Hello:

To my extreme un-satisfaction and disgust I regret to inform that the cash back amount of Rs.2500 in my e-Wallet has been expired due to wrong information provided by Make My Trip. I had to use this amount by 21st Oct and I was suppose to use it today. To my surprise MMT has gone ahead and already expired the un-used amount exactly at 12AM IST on 21st of Oct. To my understanding today, 21st of Oct is the last date to use this amount which is 12AM IST till 12PM IST. Then how come MMT has expired this amount from my wallet.

The agent said that the amount got expired at 12AM on 21st Oct. So why this specific information is not provided on my e-wallet account. I will make that this unprofessional attitude of MMT is known to people and their way of disguising there customers should be made public.

Will take appropriate steps on this. Also you have lost a repeat customer for future business.

    Sir, this is y apparao made some transctions on 12th october 2016. Three successful transctions. But the trx amount rs19854 is failed. I didnt get refund yet to my creditcard account. The same thing informed to sbi cr card office. They adviced me to approach u. They gave trx id 1628700 & [protected]. So please look into the matter. Refund the same to my account. Thank you sir.

      I was booked my bus ticked journey date 29-oct - 2016 from jaipur to kanpur,
      Through makemytrip.com
      Today they canceled my ticket with reason that, "bus is canceled". I was booked with rs. 700 but today due to diwali festival charges goes beyond rs.1500, so they make this reason and no alternative provide me.

      I am very disturbed so please help me.

      I had tried to book a ticket through make my trip..But unfortunately my transaction got failed . but the refund credited to make my trip wallet . which is not as per my requirement. i tried from past 26 days make my trip customer care . i did NT get proper reply from them.         I had booked a ticket to trivandrum and back, for 3 members. Out of which i had to cancel for one member.

        On calling makemytrip i was informed that i need to cancel it from the airline and was made to speak to the airline. After are ordeal of more than an hour i finally got one ticket cancelled. The airline told me that the ticketing agent (Makemytrip) would provide me the refund.

        The cancellation was done in august16 and i did not get any refund from makemytrip till oct16. On calling my my trip i was told that the cancellation after being done by the airline also needs to be done from makemytrip. This information was given by the call centre and then they made me wait for the cancellation process for over 30 mins and got my call disconnected.

        Hope they can be taken to task as they are a thug company and try every way of cheating a customer.

          I had to travel from dharmasthali to bangalore as on 13th oct 2016 but operator canceled the service. i am not sure

          I did not get any mail or sms to my phone. so i reached the dist nation

          Where i had to catch the bus. they the phone number you provided by you

          Not responded. today i have just return from journey. as a bus ticked agent.

          Please help me to get refund. i will procede legal action against subhramnaya travels and general travels

          Please provides the all details for file the case as agent (i have right to get incormation). who will paid insurances charges.

          I will post my bad my experiences in social media. how the make my tip tam engage the worst travelers.

            My self, sai kumar perrungallam, residing in doha.

            I am sending this note to you as i have faced some issues with your site and would like to complain about the same, i hope you take up this and respond at the earliest to keep your (Makemytrip) business name good and to show that you are customer centric.

            Today morning i tried to book an intl. Flight ticket through your site, detail as mentioned below

            Round trip from: doha, qatar to: hyderabad, india

            Date of onward journey: 14 dec 2016

            Return on: 30 dec 2016

            2 adults & 1 child

            When i searched these criteria in your site, i have got the results for oman airways as below

            · 14 dec 2016 @ 21:35 from doha and reaches hyderabad on 15 dec 2016 @ 06:10 (Transit @ muscat)

            · 30 dec 2016 @ 15:20 from hyd which reaches doha on 30 dec 2016 20:35 (Transit @ muscat)

            The price you offered when i was booking is inr 61000 (Some hundreds) – for all 3 pax, round trip, i mentioned above

            When i clicked on book, you have also showed me one message – ‘rechecking the availability’

            Then your site asked me to enter all passenger details (Name, date of birth, passport number, passport expiry date) – while on this page, you are still showing the same price of rs. 61000 on your screen.

            After entering all that details and clicked on make payment – your site returned saying ‘oops, the seats you are trying to book are sold out…etc.’ and returned me to the search results again

            Now, i selected the same flight details and clicked on book – this time your site offered a price of inr 63000 for the same pax and round trip

            I was still fine with the price and continued, again when i clicked on make payment – same thing happened – i didn’t get the tickets booked for the prices you are quoting and it showing ‘oops, the seats are sold out’

            I have below complaints on your site now:

            1. You (Makemytrip) are making us fool by displaying low fares

            2. You have nicely captured my personal details (Like dob, passport number, mobile number, email id, my journey plan…etc.) showing that low fare

            3. You are unable to provide the ticket for the prices you offered

            4. When the tickets are sold out why did you show them in results – you also reconfirmed the availability when i clicked on book (Which means the tickets are available but you are showing incorrect prices, which you cannot offer for)

            5. When i spoke to your online chat agent on this – they are complaining it happens with oman airways – i don’t understand why you are complaining the airlines? Because i searched with oman airlines site at the same time and the prices they are quoting has a difference of rs. 15000 from what you are offering – which in fact is almost in line with other flight booking sites

            I want a proper explanation for each concern i raised above and i demand apologies for wasting my time & penalty charges from your site as you captured my personal details by attracting with /displaying incorrect prices (Low fares) which you could never offer.

              I had booked a flight ticket through Make My trip application, but due to the seats being filled, the booking did not happen and also, the same amount was moved to My Wallet. I have requested for a refund to my bank account, but the team is not ready to do so and the reason they give is some technical issue. The amount of Rs10472 is lying in wallet without any use to me for last 11 days. every time an executive reaches me, they tell me that they will give another update in next 24 hours. But I do not see any valid information being provided to me.

                This is to bring to your notice that I, pritisha chakraborty, had made a to and fro flight booking from Kolkata to Seoul on 11th October, 2016 through make my trip App. I didn't receive any booking against the same and my money got deducted from my account.I had reported to the customer service before but no refund has yet been inititated .                   I booked a ticket from Pune to Delhi on 18/05/2016, with refrence no.: NF[protected]C01.The amount 5634 was deducted from my bank account but the ticket wasn't booked .I lodged a complaint about this quiet a lot times and was awaiting for the refund but I haven't received the refund till date

                    Dear Makemytrip,

                    I had made bookings for 2 nights at this hotel from Makemytrip (30th Sep - 2nd Oct) from two different ID's but was allowed to check in only for the first night (30th Sep till 1st Oct). Keys Hotel, Kochi flatly refused to acknowledge the second night booking. I had to instantly request my cousin, Mr. Gagan Singhal to book one more night through Goibibo cause we couldn't trust Makemytrip with bookings again. I am still to get the refund of my money from makemytrip for the 2nd night. Makemytrip customer service has been aweful as of now.

                    I had emailed you about my issues the very next day i.e.3rd October, 2016 but didn't get any co-operative response. I was away for the festival holidays with my family. I was in Ladakh and there wasn't any mobile connections available (which you must be knowing) because of the security issues.

                    When I returned back, I called your customer service team and one of your executive named Mr. Varun Sharma received my response. He didn't seem to help me at all but when I forced him to look into my matter, he very reluctantly asked me to forward him the complaint mail that I have sent you on 3rd October. He promised me to get back to me within 24 hours. It has been 5 days now and I am yet to hear it from him.

                    I would appreciate if you stop indulging in such malpractices and try and help out you customers.

                    I would request you to call me back immediately on[protected] to resolve my issue.

                      I have cancelled flights booked for my family members after talking to makemytrip customer care team and booked a different airline to Duabi as it was a better option for us. Tickets costed me 67000 INR and after the cancellation charges I was supposed to get 51000 INR as per the cancellation policy page. I was told refund would be processed within few working days but later that day I got another call from makemytrip customer care team that the ticket can’t be refunded as the airline doesn’t allow that but I can book a future flight in same airline but would be given only half the amount I spent for the tickets. This was not the information I was given by makemytrip customer care team when I called them for cancellation and I was promised a refund to bank account. I had to call the customer care team again and report this and they raised a call trace request against the first associate who promised me a refund and I have sent them the screenshot of refund confirmation page when I cancelled the tickets. As I didn’t get a call back from customer care team, I called them again after three days and they admitted the fault from their customer care executive but gave me only option of half refund. I didn’t agree for that and escalated the case to the next level which didn’t help and the ticket now lies with top level escalation team of makemytrip- Kajal Devi from makemytrip customer delight team. When a ticket gets escalated to the top level in any company, you get a proper response to your mails. But my experience was worst. Mss. Kajal called me two days after the ticket got assigned to her and said an investigation is being carried out and I would get a response in 48 working hours but there was no response for many days and I kept on calling the makemytrip customer care team but they wash their hand saying they can’t touch the ticket as it now lies with top level management and promise me they mail them and I will get a call back from customer delight team member. After sending many mails, Mss. Kajal called me on Sep 21st and said they have almost made a decision for refund promised in cancellation page and I would get a positive news on next Monday(which was 26th sep). But after that there was no calls or mails from Kajal or any of their team members. I have called customer few time even after that and after I called them last time on last Thursday (6th October) and informed I am going to move legally, I got a call back from customer care supervisor and requested for 48 hour more but same story again.
                      I was forced to post this story in social media by makemytrip customer delight team as I felt like they have been tricking me all these days. It’s been close to two months I did the cancellation and there is no refund for tickets yet.

                        Very bad experience with make my trip. I have booked 4 tickets for duronto express on 21/9 (HYDERABAD to VISHAKAPATNAM ) and travel date was 24/Sep which costed me Rs.8840.76 including all the taxes.
                        On 22/Sep I have cancelled one ticket through call and customer care executive told one ticket would be Rs.2210 and i would be getting only Rs.1960 that will be reflected back in your account in 7 days but i didn't receive a penny till 14/Sep.
                        So I have called again on 14 October and the executive by name Anchal has told me the amount would be refunded with in 14 days citing the reason as bank cycle. I was not satisfied with her answer and have requested her to transfer the call to a senior executive for which she replied saying that make my trip would be calling back with in 2 hrs.
                        I have waited for some time and again called back to the customer care this time the customer executive says Rs.210 has been processed to your account and the remaining amount(Rs.1750) will be processed to your account with in 3 to 5 working days. So i Have asked him why are your processing the refund amount 2 times. He replied back saying that is a technical issue . So I have asked him to transfer the call again to a senior executive he replied back saying that the executives are busy and if there is any another issue he could help me with.
                        I'm also been charging with credit interest already. I am thinking to take this action legally, and complaining this to make my trip.

                            I have been a very loyal customer to make my trip and it was a big shock for me to see that they have changed my booking date.now when im asking them to change my date cos it wasnt my mistake but systems mistake that it did show 7 th nov 2016 to me and it booked 7 th dec 2016. now for date change they are asking me to pay arouns 2250 and 300 for convienience fee and air fare rates would be separate. such a good way of taking money from peoples pocket. a big round of applause for you guys who is not even ready to help inspite of calling so many times. i had booked round trip and they have goofed up by changing the month from 7 th nov 2016 to 7 th dec 2016 . it is so not cool. I WILL NEVER BOOK FROM MAKE MY TRIP EVER AGAIN IN FUTURE AND WOULD LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE A BIG FRAUD . it is completely your systems fault and i have read all the complaints above and others have faced same problem as i have so it clearly indicates that there is some problem with the system. belive it or not but bad mouth will affect your business. even when im calling them they are saying manager is not on the floor, call later, i mean should you not keep one manager on the floor in shifts. why do you guys say then 24/7 service.

                              We planned our trip to mt.abu, udaipur and jaipur. Our booking id is IN1609B6S1850882. The road travel, hotel accomodation and unlimited breakfast was includee in the package. While moving from udaipur airport to mt.abu the driver included his bill in ours and asked us to pay for it. When we contacted the driver's vendor he said you pay for this time and ill explain the driver not to do this in future!!!
                              Further in each and every hotel we were always served the breakfast late, thus we ended up missing spots else covered the spots in hurry.
                              When we reached the hotel in jaipur named "grande residency" the hotel condition was pathetic. When asked to clean the room the hotel cleaners said its done by the morning cleaners so we wont clean it now. There were hair in the bathroom, the floors were untidy, there were some insects on the bed and bedsheets had some spots i dont know of what!!!
                              Next day we asked the customer co-ordinator to change our hotel as they were not cleaning the hotel, she asked us to find a hotel for ourself and move in to it. She said you have to pay for the new hotel you move in and ask the current hotel managers about the refund policy. She saif if we get refund will pay you otherwise we cant. Wheb we saw the price of the hotel it was Rs.850-900/day. Obviously the rooms were as per the standard of 800/day.
                              When I asked the customer co-ordinator about how can you give us such hotel she said we give hotels by seeing the review on internet.we do not actually go to the hotel and see!!! She asked us to find hotel for ourself, now we went to jaipur for seeing places and not searching hotels!!!
                              Now the worst part, since we missed few spots we asked the driver to take us to chowki dhani, he said to give rs.800 for the same. So we ended up paying money beyond the package.
                              Pathetic service and worst customer care.
                              Will neither choose makemytrip for travelling nor would I advise anyone.
                              Everything was disguisting.
                              The customer care also hanged up the call when we asked them to help us out.
                              Never never ever plan through makemytrip it will be a worst experince you have.

                                You booked a flight for four o[censored]s to jamaica kingston booking in1609b6s1867952 stating that there wont be visa required for the given flight
                                But one of the passenger was not allowed to board the flight from mumbai airport and now i need the refund of the same from your company or resedule of the booking for tara prasad teli. Its not a small amount im sure you will agree to this as its a hard earned money and please next time check before you do this to anyone i am really upset with such people who dont have proper information and eork for such huge companies
                                Also our curacao to kingston flight got cancelled and no one is there to look after it we are sitting in the airport since last 7hrs and now we come to know that next flight is after 3 days i am going to ask people not to book tickets from make my trip because there job is to collect money from people and not give any service.
                                If you are not going to look into this matter i have to take a big step against your company.

                                  This is regarding reference number[protected] Opened on Aug 29th 2016 for the refund of four tickets from Kochi to Sharjah. I have cancelled flights booked for my family members after talking to makemytrip customer care team and booked a different airline to Duabi as it was a better option for us. Tickets costed me 67000 INR and after the cancellation charges I was supposed to get 51000 INR as per the cancellation policy page. I was told refund would be processed within few working days but later that day I got another call from makemytrip customer care team that the ticket can’t be refunded as the airline doesn’t allow that but I can book a future flight in same airline but would be given only half the amount I spent for the tickets. This was not the information I was given by makemytrip customer care team when I called them for cancellation and I was promised a refund to bank account. I had to call the customer care team again and report this and they raised a call trace request against the first associate who promised me a refund and I have sent them the screenshot of refund confirmation page when I cancelled the tickets. As I didn’t get a call back from customer care team, I called them again after three days and they admitted the fault from their customer care executive but gave me only option of half refund. I didn’t agree for that and escalated the case to the next level which didn’t help and the ticket now lies with top level escalation team of makemytrip- Kajal Devi from makemytrip customer delight team. When a ticket gets escalated to the top level in any company, you get a proper response to your mails. But my experience was worst. Mss. Kajal called me two days after the ticket got assigned to her and said an investigation is being carried out and I would get a response in 48 working hours but there was no response for many days and I kept on calling the makemytrip customer care team but they wash their hand saying they can’t touch the ticket as it now lies with top level management and promise me they mail them and I will get a call back from customer delight team member. After sending many mails, Mss. Kajal called me on Sep 21st and said they have almost made a decision for refund promised in cancellation page and I would get a positive news on next Monday(which was 26th sep). But after that there was no calls or mails from Kajal or any of their team members. I have called customer few time even after that and after I called them last time on last Thursday (6th October) and informed I am going to move legally, I got a call back from customer care supervisor and requested for 48 hour more but same story again.
                                  I was forced to post this story in social media by makemytrip customer delight team as I felt like they have been tricking me all these days. It’s been close to two months I did the cancellation and there is no refund for tickets yet.

                                    I had booked two airline tickets from delhi to kochi and back for dates 19th october'16 and 23 october '16 respectively on 28th august '16 for 26220/-
                                    I had to cancel the same tickets because of change in travel plans.. On 4th october.. I opened makemytrip website for cancellation... The amount shown to me after cancellation was 25558/-... I thought to 672/- are being charged as penalty... I simply cancelled the flight... I have the screenshot of same... Next day, i get an email about refund in which only 2926/- are being processed for refund... I mailed the makemytrip team... There team called me... I registered my query... I was told... My issue would be resolved in 24hrs... But... It is almost in 48hrs... No response to my mails...

                                      I had book my tickets through hdfc credit card on 31/07/2016 telephonically through your call centre and the booking person was maninder, i was offered rs. 8000/- (4000*2) cash back for using hdfc credit card.

                                      Hope concern person will look into the matter urgently and i will receive the said amount to my, make my trip wallet immediately.

                                        Please let your bosses be aware I am totally disgusted with your service and listing of poor mediocre hotel the pictures shown on the website and when you visit the place is totally different.

                                        The place stinks( Fab Hotel - Anjuna Beach) of ALCOHAL AND WEED, there was HUMAN [censored] ON THE ENTRANCE OF THE RECEPTION... TOTALLY DIRTY AND DISGUSTING.. I HAVE TAKEN PICTURE OF THE PLACE JUST TO PUT IT ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA.

                                        After speaking to many of your Agents, namely Danish, Amit and a Prateeksha with number of calls to Make My Trip we were shifted to calangute to Hotel La Flamingo.
                                        Since we were too shocked and tired to react and hence took up what you offered in place of Anjuna beach Fab hotel we checked in at la flamingo jut a note to tell you the hotel still not ready and fully functional as work and paint job are still going on we have to change rooms due to constant noise as workers working all day.

                                        The best part is that we paid 9063 for 3 days of stay in the Anjuna beach Resort however when we were shifted we were put at La Flamingo where room charges were 463 per day on discount at your website.

                                        I have taken screen shots of your website with the details to prove the same and we had told this to Amit your customer service Agent who promised to get back to us about refund of the rest of my money.

                                        You cannot cheat me like this... Let your bosses know that I want my REFUND
