Dear Respected Sir,

My name is JAIKRISHAN SINGH KATHAIT having tel. no. 26301517, C.A.No. [protected] since 2007.
Sir, I would like to take your kind attention for my above said tel. no. which is not working properly from the date of installation, I made so many complaints than after a month it works, I have mentioned below some earlier complaints for reference. It was in working condition for few days from the date of installation otherwise it is in deactivation mode.
By this email I request you to kindly calculate the deactivation days from the beginning and give me the credit for the same.
I took MTNL connection for my convenience and if the services of MTNL will remain same than nobody will be interested to take the MTNL connection.
Kindly assure me that my connection will work properly in upcoming future.

MTNL, Delhi — Unjustified charges levied

This is to bring to your notice that I have been using the MTNL broadband connection from last few months under phone # 22783814. This seems little strange that MTNL being such a reputed company is not keeping its promises.
Actually I registered for the MTNL broadband under a scheme launched on Ramnavamy in the month of April 2009. The scheme promised to only charge Rs 500 at the time of registration for the connection and remaining 500 in the upcoming bill for security. The scheme specifically promised that there would be no charges for below:
One time REGN. ADSL: 200
Initial Deposit for DSL: 300
DSL Installation and Test: 100
Broadband number :[protected]
However, even after getting the connection registered under the scheme on date (19th April 2009)under CA # [protected], I was charged with the above charges under the bill # [protected] which came in month of May 2009.
I followed up with MTNL on this and tried my level best, however had no results. So, I would like MTNL to review and please pay me back the amount charged from me. My Broadband number is[protected].

This would be really appreciated if someone can take this up and help me.

    I have tried to lodge the complaints against the unexpected behaviour and bad language used by MTNL Customer care executive and try to send it on mtnl email id feedback.[protected]@bol.net.in. But, making a lot effort, I am unable to lodge because, the mail ids doesnot receive my complain. I wanted to attract the attention of higher officials of MTNL Delhi on the above subject that some of their customer care executive at call center using unethical and bad language while requesting for lodgement of complaints. I don't know the name of perticular executives because he didnot confirm his name and he gave me his position no, that I forgot. Yesterday, I faced such a situation while I heard some bad words used by that particular executive.

    also they gave no of higer official but no one is picking up the phone . me caller tune tune deactivate in aprill 2008 but my charges till now. every time when i complain the ans is thatt they have deactivated my caller tune then why my my balance is deducted every month .

      i have deacativated my caller tune in april 2008 but till today my balance is deducted . when i complain about this the reply come as my caller tune is deactivated. i want to ask if my caller tune is deactivated than why my balance is deducted every time. when i enquired about this on customer carew no 1503 they replied that it is deactivbated . complain no: 58400214 on 13th august 2009. when enquired about this complain no they replied that no charege is deducted from my balance, one of the customer care also replied that balance is deducted and u will be refunded. another complaint lodged on 17 august 2009 complain no 17000070 . i want full refund from may 2008 till 17 august 2009. some of the customer care also replied that balance was deducted without their knowledge. how is this possible. they gave me the no. of higher authority but no one picked up the phone and after some time the phone was busy. the no is [protected]. is this the dedicated customer service you are proud of . always the message came from no 56262. i request the concern authority to take necessary action in this regard. waiting for your reply . thank u.

      I had subscribed play tune on 4th of August at 9.45 am but till now it has not been activated despite the subcription amount has been realised from my account.The confirmation of subcription was sent the same day through sms.

      MTNL Trump Prepaid — Unauthorized Charges

      Respected Sir, My Mobile No is [protected]
      From the Last 3 months A Message comes to my mobile - "Your Subscription to M-Junction is due for renewal. You will be charged Rs 30/= on particular date" - sender 56694 by messaging centre-[protected] and on that particular date the charges are automatically deducted from my account.
      I never apply for the above said service & not interested for M-Junction
      On calling at Customer care 1503 they assure me that in future no such types of charges are deducted.
      As per their suggestion for deactivation of the above said service I also send the SMS as “STOP 56694" to 155223.
      Immediately A Reply by Message also comes at my mobile “Your request to stop or unsubscribe the service has been accepted. We shall revert back to you shortly"
      But every time Rs 30/= are deducted from my mobile account.
      On 3rd Sept 2010 again the message for deduction of Rs 30/= on 5th sept 2010 comes at my mobile. I again send the message to stop this facility & talk at 1503 to stop this facility.
      I am very much disturbed from this type of messages & not interested in M- Junction.
      So kindly do the needful at the earliest to stop this service.

      Dolphin Trump Cellular — Complaint 30+20 rupees deduced in my account without infromation

      i have recharge with 64 rupees date[protected]
      Rs. 30 has been deducted from my balance on 11.08.2011

      after that

      Rs. 20 has been deducted from my balance on 31.08.2011
      without any usage of talk time by me
      now my balance is totally Zero
      i request you to check into matter and refund my money to me

      MY MOBILE NO IS [protected].I AM A REGULAR USER OF TRUMP CARD FROM MTNL.
      ON 29 MY BAL WAS 80.00 RS.
      ON NEXT DAY WITH THREE TO FOUR CALLS MY BAL IS 32 RS. WITH ONE MORE CALL MY BAL WAS -18.00 RS.NEITHER I USED INTERNET NOR I PLAY ANY GAME.I DON'T HAVE ANY SCHEME ACTIVATED.I HAVE CALLED SEVEN TIME TO MTNL CUSTOMER CARE .THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME COMPLAIN NO.THEY CUT THE CALL AFTER EVERY 10 MINUTE .THERE CALLER ARE RUDE.

Now a few days back I got a Call that a Marketing Sms has been sent through my number where My Profile and I never use such things. Apart from this there is No Call sms and WARNING call comes to me regarding this, yes one call comes from Karol Bagh faiz Road Department but he is talking like he is Arguing with me I gently ask him for proof that I sent marketing call or sms or the number which complaint against me so that I talk to him and resolve it
      Now My Number has been temporarily suspended [protected] . I request kindly plz open it as my First warning or Provide me the complaint person Number so that I talk to him.
      Please Reply and contact as soon as possible.

      *Kindly also provide me details to how to Get number back and legal procedure for getting number and complaint person Name.

        bill not receive

        I didn't receive my mtnl landline bill and have collect duplicate copy from mtnl office.
        And have to pay surcharge for late payment. I also register complaint on 1500(mtnl customer care)
        but still no action taken.

        Respected sir/madam,

        I the custy of mtnl[protected] am facing following issue.

        I have faced the problem regarding to mtnl's garuda FWP internet connection. i have an windows vista on my computer but their pantech doesnot support vista. so had asked for upgradation/new instrument but they are not providing the insrument with my old no. they are asking me to buy a new connection.

        i believe that somebody can help me solve this issue ASAP.

            am broadband user o[censored]nlimited plan599/rs per month.in my residence line became fault. my complain number is 1014 on dated 21 july 2009 and was short out on 04.07.2009 company gave me full month bill without reduction of rebate(due to fault and unavailable service for 15 days by mtnl delhi ) from my monthly bill. Please do needfull and correct my july bill.

            Dear Sir,

            My telephone number is 26122174. The bills are regularly paid through CITI BANK. In January 2010 my telephone was disconnected without reasoning/intimating. On inquiry it was told that some amount is outstanting, however after informing that i m paying bill amount regularly the officials were satisfied and the phone was connected.

            Yesterday i.e. on 18.02.2010 the telephone has again been disconnected. we contacted on the following numbers :(i) 2410487, (ii[protected], (iii[protected] & (iv) [protected], however no satisfactory reply is given. Our bill dt. 13.01.2010 & dt.13.02.2010 is showing outstanding bills as under:-

            Bill no Bill dt. Amount Amount + Surchg

            [protected] 13.01.2004 Rs.3, 284/- Rs.3, 354/-
            [protected] 13.01.2004 Rs.1, 379/- Rs, 1, 419/-

            Firstly it is not understood how two bill for the same date has been raised. Secondly since Jan 2004 it was never informed that any amount is outstanding and now without any intimation the telephone has been disconnected.

            You are requested to look into the matter and connect the telephone.

              Network Problem

              I have been using this mobile phone service Dolphin for almost 2 years. its network is extremely poor. Voice clarity is worse and calls dropvery frequently. They offer cheap call rates, but due to dropped calls, one ends up paying way more than promised.

              whenever we complain to customer care of mtnl, they say that network upgradation work is going on, and it will smooth in a little time. But i have been hearing this for atleast...

              Respected Sir / Madam,

              My issue has been with the Network Service provided by my mobile operator MTNL - DOLPHIN MUMBAI. For your reference, below are some of my mails i had sent to various helpdesks of MTNL Mumbai. But still i have received any response. I had decided i will not pay my anymore outstanding bills but for sake of my honesty & being citizen of this country i decided to pay my bill. So i paid my bill only for month of June by cheque on 30-July-09. The reason i did not pay outstanding bill amount for May month was because i was informed by one of the Customer Service Executive of MTNL & cashier at MTNL's Shimpoli Telephone Exchange that "even if i pay atleast half of the outstanding bill, my outgoing service wouild get started". But still my service is not yet started. To verify about cheque realisation i had called up at my Bank's Phone Banking Services and it was confirmed by Phone Banking Officer that they have still not received any cheque for realisation from MTNL. When i went to MTNL's Shimpoli Telephone Exchange (where i had dropped the cheque), the above mentioned cashier informed me that they would not be aware of about my cheque since there is different department that takes care of collecting the cheques & depositing the same.

              On the other hand, even if my above issue gets resolved i don't think my Network issue is going to be resolved. I want to file complaint against MTNL - Mumbai for all the physical & mental stress i have been through for all the years since the time i applied for MTNL connection. I want MTNL Mumbai to compensate me TWICE the amount of the bills that i have paid till date along with interest at 10% & also apologise in writing for providing me bad network service.


              Can you help please?

              Respected Sir / Madam,

              I am still facing the network issue. I had called up at MTNL helpdesk on 1503 at 7:00am on 30-July-09 and i was informed by one your customer service executive that this case has been closed. I want to ask you why the case was closed when my problem is still not being rectified? I was asked to raise another complaint and was provided with new docket number. This is certainly NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE for a customer who has been loyal to MTNL by having its connection since past 4 years & paying all heavy usage bills on time. On 31st July 2009, i have again raised a complained (docket number - C[protected]

              I had not received my bill for the month of May - 2009 and i directly received the bill for June 2009 along with outstanding amount of May - 2009 in the month of July with due date 31-July-09. And worst thing happening to your loyal customer is that my Outgoing Calls service & SMS service were barred on 30-Jul-09 when the bill states that due date for paying my all outstanding bills was 31-July-09.

              Its real shame that MTNL does not value it's customer and has no concern in solving his issues. I can PROVE that MTNL Network received at my residence and at my work place is absolutely weak. My colleagues, friends have to try my number minimum of 5 to 6 times in order call me. Just for TEST at my residence i have tried many times calling on my mobile phone (kept besides my landline) through my MTNL landline and answer that i get to hear through MTNL's automated machine is "The Dolphin Customer you are trying to reach is out of coverage area, please try again later" and this makes situation more worst & frustrating.

              MTNL Dolphin does not provide a good network service and this would be proved if you take real 'Customer Satisfaction Survey' of all your MTNL Dolphin Customers. Unless a poor customer does not touch your feet you don't move even an inch. This is major reason why today private companies in India have been able to succeed because they give value to customer by providing them prompt & effective service. With such laid back attitude MTNL would never be able to compete with Telecom Companies like Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance & other telecom players.

              MTNL Dolphin has left me with no choice but to approach Honourable Consumer Court, TRAI, DOT.

              Its been more than 4 years i have been MTNL Dolphin Customer, but i am sorry to say i have always faced Network Coverage problems. I always face lot of network fluctuation problems at my residence & i do not receive any network coverage at my workplace. I feel MTNL Dolphin Tariff plans are also designed to fool the customers. Whichever plan i chose i end up paying almost the same bill amount like my previous plans. I have been a very heavy usage user & have also paid my bills regularly but till now i have not received any satisfactory service from Dolphin network nor the Customer Service Executives on 1503 & [protected], have ever been able to solve my network issue. Being loyal customer i have never received any additional benefits like special discounts on my bill for being mtnl mumbai dolphin customer for a long time but MTNL Mumbai always expects me to pay my bills on time even though MTNL Mumbai Dolphin has never been able to resovled my network problems.

              My current work place is CRISIL LIMITED, Unit 201, A - Wing, Kensingtoz SEZ Bldg, Hiranandani Business Park, Powai. I have lot of network issue at my work place. My network is always fluctuating or at times there is no network coverage on floor premises of my organisation. So i expect MTNL to solve my problem or refund my bill payments that i have made towards MTNL Mumbai Dolphin till date.

              I have now decided to approach honourable Consumer Court against MTNL Mumbai for not providing me the network coverage nor customer satisfaction service even after me paying my heavy usage bills regularly. I don't trust MTNL network anymore & i don't think the MTNL officials can resolve my network issue ever.


              FYI: The number is registered in name of my father Mr. Bhimrao Khambe

              MTNL Dolphin Mumbai — Wrong Delivery of Message

              Dear All,



              I Mr. Vimal Bharatkumar Pandya on behalf o[censored]ser Ms. Mamta Bharatlumar Pandya has lodge many complaint for faulty message delivery but the issue has not been resolved.



              There is something unique problem with my Dolphin No. [protected]

              Whenever i try to send any message to my friend from my phone book list, it automatically delivered to someone else. I get delivery report of various unknown numbers (including STD nos.) to whom i don't know..



              This is very serious problem due to following reasons:



              1. My personal message are getting delivered to unknown numbers.

              2. I am being charged by the company for every faulty message.

              3. This may be the case of Mobile Hacking for any illigal or unauthorised use.

                After 15days MTNL finally installed my connection. But there is heavy noise in the line.

                Lineman just installed the number on a bad Line.

                I bought Modem myself as MTNL failed to deliver the modem on time.

                but well now the Internet is also not working. there is no ADSL light in the modem.

                I am loosing 400rs per day because of this.

                That's true.I have booked wi-fi broadband connection of MTNL in April.Till date I have lodged 1000 complaints on 1504(customer care[protected]P.S to GM), but how the MTNL persons are working God knows, each and everyone is corrupt.My ADSL of broadband is not working at all.And no one is attending this complain.
                I was a subscriber to your combo plan o[censored]nlimited broadband plus landline phone( @ Rs 100 ). About two months back I requested your office to take away my connections which I don't need due to my personal problems. Your office at Shalimar Bagh accepted my application and noted the request through your computer and gave me a printed advice to submit all the instruments. I submitted all instruments connected with ADSL connection and also landline phone receiver to your office at KP block Pitam pura comlex.
                Now I don't have any landline or internet connection with me, still your deptt is sending me a bill No [protected] dated 13/08/2009 amounting to Rs 119.
                Please tell me what should I do with this bill for such a service which I have ceased to get benefit months ago.

                    My connection no.[protected]Delhi) I had stopped using the Broad Band services in Dec'08, but received a lrge amount bill for March'09. Made many complaints by email & fax, even upto CMD level.
                    No responsible attention paid.
                    My telephone No. 27682937 has no dial tone since thursday. My complaint No. 1839 of Friday Dated 24.12.09 yielded no results till date. I am mainly using tri band.
                    Please do the needful.
                    Sir/Madam,
                    The clip instrument for telephone no. 26348299 installed at House No. H-126, Block A, Ist Floor, Kilokari Village is faulty since last 5 months. The complaint is made at no. 198 and after a day or two the complaint is erased without sorting out the problem. The last complaint filed on 02.02.2010 is 1439. The answer is that no caller ID clip phone is in stock. It implies that the efficient service by MTNL is available for VIP customers only and indeed not for the general category.

                    Even after contacting MTNL-SDO Mr. Tyagi no recourse of replacing the old clip instrument was made.This is the reason why people are going for disconnection of MTNL -Landline telephones. Is there anybody to solve the problem.

                      I HAVE MTNL UNLIMITED BROADBAND CONNECTION. I PAY EVERY MONTH 700/ RS TO MTNL BUT I AM NOT ABLE TO USE NOT A SINGLE BIT OF IT.
                      I AM GIVING COMPLAINS TO CUSTOMER CARE FROM THE TIME I HAVE TAKEN CONNECTION BUT NO BODY HAS BOTHER TO TAKE CARE OF IT. I HAVE SPOKEN TO SEVERAL AREA MANAGER AND HAVE VISITED SANCHAR HAAT SEVERAL TIMES BUT THERE IS NO PROGRESS. ON EVERY THIRD DAY I REGISTER COMPLAIN ON THERE PHONE NO: SOME ONE CALL SAYS " SIR APKA INTERNET SAHI CHAL RAHA HAI" AND DO'NT BOTHER TO EVEN HEAR ISSUE.
                      THESE SORT OF SERVICE IS NOT AT ALL ACCEPTABLE. KINDLY GUIDE WHAT SHOULD I DO ACCEPT DISCONNECTING THE CONNECTION.

                        I have been registering complaints on Tel Nos 198 and 1504/1 almost every alternate day for the past 3 weeks regarding my 512kbps connection as under but the matter is still not resolved :
                        " the connection keeps dropping off and re-connecting as much as 20-30 times during the day.Some times
                        the reconnection is immediate or within a few minutes but at least 2-3 times in a day it takes 1-2 hours to reconnect. MTNL persons just make a telephone call asking whether the internet is connected and if at that moment it is on the close the complaint.
                        I am an Electrical Engineer and I know that this requires proper investigation of the incoming line, MDF, etc and measurement of Noise, attenuation and other parameters for which it seems MTNL either do not have the Equipment and Qualified Personal or are reluctant to take the trouble to do.

                        I fully agree with you as i have been facing this problem since FEB 09 and they have still not replaced the line which comes to my colony. Its always a usual excuse that it could be my router (which is new), filter (which is new), Ethernet card (which is new), Ultimately PC (i have tested it on my new laptop too) and i have replaced each and every item listed here. Their engineers have come innumerous times and i have visited MTNL, Marol, innumerous times with my issue of random disconnection, and called their help lines, 1504, 198 and registered innumerous complaints just like you. But they always seem to take it easy and come up with excuses like "Our line parameters are showing ok here" which today unfortunately their excuse fell flat on their faces as the ADSL light was blinking continuously and the engineer who visited me today atlast confirmed that it was a line induction or attenuation fault, bcos at the same time he had called his office to check the parameters and found them to be ok, indicating that there was some induction happening on the line somewhere on the way. Lets see till tomorrow what they do...but i am sure they are not going to replace the Old Lines (confirmed by themselves) coming in my house.

                          The phone no. mentioned above is not working from around last one month. I have complained regarding this matter on your recorder system. The last complaint no.1006 dated 21.07.2009 is still pending. This shows the negligency of line man on duty. Please look into this complaint and take strict action.

                            Initially on application I had requested for a night unlimited plan and assumed it was done as whenever I logged in to the mtnl account to check details of my account it would show night unlimited. Based on that we downloaded accordingly. 2 months later I get a 14000 bill stating we were on 200MB free only plan. When we took this matter to the exchange they made us produce the receipt and never in our wildest dreams had we doubted the person taking our application form but it was 200MB on the receipt. my online account now too shows 200MB. How am i to prove that we were misinformed? What can be done to resolve this? My landline is now disconnected due to this as we haven't paid the bill since the matter is not cleared. Besides don't MTNL have a credit limit which if it was effective none of these complaints would have arisen and lesser losses incurred

                              My telephone no. is 27550359, and CA no. is [protected]. My broadband connection was installed on 19.7.09, via wi-fi modem no. HG520. The signal is excellent, and the connectivity is there. But it has not been working since then. I have made repeated complaints on helpline no. 1504. My first complaint was on 20.7.09, and some of the complaint nos. are 8925, 2327, 8093. After that I have been daily making complaints on 1504.Everytime a customer care executive tells me to change this or that setting in the laptop. The broadband connections starts but for only few minutes. Everytime a site is to be opened, it shows “cannot find server’. Even if it starts, it is frequently disconnected after every few seconds.

                              I have once complained to the Area Manager, and after that to the GM on 27.7.09. Still the problem is there.

                              I had thought that MTNL service was the best for broadband, but may be I was wrong. If the broadband connection cannot be restored and the complaint cannot be rectified, then why should I be paying the charges.

                              Kindly take note of my complaint and take strict action at the earliest.

                                I am facing this problem from the past 4-5 months now. My account usage is having problems. I am not using the net still there is 5-6 MB's o[censored]sage shown. Once I opened a yahoo page and I was charged 3 MB's for that. MTNL Mumbai is charging, I hope for the upload also which is against what they have written on their website. They say that they charge only for download but the way i am billed I think I am charged for upload also. I think there is a software problem with my account which shows very high usage inspite of me opening just a sigle page in the browser. I have made repeated compaints to MTNL help desk through mail but they are all in vain as no one understands anything in MTNL. They revert back with a tel no which never gets connected and i am not able to put my complaints through. I have mailed them more than 10 times but they dont know how to reply. Their call centers do nothing in this. They say they are to help us but no help is awarded from them. They dont take complaints too. They also give us some no which never gets connected. My no is 26140122.

                                I hope complaining here will give me some proper response or I need to send this mail to TRAI and DOT.

                                  I have landline telephone connection of MTNL bearing No.24312544. I have taken boroadband facility on same number. My average bill of MTNL phone with borad band facility is Rs.900/-, . But when I got last bill of june.06, i was shocked, The bill is of Rs.2466/-. which is 3 times of the average monthly bill. From the bill it seems that Rs.1489/- is extra charged towards boroadband usage. Since my boroadband usage is very limited, which comes in within Rs.199/-. As per rule I have paid the bill of Rs.2466/-,

                                  You are requested to look into the matter immediately and refund/adjust my money which is extracharged by MTNL in future bills.
