On Dec 20, 2021 morning at 7:03 AM I had called and booked an OYO room through the OYO booking number [protected].
I had told the exectuve clearly that I need early morning checkin and told her to confirm with the hotel. She promised me she has called and confirmed and told me there are 14 rooms available and asked me to proceed with the booking payment.
So, i made the payment of Rs 770 through Google Pay (UPI Transaction ID -:[protected]. She then asked me to go to the hotel and checkin.
Upon reaching the hotel, within 10 minutes, they told me no rooms are available and won't allow early morning checkin. This was after all the assurance provided by the OYO booking executive. I tried contacting several executives from 7.15 am to 8.30am. All of them asked me to hold the call and left me midway. Then finally one person from the Service team told me I won't be paid the money back after cancelation.
This is really a fraudulent act. I had mentioned clearly that I need early morning checkin and i wont be able to wait till 12pm for checkin. Only after assurance from the OYO booking executive, i paid the entire amount. Then I had to go through a horrible experience from OYO customer service/booking teams for over 2 hours, after I travelled a 14 hour journey from Trivandrum to Bangalore.
Now, I am being denied of the refund. How pathetic can a company be and this is clearly an organized loot.
I am sorry to say the OYO booking/service teams are pretty useless and just want to convert a booking and give false promises, thereby cheating customers. Now, after it is all OYO's fault regarding this booking, i am being denied of my hard earned money as a refund. This isn't the first time, such an event has happened from OYO booking team.
Please provide me my money back. Atleast do that after making me go through hell.

Complaint marked as Resolved I had posted about the same on social media. Today, I got a call stating refund will be issued and I have received it.
