Hello Idea Care, I'm Rinku Phulsunge, living in Hadapsar, Pune. This is regarding my broadband connection refund. I've requested for the broadband connection in last year October 2014 that time I've paid Rs.2694 cash (for 2 months) to the Idea executive Mr. Yogesh Bharam ([protected]) and he gave me the assurance that within two days the connection will be active. Later on got call from him saying about the signal strength is weak in your society so the connection cannot be done and you will get refund. For that he gave me contact no. of his senior Ashish Joshi ([protected] / [protected]) to claim the refund. From last year I'm in contact with Mr. Ashish Joshi and he is still giving me some random reasons, also meanwhile his contact number was unreachable and still I'm waiting for the refund. This is not good at all. Because of this Idea broadband is getting very bad impression in Pune and as a brand name this doesn't suits you. Some of my friends also facing the same problem with Idea connection. I think now it is time to take some action, I'm really very disappointed with your service. I'm waiting for your response and hoping that issue will be resolved as soon as possible. Hi. I am Vikrant and I live in pimple saudagar. I have registered complain with idea customer care that I am not receiving any connectivity on Monday 14/9/15. And I was assured my complaint will be resolved in 24 hrs and maximum by 16/9/15 1.30 pm. I have followed up twice daily yet they only have answer that is the complaint is in process. I called again today saying that the maximum time limit of 16 th has also elapsed Andrew they shamelessly ask for 24 hrs more. This kind of service is not acceptable from Idea. And this has happened everytime I have registered a complain. They have taken minimum three days time. BAD SERVICE.
Thanks Idea Cellular, My issue is resolved and i got my refund.

      Idea store name : Vision enterprises, Loni, Tal. Rahata, Dist. Ahmednagar - 413736 I have applied for Idea postpaid connection around 27 July 2015. I have 2 Vodafone number : [protected] and [protected]. I want to take Easy share plan. So that I can share benefit of plan in both my mobile numbers. My first number [protected] get activated on 7th august 2015 after 2 rejections. Rejection is due to insufficient information provided to me. My second number [protected] activation rejected due to “Lack of local residence proof”. At Idea store they have taken local residence proof for [protected] but tell me that there is no need for local residence proof in second number that is [protected]. After 10 days around 17th July 2015, I have called idea store about the status of 2nd number activation . Then they told me that It is rejected to “Lack of local residence proof”. They didn’t even bother to inform customer that application is rejected. I went to idea store and resubmitted my photo, Aadhar card and local residence proof. My second number [protected] activated on 26th July 2015.I have started using Internet on [protected] but Charges applied for internet usage. To know about internet charges, I call Idea customer care. They told me your second number [protected] is activated independent of first number (Actually Idea store people had to add my second number in Easy share plan). But because of Idea store mistake 2 numbers are activated independently. To know and solve this issue, I visited Idea store on 27th July 2015. They told me that they have applied for merging this two numbers but Request Id cannot be given to me . At Idea store, I have called Idea customer care officer Mr. Satish. Mr. Satish explained me very nicely about the issue and also talked with Idea store in charge Mr.Ganesh. Mr.Ganesh and Mr.Satish told me that merging will be done in 3 days and your first bill which is to be generated on 6th September will be taken care by my idea and I have to pay “nothing = 0 Paisa”. I have spent 1 Hour on Idea store to solve the Issue. Now, On 6th September, my bill for number [protected] of 320 rs generated and merging of two numbers has not been done. So Again I went to Idea store, they told me you have to pay the bill. I called Customer care and talked to Mr Satish. He told me that Mr.Ganesh had made a promise to take care the bill. Mr.Ganesh was not present at Idea store. They told me that Mr.Ganesh is on leave and whenever he comes he will call me. With assurance of getting call I went home. I have spent 1 Hour on Idea store to solve the Issue. On 7th and 8th September I have called Idea store but Mr.Ganesh not available. Finally, On 9th September I have taken mobile no. Of Mr.Ganesh and called him. He told me that Merging of two numbers take time How much he don’t know and Some amount will be deducted from my bill after merging is done. My due date for bill submission is 21st September. so Again on 11th September I called Idea store, They tell me that Mr.Ganesh is not available. I called Mr.Ganesh on personal mobile number but he is not picking up the phone. I am latterly frustrated with this kind of bad service. No one is able to give answers to my question. Till now, My two numbers are not merged. I cannot use internet and cannot make calls from [protected]. What should I do now? I want to deactivate my idea number but store person tell that you have to use for 3 months and pay the bills. So this is the way you treat your customer idea? and looted them? Customer has to suffer due to lack of knowledge of idea customer care executive and Idea store persons. Every time I call customer care, I have to request to transfer call to some senior person. My questions; 1. Can I deactivate my number now? 2. Why merging take so much time? 3. Is it my mistake that they have activated two numbers independently in spite of specific instruction so that I have to pay 320 rs? 4. What about the bill of present month ? Rental will be charged to me as per 30 rs/day? Can any responsible person in Idea company solve my issue???????????????

      An idea can change your life but i didn’t know that it is in the sense that your life will be made awful, with waste of time and money and utter frustration.

      I have applied for Idea postpaid connection around 27 July 2015.

      In reference to above complain I received call from Idea store, Loni. Mr. John told me that first you pay 320 rs bill then merging can be done. Why should i pay bill which is generated due to their mistake?

      He told me to come to store. I visited store for 10-15 times earlier. I am fed up of visiting the store. Every time they gave false
      commitments and are unable to fulfil commitments.

      I just want satisfactory commitment by senior person who can take responsibility of solving the whole matter or deactivation of my number.

        I got 2 idea postpaid connection before three months from idea representative who visited our organization during last week of June. He gave almost 15 idea postpaid connection in our organization. He took some security money from us, i gave him 600/- (300/- per connection). He mentioned that this money going to be added in your account later. He told us that when customer care people call you don't tell them that you have given any money. He promised that he will deposit money in our account in third bill. Now it's been three months and that person has no mood of depositing my money, daily i am making call to him to ask status of depositing money. Daily he is making excuses that "today i will deposit or i gave money today customer case people will update it" etc. I called to customer care from where i didn't get any solution. So far my experience with idea is not good. Not good customer care, representative not good. This is my last effort regarding this with hope that this issue will be resolved by you. All people from our organization decided to close their connection because of it. I am sending you details of person(Idea representative) who is not submitting my money.           This is to inform you that I am continuously getting phone calls from No. [protected] for non payment of bill against the said mobile. First of all I would like to inform you that the said mobile no is not use by me and I have not received the sim card against the said mobile. after several discussions with Mr. Nilesh Patil I had paid Rs. 100/- through Paytm on 5th August, 2015 at no fault of mine and Mr. patil has agreed that after making the payment I will not received any phone calls against the said number but would like to regret to inform you even now I am receiving phone calls from the No. [protected] and they are asking me to pay a bill against the said mobile numbers which does not pertains to me. Kindly look into the matter and guide me accordingly.

          Today I have received a call from the your executive asking me to pay a bill of Rs. 318/- against the said mobile. Call was received from the Cell No. [protected] around 4.00 pm and [protected] around 5.56 pm. In this connection I would like to have clarification on the following points.

          1. How the mobile No. [protected] got activated without document verification. No body has visited to my residence for verification.
          2. Without providing me Sim Card for the said number how the number got activated.
          3. I have not made any request to Idea cellular for activation of the said number on their number 59090 even though how the number got activated.

          Kindly let me have the clarification on the above mentioned points from you at an early date.

            I got call from idea cellular as we have plan for dialer tone. It will be free for one year. They have started it and showing amount Rs.249 in a bill. I got message from idea, this was stopped in same hour. But still charged for dailer tone. I had raised complaints to customer care, still no positive reply.

            Sir [protected] is my idea no. I have recharge it with 80 rs on 21 sept 2015.i get 72 rs. But after some time a/c show only 27 rs how it is possible .your custome care always tell me that your a/c is not updated . i am shocked from your deduction procedure .plz refund my money .

              I recharged my phone with ₹195(unlimited 2g data pack) on 7th september. I again recharged of ₹75(300 mb data pack) two days later. After finishing 300 mb of my data, i continued using my mobile data but they deducted my main balance.while complaing in customer care they hunged up my phone 5 times. Reason they gave for deducting the balance was that whrn i did the 2nd recharge it cancelled the 1st one.when i told them that i had done the same for so many times they hunged up the phone.so please tell me what to do against the monopoly of cellular companies. I feel betrayed and i cant do anything to them..

                Hello, I have recharge'd my phone of IDEA network contact no.[protected] from freecharge.com of rs 98 on 5 Sep. 2015 Order Id:FCVA[protected] but I didn't received any recharge but instead I got deduction from my account. I bought this notice to the freecharge.com I mailed them they saying it may take another 1 to 2 days for completion of transactions this is how they trouble consumers.                   This complaint is regarding my idea postpaid number . This is to bring to your notice that I have been using this number for the past 3 years but there have been numerous problems in the past year. Idea has increased credit limit to Rs 3000 without any prior information. I have been using net pack also. I directly got a message saying that i have exceeded my credit limit of rs 3000. I should have been updated with my net usage if it was exceeding the net package. The services to my phone have been stopped within 4 hours of receiving the message that I have exceeded my credit limit, whereas the rules mention that prior intimation regarding stoppage of services is to be given at least 3 days in advance. This has happened for the second time in last 6 months. On calling idea customers care services, the concerned people are not at all helpful. I lodged an official complaint on their website and mail id but with no relief. This kind of poor service has costed me my important time in addition to additional unnecessary expenses. I have suffered a lot of inconvenience. I received a message that my credit limit had exceeded and within 3 hours all my services were terminated. While officially notice is to be given 3 days in advance, I received it on the same day. On the other hand, I was not informed that my credit limit has been increased from 1500 to 3000. I am a surgeon by profession. If during the period when my services were suddenly cut, some emergency would have come or my patient would have deteriorated, i would have never known because of poor services on your behalf. Would your company have taken responsibility for the same? I am very upset as this has happened for the second time. And now I am being constantly harassed by phone calls from your employees. I will not pay the outstanding amount this time and i want a proper response from them.

                  1. they have not informed us regarding complete exhaust of my net package. previously they use to inform us by messaging and through notification. 2. they increased my credit limit from 1500 to 3000. previously they always informed me prior about this increase in credit limit. once my bill crossed 3000 then they realized and increased my credit limit without informing me. 3. my credit limit is now as per their norms is 3000 but my generated bill is 3900. they expressed regret about inconvenience but has not taken any action and asking to pay the bill.

How come you can except me to pay for services that not been attended or unresolved from your end. Besides this i have sent you so many emails, you have not responded too and whenever you are comfortable and return to customer’s email either one or two week later You guys hand over this to some third-party legal team, if customer not reachable and they use some gundos and call my relatives, threatening them and me. After all these things I have gone through from you and you except me to PAY for 885 RS.                       Respected sir i am a idea customer, to know the internet offers i called 121 service from my idea cell phone. i heard a computer voice to press one or two or three, i pressed three to know my internet offer. After pressing that a computer voice told that for rupees 7 one day pack you will get 100MB data, to activate it press five it told. i activated the pack by pressing the option five. After the activation i started using the internet. i just used not more that 50MB suddenly net is not connected. i removed the sim and inserted it once again, i got shocked after seeing the balance amount it was showing "your balance is:0.00. my whole balance was detected. when i conducted the idea customer care they told that they have detected the amount for using internet but i have not used more than 100MB (as told in your help line number 121). for this your customer care has told that all the planes have been changed after 12.08.2015. you will get only 30MB for rupees 7 our system is not updated till yet. i am asking you without updating your system why you are changing the plan. i have been fooled by you system on 13.08.2015. it's an forgery to the customer by giving a wrong date to the customer and detected the money for it. still today you system is not updated, still i am hearing the same from your 121 service (for rupees 7, 100MB) i want my money back, if not i will go to consumer court for doing forgery to me. please hear the audio in the attachment when i conducted your customer care, its an recorded call for the proof of your system non-update, fraud information and wasted the time of your customer. .                       You have given only my detected money not the data, but you have don an forgery to the customers by giving a wrong date to the customers. This is an offence according to Indian law, it affected me mentally because of your customer care supporters.

                        The bill amt is not correct at all.in starting once i paid but i am not going to pay again for my no.[protected]. when i called up customer care they said i had used my 350 minutes in first 6 days which was not correct pls check it out twice before sending the bill i am not a frequent caller so there is no question that i used my minutes my two numbers which i called regularly are free by this number. when i had opted for this connection exe. said me 350 minutes i can use as i want. but now ur people are saying minutes are available only local mobile to mobile.land line & std will charge separately this not done wrong commitment to provide connection (we opted for 3 numbers other two are [protected], [protected])i am not going to pay this much bill for sure.some small charges for internet using who used it.till 1/09/15 *147# was giving 143rs as billed amt in 4 days it raised to 275rs how do you manage this hats off. on customer care they say this is corporate number we does not have details pls visit idea point on idea point they said don't have any details contact to your agent what is this when u does not have our details why u connected us to call center. idea points will take payment of bill but cannot provide details.very bad u are ready to take money but not ready to provide services. i was having reliance number but because of bad service i opted idea but not satisfied.you say value our association but i disagree and like this wrong billings this will not continued. this ur system mistake request you to pls make it correct i am not going to bear it.                         No revert after communication on Saturday long time passed.even when i had received this sim it was prior activated by exe. hemant i received the sim on 11thjuly and the sim was activated before 5th July.i had not done the verification it was done by him only.when i askd why he said because of activation pressure i did it.we also promised for 100 sms daily by him.i don't have any information now what i all i am getting on sim as what he said only i know.on 198 no information.pls revert so i can compensate the bill or close my connection.

                          My case is same as " praveen nandi on Jan 13, 2015" and numerous others, I activated the 3G [protected]@250, because I wanted to fill up the taxes and some financial transactions online as my bsnl wifi was under maintenance. I had thoroughly checked the terms and conditions and nowhere found that, There is anything which mention that you should use the internet in throughout 30 days. Moreover, Idea site do not yield any result for `Prorated Overage Charges`. As in my case, I finished the 1GB withing few days, As soon as I reached my 1 GB limit and I turnoff my Idea's Mobil data on 16 Aug 2015. And then, Idea charged 541.200 Rs under the Prorated Overage Charges section. In my opinion Idea Cellular has breached consumer rights of `Right to Information` and `the right to consumer education`. For Idea before replying to my complaint please read and understand what I want: Regarding my case, you might have charged correctly (as per your law), I am not seeking 541.00/-. I am expecting the document which you published to educate/inform your customers regarding ` Prorated Overage Charges section`. I also wanted to know, How you have not break the "Right to information" which made to save consumer from hidden charges levied by provider.

                          2. I will not call your call centre, because you are charging 50Paise per minute from my pocket to explain you about your fault.

                          Today I just received my e-bill and found Idea has charged me for Prorated Overrage Charges#

                          Team, This card I bought in Pune and I recently got job in Mumbai. Before coming to Mumbai, I checked with customer care and found that I will not be charged for roaming as I am postpaid user/customer.

                          In Maharashtra circle, I wont get any charge. But still I am charged with this. My total bill amount is 785.73 !!

                          Could you please look at this issue as soon as possible and let me know the reason for charges.

                          Yeah this is similar to me as well. i got my idea bill today and there included "Prorated Overage Charges" as 302.32. My idea number converted last month first week itself to pre paid. For this i paid total dues. Even though i am getting this charges without any information.
                          Dear Idea Team,
                          I received my bill of duration 15 July to 24 August 2017 against my mob number [protected]. The total bill is 2469 and it surprised me that it is the highest bill ever from Idia. Moreover, it is bill for 10 days and showing because of internet use.

                          I want to make it clear that i did not use the internet (prorated charge Rs. 2115) as much as bill is claiming and i think because i ported out my number. I expect all professional behavior from Idea and it seems cheap to put the high bill in case of number is ported out.

                          I request you to see the issue.

                          Note: It is the rule that company never let ported the number if any pending till the date you get a request for porting. In this view, my first request for porting was rejected due to the same reason (on 18 july). That's why I deposited extra around rs (50+128) other than last month bill (around 460) on 15 July and got ported. Now, i don't understand on what basis, Idea is claiming the highest bill.

                            Idea service is one of the fraud company in india which is taking advantage of general people need, last 3 days ago i had done internet pack 1 gb for 28 days but idea services consume 1 gb data + my talktime balance within 3 days without any downloading or any streaming. This not only for me but also happen wit my friends. Thanks idea team for fraud

                                    As per above mentiones subject Iam the customer possesing two numbers [protected] & [protected] My kind submission of regarding Subject is as follows Dt[protected] i personaly vissited idea Gallery, ramesh more chok, andheri east and close my data plan services of Mobile numbers. On the contrary I have recived answer that Plan service is deactivated on same date with immediate effect. Last month i have recived Bill mentioning all charges including Data services plan. I immediately had word with idea customer care regarding unnecessary addition charges of Data Plan services which deactivated. then error of Compny they made correction in my both bill. I am not using any Data plan services and i personally requested to deactivate since 10/07/2015 n still. My both data plan activation is done bu Back team of Idea services without my knowledge and concern. this kind tratment which I have recived from Idea is completely unwelcome and Disturbing. I after receving confirmation of deactivation I am not responsible and liable to pay charges which Iam not using. yours Faithfull. Mahesh Nyaynirgune.

                                      Not activated yet, No Service! I have purchased IDEA SIM 3 days ago and when i bought this idea post-paid number, they informed me that it will be activated in 2 hrs max. however after 3 days now also the problem remains the same. as no activatition is done and still it is showing NO SERVICE. how can i call 59059 unless i get idea signals on my mobile set. [protected] an employee of IDEA office from Sharda Center Office Pune were bought in the month of June. I have been requesting him to mail the bill of the DEVICE(dongles) but till to date the bill has not been mailed. I need to submit the bills to my accounts office.
