samsung has released this great looking phone but with very impotent software.

1. we cant play any mp4 video files converted using any of the softwares
2. cant step forward music, no one click buttton to play music. has to go with hell lot of steps.
3. camera not upto mark (not 1.3 Megs standard atleast)
4. cant minimise music player. i[censored] play music, do nothing.
5. cant open even moderately large images taken from digital camera.
6. unable to play any video til now.

samsung must release a patch for the software for this phone as similar feature packed LG 6600 costs just 4600 Rs. and comes with 512 MB card too. this phone has no card in-box.
why so much premium for this less. ???

Samsung MPower 309 CDMA — MP4 files does not play

MP4 files does not play as stated in the Manual. Only the recordings made via camera opens in the MP4 mode... Samsung should release a patch for this quickly.

more complaints.. very low battery life.. frequent disruptions of signal.. while the signal bar shows full strength, calls suddenly drop off or no voice clarity.. two other guys (may be more, i know only two who has the same service provider) at office have nokia cdma phones with same service providers & their cell phones are better by miles..
when went to check with samsung service, they say its the phone service provider's mistake & signals may be weak. when contacted service provider, they say phone is faulty. i agree with the service provider though, since other two guys have better signals or call clarity..
went to samsung service, reloaded software but no use..
no profiles so if i have to mute the phone, have to go through bunch of steps..
looks great but useless software.. can go on & on with the low end features but ...
GSM phones of the same company has better software though.

Just I have purchase samsung f309 cdma mobile. Good looking phone but you cannot do anything. Only this phone is use for incoming/outgoing call. This simple feature is provided by any low medium phone starts from Rs.750/-. Please don't buy this phone. 15 days passed, but i am not playing any video files, mpf files, two much steps for any function to use. I fedup with this phone. Now i am using only calling purpose. I am first time user of Samsung Mobile. Go to hell Samsung. In future, I never buy any samsung mobile phone.
Hey i am using the MPOWER-309 for last 6 months. I reloaded the software, through a service centre.
It's working fine, the audio and video clarity are supreb. It's worth for the price compared to nokia CDMA.
It's a good product yaar. I'm felling good with the battery back up also. I felt as the only complaint in this mobile is not supporting jar files.
Yes I too purchased sch f309 all the above comments made are true. we cant even transfer files using blue tooth although following lot of steps it only accepts filed. cant play any any video files such 3gp and other files. useless phone with much cost . weaker network signal call drops evenly.
can samsung return this useless phone. Cannot even use for simple receiving and making calls. Call drops evenly with weaker network signal.
Samsung 309 frustrates me a lot with it's text message legth capability. The problem is I cannot write long SMS more than 160 chars. Default length doesn't increases when default text message's length of 160 chars is reached. Ideally test message length should automatically gets increased or ask for some confirmation(as in samsung hero or other low cost phones) for typing the 2nd part of the message. But nothing of that sort happens with this box. Very annoying because sometimes, I have to talk to my girl friend thru text messages :(

Whatever other folks have written are also true... We request samsung to come out with some software patch to fix all this. I also approached samsung center with the nature of the complaint but nothing happened.

Can anyone assign a particular mp3 ringtone to a particular contact list? When assigning a ringtone for a contact am able to see only the preloaded ringtones in terms of Basic melodies and bells but am not able to see the Mp3 files which can be assigned. When asked to the customer care and service stations, the answers differ with one saying that it supports and the other saying that the handset doesn't support the function. If you are able to set the mp3 ringtone from memory card for a particular contact then i must upgrade the software.

I have purchase f309 and was listening to music suddenly a incoming call received and when disconected phone gets restart. problem facing since first day, repeatedly visited service center but yet to be benefited.
Useless mobile, we can get this kind of simple features in low cost mobile.
No need to pay more for this rubbish system. Can not play Mp4 files. no video recording.

SCH F309 — Doesn't support GIF formet

few day back i purchased samsung SCH F309 and i found that it does not support gif formate. i m also unable to save vedios in my video folder in themes category.
i agree with all complaint but we can play video files by 3gp converter.
we can play MP3 but cant minimize sound is ok we can easily play MP3 files by up key and ok.
yes i do agreee with the above complaints..the only thing i would like to tell new buyers to be---
"PLEASE FOR HEAVENS SAKE DONT EVEN DREAM OF BUYING THIS PHONE ITS DISGUSTING"
this phono is worth nothing shown on the manual works no video files played bluetooth device not accepting other devices and so on if anyone can find a soln pls display on this web page

I'm not Indian, but I'd like to give a little review of this phone:
1. Battery life is very satisfactory. My phone can play mp3s for a long time and the battery life is still good. In a regular use, it can last up to 4 days.
2. At first, I couldn't even send any sms. After I upgraded the software (in Samsung service center), it's all good. Bluetooh is also working fine, I can exchange files with my other Samsung phone (Beat), Nokia, and Sony Ericsson.
3. To play mp3 files, you can use UP shortcut from 4 pad navigation. LEFT is shortcut for inbox, DOWN is for radio, and RIGHT is for calendar.
4. No video player, no mms (ugh), and definitely it does not support Java app, only BREW apps. But BREW apps aren't popular. Scrolling up and down in the browser is slow. It takes ages to scroll in a long page.

you need to use some software to convert video file into .3g2 format to play.(like 3gpp2)

I have purchased SCH - F309 from E-Zone, 6, C. R. Avenue, Kolkata - 72 as per cash bill no. T6/3118 dtd. 21/06/2010. Recently I got problem in mobile handset that some noisy sound is coming from speaker. So, in this case I deposited same set to ur service centre at Capital Enterprise (P) Ltd, underground Esplande Metro Railway Station, 12, J. L. Nehru Road, Kolkata - 13 as per work order no. CE/09/23/017 dtd. 23/9/2010 at 15.30pm. As per ur service centre engineer speaker is not available. If this small parts is not available in ur service centre, then I have done mistakes for purchasing the same. Today, 5/10/2010 ur service engineer told that my set will be delivered on Friday 8/10/2010. I m very much shocked to hear this.
Plz look into this matter at ur end.

lcd tv problem

    I bought a refrigerator from Samsung authorised dealer JANUS ELECTRONICE, Ghaziabad on 07/05/2006.
    After date of purchase fridge did not work properly or any problem are stands after service. After that if I complaint on customer care the executive tell that company's Engineer comes in 2-3 days after and comes after many time I call in customer care.

    The Engineer rectifies the problems temporarily. For rectifying he charge some amount for service & he did not give any bills against the payment.

      My Name is Satish Dubey had visited the Samsung Service centre on 15-June-2009 at Ghatkopar West off LBS marg for issue with my mobile (model J700) as it has no net work & their was Bluetooth problem too. I had been to same service in the month of May for same reason at that time they have taken 7 days and given the handset back to me stating that everything is ok. By going home I checked that time Bluetooth problem has been solved but their was no network though I have inserted proper sim card, the very next i had gone to my native place because of which I was unable to report the same to service centre. On 15th June, 2009 I personally visited the Samsung service centre inform the same that my handset is still not having any network; I am unable to make & receive calls. The service centre person had promised that I will get my handset in proper condition within 7 days and he had given me the Job sheet with Work Order No.[protected], again I had called on 20-june-2009 at 1.00 pm to know the status as it was 7th day he promised to return the handset, their was no proper reply from the phone officer she was lady she asked me to wait she will reply within one hour i said ok and their was no reply from service centre. Again i called at 3.00 pm still she was not sure and she was asking me to hold the line for 2 minutes i was on line for 6 minutes but after that she had disconnected the call. As my college is near to this service centre at 3.45pm I personally visited their and shouted at them still their was no reply for the status of my handset. I begged that please inform me the status at least so that I can go instead of wasting time their. After 30 minutes their senior person had spoken with me saying that your handset is not yet received from company and he assured me that I will get my handset on 23-jun-2009 i.e., Tuesday, On 23rd I received a call stating that my handset will take some more time then same day I visited the service centre that time the same person is informing me that my handset will take 10-15 days more and when I argued about 7 days tat then he was ready to give another handset for usage and he had given me a cell phone with model No. Samsung B100 with charger and battery. But the Issue with that handset (B100) is that when we put the handset on charging that time it will display that charging is going on actually it is not charging and i was unable to use the handset and again I visited on 28-jun-2009 for B100 which he had given me for usage I shouted at him politely at that time he said that your battery is completely discharged because of which you are facing this problem and he had given me the another battery and I accepted the same. Again I am facing the same problem that B100 model is not getting charged, my handset was not in use but still I have to pay rental for service provider & This Samsung people are also not going to extend the warranty period also then who is gong to compensate all this. Again & again I don’t have money & time to travel all the way to service centre.

But Now i dont want to wait for the same I want my Money back. I am facing problem that i can not see the phone Nos. And contacts. I just want my money Back from these samsung irresponsible people.

        mobile --SAMSUNGE250i — NO NETWORK AVAILABLE

        I have taken a gsm conection No [protected] on 2nd jun 09 & it was activated also but after 3 days it is deactivated. I cotact with cutomer care they asked me for resubmission of ID PROOF . Isubmitted the ID & Address proof on 21 jun 09 . my conection is not activated till date even I loged a complaint on 24 jun 0n No[protected] dtd 24 jun 09. This time it is told that within 2 days it will be solved again on 27 jun 09 CONTACT WITH cutomer care & it is again told wait for 2 days.

        Now you your self deside the performance of your cutomer care & reliance net work I can say it is poor.
        once again I request u to solve my problem before I to higher authority.

        Hi, my samsung e250 after search network go to no service provider mode

        i buy this mobile before 2.5 year but im not satisfied over all perfomance becoz this handset are very problematic and very ordanary i change my handset strip more than 6 time now one more time got same problem now i search in many shop but i cant found it before this problem i was thinking to buy another mobile from ur company but from this incident i leave this idea.my mob.[protected]

          I am one of Samsung CTV 43 projection customers purchased on March 17, 2004 for Rs.98, 879/-Since we bought the TV at least once in a year the system gives problem and Samsung service person report’s its switch board failure and replaced the same.This similar problem kept occurring almost every year and enquired they said “Don’t worry sir it’s under warranty and we will take care during post warranty.After a brief stay in abroad on return switched ON the TV it didn’t function and Samsung customer service engineer analyzed the problem and informed two faults a) Switch board failure b) RAY Gun defect both has to be replaced and it will cost Rs.14, 000/- with one month warranty. Their response was that it is a failure model and even that the Samsung had stopped manufacturing the components and have to procure based on availability and warranty for the same will be 1 month. The best option Samsung service people suggested us repair it and sell at price it fetch. When checked for exchange offer with the dealers and Samsung showroom they say it’s difficult to sell and it will fetch less than Rs.10, 000 in working condition and under present state you will get only Rs.2000/-.I have already spoken to Samsung customer care call centre #:[protected]ref no:[protected] they were just prepared for basic queries and follow-up happened on the same day one of your junior service technician called with just fixed reply nothing can be done on the components warranty its just for 1 month. I would like to address this issue to Samsung high level management about image of the Samsung brand India. Based on the brand value we just bought the Projection for Rs.1 Lakh without comparison and feedback from the market. The company supposes to consider us as loyal customer who was instrument and reference for their new product in the market. The employees of Samsung themselves says its failure model and no point in repairing the same. I am still ready to spend Rs.14, 000/- and my only concern is the warranty for the system is only for one month. I wonder Samsung like companies produce components with life span for a month if not the service warranty should be much more reasonable period. I would kindly request to look into the concern and provide satisfactory solution.

            i bought a Samsung flat color tv set on november 2008.till today four parts of tv set is already changed.But the color dispatch problem is still continue.even i wrote a complain to the Samsung india pvt. ltd. through mail and an application through the service center, still i am not find any sartisfactory service.when i called to the service center the just tell me that call me after one day or two day we will give u the information. the product of the company is totaly 3rd class. so stay away from purchasing the product of the company.

              Samsung mobile phone sgh-x820 went out of order 3rd times within 20 months
              Now repair cost estimated to be Rs 7000/ + service charges almost 50% of the set cost is repairs.
              One word anwers "LIQUID COLLECTION "
              NOT ACCEPTABLE FINDINGS ...
              TAXING THE CUSTOMERS ..THEY CAN'T PROVE THIS POINT BUT USED BY ALL.

              My opion Samsung products are sub stnadard quality products and BE AWARE WHEN YOU BUY THIS COMPNAY PRODUCTS "

                I am an advocate practicing at Bangalore. I have purchased a Samsung Printer SCX 4521 F. The said printer became out of order and if a print command is given entire printed page becomes dark black.

                Immediately in the month of May 20th itself I have lodged a complaint with your customer care executive, however there was no progress at all.

                Thereafter I have contacted your customer care service centre several times. On[protected] I have lodged the serious complaint. My telephone bill clearly reflects the details of the contact with your customer care.

                I have been reminding you from my telephone calls however always I receive bluffing saying that it will be done immediately. In the third week of May a service engineer visited and he checked the printer however it did not work, thereafter he had come on next day however though he has changes its mother board it did not work. He left saying that one more part has to be changed. Thereafter there was no news from you.

                Thereafter I have been reminding you almost everyday requesting you to repair or replace the printer however there is no positive response from you.

                I am a practicing advocate every day I need to take printouts urgently and to submit to the Hon'ble Court. My works are emergency in nature and I am depending only on one Printer. The negligence and deficiency of service has caused me to suffer irreparable loss and injury. I am really annoyed by your conduct and I had to waste lot of time and energy persuing about the complaint. This treatment was not expected from Samsung Company. I have suffered huge loss.

                I request you to replace the Printer immediately or else I have to initiate suitable action against you before the consumer court.

                  i have samsung sch-F679 CDMA mobile. last two days onwards my mobile only on position i am able to switch off the mobile and restarting mobile conyinious. i am able to organise any options mobile. the display message is ' RESTARTING' only 24*7.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I am Manwar Ali Khan from Cuttack, Orissa and presently I am here at United Arab Emirate, I purchased one split A/C Model No. AS18FAXDTL, S No. 5CBPA014304, with Stabilizer: - OPTO, W.MS4K4 on 13 Nov 2007 from LP ELECTRONICS(O)PVT.LTD, BUXI BAZAR, CUTTACK, ORISSA.When I purchase they assured me to provide regular service facilities as per company rules since installation no body visited for servicing purpose, during installation one group went and damage my roof which cause of flood in my room during rainy days and created difficulties for me they charged Rs 1200/+ fuel charge during installation, again I request to LP ELECTRONICS(O)PVT.LTD to change the location they sent group after few month who took charge Rs 2000/ for shifting the position from roof, after that I found AC not working properly and tripping regularly and some kind of burning smell generating during running of A/C. Personally I went 02 time and given them written complain after so many remainder by phone no body came, after few week when Came back to UAE A/C was stopped working when my family called them they told may be stabilizer problem on phone no body checked on field then I made complain on trade India then OPTO people came and checked and found no problem with stabilizer problem with A/C.
                    Can you kindly help with favor to solved my this problem, I am thinking I expensed my money not in good way by purchasing this product which became tension for me and unrest for my family

                    Respected Sir/ Ma'am,

                    I am a customer from Rajkot, Gujarat and last year I bought a Samsung phone (S3500) on 7th April, 2009. Before 15 days my cell phone incurred a problem and I showed the phone to the Service Centre in Rajkot and they said that a belt inside it is needs to be replaced but the belt is out of stock. Its been 15 days and they are saying that it will be available only after 2nd April.

                    I would like to inform you that the service provided is very poor and it should be immediate. How is it possible that a service centre does not have a belt and does it take such a long time for the stock to arrive? The Company is losing on its goodwill just because the customers are not at all satisfied with the after sales service that it provides. I am seriously upset with the way the service is provided.I would also like to inform you that I am not at all going to pay the cost of that belt if it gets replaced after 7th April, when the warranty ends.

                    I hope that you will kindly take this into notice and provide the service as soon as possible.

                    Data missing .When I complaint regarding this to your manager, his behavior was terrible and irresponsible. I felt so gloomy with his reply.

                      1. Purchased one Samsung 1 ton AC model 122KA-Sl No A312PZA5404802 on 12-06-09, and subsequently delivered by Ms Rohit Refrigeration Co Kolkata vide CM no 1347 dt 15-06-09.
                      2. After waiting for 4 days, made a call to your service centre on 20-06-09 at 11.20 am to get the machine started-refer No [protected] requesting to depute Tech on 21-06-09
                      3. A call was received from your franchisee the same day evening who agreed to depute a person by 3 pm on 21-06-09
                      4. Waited the whole of evening of 21-06-09, but nobody turned up, nor was I informed of failing to turn up.
                      5. Again after waiting till 24-06-09, when nobody bothered to enquire about my call regd of 20-06-09, I again regd a call on 25-06-09 for starting of the machine, . Confirmation recd vide SMS the same day at 9.57 Am. But the Result was same-nobody bothered to call back nor respond though this was the 2nd Call Regd in a span of 5 days.
                      6. Being helpless, tried to contact any Sr Service Personal of Samsung, to bring to their notice, but no body was being allowed to give names or Tel nos, or Mail IDs .
                      7. Thru some source on[protected]thru helpline I could get the following Mobile no [protected], but was of no use, as the person who took the call refused to listen to my grievance nor willing to provide me any information of Samsung service Personal, leave alone taking care of my complaint..
                      8. On 27-06-09 I could get another cell no [protected] who referred himself as one Mr Randhir, and after explaining to him about the pains, and agony I had been facing, was surprised of his way of talking, leaving aside solving my problem. Again when I insisted to let me know about Sr service Personal, he refused to provide.

                      I will wait for another two days (till[protected] for Sr Samsung personal to respond to following -:
                      • Why my calls of 20-06-09, 24-06-09, were not given cognizance-?
                      • Why your personal fear to provide names of sr Samsung executives?
                      • Who will compensate my losses?
                      • Why should I not return the Samsung Ac.?
                      • Why should I not go to consumer court for the harassment metted by your people from 21-06-09 till date?

                        T.V. complaint was registered with Samsung Help Line on 17th May 09 vide no.[protected] The T.V. was inspected & it was intimated that GUN needs replacement due to leakage of Coolant. approx. cost intimated at around 20, 000. I immediately authorized for repairs as IPL Matches were in progress. No action / response from M/s Samsung for quite some time. I contacted Mr. Naveen a Team Leader a number of times who intimated that spare part is not readily available. On subsequent enquires Mr. Naveen avoided my telephone calls. Matter again reported to the Help line 2-3 times when one Ms. Jayashree from Chennai intervened & held conference with Mr. Naveen 2 times who promised immediate action but no action at all. Then I approached Mr. Prashanth the Manager with the hope that he being a Sr. Officer will help in the matter. After usual initial assurance to look & revert no action taken by him also. He also started avoiding my phone calls. In the mean time T20 World cup started & I had no option but to buy a new LCD Sony TV. After a number of calls which were not replied & SMS messages I could contact Mr. Naveen who intimated that all the 3 Guns with one PCB Card need replacement Costing over 40, 000 Rupees. It may be mentioned here that one Gun was replaced last year only & this TV suffered repeated major breakdowns & was sent to Samsung workshop 2-3 times . So I proposed Mr. Naveen & Prashanth that because of the repeated problems & the quality of M/s Samsung TV being at stake let Samsung take back the TV & give me a reasonable depriciation amount by cheque as I have already purchased the new TV . This TV being out of production & the parts required are not readily available. Moreover the huge repair cost of over 40, 000.00 & the earlier amount spent make this repair beyond economical repairs. Therefore the TV needs to be declared the case of total loss. So that I can claim some amount from the Insurance Company with whom it is insured for the break down. No action On any of the options incl. repairs has been taken by them so far. & instead of giving a solution, all concerned are not even responding to my phone calls. Even I tried to contact ms Jayasree again at Chennai but of no avail. Hope Samsung appreciate my problem, time lost in repair & consequent loss of IPL Matches entertainment & hope they will come to my rescue & help me for the sake of their reputation.

                          I had purchased a Samsung Washing Machine in Sept 2007.On the 24th June 2009, it stopped working I made a complaint with the Official Samsung call centre. A technician was sent that very day to service it. He opened the machine, supposedly checked it and said it would now work fine. An hour after he left my residence the SAME PROBLEM came up. So obviously he had done NOTHING about my complaint. On 26th I made a complaint again. I was told the technician would visit my residence and NOBODY turned up.On 27th I made a complaint still again...the 3rd time, this time I was informed that the defect part of my machine which needed to be replaced would take 6 days to arrive in Mumbai...so what am I supposed to do waiting for nearly 10-12 days for my almost brand new Samsung Washing Machine to be repaired? I have a small child besides other family members who depend on the Samsung Washing Machine. I can understand a big company like Samsung taking 2-3 days to attend to a complaint but expecting the customer to wait for 10-12 days is ridiculous. Besides the attitude of the staff – I was arrogantly told that I have no option but to wait, and if I pleased I could go ahead and write complaints in the newspapers etc….we don’t care. The Audacity of them!!And the call centre passing the buck onto the service centre and the service centre just throwing their hands up .Besides I would like to know from SAMSUNG, how does a 1 ½ year old machine get spoilt in such a short time? This episode has convinced me never to buy a SAMSUNG product again and I would implore the consumers out there to becareful before you purchase a Samsung product coz you never know when they are going to give you a hard time for your hard earned money spent on their third rate products.

                          less than 2 years time. We had earlier used Whirlpool machine and it worked for almsot 12 /15 years without any problem

                          And on contacting Samsung toll free number for last 2 days, finally they
                          gave us contact number of their Mumbai authorised service centre but their service man insisted to give
                          xerox of the bill than only they can change the part. and are very arrogant in their attitude.

                          The Service centre should tell us that xerox copy of bill is required if any part needs to be changed
                          since we can not keep zerox machine in the house and more over zerox shop may not be
                          next door to yuor house.

                          I stronlgy like to suggest to our fellow citizens to refrain from buying Samsung any of the product.

                            I'm sure I’m not the only "brand loyal" consumer who bought Samsung product on company's goodwill and I regret to say that I’ve been duped by your company when I bought Samsung 1 Ton Window A/C, Model No. AW12ZKB on 23rd May 2009 from SETH Enterprises, Railway Road, Rani Bagh, New Delhi. I started facing the following problems, from the very first day of operating it.

                            (1) Absolutely NO cooling in the room.
                            (2) The "on-off " cycle of compressor doesn’t start in stipulated time
                            frame of 3 minutes.
                            (3) Fan takes more time to switch off at initial starting, as well as between the cycle,
                            making the room more hot, before the cooling can take place again.
                            (4) At times, compressor starts before the fan, while the a/c has been operated at the
                            initial stage itself

                            I've been lodging my complaint (both oral & written) umpteen number of times with Samsung call center and they promise to send a 'senior engineer' but each time a local guy from Wazirpur service station turns up, simply 'looks' at the a/c, agrees that its’ not functioning properly, a 'defect' sticker is posted on the inside of my A/C and they still deny the problem.

                            We have also spoken personally with Samsung employee "Aman Aggrawal" at Wazirpur service station and his attitude was very disrespectful - very rude, did not listen to my complaint, instead kept vouching that my appliance is functioning properly and he will not do anything further to resolve my problem & disconnected the phone.

                            Today (26th June, 2009), also I spoke with the call center agent “Prachi Aggrawal Arora” and she too assured me that a Senior Engineer/Product Specialist will turn at my doorstep before 2 P.M. and I waited until 2:45 P.M. before I called back the call center and shift supervisor “Jyoti” passed my escalated call to Shiva ( I believe the floor manager) and he in turn made me speak with Aman Aggrawal who as usual was himself – disrespectful to consumers.

                            How long does my son, whose 22 months old needs to bear this “sweltering heat” of 45-47 Degrees Celsius. As parents we thought we were making our son’s life happy and comfortable, instead we discovered after buying your product that our thoughts and efforts were in vain – a terrible loss in terms of emotions, health and finances.

                            How many more written proofs need to be submitted and insults by Samsung employees to be borne before our concern will be handled properly.

                            Hope my grievance will be attended soon.

                              I bought this SCH-W619 for using both Reliance(CDMA) and IDEA(GSM) sims at the same time. I bought this before 6 months. Nowadays the phone is getting restarted while pressing #(space) key in writing messages and also while getting the balanca on GSM sim by calling *147#

                              I am fed up typing the message 3 - 4 times because of this issue.

                              Also it seems no application can be installed since this model does not support .jar files
                              I have a Samsung Max CDMA phone
                              i am also facing a similar problem
                              My phone restarts when i press the space key while typing a message.

                                  This is in refrence to lodge my complaint against Samsung India. I'm sure i'm not the only unhappy customer, who bought samsung product on company's goodwill, rather i've been duped by them when i bought Samsung 1 Ton Window A/C, Model No. AW12ZKB on 23rd May 2009 from SETH Enterprises, Railway Road, Rani Bagh, New Delhi. IMMEDIATELY I LODGED COMPLAINT ON PH NO[protected] AND AS PER COMPLAINT NO [protected], SERVICE ENGINEER VISITED MY HOUSE ( PLOT NO F-3 HOUSE NO 3423 ALOK-VIHAR SECTOR-50 NOJDA ON 28.03.2010. HE TOLD ME THAT TOTAL GAS IS LEAK DUE TO VALVE LEAKAGE. AND SERVICE ENGINEER ( MR PANKAJ) AND SERVICE CETRE EXECUTIVE ( MR AMZAD - M [protected]) ARE INSISTING ME TO FILL UP THE GAS. NOW, IF AT THIS STAGE GAS IS FILLED -UP THEN THERE ARE 100% CHANCES TO GET THE GAS LEAK IN NEXT SEASON AND CONTINUOSLY I WILL BE PAYING FOR GAS REFILL IN THE COMING YEARS
                                  NOW, AS THIS AC IS IN GUARANTEE PERIOD AND ONLY 4 MONTHS HAVE PASSED AND THIS IS GIVING A BIG PROBLEM TO ME, SO MAY KINDLY REPLACE THIS DEFECTIVE PIECE INTO ANOTHER NEW PIECE ON TOP PRIORITY

                                    I had purchased a Split Unit AC from Samsung Distributor -DBM Marketing (India) Pvt. Ltd for which order was placed and the entire payment made in the first week of June, and I still donot have an AC in running condition.
                                    My requirements were for 3 ACs - 2 pcs of 2 ton window units and 1 pc of 2 ton split unit. The Sequence of events are as follows:

                                    - 3rd week of May enquiry was sent. But since they didn't have stock for 2 ton window units, instead of telling us so... they mis informed us and we were told that Samsung has discontinued production of 2 ton window unit, but when we went to the market we found the same with another shop.
                                    - however we went ahead and ordered the split unit with DBM.
                                    Finally after multiple phone calls and follow up after 10 days we got delivery of the Split unit on June 17th, but no installation.
                                    Then on June 18th the installation people arrived... and we were informed that the a/c condenser didnt have gas... (implied a defective pc)... so our A/C was still not functional...
                                    On June 19th - the engineers arrived to fill gas... informed us that the gas was leaking... so cannot be filled.. we spoke to the DBM... being Friday... they promised that they would change the unit on Monday- June 22nd. Between then and now... we have called DBM, spoken to Samsung... and everyday multiple time... and all we here is in the afternoon, in the evening, its allready here, so tomorrow... last of this was this evening - was supposed to have been replaced this evening by 7:30pm... but I am still without an AC inspite o[censored]s having told them that its today or we would want our money back... but even that fell on deaf ears... at this point I am at the end of my tether and not sure what to do. Please help.

                                      The facts are as under:-

                                      1. I had purchased the Samsung E-250 Mobile Phone from one of the dealer in Borivali(East) viz. TOP 10 Mobile Store under proper working condition and with proper receipt.(I am having all the relevant documents.)

                                      2. The phone was working properly when suddenly there arose some difficulty and I contacted the dealer who referred me to the Service Centre of Samsung at Borivali(West).

                                      3. I went to the said service centre at Borivali(West) and I was required to deposit the mobile phone for about 15 to 20 days and after the repairs the phone was returned to me.

                                      4. Now recently I received the message from LOOP MOBILE that my phone is having an invalid IMEI Number. It was said that you can check your IMEI number by dialing *#06#. When I dialed *#06# I found the IMEI is shown as [protected]. I was shocked to see the IMEI no. all in zeros as when I purchased the phone there was an IMEI no. which is given on the original Bill and also which can be seen on the back of the phone.

                                      5. When I again contacted the service centre regarding the problem, I was told by one of the employee Mr. Sattar that I will have to pay some charges for getting the IMEI no. registered.

                                      6. My grievance is that --
                                      a. the phone is still under guarantee period.
                                      b. The mistake is not from my side as when I purchased the mobile phone there was a valid IMEI no.
                                      c. The IMEI no. was changed after giving the phone at service centre which I discovered when I checked it as per the message received from LOOP Mobile.

                                      It is therefore requested that necessary direction be given to the service centre to correct the problem, without any charge, within short period of time as the services of my phone (LOOP) was barred by the service provider because of having invalid IMEI no.

                                      Kindly do the needful at your earliest as I am facing problem due to non-working of the phone.

                                      my samsung mobile model SGH-X620 but now imei no. invalid
                                      my samsung mobile is three year old and continue in use but now is showing invalid imei no.
                                      please help me.
                                      i am saikiran and i am using samsung c140 handset i bought it from the registered dealer now it is in good condition but it is not working because it is showing as it is containing invalid imei no so can any one tell me how o solve the problem
