Hi,
I booked a flight ticket on 27-aug-19 from hyderabad to brussels from indigo airlines through makemytrip portal. The flight was hyderabad to mumbai (Indigo airlines) and from mumbai to istanbul (Indigo but operated by turkish lines) and from istanbul to brussels also same indigo but operated by turkish lines.
The ticket was booked and also i got status ticket confirmed as well in the ticket status. The flight was at 10:30 pm from hyderabad till mumbai. I went to indigo airlines (Hyd airport) to check-in my luggage and they gave me the boarding pass till mumbai only when i asked why the boarding is still mumbai, i should i get the boarding pass till brussels, they said there is some system at our end you can collect the boarding till brussels at mumbai airport when you reach when i ask ed about my luggage dont worry it will be check-in luggage and you can collect it at the destination (Brussels). So when i boarded the flight and landed at mumbai airport. As the flight from mumbai to istanbul was operated by turkish airlines i went to turkish airlines counter to collect my boarding pass, when the operated checked the status he said your ticket is confirmed at our side and told me to check indigo customer care. I contacted the indigo customer care (Available at the mumbai airport) about the issue and they check at system and told me that the system is showing is ticket is confirmed from our side, let us go and check with turkish airlines customer care. So again we went to turkish airlines count and enquired about the ticket, they said though the ticket is booked and confirmed at your end, but in our system the ticket is not booked. Which means though the ticket is confirmed from indigo airlines due to some techincal error the ticket is not confirmed at turkish side. So indigo team instead of booking a new ticket they forced to book a ticket with different airlines.
Due to technical system error from turkish and miscommunication from indigo and turkish, i missed the flight and had book a new ticket with different airlines which costed my almost 80, 000.
I want some one to look into this issue and compensate me for the loss and mental stress which i faced.
