I had taken a mobile protection plan and the mobile got damaged. I raised a claim after 4 days due to a death.. Now claim is rejected bcos the claim is 4 days old.. No humanity.. While giving the inurance plan they were behid the money now when it is coming to giving insurance they ask many things.. Just o stop giving money

We understand your concern however, as per the Terms & Conditions laid down by the Insurance company one needs to inform the handset damage within 48 hours to us. Because this was done more than 48 hours later, the insurance company has rejected your claim.

We are sorry but we won't be able to help you in this matter. We request you to get your phone repaired from an Authorised Service centre and provide us with the Invoice.

          I have taken up up a plan called "home assist plan" with membership id [protected] valid through june 22, 2019. The plan includes servicing of air conditioners twice a year. First service was done on 10th december 2018 which was smoothly done. This increased my faith on oneassist. I even recommended this company to my procurement department who bought mobile handset insurance for about 100 samsung handsets. But to my utter shock this company is not able to get my acs serviced even after 4 days of logging the request. They just have to say "we have escalated your issue. Please wait, we are personally looking into your matter".

          How frustating experience they are giving me this time. How can one expect to renew this plan or recommend it to others? Only god can save such companies!!!

          Rupees 1899 has been debited from my account for One Assist. I did not even apply for this.
          Please deposit my money back in my account. This is completely wrong to debit money without permission/consent.

            I also received call from icici bank and they just given information about one assist plan after than they automatically activated this plan and deducted rs-1399/- from my credit card account. Without my permission. I don't need this plan actually. Please deactivate this plan and refund my money asap.

                I have a bank account in icici bank a/c no.[protected]. Recently i got a call from oneassist to register my cards with them. Now i have noticed a an amount deducted from my account as the charge of oneassist. I have not signed any agreement with oneassist. Evenly i have not updated any of my card.

                  I got an sms from ICICI Bank that my account has been debited with Rs-2599 towards a OneAssist WA Enhanced premium plan on 6th March 2018 without my consent.

                  There has been no response from the OneAssist customer service team even after contacting them on their customer service email address.

                  Kindly refund the deducted money asap and cancel the plan.

                  Such a deduction of money from my personal bank account without my consent is a criminal offence.

                    I had submitted a request to cancel my one assist membership on may 7, 2018, 1:57 pm. Till date, i haven't received any information related to my cancellation. But, i am just receiving mails pertaining to the renewal of the membership. Have sent nearly 4-5 mails to "[protected]@mail. Oneassist.in", but to of no use. If called to the customer c are, there is no one to answer the call too (I am on the call for nearly 15 mins, while typing this complaint).                       Pleaae discontinue the services for my credit card.

                      I am not using any of your services and want to discontinue the membership as you have deducted 1399 rupees without any permission from my ICICI bank credit card.

                          I had bought this insurance for my iphone 7 in may 2017. The first year of insurance of my phone id paid 5500 for the insurance, and made no claims (As there were no damages). The 2nd year i paid 3500 approx to extend my insurance.in september 2018, my phone fell from my hand when i was walking home from the gym as someone pushed me by mistake from the back and the screen crashed. They accepted my claim, and sorted my phone out also charged a processing fee of 2800. After 6 months, in the same spot outside my house this same incident happened. (Ther road outside my house is a bit crowded sometimes) but when i tried to claim insurance they rejected it saying the cause of damage can not be the same for them to accept the claim. I want to understand that something as basic as walking on the street being pushed by someone/ someone brushing against you while walking can surely happen twice in a span of 6 months in a city as crowded as kolkata. Does this company expect me to make up a reason instead of being honest. Also i would like to note that the reasons given both the times were not word to word copy pasted (I wasn’t even aware of the last claim cause written, the company’s agent read out to me) this is so outrageous, i’ve paid a sum of 12000 to the insurance agent in a span of 1.8 years, with no claim in the first year and only one in the 2nd year. How can they question my genuinety. I would definitely like to point out that i will never ever buy one assist insurance after this episode, and infact the mental harassment caused because of this is inhuman. It’s not that i cannot afford another phone, or that i have demanded a phone replacement. But the reason one buys this insurance is to make life easier, and that in the back of one’s mind one feels secured. But this has left a bad taste. This company expects one to lie. I cannot help it if my phone fell from my hand while walk from my gym back home twice. And when i was buying this insurance they painted such a lovely picture saying hassle free claims, and never pointed this out. Nowhere in the terms and conditions also this is written that the cause of damage can not be the same.
                          I would request you to take this case forward, and make sure the future customers don’t face such issues.

It’s been 3 weeks and i’ve yet not got any revert. This is very disheartening and i don’t think i would ever buy insurance from this company again.

                            Hello,

                            I had claimed my phone's screen in insurance and they had got the approval for approximately rs. 20, 000.
                            When the phone came back, which they took 1.5 months for, the screen was not working properly.

                            I had complained within the 48 hours timeline that they have (Which is quite unreasonable a deadline to have, since one needs time to check their device).

                            I had been keeping busy and they do not give alternate phones, even though their sales executive will promise you the same when selling you the insurance, therefore i could not give the phone on time for the return, and was unreachable on phone for a day or two and they closed my request.

                            On requesting to open the complaint they denied.

                            Therefore, i went to apple authorized store, where they told me the screen that they have used is duplicate and i will have to pay an extra charge for replacement.

                            Therefore, i enquired about authorized stores related to oneassist, it came out that there is only one store that oneassist has authorized, which is authorized by none of the brands, but by itself, where it uses fake and duplicate products, and earns a big margin there as well, from the money that gets sanctioned to them by the insurance companies.

                            Therefore, oneassist violates the basic principle of insurance, which is getting the person where he was before the accident. Because they remove genuine products and put in fake products (So-called authorized by oneassist itself).

                            P. S i have the bill and receipt and mail conversations as a proof for everything i am claiming above.
                            Also, qarmatek is the name of the dummy company, which they have authorized, the phone number of which will never be reachable or will never be picked.

                              Hi Team,

                              I Received SMS from HDFC BANK that RS-1399/- deducted from my credit card to ONE ASSIST PLAN without my consent. This is truly unethical and the plan should be deactivated at the earliest.
                              Hope a strict acation will be taken ASAP.

                                This is Mr.Nikhil S.Tidke, I am from Nashik.
                                2-3 days ago I got a call from oneassist assistant stating that he is calling me from ICICI bank regarding any insurance policy.I just heard and today on 4th of April they straight away took off Rs 1899/- from my ICICI Bank account.Isnt it unprofessional that without customer permission, how can you directly take off money from anybody's account...This is pathetic...I feel to file a case against you, disgusting...I need my refund back immediately.

                                  I received sms from icici bank that rs-1399/- deducted from my credit card to one assist plan on 29/09/17 & 29/09/18. Without my permission.. I also got a mail and a post from one assist team. I dont even know the company and this kind o[censored]nsolicited charging of my credit card. I m continuously calling to cancel the service and refund the money, but they are not cancelling the servicing.

                                    I have applied for wallet assist renewal cancelation in[protected], held a call with one assistant customer care, they told me your we have processed the cancelation request but 899 rupees will debited from your credit card and the amount well be deposited 20 days after. But today i got mail from one assistant as per the renewal notification in that mail they mentioned amount 1899 rupees.
                                    I dont have any trust about one assistant refund related or my cancelation.
                                    So please cancel my renewal i dont take any amounts from my cards

                                      By mistake that plan was added to my a/c last year and charged for membership but i have not provided any a/c and card no's to them. This year also they charged for membership balance. I dont want to continue with this plan. Renovation is not necessary. Kindly do the needful.

                                        I received an sms telling 1399 got deducted from my account without my prior confirmation, after going through a lot of websites, i get to know its for my one assist plan. I would like to deactivate the one assist plan because they are deducting anually without any prior permission and i never agreed to this. Pls do refund the money back.
