My booking id is kbzh8249, i made a payment of rs. 2239 against it, but later cancelled my booking. I had received confirmation emails regarding cancellation of booking and refund of amount, with some refund id # 4f4fxy0p4q8lufjrph4npupi but actually i haven't received any amount in my bank account. I have earlier also done many complaints against this issue, but every time i just get a email saying my refund have been processed and its adjustment might take 7-14 days. Honestly this is not a responsible answer, its been more than a month now and i still haven't got my refund in my account. If the refund have been done from the company side, please tell me to which gateway or bank account has the refund been done. My booking was of 29th feburary, 2016.

    Firstly there was no transparence while i had booked the hotel room in goa for 5 days. They showed me only pictures of the resort saying it was a premium property and upon booking (By paying rs.3099/- per night) saw the property (Bollywood sea queen beach resort) to be below average property and the price charged to me was double the cost as other travel agents were giving the same property at rs. 1600/-

    Food quality in the resort was really very bad and i found cockroaches in the basket of chapattis served to me for dinner. Have taken the necessary snaps as well. There were pests roaming around the rooms and i voiced out my concerns with oyo team and also the resort managers asking them to get my property changed but no one even bothered to hear me or get the needful done. The hotel manager acknowledged that there was a problem with pests in the resort and they are looking at the problem

    I tried reaching out to the concerned resort manager and oyo rooms but did not get any response at all from anyone. Have sent couple of mails but did not get any response from anyone on the same

    I feel cheated as oyo had over charged me for the property and had given me a substandard property while other travel agents were transparent enough to tell me that the property is an average property and the cost ranged from 1500 / - to 2300/-

      With reference to our booking hotel at goa from 21st March 2016 to 25th March 2016.in this regard we have spoke to ur customer care officer Mr. Akash for mismanagement in the hotel booking at goa and told him to raise for refund the amount. But till date we haven't recieved any reply.details are as follows customer care executive booked 1st 2 days (I. E. From 21st March 2016 to 23rd March 2016 at shiva resorts near calungute beach.but the same time for next two days I told to book hotel near bag beach (radissonhotelradissonhotel near)but he has booked hotel from 23rd Jan 2016 to 25th Jan 2016. And when I have booked 2 days in march why should I have booked for Jan even I have clearly told for 23rd March to 25th March 2016 if open the voice record. So it is the mismanagement of your executive so kindly refund my booking amount as earliest.
      Pls look into the matter carefully.

        I have been using oyorooms from past year, with more than five bookings. It was a smooth transaction until my last booking which was a pay at booking.

        I booked a property (Single room for double occupancy) on arambol beach at goa during the fourth week of march (20th to 25th of march), and paid a sum of rs.4495 via online. I was pushed to a situation to cancel the booking later due to some safety issues that i came across on several reviews and my friends.

        During the cancellation of the booking after few days on 13th of march, i called up the customer care agent of oyorooms to ensure my cancellation and the terms and conditions for the same, in which the person gave an assurance about the refund of the amount paid within 7 to 14 days after the cancellation.

        In a situation where oyorooms failed to refund the amount within the specified period of time, i again called up to ensure about the same on sunday (27th march), where they claim that the property is non-refundable eventually the amount wont be refunded. (Agent miss.Meenakshi)

        After contacting higher officials of the firm, ( mr.Rishab saxena, sr executive ) where they claim to have went through the call recordings and found no assurance by their agent. When i demand to share the call recording, initially they (Miss.Reeta, who claims to be the top most official to contact regarding the issue) accept in sharing the call recoding and asked permission for a day or two and assigned a call back. Miss.Chandhni chauhan who called back seeking additional information regarding the issue, had a ver rude behaviour and is found to be skeptic on me.

        Again they call back on monday (28th march) to say the same and refused to share the call recordings.

        Irony is that the terms and conditions which i was supposed to accept in order to pay the amount clearly specifies about the 100% refund if a booking is cancelled before 24 hours of check in. I have attached the screenshots of the terms and conditions that specify the above point.

        I am unhappy and frustrated with the service they provide where your employees make me me call several times with no proper response and held me on line for more than 20 mins in each and every call. I never expected such a worst service from a trusted firm. It is mentioned that you provide budget rooms, do u even think a customer looking for a budget room will not be caring about the money?

        I hope there is someone who can help me sort this issue out and get my cash refunded.

          I made a booking on March 27, 2016 till March 31, 2016 from Oyo. Now, the purpose of work in the city fortunately is over. This made a logic approach to modify my booking to checkout the hotel by today. i.e., March 29, 2016. But, those unprofessional scumbags are denying to fulfill any changes and forcing me pay the entire amount of the booking. This make no sense of taking money for those days where the guest is not even staying. These OYO people's are rude, with no policy of satisfied customers or any sort of assistance. They are just interested in money and looting people.

            Hi i am sampath from hyderabad. I have book a hotel room from oyorooms.com near KPHB hyderbad. I got a confirmed message from the oyorooms.When i checked with the hotel management my rooms was not confirmed in that hotel i have made no of calls to oyo customer care but it was waste.They made wait on call or they say we get back to you in half an hour, but i didn't got any call from them.Check the below link of compliant

              This refers my most painful experience with OYO rooms ever. My reviews about oyo rooms are followed and trusted. My name is Ritesh Bijoria and can be searched on Google. I have been regular visitor at pup properties.

              My family has booked 5 rooms at shivam palace ujjain. At the first hotel is not equipped to handle customer. Do not have good pantry nor have service orientation. Not even card swapping machine. No toilet paper rolls at washroom.

              We complained about this as well But as usual nothing is done by your team.

              We have asked hotel to check us out at 11 am in morning and wanted to retain one room. Hotel but confirmed no issue. We went in to temple and mobiles are not allowed inside. Thus we were unreachable.

              To our surprise despite being a substandard and pathetic hotel we are charged with Rd 3300 extra. We spoke to every one at oyo with firm belief that since we are ethically correct we will be heard and issue will be resolved.

              Your seniors used words like we are lieing to save charges. No one has used such words ever and it's unacceptable. Pl see my profile than use sich words. I can get your guy arrested there.

              I am filing suit at consumer court and will not spare someone malingning my dignity

              You have spoiled our holiday. Inflicted huge harrassment and caused pained to us in all possible manner.

              I need refund else will be constrained to take consumer court route for mental agony and financial losses to us.

              Oyo rooms has gone ahead with tieups with non standard hotels. Promise like good breakfast or WiFi is fake

              Some properties are not even a dhaba standard in terms of service

              It's sad to see such a big promise and no delivery

              It's a wake-up call to them to get all properties audited on standards promised. I know more than 60 % will not qualify.
              Check reviews before you book oyo rooms

              Get ready for surprises of you land in to bad property and pathetic services

              Be very careful on tier 2 and 3 hotels

              I wonder if customer service exist at oyo rooms

              They have lost me as customer forever.

                I have booked the hotel through oyo rooms in jaipur. I have been given hotel meenakshi palace. I am sharing the pictures of room alloted to me. This will show how oyo room is cheating the customers. the room service is very bad. We have found many cockrathes in our room. Totally unique hygienic environment.                   U had booked a room in coorg for 25th march to 26th march, through oyo app, but when i was checking through app before arrival, it showed cancelled & i called customer care of oyo to ask abiut the same, but they easily said sorry & told me to pay & do another booking for the same room!! Also, they said they cudnt refund any of my money (I had paid entire payment in advance). I am deeply shocked, why i should bear the loss for their error & mistake?? This is deeply against any loyal customer who trust any site/app for booking & payment!!

                  Refund of amount

                  I booked hotels online thorough OYO ROOMS. i cancelled my hotel bookings having booking ids UMSZ 0619, STVP9526 & HKF16498 .Now it's been a month over since i cancelled yet the amount is not refunded by the company. i called many times to customer care they gave silly excuses.

                    Hi, I booked for 2 rooms for Hotel One place, Kukatpally ( hyderabad) on 25th-26th March 2016. However when i reached the hotel to check upon the booking, they said rooms were not available and didnt receive any confirmation from the Oyo team. I tried reaching Oyo call centre, with out any success. Tomorrow morning, my guests are arriving and have no place to stay, Its highly unprofessional, unethical and unjustified practice of the Oyo rooms. Please find the details below:

                      Dear Consumer Forum,

                      I am extremely unhappy with unprofessional behaviour from "OYO rooms" and their customer care team, I have recently booked OYO rooms and faced lot of challenges, I have booked a room in Pune, the location map and the address provided were incorrect, I spent 2-3 Hrs. for finding the location which I couldn't find it, I have called OYO customer care/hotel reception number etc, tried everything to find out, but I couldn't find it, since I wasn't able to find the location, I cancelled the booking and then realised there won't be any refund of the money, everything went to cancellation charges, then I called customer care several times and tried to explain the situation, but it didn't help, finally they sent a message saying that the room is booked and available, now with support from the know local guy we managed to find the room which is really in remote location no where matching with details provided during booking, but for our surprise they changed the stay quoting that it is a new booking, they didn't even give any clue that it is new booking, this was not fair from OYO rooms and total unprofessional to do so.

                        I booked this hotel on my wife's birthday as i thought oyo is giving good services in country bus as i have booked rooms with gostays and zorooms before i didn't find it good according to the amount i paid. I paid 1250/- for a day and i have booked room near delhi airport with much better services in less than 750/- per day.
                        The food was also not good, Room was also dirty and toiletry was not even provided, So i want my money back on this because this is nothing but cheating.

                          I have booked a room online on 26.01.16 early morning around 7 10am from 26th to 28.01.16.
                          But the great cheating happened is the booking is made from 25.01.16 to 28.01.16. How is it possible that a person books from previous day? Even today anybody try at 7 20 am for booking from today to next three days, u cannot book room for previous day this morning, because there is no option of selecting previous date, even by mistake i[censored] do then also it will not go ahead for booking page.

                          But when I booked for 26.01.16 to 28.01.16 oh they sent a sms saying you have booked from 25.01.16 to 28.01.16.

                          And another cheating is that when I called and said problem, they said do one thing, you cancel the booking n then rebook, we will initiate full refund. So i cancelled n i got a sms that you will get refund of only Rs. 2519/-. They have not paid 1259/- from my 3778/-. When I called customer care they said you will get that also directly into your account... but 1 n half month passed I didn't get that amount.

                          So Oyo is providing cheap rooms, I will say cheaper than all others in India. But at the same time looting cheating thousands of people n eating covering crores of peoples money.

                          May this be noted by concerned departments and strict action/audits to be done in this section.

                          Oyo Pl immediately deposit my amount back, if not I have to raise this in thru other ways on to each Indians/courts notice.

                            I had booked a room at:
                            FHLT4659
                            OYO Rooms Rail Yatri Niwas
                            Hotel Name: Hotel J P Inn
                            Hotel Address: 8456, Street No. 1, Arya Nagar, Paharganj, Delhi

                            However when we reached there they said that the booking is cancelled as we reached late and that we contact OYO directly. I fail to understand how the room was cancelled when we had specifically written in our request that we are coming from Malaysia and will only check in after 10 PM.

                            When we contacted Customer Care the person too contacted the hotel only to tell us that the concerned hotel had cancelled the room and he said he will transfer call to a different department who will suggest an alternate location. The phone got disconnected then and was not reachable from then onwards. That was a nighmarish experience as we got stranded in the middle of the night, me and my wife.

                            Now after at least 10 calls later to customer care they first said that you had stayed at the hotel, then finally they agreed that you had not checked in and you will get refund on contacting your third party payment provider - PAYTM. When I contacted PAYTM and told them this, then they in turn contacted OYO. OYO this time again told them that since I had availed the services I will not get refund.

                            This is an extremely bad company and I will not recommend it to anyone.

                              As per web page free wifi in room, free continental breakfast, paid for above breakfast dirty linen when asked to change with a less spotless dirty one.
                              Ac looked scary to turn it on geyser didnt work .
                              Overall room was a store room and not worth of paying 1049.
                              Spoiling the brand wake up .

                                I had few foreigner friends travelling to Chandigarh for whom I am made booking at OYO rooms. The hotel called and confirmed with them in the evening and asked for the checkin time as well but just before reaching the place, they got a mail saying there booking got cancelled just because the person didn't pick up his phone while travelling (which the hotel made the second time). They didn't even wait till the time given by the guests to Hotel for checkin which was 10 pm. Above that, when I called the customer care of OYO rooms, the person talked rudely and said he cant do anything about it. He even said arrogantly that I can complain if I want. I regret trusting these new companies which don't even have business ethics. Above that, it was such a huge embarrassment infront of my guests who specially came to visit India. My booking id VTKW5389 and booking date was 16th March 2016.

                                  Never book with oyo rooms, basically they are giving rooms at a cheaper price but with lots of clauses. it is exactly what AIR ASIA does in aviation, they do it in Hotel business. cheap no frills attached. cant change, cant get refund - if hotel says they are full. dirty filthy rooms, but instead to complaint to the manager... now u have to complaint everything to the oyo customer care - for which the oyo rooms management doesn't bother at all.

                                  bottom line - pathetic, irritating, if by luck ur experience may be good with oyo rooms .. but there is 70% chance u wiil end up irritated, annoyed or embarrassed.

                                    reached sweet home guest house at 10 pm.
                                    The service is very bad. room & bathroom is very small.
                                    As discussed over phone, there was no parking space available even though I was confirmed over phone for the same. the oyo executive piyush says parking is available from hotel side but there is no parking for my car.The room looks dirty, and mattresses & pillow cover was not clean. TV is not working properly.
                                    The dinner took almost 1 hour to arrive. there is only 2-3 items for diner.
                                    I think I have been robbed of Rs 4950 /-.
                                    For this reason, I think the prepaid payment is done.
                                    I cannot change the hotel at this point of time coz of late night & no refund available. at the time of check out morning hotel owner says there is no compliment breakfast for you.
                                    From now onwards, I will never use oyo & will not refer to anyone. Very bad experience. Can't explain on words. i complaint twice but no response from oyo.

                                      I walked in to oyo rooms - hotel neelam at jaipur, located near ganpati plaza, motilal atal road, jaipur on 08th march 2016. At the time of checking in, i made sure that i have an american express card to make the payment, and i was assured that it is a valid mode of payment and will be accepted. They tried to swipe the card at the hotel but it was not working and every time they did that the transaction was declined. Then they gave me a booking id and told to go online with the payment link and make the payment over there. They assured again that the online payment will definitely go through with the american express card that i have. I called the customer care number they sent me a link to pay the balance, and i tried to process it several times but it was just getting declined. After so many attempts and wasting plenty of time i called the customer care number and they sent me another link to process the payment.

                                      For 2 days i tried to process the payments but it was a failure every time. All my business meetings were affected as i try and work on the same with a constant tension, that how should i make this payment.

                                      On the 3rd day wen reaching the customer care, and telling my complaint, they tend to tell me the american express cards are not accepted as the mode of payments, and that i should use another mode of payment. I did not know what to do. The customer care people advise me to call any of the relatives and call for money to pay them, this is not a way to treat the customer.

                                      Frustrated i don't know what to do and how to make the payment as i don't have any bank account in india. I don't live in india, i am from america and still in a miserable condition.

                                      False commitments, improper behavior, inaccurate information, and no transparency, this was the most annoying stay of my trip to india.

                                      Hotel Neelam & Restrent Ajmer Highway — This taking so much cost and not so good food without telling the cost

                                      On ajmer highway near to dudu bus stop on neelam hotel and tacking food this hotel don't show the menu and tacking extra cost of salide and food as compare with normal rate. And after giving complain for this than the owner is shouting on customer. Please take action against this hotal and this is same thing in almost all hotel in ajmer road.
