I had made a booking on 3rd august, payment debited from my account.
Payment amount inr 3783.00
Transaction id 5738d26ecb6c[protected]
Date/time of payment 03 aug 2019; 1841 hrs
The booking was not done, and i got email from indigo like this :-
"however, we are holding a pnr zg7wnc at the same price until[protected]:41 pm ist.
You may click here to make your payment. http://I9f.in/CGntzNB31j.
In case your account has been debited, the amount will be refunded within 5 working days. Please note that the refund timeframe varies across banks.

I was checking the pnr number meanwhile, but always got the same statusquo that the booking is not paid.
Then i changed my plans & decided some other route & went ahead.
Meanwhile as instructed by these indigo people, i waited for nearly 10 days instead of 5 working days; still the refund didn't come through. Then spoke to the support number [protected]; one gentleman made me talk to nearly half an hour, and generated a new pnr, a booking for the same flight, which i don't need now. He was overall okay (Couldnt speak hindi that well; but ok) but straight away denied when i told him about the email which has been received by me. He said "kuch email wagaira nahi aya sir". [see the attached screenshot]
This is not expected at all. How can this so called great company appoint such irresponsible officers, who instead of issuing refunds, are making you buy tickets?
My demand is very clear :-
I am not going to accept the newly issued ticket. I want indigo to refund my money. Simple.

As checked, the amount which got deducted during the initial transaction was auto reversed and will be credited to the original mode of payment within 5-7 working days. However, if the same is not credited then you need to contact the respective Bank. We look forward to your understanding.
