For ref SRFR3414 there is a refund pending from last three weeks after confirmation from Oyo executive. Sent email four times no response. Tried calling on customer care and it goes in loops on ivrs. In main menu there is no link for completed booking. If we go to upcoming booking it has link for check on refunds but when you go in it routes back to main menu. Even if we get hold of any executive by chance they will take min 15 min hold and then disconnect call and no courtesy to call back. Pls don't book Oyo for future to save money and most importantly peace of mind. Almost always the property will deny check in citing rooms not available or ask for more charges and Oyo executive once had the guts to tell me to move to another property at mid night. Pls go to other platforms. This one is a poorly managed company which will close down any time.

After raising complaint here I got an email and call from Oyo team. Phone number they called in does not have incoming and they insist using customer care only. Email was from escalation team [email protected] They processed the request and asked for bank details and refund processed. This forum is quite helpful in facilitating complaints. Thanks

Your team has again said the usual thing we have processed refund and wil be received shortly which I am hearing for the third time in last one month. This time it's been ten days already. I am really surprised how a simple refund process is made so complicated by you guys and painful for consumers. It is really a pity you guys are operating in service industry with know knowledge on what consumer satisfaction means. Still waiting for refund and you happily provide comment here resolution is provided when the executive clearly communicated otherwise

Team Oyo takes minimum ten min and multiple calls even to understand the issue and never replies on emails we are not free enough to spend so much time contacting you.
On refund pls don't give never ending answer of 7-14 days. Give a date by when I can have refund. I m tired of this answer.

Finally after so much follow up received the refund. If Oyo expects people to reach out to online consumer forums even for simple refund which was confirmed and takes this long it is really a pity how they operate their business. This will be my last visit or contact with Oyo hopefully. Rest of consumers enter Oyo at your own risk and only when there is absolutely no option.
It is Highly unfortunate you did not read even my message. Booking id is mentioned in subject line and also first line of complaint. This clearly showcases your company short sightedness. Any ways for you again SRFR3414
Received a call from Oyo escalations team asking for bank details again. Shared now and waiting for refund

      I booked a hotel oyo and I was notified that the payment failed but later I got an email saying I have checked in the hotel and an invoice attached for my payment. As it showed the payment was canceled, I had to go to another walk in hotel. Oyo said payment was failed and I will get the refund. Now they have sent an email with the payment Receipt and booking id. Earlier they have not provided me booking id or any confirmation as a notification poped up that you payment failed and booking was not complete. Ihave attached the email Id with booking confirmation and booking Id in this email. Please check and help me out with this. I'm confused what's going on. My registered number is [protected] .

      Yes. I've received a call from oyo and then I received an email asking account details for refund. I entered the account details correctly and got the confirmation but upon checking the refund status now it shows "failed". Why you're making this process complex. Please refund my money. I've attached screenshot of refund status.
      Today again I received an email saying account detail submitted was incorrect. What should I do now? I've already submitted account details multiple time. Please check the attached screenshot of the email.
      I've still not got any refund. It's been 15 days tjey said that the refund has been processed . I feel completely cheated now. Why Oyo is not returning money if they said that my payment failed and has not given me the booking. Please someone look into this.

        I tried to Book a room in OYO app on 23.12.21. The payment was successful but there is no bookings in the app.

        After reaching there, I was not allowed to enter the hotel, since I didn't have any booking ID.
        I had to stay someplace else and spend money again.

        I want my money back asap. Very bad. Been 7 days to it already and I've not still not gotten my money back.
        I booked but the app never verified my booking and then when I called Oyo support, the guy said that your booking has not been confirmed and it's stuck in processing. Hence, it'll be automatically cancelled and money will be refunded within 24hrs.
        It's been 7 days now. Please help me get my money back immediately.
        I really expect my issue to be resolved too just like others have gotten their money back, after facing the same issue.

          I have made a booking on 08th DEC 2021 with OYO Rooms, and i cancelled the same booking on the 13th DEC under the policy norms of OYO rooms, i get the status on the app that my booking is canceled and But there is no any mention of refund tranction id and trying to reach customer care they are only provide computer voice there is no refund related customer agent. They are not responding to calls or their chat Facility. I am waiting at 14day from the date of cancelled that booking. I want my money back. Please do something tried to connect with their support teams several times, but they don't give me a resolution on this. I tried to chat with them but there are just auto-generated responses. Here are the details-

          Cancellation date : 13th Dec2021

            Hello i am writing this after calling on your customer care number 100 times.
            The issue is i made a booking on 16 of December 2021 in jaipur and due to an issue the payment was deducted from my account but booking was unsuccessful. So i checked the booking and it was not there and i thought you will refund the amount. So i made another booking for the same day on 16 at same hotel and checked in that hotel and at that time also it showed me in your oyo app only single booking only. So when i checked out from the room on same day at that time too it was only showing me a single booking only because i remembered that i gave it 1 star to rating to that hotel at checkout time.
            Today i checked my bank account and there was no refund regarding that first booking which the amount was deducted. And i opened your oyo app to check for customer care number and i found that you there were 2 booking of the same hotel same day 16 December 2021 with the same name.
            And i know that which booking was failed as i paid through the amazon pay which was failed on 16 December. So i wanr the refund of my amount 1099 rs. Of booking id- EL5F7648 ( which is shown as i know this was failed).
            So i called the customer care after trying 100 times sometimes the person was not listened properly and sometimes the call automatically cut after 8 minutes and so on.
            I have all the recording of the customer care executives.
            I am attaching relevant audio of customer care and screenshot of the booking too.
            Please help and resolve this issue otherwise i have to go to consumer court regarding the issue as this is your fault not mine and your service is worse like you wasted my whole day in this and in the end i received this mail id from your executive which i asked like 1000 times from everyone.

                I made a transaction for booking a hotel via oyo rooms on 08th Dec 2021 with transaction amount of 1872/- (1872 from Google pay). I cancelled the booking on the (13th Dec 2021) due to some reason and it has been more than 14 working( today is 14th day as per bank working days) days since oyo is telling me that they have initiated the refund and that i will receive the amount within 14 working days. I asked oyo for the bank reference number so that i could confirm whether there is any issue with the bank. After confirming with the bank mentioning the transaction the bank says we have already updated your transactions but your biller has not initiated the refund. I asked oyo again for telling them that there is no issue from the bank side. Kindly initiate the refund but the response from oyo is same that your bank reference number is so and so and to talk with your bank. I am fed of calling oyo and standard chartered bank again and again without any worthy results.

                  I booked a room in OYO hotel through the Oyo website and paid for it online. But even after paying it kept showing me the confirmation on payment box om their payment page. Apparently, I did not get any confirmation on the booking neither did I get any booking ID.

                    As I had booked in OYO on 25th of Dec we receive a message your booking got cancelled after that we reach hotel he denied to check-in as the booking was full we tried to call customer care but didn't receive a response after that I connected someone she raised wrong booking id case what a person should do. Now I am mailing calling but nobody has answers of the same. They put the call on HOLD Is my money a waste.

                    Is this our fault the hotel person guides us to cancel and take the booking?

                      I booked room in oyo dated Dec 24, 2021 - Dec 25, 2021 . When i reached hotel, hotel owner denied room saying no room available . When i called Oyo then they confirmed that money will be refunded and later when again i contacted oyo regarding refund status then they said they wont refund as per cancellation policy .                         I tried to Book a room in OYO app on 22.12.21. The payment was successful but there is no bookings in the app.

                        Then I paid in cash and stayed there. Then I made a complaint on mail there is no response. I tried to call customer care service they are replying this is only for booking no complaint.

                        If they are deducting money they have to provide service or they have to refund to the respective account. How can they hold my money for days.

                          I booked a hotel from 28th December to 30th December through call with oyo customer executive.

                          During our conversation the executive said if we cancel the booking prior 9am we will get full refund.

                          But now while trying to cancel the booking it shows its a non refundable booking.

                          Tried conveying the issues multiple times with the executives but everytime they disconnected the while.

                          But I never recieved a call from any executive from OYO.

                          Also they have sent a message to me that refund has been initiated and shared a link through mail to check the status of the refund in which it shows that refund has been successfully transferred to my card.

                          But I haven't recieved any amount in my card.

                            I was booking a room from oyo and i pressed on pay now i paid 957 using upi but due to some glitch payment was not confirmed and anfter that i booked another room but after payment i noticed the deduction of the 957 ruppes for the room which is not booked in the app i went opening the application and there was a option that booking pending for the older room i clicked on cancel and lost the booking and my money is also deducted from the account. Please give my money back 😭

                                I booked a hotel in Goa ( The Crescent ) from oyo application and my booking was confirmed. The booking ID is E5M44170.
                                On the day of check in, I called the hotel in the morning to confirm my booking and the hotel denied my booking and said they have no tie up with OYO and told me to complain to the oyo customare care. After being on the call with oyo for more than 4 hours, one oyo executive told me to cancel my booking around 1pm.
                                Now, I do not have a booking and they are not even refunding the complete amount that I have paid.
                                I have had the worst experience with oyo and I want the complete amount to be refunded back to me.

                                  There was no booking id given...as the payment was bot verified but the amount was deducted and the Phone pe support said that the amount has been received by merchant.

                                    I have tried booking the OYO and made a payment of 945 using phonePe App but booking not completed, again I tried and it deducted the amount of 906 again towards the Booking ID JFLB8821, I need the refund back of 945 for which no booking ID generated.

                                    I had a check in today and said I have two rooms booked which is not and made me cancel one of the booking. The booking ID which is cancelled for the same hotel ZUGY8382, I have a check in with the booking ID JFLB8821. I need the full refund as that payment was not success and goot it bookked twice.

                                      I booked an oyo hotel which welcomes unmarried couple but at the time of check-in we were denied and showed a very disrespectful behaviour from the hotel, asking us to leave the hotel and just closed the hotel door in front us. We were travelling from WestBengal to Odisha and I was waiting outside the Hotel for more than 2 hours waiting for OYO assistance to get back which was conveyed at first level of .Such kind of fraud is not expected from such a reputed organization.
                                      Its all about the safety which was the major OYO concern, and we were waiting from 10:30am till 12:30am.
