Dear indigo airlines,
I fly very frequently with your airlines as i always appreciated your services. But today while flying by 6e 889 along with my family consisting of my wife and my two minor sons occupying seat number 15 c, 15 d, 15 e and 15 f were very pained at the unfriendly, unhelpful and mechanical behaviour of the chief stewardess ms lucy. I just want to narrate my side of the story and kindly let me know where my fault lies. We are pure vegetarians and don't even eat onion and garlic. I wanted to prebook our meals for jain food as that doesn't contain onion and garlic, however finding no options in the prebooking section, i than wanted to book nuts and beverage for all four o[censored]s, but again there was no option. Finding no options available for prebooking, i booked 4 veg biryani hoping that i could exchange the same with nuts and a beverage in-flight. Also to inform you that we travelled from gau to del on 25th august and the stewards was kind to exchange our veg biryani with 4 cashew and 4 beverages and we were very grateful to her and appreciated our favourite airlines as always (In fact at all times of our indigo journey we have been exchanging our veg meals with nuts and beverages) but today while returning from del to gau i was really appalled by the behaviour, tone and tenor of stewardess lucy, which i find alien to indigo standards. Especially at a time when polished soft skills rule the airlines industry that we can perceive with air asia's etiquette after partnering with singaporean airlines. Just to make things more heart touching and painful, both my minor sons started to make demands and cry asking for roasted almonds to me and the stewardess and i once again requested to ms lucy very humbly to help me with at least exchange 1 box of almonds with the veg biryani but to my utter shock she out rightly rejected my request even for a single box of roasted almonds stating company policy.in the end we just took 4 nos of beverages and left the 4 veg biryanis to indigo. I don't know what to say further but just want to let you know my feelings because the indigo policy was also there when we travelled on 25th from gau to del (As like all other times we flew with indigo) but the stewardess handled the issues so beautifully that i was in praise for my indigo airlines and today i am left with a very bad taste of apathy and carelessness. My only request to the learned indigo management is to find bad cases of soft skills as ms lucy and train them extensively on improving their empathetic behavioural skills. Also kindly let me know where my fault lies since ionly consumed 4 beverages amounting to rs 400/- only and 4 veg byranis worth rs 600/- i have lost and all this since i had no options to prebook a meal of my choice.

    I got a phone call from [protected] on 27th august at 1.21pm regarding the recruitment of the air ticketing executive at indigo airline. Caller asked me to send my documents for verification. After that i received call from [protected] for shortlisting my documents. They asked me to give online test and told me to pay 1800/- before the exam which will be refunded after 24hrs as per them. They informed me that i was selected for next round. Next day i got phone call from [protected] regarding the next interview and asked me to fill up some details and to pay 5500/- before the telephonic interview as background verification. After that i got call from [protected] who introduced me as hr of indigo airline and asked some random questions. After 30mins i received the confirmation call for being selected and told me that they will provide me the offer letter through email the next day. But the next day the caller demanded 14000/- before sending offer letter. And told me that all the amount will be refunded by cash when i will join the training. When i told them i am not able to send the money they pressurised me to pay the amount by hook or by crook. I am sending you the details of the phone calls, emails and messages send by caller. Please take a quick action and do the needful regarding this matter.

      I had received job letter from IndiGo airlines in todays date. I had given an online test and even send those test score to jet.[protected]@asia.com since they told me to do and even they said to pay registration fees 750, documents verification Rs.2500 & gate pass fees Rs.7900 to the a/c name indigo airlines & said they vll give me hard copy of offer letter by courier please tell me the job offer letter i had received is genuine or not i have searched in web some says they are fraud please answer so that if its a fraud then i can file a fir against Indigo airlines

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        I had received a job invitation from indigo airlines(letter attached). the invitation was sent to me on August 28, 2019 with a deadline of even date at 2.00pm to complete the application formalities and I was advised to deposit an amount of Rs.8, 900/- towards refundable security deposit (as the company would be sponsoring the flight tickets for the interview held in banglore as on September 14, 2019) in the below mentioned current account.

        Bank Name - Union Bank of India.

        The details of the person contacting is as under:

        Accordingly, I have deposited the said amount along with the requisite documents.

        I then received a call from Mr.Dhir, confirming the receipt of application and selection (without an interview) which raised a qualm, following which i had further investigated with indigo airlines

        On investigation it was learnt that the account and the recruitment was fake.

        Since then I am trying to contact Mr.Dhir for a refund which turns out to be completely futile.

        I would humbly request indigo airlines to investigate the matter inorder to discourage such future frauds

              We bought 3 return Turkish airways tickets from Tel Aviv to Delhi. The ticket numbers are[protected],[protected] and[protected]. Our return flight from Delhi to Istanbul was codeshared with Indigo. Flight 6E11on August 16, 2019. It arrived late to Istanbul, and as a result we were late to board the connecting Turkish Airways flight to Tel Aviv. All the other flight to TLV were fully booked - the first available seats we could get were business tickets in Turkish airways. We had no choice but to buy these tickets since neither Indigo or Turkish airways in Istanbul compensated us.
              I have receipts of the tickets - they were 815 USD each. They are attached. Please refund us.

I received a email on 21/8/2019 form indigo hr department about i getting short listed for there recruitment post and was asked to pay amount of 21, 364. I did pay the amount and now i m in tension that this is fake. Can you please confirm is this fake and if its fake i am going to complain it in police and i want my money back.

                I have been asked to sign a bond of 45000 and the person is Mr.Raj Raghavan. Then he said that I will be directly selected and I can join anytime. Indigo please look at this types of calls. I have lost my 22, 000 because of this. Will you refund it, I guess no.But this is fraud and please take care of this.

                Ok, I understand that. But are you even taking action about this? There are lot many people complaining about the same. Take some serious action or other wise I will post all this on social media and then the company can see how many people they have already lost there money.
                We forgot a bag containing one white color suit and a kids t-shirt in flight 6E114 on 24th aug from lucknow to Delhi.

                  They are a scam.. They charged me 17, 000 inr for my hand luggage which was excess of 5kgs.. Firstly they check hand luggage weight.. I'm not aware of any airline who weighs hand luggages. Just for 5kgs extra they made me check-in my hand luggage and charged me for entire 14kgs. My flight tickets from hk to mumbai was 15, 000 inr which includes me (80kgs), check in bag (20kgs) and hand luggage bag (7kgs). And they are charging me 17, 000 inr for just 5kgs of extra hand luggage.

                    I booked a flight and applied a voucher of ₹1000 provided to me by Indigo in lieu of delay in my previous flight (indigo promise which I purchased) and they compensated the delay of 4hrs with a voucher of ₹1000.
                    Now I applied this voucher for my current booking, due to some reasons I have to cancel my flight and Indigo is neither refunding me my taxes not providing me voucher that I can reuse for another booking.

                    My concern is that ok even if they donot return the voucher, they cannot have the Taxes amount.

                    That amount is paid to govt. The voucher they have provided should be for their airfare and not for the taxes.

                      The details of the entire incident is as follows:
                      I am writing this with utmost anger due to deficiency of services on indigo airlines on august 11 and 16 2019.
                      I have traveled with indigo airlines for the 1st time. Normally, i am very sure those international flight with the service and im regular traveler. However, on august 11, 2019, i had an unpleasant experience. This has been very upsetting for me, and i want to send you a email to give you the opportunity to respond. I bought the tickets at full price at the last minute to attend urgent work related trip. I was to leave kuala lumpur at 1:50 am on flight 1822 and connecting to istanbul on flight 4001 at 06:25. I have to things to ask on this flight
                      I) why there is no in flight entertainment
                      Ii) the food and beverage given just a box of cashew-nut is that the only meal you guys provided on international flight

                      On my return flight from istanbul
                      I) i was roll by your indigo and collaboration partner turkish on my luggage. I was informed by your duty manager i cant checked in final destination. I need a concrete reason otherwise goin to complaint to consumer law
                      Ii) was a best joke just 15mins before landing the stewardess came and ask what i would like to have when earlier they were selling like one and half hour after take off is this your international service like if its why the ticket price was similar to others who offer full service
                      Supposed to arrive in mumbai. My flight number was 12345. I have enclosed a copy of my ticket for your reference.

                        One week back I have received a call that they are the indigo consultant recruiting for so and so position in so and so place.They used to contact me daily for documents and date of visiting.And finally they are asking me to pay money for visit and they will be refunded.I'm receiving the mails from [protected]@goindigo.in.

                          I booked air ticket in indigo. I lost my boarding pass and i need to submit it in office. So i am trying to apply for travel certificate from indigo air lines. So this complaint is about that.
                          I am trying to request for travel certificate but it is showing error: please enter correct email address. I tries many mail ids, but showing the same. Please provide me a travel certificate.

                            surprisingly INDIGO WEBSITE says this about failed transaction refund==

                            The amount has been deducted from my account however, I have not received the ticket?

                            There may be two types of situations where the amount may be deducted from your account but the ticket has not been generated:

                            Situation 1: The amount has been deducted from my card/ account; however I have not received the ticket?

                            Situation2: The transaction has been captured by IndiGo via Net Banking, Maestro, ATM/Debit card, EzeClick, Citi Bank Reward Points, however, the ticket has not been generated.

                            The situations above can have one of the two following outcomes:

                            The amount received by us will automatically be refunded within 5 business days
                            In case it is not refunded then you may share the following Information with our call center team or contact our customer relations team via email (customer.[protected]@goIndiGo.in):
                            Transaction ID sent by IndiGo via email at the time of initiating the payment along with amount, date and time of transaction OR
                            PGI Reference number along with amount, date and time of transaction OR
                            Scanned copy of bank statement

                              I am writing this with utmost anger due to deficiency of services on indigo airlines part at patna airport on august 02, 2019.

                              The details of the entire incident is as follows:

                              My brother had booked tickets from indigo airlines for my elderly parents. Due to their poor health and old age we bought the wheel chair assistance from the airlines.

                              My parents were to travel from patna to visakhapatnam via kolkata on july 31st, 2019 from kolkata there was a flight change. The pnr/ booking reference no was gekikp.

                              However, the indigo flight from kolkata to visakhapatnam on the mentioned date was cancelled.

                              Their itinerary was modified and we decided to travel on august 02, 2019 with the same flight. Their total travel time was 4 hours 15 minutes.

                              On reaching the airport 8 am, my parents were handed over the boarding passes from patna to kolkata and from kolkata to visakhapatnam. After waiting for 1 hour, at 9 am, we received the call that the flight from patna to kolkata has been delayed. The same was informed to my parents at the airport. When they requested for an alternative flight via hyderabad, which, as per the indigo website, had the fastest travel time till visakhapatnam, they were informed by the airlines staff that the delay of the said flight will not hinder their journey and that they would travel through the same flight as per their itinerary and the boarding passes issued to them. Despite our repeated requests, the airlines staff did not pay any heed to the same and my old, senior citizens, wheel chair bound parents were made to wait unnecessary at the airport.

                              After waiting for 4 long hours at patna airport my parents, were asked to immediately board a delhi bound flight at 12.30 pm, as their kolkata flight was delayed beyond reasonable time. They were immediately made to board the delhi bound flight without any explanation. Also, all their boarding passes were taken from them and they were made to sit in the flight without boarding passes. They were not informed about their alternate routes. They were not given any information.

                              Just before the takeoff of the delhi bound flight, the airlines staff rushed to my parents and handed them 4 boarding passes, without the luggage slip.

                              On reaching delhi, we realised that
                              1. My parents modified itinerary, as per patna indigo staffs was patna to delhi, delhi to hyderabad and hyderabad to visakhapatnam (Longest and awfully modified itinerary for wheel chair bound passengers)
                              2. The other major audacity was that there was just 10 minutes difference in the arrival flight, from delhi to hyderabad and boarding flight, from hyderabad to visakhapatnam
                              3. There was no assistance given to my parents. My parents were stranded at terminal 2
                              4. Their luggage was lost
                              3. Their flight arrived at terminal 2 in delhi, however, their delhi to hyderabad flight was departing from terminal 1d. Their was a terminal change and the same was not informed to them.

                              My father, who is 64 years, had spine surgery few years back due to which he has problem in walking. He is also suffering from high blood sugar and blood pressure.

                              My mother, 61 years, is suffering from high blood pressure. All their medicines were in the luggage which was lost at delhi airport.

                              After 2 hours of our long struggle in delhi at terminal 1d with the airlines staff my parents received proper itinerary, however the layover at delhi terminal 2 airport was another 4 hours.

                              Their travel time increased from 4 hours 15 minutes to 12 long hours. They were at the airport without proper food, care, and their medication.

                              My parents were sent back to terminal 2 from terminal 1d at delhi. Fortunately, their luggage was also traced and handed over to them and they were made to shuffle from terminal 1d to terminal 2 with their luggage.

                              All of the above incident caused not only mental harassment, but also they were physically tired and harassed by constantly moving from different airports and terminals.

                              The severe deficiency of the services of the airlines and their untrained staffs have caused tremendous pressure, both mentally and physically to my parents, who are senior citizens, under constant medication and wheel chair bound.

                              My parents were handled very inappropriately and in a very highly insensitive manner at patna airport. The staff were very rude to them. They had no knowledge as to how such sensitive issues pertaining to wheel chair bound passengers are handled.

                              In reference to the above, i want indigo airlines to take cognizance of the entire situation and compensate to my parents for their traumatic experience.

                                  I was carrying 3kgs excess in my luggage and no checkin baggage but the guy refused to take that and made me carry the luggage in my hand. I understand there is a policy but policies don’t change everyday right? When i came they adjusted the same from mumbai but chennai staff was really adamant. There was a delay of flight from 9.10 to 11.50pm and no courtesy shown by any staff.

                                    Sir i have received a call from indigo airlines and they said that your are selected as a system operator in our company and then they started to ask money for online exam, certificate verification, medical, training, dress code, open bank account, insurance and accomodation and all the money i have paid and i got the information that this is fake and the person is vipin chauhan from hyderabad indigo airlines

                                    I got a mail saying that I'm shortlisted for indigo airlines interview, that is to be held on 4th Sept. in Mumbai . For the interview they are asking 9800 rupees for security amount and this is from Mukul shinde(mentioned HR name ). Is this a fraud ? Or should I pay for it?

                                      Hi I am Asath, on 16th August 2019 i received a mail with a call letter from indigo regarding the interview process to be held in 24th August at Bangalore. They asked to pay an amount of Rs. 8900 plus GST as a security deposit. This was for air tickets, pickup, drop etc. I first made a payment of Rs.8900/- and later on they informed me that I should make the make payment including taxes Rs.10, 502/- and they will refund the Rs.8900/-
                                      After payment, they sent an application form with few details.On that same day i got a call like there is an opportunity of direct joining without interview and i am one among them. Rs. 40, 000 has be paid as a bond which will be refunded after 18 months. I didnt gone for that offer, so they said they will refund Rs.8900/-.
                                      But they haven't made the refund yet. Please help me how can I recover my money back?

                                        I am a gynecologist 73 years old native of kuthuparamba, kannur, kerala. I went to chennai to attend the funeral of my uncle and had return ticket for flight 6e 7971 for 11th aug.19. Boarding time 1405 departure time 1450. I reached the airport 1.50pm. I got the boarding pass at 2.05pm. I went for security check, there was pandemonium there. I finished the checking and reached gate no 5 at 2.25 pm. The girl there told me that 1405 is the boarding time and they give 10 minutes grace time. I cannot go as gate is closed.in my ticket it is written that gate closes 25 minutes before departure. I reached there sufficiently early. She told me she cannot do anything. I requested her that i am a doctor and i have to attend op next day. She came upstairs with me. Mean time 5 more passengers came with the same problem saying they were held up at security check hence late. Now she said she cannot do anything. Go to no.50 counter and try for alternate arrangements. Only one flight was there to calicut. One o[censored]s chose that. I wanted refund. Then started another ordeal. I was told to go to the count on opposite side of counter 50. I got the instruction to go to front entry. I went out and reached other side of the same counter. Another lady there told me pointing her finger to left go that side. No counter was seen there except an entry point to inside of the airport. I came back. One full day is lost just because of callous attitude of the airline. Can i get a refund now?
