Hi there

Please stop/deactivate one assist plan. You deduct amount of rs 1399 from my ICICI bank account for renewal next year. I am not interested to take this facility provide you & you deduct the sum without take any approval from me.Request you to return my money ASAP.

    I had bought this insurance for my iphone 7 in may 2017. The first year of insurance of my phone id paid 5500 for the insurance, and made no claims (As there were no damages). The 2nd year i paid 3500 approx to extend my insurance.in september 2018, my phone fell from my hand when i was walking home from the gym as someone pushed me by mistake from the back and the screen crashed. They accepted my claim, and sorted my phone out also charged a processing fee of 2800. After 6 months, in the same spot outside my house this same incident happened. (Ther road outside my house is a bit crowded sometimes) but when i tried to claim insurance they rejected it saying the cause of damage can not be the same for them to accept the claim. I want to understand that something as basic as walking on the street being pushed by someone/ someone brushing against you while walking can surely happen twice in a span of 6 months in a city as crowded as kolkata. Does this company expect me to make up a reason instead of being honest. Also i would like to note that the reasons given both the times were not word to word copy pasted (I wasn’t even aware of the last claim cause written, the company’s agent read out to me) this is so outrageous, i’ve paid a sum of 12000 to the insurance agent in a span of 1.8 years, with no claim in the first year and only one in the 2nd year. How can they question my genuinety. I would definitely like to point out that i will never ever buy one assist insurance after this episode, and infact the mental harassment caused because of this is inhuman. It’s not that i cannot afford another phone, or that i have demanded a phone replacement. But the reason one buys this insurance is to make life easier, and that in the back of one’s mind one feels secured. But this has left a bad taste. This company expects one to lie. I cannot help it if my phone fell from my hand while walk from my gym back home twice. And when i was buying this insurance they painted such a lovely picture saying hassle free claims, and never pointed this out. Nowhere in the terms and conditions also this is written that the cause of damage can not be the same.
    I would request you to take this case forward, and make sure the future customers don’t face such issues.

    After submitting the above complaint on ur website i got a call from one assist saying that they will try to look into the matter. It’s been 3 weeks and i’ve yet not got any revert. This is very disheartening and i don’t think i would ever buy insurance from this company again.

      Hello,

      I had claimed my phone's screen in insurance and they had got the approval for approximately rs. 20, 000.
      When the phone came back, which they took 1.5 months for, the screen was not working properly.

      I had complained within the 48 hours timeline that they have (Which is quite unreasonable a deadline to have, since one needs time to check their device).

      I had been keeping busy and they do not give alternate phones, even though their sales executive will promise you the same when selling you the insurance, therefore i could not give the phone on time for the return, and was unreachable on phone for a day or two and they closed my request.

      On requesting to open the complaint they denied.

      Therefore, i went to apple authorized store, where they told me the screen that they have used is duplicate and i will have to pay an extra charge for replacement.

      Therefore, i enquired about authorized stores related to oneassist, it came out that there is only one store that oneassist has authorized, which is authorized by none of the brands, but by itself, where it uses fake and duplicate products, and earns a big margin there as well, from the money that gets sanctioned to them by the insurance companies.

      Therefore, oneassist violates the basic principle of insurance, which is getting the person where he was before the accident. Because they remove genuine products and put in fake products (So-called authorized by oneassist itself).

      P. S i have the bill and receipt and mail conversations as a proof for everything i am claiming above.
      Also, qarmatek is the name of the dummy company, which they have authorized, the phone number of which will never be reachable or will never be picked.

        I Received SMS from HDFC BANK that RS-1399/- deducted from my credit card to ONE ASSIST PLAN without my consent. This is truly unethical and the plan should be deactivated at the earliest.

          2-3 days ago I got a call from oneassist assistant stating that he is calling me from ICICI bank regarding any insurance policy.I just heard and today on 4th of April they straight away took off Rs 1899/- from my ICICI Bank account.Isnt it unprofessional that without customer permission, how can you directly take off money from anybody's account...This is pathetic...I feel to file a case against you, disgusting...I need my refund back immediately.

I m continuously calling to cancel the service and refund the money, but they are not cancelling the servicing.

              I have applied for wallet assist renewal cancelation in[protected], held a call with one assistant customer care, they told me your we have processed the cancelation request but 899 rupees will debited from your credit card and the amount well be deposited 20 days after. But today i got mail from one assistant as per the renewal notification in that mail they mentioned amount 1899 rupees.
              I dont have any trust about one assistant refund related or my cancelation.
              So please cancel my renewal i dont take any amounts from my cards

                By mistake that plan was added to my a/c last year and charged for membership but i have not provided any a/c and card no's to them. This year also they charged for membership balance. I dont want to continue with this plan. Renovation is not necessary. Kindly do the needful.

                    I have claimed for a change of my display but its been 2 months i have claimed my request but still haven't got any responce after several attempts of contacting them. My insurance period will be over this month so please resolve this matter orelse i need to take legal steps. Now they are telling me to do it myself from the service center and when i have updated their app i cant chat with the support cause it says technical problem and its been like more than a month they are facing this technical problem.

                            I had raised a request on 8th march, and the documents i sent got verified on 12th march, after their consistent request for mailing more and more details and pictures of the issue. After the device was picked up on 15th and repair estimate of rupees 34, 665 was made, they said the claim covered the costs and the repairs would be made within a week. After that it took them 2 weeks to "access the parts" and "make repairs", and my laptop was delivered on 29th march. Surprisingly to me the problems persisted and the malfunctioning had gone from bad to worse. Nothing was repaired and i had to suffer without an important object which contains most of my documents and being a college student most of my studying happens on it. I am constantly mailing and calling the customer center yet they haven't made any attempt to solve it, telling me to "send pictures and videos of the issue" now that that issue should be solved. The claim their service is completed. This is wrong and my claim will be ending in a few months after which i will have to pay to get it repaired even after i have already paid for insurance.

                              On availing new credit card from hdfc bank previous year i got automatically enrolled to one assist plan without my consent and automatically membership fee got debited from my credit card. So, i contacted both hdfc bank they told me contact one assist in this regard. After contacting one assist they kept on persuading me to keep the plan and started enumerating its benefits. I told them i strictly do not at all want to continue it after that they said we are providing a discount just for you and they just persuaded to carry forward the plan and they said the plan is already active and will remain for a year. I strictly said then i do not want to avail the plan and no renewal should happen the next time. They assured me that no auto debit will happen the next time. But to my surprise they are auto debiting rs 1399 on 25.03.2019 from my credit card even this year without my consent. I am really frustrated with one assist.

                              I want my full refund of my debited amount at the earliest.

                              One Assist team member had contacted me over the cancellation of enhanced wa power single plan and assured me they would proceed at the earliest.Two of their assosiates contacted me and were trying to convince me to continue the plan but I strictly told them I do not at all want to continue the plan for wich they have auto debited Rs 1399 from my credit card without my interest .I had even told those guys to deactivate the plan the previous year also but they did not do so.I am waiting from them to do it at the earlist and refund the amount soon.
                              As soon I get refunded of the amount Rs 1399 and deactivated from the plan I would mark the complaint as resolved.Eagerly waiting for their action.

                                  I am srikanth reddy had taken wallet protection plan on[protected]. We received a mail from one assist regarding that the plan will be renewed on[protected] automatically. When i called customer care of one assist for requesting discontinuation of plan after expiry i. E.[protected], they are telling that "we can not cancel the plan and plan will be automatically renewed and i[censored] want to discontinue then u call cancel the plan after renewal only".

                                  Hence i am requesting you to dont renew the plan. I[censored] renew the plan without my consent i will deal the same legally.
