home shifting service - advance amount not refunded

I had booked movers & packers service from nobroker. One of the executive (Neha dubey) had approached me for availing nobroker service. After many calls i had agree to avail the services based on the promise neha dubey had given. Based on the confirmation, i was supposed to pay the token amount to confirm the service. I was shared a payment link which i followed and made the advance token amount. My shifting was scheduled on may 29, 2020...

I paid my sister's rent through Nobroker on June 1 through her Nobroker account and my credit card. Nobroker have requested for rental agreement on her email address and SMS. But she's admitted at a hospital and couldn't act on the email and SMS within the 4-5 days buffer Nobroker had provided.

The moment I got an email about refund after 1% transacting charges and 2% deducted as penalty (since my credit card was used) we had checked her email account and sent the valid and authenticated rental agreement to their email box.

They are still refusing the refund of the penalty charges as we were a few hours late to respond. And they have charged me appprox Rs.970/- as a penalty for the rent payment worth Rs.32000/- and the customer care team is outright rude and unhelpful when asking about the charges.

They are not ready to consider even the health condition of the account holder as a reason for a couple of hours of delay even during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown situation. Really bad experience. Not sure if I am likely to continue using their rent payment portal again.

Is there any way I can reach a supervisor team or someone who can validate the rental agreement and issue the refund of Rs. 970/- as an exceptional case considering the health of the account holder. The delay was only a couple of hours to send the agreement from our end.

Please help.

    When i called movers & packers for shifting my luggage on 1st june, they booked me on 7th june and asked me to pay rs. 900 in advance but i paid but call me on 6th june and your booking will be on 11th june. I said that and your money will increase to 7 thousand and i also agreed but on 9th june i called myself and then i got a call from no broker that your shift on 11th will be on 14th now... I will use no broker's service i'm very upset.. If you don't have workers available then don't take bookings and don't bother people you were just free to say sorry... Very bad service no broker i will never deal with this company again.. My money give me back

      I got enrolled into nobroker.
      I transfered them the money and activated my account on nobroker.com, after 3 days they called me and said, that they cannot search any tenants for my property and told that within 3 days i would get my refund.
      Now its over 6 months, still not got my refund.
      NoBroker customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      Thanks for making me not to trap in hard earned money.

        Hello

        I had activated owner money back plan from nobroker of rs 7, 668.82 on 9th march 2020 which was a 60 day plan. Nobroker failed to provide tenant so ideally they should have initiated refund process on 9th may. However today as in 7 june, its almost a month after expiration of the plan and still they haven’t notified on when i will receive my money back.
        Also the relationship manager is not replying with any updates he just says he has raised the concern team and not sure when they will revert. I have dropped number of mails and calls but no one is assuring on the pay back. They dont even provide any escalation team contact.
        Its quite annoying and causing lot of inconvenience. Also when the plan was not bought i received around 10 calls daily to activate, now they are not even replying to mails. This was not expected. Nobroker has just given disappointment.

            I had very bad experience with no brokers packers and movers shift services.

            I have made an advance payment of rs 1410/- for shifting my home on 27-may-2020 and the scheduled on 01-jun-2020. After making advance, i followed them frequently and i got reply that you will be assigned with manager. But, no manager contacted me till afternoon on 01-jun.             Hi,

            From last two month i have been following up with the customer care regarding return of rented item (Refrigerator) as i moved to different location.

            When ever i call to customer care, the response from the support is, within 24 to 48 hours you get a call regarding this.

            But till date i have not received any call. Today is my last date in bangalore & i stay here in a rented house, will leave that house today. So i put this refrigerator here & after that i'm not responsible for any damage & misuse of this item. Also please stop this emi & return my advance amount.

            Can some one act regarding this. Its been a worst experience with the nobroker & rentickle.
            At-least respond to the customer queries and treat them properly.

              I was looking for rental agreement for my house in chennai and got in touch with nobroker. It’s been 15 days i have paid the amount they requested but after that there has been no update to the query.
              Forget about the resolution of my issue they are not even responding to the emails.
              They promised rent agreement will be sent in 3-4 days. My tenant has been waiting for the same and now threatening to vacate the house. This is really irresponsible behaviour by these people.

                Paid rent using their app paying 1% extra. Now they are accusing me of a fraudulent transaction and threatening to refund the amount with penalty of 2% if rental agreement is not uploaded within specified time.
                I need either complete refund or payment to be credited to landlords account.

                  Hi team,

                  Very very disappointed with nobroker app.

                  I have not received my money. My tenant is asking to upload rental agreement on the app.

                  He has made a payment to me worth rs. 50500/- now there xecutive is telling that we need rental agreement.

                  We don"t have rental agreement and for refund also they are asking for 2% penalty charges.

                  I am suffering from liquidity crunch and they have put my payment on hold and charging unnecessary penalties.

                  Please take strict action against nobroker.

                  I just want either process my money in the bank account or refund it to cardholder without charges otherwise i am going to complaint against you in the forum for my loss.

                  Their executive is telling me you should go through the terms and condition let me clear it I have not accepted any terms and conditions at the time of payment. There display shows that they will transfer the rental amount instantly without any further verification.

                      I was paying the rent of rs.30000 to my owner account through nobroker from past 6 months, when i try to make payment in this month the payment was successful. But, the payment was put on hold and later on they sent below email:

                      “we have put your may's rent payment of rs.30, 000/- with reference no - nrp-1162606 on hold because our systems have detected it as a suspicious transaction that you might be making to your own / close associates bank account. Please send us a duly stamped valid copy of your rental agreement with rent amount and landlord name as mentioned by you for this transaction on or before 25/05/2020”.

                      They are saying that if rent agreement is not produced 2% of the amount will be deducted as penalty. They have already taken 1% as processing charges total 3%. They are taking the amount of the customer, without the purpose of the customer is not solved. If the rent agreement is required they would ask at the time of registration only.

                      They are telling that i will take 5 to 7 working days to refund the amount, still after deducting 3% i. E. Rs.900/-.
                      If they think of suspicious transaction, they should do complete reversal of transaction. But they will smartly deduct all possible fee and give you rest of the money.

                          Nobroker website is doing fraudulent activities, i transferred my rent using this website to my owner and later on they sent below email:

                          We have put your may's rent payment of inr 10000 with reference no - nrp-1386888 on hold because our systems have detected it as a suspicious transaction that you might be making to your own / close associates bank account. Please send us a duly stamped valid copy of your rental agreement with rent amount and landlord name as mentioned by you for this transaction on or before 21/05/2020.

                          Why these people are not asking for rent agreement before the rent is even paid. They just want to charge customer of wrong charges and make money.

                          If they think of suspicious transaction, they should do complete reversal of transaction. But they will smartly deduct all possible fee and give you rest of the moeny. They have good name in frauds among india.

                          The deduction only happens when the transaction is marked suspicious as per the system and the payee is unable to give a valid rental agreement. If in case you are facing any issue please share your details we would want to help you with the same.
                          If there anything like this kind of ### terms and conditions u should have mentioned it earlier itself as without rental agreement the transaction can be processed that could be fair enough to use ur ### pathole service fraudsters i[censored] ask a RA from no where where should we bring it u asholes you have ### up my money if you can't provide the service there itslef refund the total amount with service charges do u think we are getting money from trees I curse you from my deep heart you will ### in coming days that's for sure
                          Same happened to me. Why they r not asking rental agreement upfront, charging transaction charges and not refunded saying suspicious transactions.

                            Guys whoever see this plz don't ever trust this company, they are the biggest fraud on internet.
                            First they take the money on the name of pay rent using credit card feature, then they don't transfer money to owner account,
                            Put money on hold and ask for rental agreement (Mind you they don't ask for any agreement when they take your money).
                            They when you call them they say they will refund but charge 2% of your total money without ever providing any service. Guys plz tell me how is it fair?? If you need to pay rent using credit card, there are better more trusted options available. Use cred application on mobile (Download from playstore). I lost my money don't lose yours.

                              Complaint of not responding and not refunding amount.

                              My name is ravikiran k s & i have registered with no broker with mobile no. I have made a booking for packers & movers based on the promise from your executive team that on cancelation the booking amount will be refunded back to my bank account.

                              I have been following up with no broker customer care executives on the phone number[protected], i have called many times and got response saying cancellation taken and concerned team will get back to me. But no one turned up to calling me back or reembursed the money.

                              I'm not understanding what's happening here, when the no broker team wanted me to book a slot in advance because of covid 19 called me like 100 times to get me book the slot and promised me of refund if cancelled and now, when i want to cancel there is no proper response only and instead i was made to follow up you guys like anything and calling you guys lot of time to get my money back. Customer care guys make false promises to convince and get people to book, this is not fair.

                                I registered for relax plan in february 2020 for a rental property in bangalore however due to lockdown declaration i had to come back to my native place and had requested my rm to hold the service till lockdown is lifted because till that time i cannot travel to see this property. Whatever leads my rm has ben sending me till then 95percent of them were not matching my requirements either. Now when i tried to check property through app i saw my plan has expired and while trying to reach out to the rm he is not reachable. So, precisely my money and time is wasted because nobroker wants customers to break rules of lockdown and check properties else forget about the money or service.

                                  No broker took an advance amount through our account registered with mobile number - [protected] for shifting services.
                                  However, they reverted confirming they will not be able to provide the service on the initial committed date.

                                    On 24th april 2020 i have transferred my rent partial amount for rs. 55, 550/- to landlord account.. By evening i got message from no broker stating that your transaction seems to be not genuine.. Further to process rent advance i have to share my rental agreement within 27th april or they will deduct 2% and will refund the amount. It is not yet all fare. While processing my rent advance they have taken processing fees rs. 550/- & they have not process the rent advance to landlord account. How come they will again deduct 2%.

                                    On 24th april 20 i had replied to no broker and mentioned that it is partial rent advance and not yet made the rental agreement. & also i am stucked in my native.

                                    Further 25th april 2020 i have got a message stating that your refund request processed with deduction of 2% additional amount.

                                    I have decided to take this issue to consumer court at the earliest.

                                    They are fraud company. This is the new way of making money and fraud
