Hello,
I had claimed my phone's screen in insurance and they had got the approval for approximately rs. 20, 000.
When the phone came back, which they took 1.5 months for, the screen was not working properly.
I had complained within the 48 hours timeline that they have (Which is quite unreasonable a deadline to have, since one needs time to check their device).
I had been keeping busy and they do not give alternate phones, even though their sales executive will promise you the same when selling you the insurance, therefore i could not give the phone on time for the return, and was unreachable on phone for a day or two and they closed my request.
On requesting to open the complaint they denied.
Therefore, i went to apple authorized store, where they told me the screen that they have used is duplicate and i will have to pay an extra charge for replacement.
Therefore, i enquired about authorized stores related to oneassist, it came out that there is only one store that oneassist has authorized, which is authorized by none of the brands, but by itself, where it uses fake and duplicate products, and earns a big margin there as well, from the money that gets sanctioned to them by the insurance companies.
Therefore, oneassist violates the basic principle of insurance, which is getting the person where he was before the accident. Because they remove genuine products and put in fake products (So-called authorized by oneassist itself).
P. S i have the bill and receipt and mail conversations as a proof for everything i am claiming above.
Also, qarmatek is the name of the dummy company, which they have authorized, the phone number of which will never be reachable or will never be picked.
