Dear Sir,
I have booked a hotel reservation of Hotel Mahadev Resort, Manali on 26th May, 2017 for the date of 15th and 16th June, 2017 by makemytrip.com. On 13th June in the evening I automatically got a message that my hotel booking is cancelled. But I have not cancelled the booking. I called to Hotelier ( Mr Pawan Thakur [protected] as per MMT Voucher ) but his phone was switch off. Then I talked to MMT customer care, they told me no need to worry, they will found solution within 24 hours. I also asked for IP addresses from which the booking was cancelled. Then from net I got number of Hotel, when I called to hotel manager, I was surprised. He told me that this year hotel hasn’t any tie-up with makemytrip.com. Hotel manager also told me that they had tie-up with Mr. Pawan Thakur last year but this year from April, they haven’t any tie-up either with Mr. Pawan Tahkur or with Makemytrip.com. I had no option. I was waiting for the solution by MMT side. But I have not received any solution even after 48 hours.
I reached to Manali on 15th June morning. When I reached to Hotel Mahadev Resort, present manager Mr. Chitra Thakur ( Mobile [protected]) told me that they cannot give room to us. He also told to me that this year Hotel Mahadev hasn’t any tie-up with Mr. Pawan Thakur and makemytrip.com. (I also have audio conversation recording, written acceptance by manager as evidence of cheating ) . Then at end movement I had two options either spent night on road with family of booked another Hotel at very high cost, coz no other option was remain.
On 16th afternoon I got a call from Ms. Melanie Ann Kerr, MMT Customer Delight Team. I explained all the matter to her. Also I shared audio conversation recording, written acceptance by manager as evidence with Ms. Melanie Ann Kerr. She told me that she will found a solution of this case.
MMT ruined all my holidays and peace.
After the unlimited massages, whatsapp chats, e-mail and around 10 hours conversation with MMT. I got this mail on 3rd July, 2017.
“Dear Sir,
Thank you for your cooperation & patience,
With reference to your case, post checks done internally with my contracting team & hotelier informed us there is no such commitments made regarding no tie-up with MMT.If you are handy with any call recording do share the same as of now I have already informed the booking cancellation IP address did not belong to MMT hence please lodge an FIR at cybercrime cell for booking cancellation made externally from another party.

Response from Hotel/Contract team :-
Had word with hotelier Pawan Sharma ([protected]).
He has contract with MMT.
Also we do not have any access to check that from where the booking got cancelled.

I was surprised that I live in Kota, and IP provide by MMT belongs to Gurgaon. ( For your kind knowledge MMT corporate office also belongs to Gurgaon )
When I tried to talk Ms. Melanie Ann Kerr, She didn’t received my call even after calling approx 50 times. After many conversation Ultimately she received the call and told me “Do whatever you want”.
Note: Those who want to complained against MMT can share contact number to discus legal options against MMT.
