I had purchased a Samsung Washing Machine in Sept 2007.On the 24th June 2009, it stopped working I made a complaint with the Official Samsung call centre. A technician was sent that very day to service it. He opened the machine, supposedly checked it and said it would now work fine. An hour after he left my residence the SAME PROBLEM came up. So obviously he had done NOTHING about my complaint. On 26th I made a complaint again. I was told the technician would visit my residence and NOBODY turned up.On 27th I made a complaint still again...the 3rd time, this time I was informed that the defect part of my machine which needed to be replaced would take 6 days to arrive in Mumbai...so what am I supposed to do waiting for nearly 10-12 days for my almost brand new Samsung Washing Machine to be repaired? I have a small child besides other family members who depend on the Samsung Washing Machine. I can understand a big company like Samsung taking 2-3 days to attend to a complaint but expecting the customer to wait for 10-12 days is ridiculous. Besides the attitude of the staff – I was arrogantly told that I have no option but to wait, and if I pleased I could go ahead and write complaints in the newspapers etc….we don’t care. The Audacity of them!!And the call centre passing the buck onto the service centre and the service centre just throwing their hands up .Besides I would like to know from SAMSUNG, how does a 1 ½ year old machine get spoilt in such a short time? This episode has convinced me never to buy a SAMSUNG product again and I would implore the consumers out there to becareful before you purchase a Samsung product coz you never know when they are going to give you a hard time for your hard earned money spent on their third rate products.

Very poor Service

less than 2 years time. We had earlier used Whirlpool machine and it worked for almsot 12 /15 years without any problem

And on contacting Samsung toll free number for last 2 days, finally they
gave us contact number of their Mumbai authorised service centre but their service man insisted to give
xerox of the bill than only they can change the part. and are very arrogant in their attitude.

The Service centre should tell us that xerox copy of bill is required if any part needs to be changed
since we can not keep zerox machine in the house and more over zerox shop may not be
next door to yuor house.

I stronlgy like to suggest to our fellow citizens to refrain from buying Samsung any of the product.

    I'm sure I’m not the only "brand loyal" consumer who bought Samsung product on company's goodwill and I regret to say that I’ve been duped by your company when I bought Samsung 1 Ton Window A/C, Model No. AW12ZKB on 23rd May 2009 from SETH Enterprises, Railway Road, Rani Bagh, New Delhi. I started facing the following problems, from the very first day of operating it.

    (1) Absolutely NO cooling in the room.
    (2) The "on-off " cycle of compressor doesn’t start in stipulated time
    frame of 3 minutes.
    (3) Fan takes more time to switch off at initial starting, as well as between the cycle,
    making the room more hot, before the cooling can take place again.
    (4) At times, compressor starts before the fan, while the a/c has been operated at the
    initial stage itself

    I've been lodging my complaint (both oral & written) umpteen number of times with Samsung call center and they promise to send a 'senior engineer' but each time a local guy from Wazirpur service station turns up, simply 'looks' at the a/c, agrees that its’ not functioning properly, a 'defect' sticker is posted on the inside of my A/C and they still deny the problem.

    We have also spoken personally with Samsung employee "Aman Aggrawal" at Wazirpur service station and his attitude was very disrespectful - very rude, did not listen to my complaint, instead kept vouching that my appliance is functioning properly and he will not do anything further to resolve my problem & disconnected the phone.

    Today (26th June, 2009), also I spoke with the call center agent “Prachi Aggrawal Arora” and she too assured me that a Senior Engineer/Product Specialist will turn at my doorstep before 2 P.M. and I waited until 2:45 P.M. before I called back the call center and shift supervisor “Jyoti” passed my escalated call to Shiva ( I believe the floor manager) and he in turn made me speak with Aman Aggrawal who as usual was himself – disrespectful to consumers.

    How long does my son, whose 22 months old needs to bear this “sweltering heat” of 45-47 Degrees Celsius. As parents we thought we were making our son’s life happy and comfortable, instead we discovered after buying your product that our thoughts and efforts were in vain – a terrible loss in terms of emotions, health and finances.

    How many more written proofs need to be submitted and insults by Samsung employees to be borne before our concern will be handled properly.

    Hope my grievance will be attended soon.

      I bought this SCH-W619 for using both Reliance(CDMA) and IDEA(GSM) sims at the same time. I bought this before 6 months. Nowadays the phone is getting restarted while pressing #(space) key in writing messages and also while getting the balanca on GSM sim by calling *147#

      I am fed up typing the message 3 - 4 times because of this issue.

      Also it seems no application can be installed since this model does not support .jar files
      I have a Samsung Max CDMA phone
      i am also facing a similar problem
      My phone restarts when i press the space key while typing a message.

        i have reliance gsm mobile no. [protected]. i contact to customer care no 7-8 times but not get responce from them. i have not received gprs setting for my new hand set of SAMSUNG sghi780. kindly send me setting urgently.
        plz send the gprs recording in english video clip or in text with step by step method, we can't understand russian language.
        please send the step how can we set the GPRS setting in my new handset samsung SGH-i780 plz send me the steps for setting.

          Sir,

          This is in refrence to lodge my complaint against Samsung India. Despite of expressing my concern, each time they give me an illogical reason for a/c not functioning.

          I think all o[censored]s must head to consumer court in bulk to get Samsung notice us!

HE TOLD ME THAT TOTAL GAS IS LEAK DUE TO VALVE LEAKAGE. AND SERVICE ENGINEER ( MR PANKAJ) AND SERVICE CETRE EXECUTIVE ( MR AMZAD - M [protected]) ARE INSISTING ME TO FILL UP THE GAS. NOW, IF AT THIS STAGE GAS IS FILLED -UP THEN THERE ARE 100% CHANCES TO GET THE GAS LEAK IN NEXT SEASON AND CONTINUOSLY I WILL BE PAYING FOR GAS REFILL IN THE COMING YEARS
          NOW, AS THIS AC IS IN GUARANTEE PERIOD AND ONLY 4 MONTHS HAVE PASSED AND THIS IS GIVING A BIG PROBLEM TO ME, SO MAY KINDLY REPLACE THIS DEFECTIVE PIECE INTO ANOTHER NEW PIECE ON TOP PRIORITY

            I had purchased a Split Unit AC from Samsung Distributor -DBM Marketing (India) Pvt. Ltd for which order was placed and the entire payment made in the first week of June, and I still donot have an AC in running condition.
            My requirements were for 3 ACs - 2 pcs of 2 ton window units and 1 pc of 2 ton split unit. The Sequence of events are as follows:

            - 3rd week of May enquiry was sent. But since they didn't have stock for 2 ton window units, instead of telling us so... they mis informed us and we were told that Samsung has discontinued production of 2 ton window unit, but when we went to the market we found the same with another shop.
            - however we went ahead and ordered the split unit with DBM.
            Finally after multiple phone calls and follow up after 10 days we got delivery of the Split unit on June 17th, but no installation.
            Then on June 18th the installation people arrived... and we were informed that the a/c condenser didnt have gas... (implied a defective pc)... so our A/C was still not functional...
            On June 19th - the engineers arrived to fill gas... informed us that the gas was leaking... so cannot be filled.. we spoke to the DBM... being Friday... they promised that they would change the unit on Monday- June 22nd. Between then and now... we have called DBM, spoken to Samsung... and everyday multiple time... and all we here is in the afternoon, in the evening, its allready here, so tomorrow... last of this was this evening - was supposed to have been replaced this evening by 7:30pm... but I am still without an AC inspite o[censored]s having told them that its today or we would want our money back... but even that fell on deaf ears... at this point I am at the end of my tether and not sure what to do. Please help.

              AC producing noise, repeated complaints have not been answered

              I am Varun Sethi and an aggreived buyer of the SAMSUNG window AC model- AW12ZKA, from Sargam Electronics, 155 Kapil Vihar, Near Pitam Pura, Delhi, India.

              Purchase invoice number reference is 2939 from Sargam Electronics. Serial number of the AC unit sold to us is A312PZAS205732L.

              From day 1, my AC is producing irritating noise and this has been registered as complaint...

              Subject: SERIOUS COMPLAINT Service Centre at Borivali(West), Mumbai-400 092.

              The facts are as under:-

              1. I had purchased the Samsung E-250 Mobile Phone from one of the dealer in Borivali(East) viz. TOP 10 Mobile Store under proper working condition and with proper receipt.(I am having all the relevant documents.)

              2. The phone was working properly when suddenly there arose some difficulty and I contacted the dealer who referred me to the Service Centre of Samsung at Borivali(West).

              3. I went to the said service centre at Borivali(West) and I was required to deposit the mobile phone for about 15 to 20 days and after the repairs the phone was returned to me.

              4. Now recently I received the message from LOOP MOBILE that my phone is having an invalid IMEI Number. It was said that you can check your IMEI number by dialing *#06#. When I dialed *#06# I found the IMEI is shown as [protected]. I was shocked to see the IMEI no. all in zeros as when I purchased the phone there was an IMEI no. which is given on the original Bill and also which can be seen on the back of the phone.

              5. When I again contacted the service centre regarding the problem, I was told by one of the employee Mr. Sattar that I will have to pay some charges for getting the IMEI no. registered.

              6. My grievance is that --
              a. the phone is still under guarantee period.
              b. The mistake is not from my side as when I purchased the mobile phone there was a valid IMEI no.
              c. The IMEI no. was changed after giving the phone at service centre which I discovered when I checked it as per the message received from LOOP Mobile.

              It is therefore requested that necessary direction be given to the service centre to correct the problem, without any charge, within short period of time as the services of my phone (LOOP) was barred by the service provider because of having invalid IMEI no.

              Kindly do the needful at your earliest as I am facing problem due to non-working of the phone.

                Hello!

                We have bought a Samsung TV model no-29M21MA from Spectrum Trade & communication Center, Guwahati-3, Assam on 28th May'08. But after about 4 months we observed that there was discoloration of the screen at certain places. We lodged complaint at the local Samsung service station, the service boy checked the TV & said that he had replaced certain part of the TV but still the problem persisted. This time we said that we want a replacement as we were within the warranty period but the service station refused to do so & the TV was kept in the service station for about a month, they said that the picture tube was replaced but still the problem persisted. Now the spots appear to be green in color. Again when we complained they said that we have crossed warranty period & we will have to pay for any service. When we were facing trouble with the TV from the very beginning why did we not receive a replacement?????Were they waiting for the warranty period to be over to earn money on repairs????? What is the use of warranty then???? Also they do not have contact address/ email id at their website where we can register our complaint. Kindly HELP!

                I purchased a LCD TV from a dealer of Hyderabad. After 1 year and 2 months there is a vertical line appearing in the screen while running and two spots also in vertical order. I did a complain through e-mail please provide us the nearest dealer's name. But i am unable to get any response till now.

                  I had purchased a mobile phone model Samsung sgh f 270 from Hot Spot Mobile Store, D- 154, Kamla Nagar, Delhi-110007, Near north Campus, Universityof Delhi, vide bill no. 25/1222 dt. 16.06.09, ampuntingis Rs. 9400.00 + Rs.600.00 (InsurancePack) butrate was in other reputed Showroom in the Market Rs. 7600.00, and also on other situated Hot Spot Mobile Store WasRs.8100.00 and 8000.00. When i contected the HotSpot Mobile store, Kamla Nagar they refused to accept it and misbehaved with me.Mr.Mukesh Thakur, Manager of HotSpot had guarented me that the rate of the Mobile is the cheapest in the market and he is fully responsible if rate found less. Theu cheatedmeby Rs. 1800.00.The Ratesare notreliablein Hot Spot Mobile Store.

                  Hot Spot Mobile Store's Complaint — Rs. 1800.00 extra charged

                  I had Purchased a samsung SGH F 270 mobile phone from Hot Spot Mobile Store, Kamla Nagar, Delhi-110007 on 16.06.09 for Rs. 9400.00 but the rate was Rs. 7600.00 on other Reputed Mobile Store and Rs. 8100.00 and Rs.8000.00 on Hot Spot Mobile Store in other placesof Delhi.My Billno. is 25/1222 dt. 16.06.09. when i contected hot spot mobile store they refused to return Rs. 1800.00 or take back mobile back.I suggest Public at large that they should not buy any thing from Hot Spot Mobile Stores.i also request to suggest me what should i do now. please comment on my complaint.

                    Hello,

                    I bought this phone from E-ZONE Bangalore, around 3 weeks back. It worked fine for first 10 days. After that I am having a problem with the phone.

                    One hour after switching on the phone, the phone will go out of network coverage. The signal strength indicator on my phone shows FULL strength though. However if somebody calls my number, they gave a response saying my phone is switched off or out of network. Similarly if I call someone, it just don’t do anything and call will get disconnected or sometimes, it will say “No network coverage and only emergency calls”.

                    Sometimes when I was in the middle of conversation, there will be no voice for 10 seconds and it works again.

                    To nail down the problem, I kept the phone in different places (just to make sure of network coverage) and I had the same problem. I tried with different network service providers like airtel, idea and the problem remains same.

                    I went to the SAMSUNG service station, Domlur, Bangalore. They said it’s a software problem and re installed the software. However the problem still persists.

                    How to get this rectified ? whom should I approach, same service place again ?
                    Its not even 1 month completed, so should I get a replacement for this ?

                    Let me know immediately. It’s a pain to have a phone like this after spending around 10000 and within 1 month with the problem

                    even i have the same problem...i even got the mainboard changed, firmware upgraded..but still got the same problem as said by Mr.Mohan...but i guess i figured it out...when i remove the memory card(8GB microSD) and use the phone..it works fine.. i tested it for 2 days..i have also put a complaint on samsung's website..will see if they reply...i suggest you try removing the memory card..
                    But the service centre engineer used my hpone with a 2GB memory card and returned me the phone saying it works fine...i guess samsung star cannot handle 8GB memory card as declared...got to see where this issue goes...
                    i'll wait for a week and finally will have to approach the Consumer Forum to fight against Samsung as they are not ready for a refund or replace my handset with a proper working one...it's been a month that i've been facing this problem
                    Please help me in installing Java to my Mobile

                    the message limit being 500 shows full sms memory
                    the mobile network goes out of coverage often
                    the phone is slow even with 2GB memory card and it boasts of 8GB
                    i want samsung to look into this matter seriously
                    and will i get a replacement for the phone
                    the dealer told me to upgrade my version to get rid of these problems but as this phone has just launched why hasn't been upgraded by the company itself before selling it in the market to customers and damaging its goodwill in the market

                    I too faced lot of problems with this mobile. Just purchased on 25th july 09(2 days back). At the showroom only i was unable to call or recieve calls thoug there was full signal. I got another piece of mobile and found same issue. They asked me to contact airtel for this issue thinking its network problem but i dont think so. sim card which worked for other mobiles is not working for this handset?????????
                    the phone will go out of network coverage. The signal strength indicator on my phone shows FULL strength though. I can't recieve or send mesage's or even calls.

                    I will have to restart mobile each time i face this issue. This is a real pain

                    I face Similar Problems with this Cellphone, including the Phone Goes OFF when I put itin my pocket or inside its case . The screen gets FROZEN manytimes when in a call, the software displays several errors with java even with signed games!!!

                    Just 15 days ago I've purchsd this GT S5233A Sansung Handset. i'm having trouble with hang problem while call in process. After I disconnect the call it is still showing connected for additional 1/2 to 1 minute for incoming or outgoing calls. Also unable to send business card from this phone. Also sometimes it is getting restated automatically. Samsung executives are requested to look in to the matter and solve these problems.

                    I totally Agree with the above given comments on samsung star, i bought it just a week ago and today i had to render it to service center for repair, the problem being, phone is not switching on and not charging. service center says they need to replace the motherboard. why such mobiles are being made by samsung when they cannot compete with other companies and standards. its just a useless phone. Ucha Makaan Pheeka Pakwan.
                    when this phone receives 10-15 calls about 1 hour a day, the battery seems to be low. Before this model, i used the mobile of nokia, sony ericcission, motorolla, etc. among these models i found the battery of samsung not so strong. I would like to know about it.

                    I am fully agree with the comment of people that this is the worst phone ever made.I am also one of the sufferer by samsung star. It have all the above problems in most. Don't buy this phone better to save money for some another phone.

                    I have been installing java applications for this phone and i have done that many times. You have to install directly to the phone and not by downloading to a pc. I have not had any problem with the phone.
                    yes i do agree with all the complains as my phone touch screen got freezed and unable to operate by any means even after taking out memory card and sim. as there is no option for bringing menu on screen hence can not be reset also.

                    This mobile, i can say, is not a good mobile. I have not faced any hardware problems so far. But it's software is very poor...Touch screen sensitivity is good. I suggest LG Cookie for any one. It is available at same price and much more features.

                    This mobile only for those who use gadjets like facebook, flickr etc..

                    It has a number of '-' ves.
                    1. Biggest failure in Audio. Sound is very less compared to other mobiles (the main thing i needed).
                    2. No suport for 3rd party s/w's. Have to download from ur mobile.
                    3. All features are very basic...calculator doesn't have even 'MS', 'MR', 'MC' options.
                    4. Music player has no customizable equalizer. So sound is very less.
                    5. Setting a wallpaper is very difficult. Any wallpaper spreads over 3 screens. (3 desktops are available). So u have to resize any photo to 240*420 resolution. The remaining 2 screens will be only white screens.
                    6. After entering a number, u have no touch option for dialing. U have to press a hard button to dial that number.
                    7. Camera clarity is not that much good. Maximum photoes come in blur (like shaked ones).

                    I bought this phone one month back. From the day one, I am having a problem with the phone.

                    It usually go out of network coverage, specially when I disconnect my bluetooth handsfree. The signal strength indicator on my phone shows no network, even if other phone shows the full network of same provider though. However if somebody calls my number, they gave a response saying my phone is switched off or out of network. Similarly if I call someone, it just don’t do anything and call will get disconnected or sometimes, it will say “No network coverage and only emergency calls”.

                    I have installed PC studio provided along the phone for synchronising data to computer. First time I updated my phonebook from PC. But next time when I synchronized the phonebook get duplicate entries in phone as well as in the PC (Outlook). This was never happened with Nokia and its software.

                    Let me know, if anyone have a solution because it’s a pain, when you got out of coverage area, drop calls and duplicate entries in phonebook during synchronizing.

                    Firstly concerning the wallpapers. This is a unique kind of desktop and you must imagine it as being a large screen and you can scroll through it. Therefore you must make a 3 part wallpaper. example:

                    Call recording is not present.

                    Its touch screen is the BEST even better than the IPHONE and the call quality is only second best to the LG cookie!!

                    The music is quite good...not IPOD quality BUT the new technology gives a pleasant surround effect!

                    So this phone is very good if you use it well!! Its a touchscreen phone!! All touchscreen phones are fragile! Use it well!! Dont consider it as a NOKIA 1100

                    Only complain the back cover is hard to remove!

                    More than 10m stars have been sold...so there is bound to be some with some problems! That's why WARRANTY FOR 1 YEAR IS GIVEN!!!

                    Hi, I haven't seen this problem on the complaints, but when I charge my phone while it is on, it goes off and then I can't get it started again. It happened a few times but before I managed to get the phone on again. This time its gone. I bought this phone June 2009, so it's not even a year old and it is already doing this, don't knoe if it is a battery problem, either way it's not supposed to break after 8 months.

                      This is to bring to your notice the poor and pathetic service provided by your service center in sec 22 chandigarh. I have a samsung phone U600 which I got from London (from The Carphone Warehouse).
                      Though my phone was in warranty but these people asked me that since it is from outside india so I have to pay for it.
                      When i gave them the phone there was some problem in the display but it was coming up and the next day tey told me that since display is not coming properly they need to change the ribbon adn display both which would cost me 1750 rs. I had no option but to agree as they had already played their game and did the display malfunction but I got the phone after 1 month as they kept onlingering for one thing or other.
                      The attitude is so worng of the people working there. you just utter a word and they say openly dont take samsung products. but the peoblem didnt end there. it was just 20 days that the problem again came and since 4th June to till date 23rd June my cell is again wiht them. They have called me many a times on the context thta the phone is ok and when I go there they say that it has not been done.
                      Please let me know what need to be done in this case. I think I shall have to file a cunsumer court case now.

                      Samsung — Mobile phone U600

                      I had purchased a samsung mobile phone U600 last year, which is still under warranty.It is not working now i.e the battery is not charging.When I took it to their authorised service centre BHARAT COMMUNICATIONS AT RG Complex, DB Road, Delhi-the so called service engineer said it was a battery problem and he would check it.So I waited for nearly 2 hrs.Then on his recommendation bought a new battery for Rs 727/=.But till that battery was charged the phone worked fine and then went dead again.Next day when I went back to the service centre, on my insistence he opened the phone and then told me that fluid had gone into the charger IC which needed replacement at tha cost if Rs4300/- and since the damage was due to liquid it will not be covered under warranty.How a single drop of liquid can go into an absolutely undamaged phone with a cover on the charging port really baffles me????
                      Kindly advice.

                          I purchases a Samsung washing machine(wa85vanec/xtl, fully automatic washing machine 6.5 kg) from Noida, Sec-18 blow one and half month, but your demo engineer is not contract to me I call also your customer care 3-4 days but they told me contract to demo department they gave me engineers number but those number are not Wright they are wrong[protected]. Service complain no. [protected]
                          So plz take a action against it as soon as possible.

                            i have purchased samsung star mobile from andheri in may 2009 now some days before suddenly its touch screen function got stuck and not working.i produce the piece to service centre located at dombivali west .its pass 2 days and no reply from service centre what is the currect status of the mobile.Just want to know in only 1 month of time how such costly mobile got faulty.can i get replacement of the same.????
                            I got this error within 10 days on my brand new samsung star phone. i am a businessman so phone is very important i am not able to give phone to service center for some days and i don't have any alternate phone. i did a very big mistake to buy this phone..

                            i think nokia 1100 performance is good any other costly mobile. i am the new customer of samsung so very worst experience with samsung i thing we should not go for the samsung products..

                              Recently I have purchased TV, Refrigerator and DVD player its better to say ordered b'coz have not received items yet...from VARUN Electronics, Shashadripuram, Bangalore. which has been arranged by Samsung India (SISO). they said clearly the items will be delivered within 15 days, but not done. After 15 when i called their response was very poor and (they respond as if we took some loan and not paid...)... treating very badly...more over in frustration we asked the person who arranged, from the company HR SISO...his response was much worst than the dealer...after 1.5 months we got only TV and Refrigerator, still 1 item not delivered...
                              we could have gone to some other dealer and bought the items...

                                I purchased a Samsung DUOS C5212 model set on 13.06.2009 at The mobile store limited, 7/I P.R Complex, Bharathi Road, Cuddalore. But from the day of purchase, the SIM which I had already (postpaid Airtel), if inserted could see the contacts. I activated another SIM (Prepaid Airtel) and inserted into the Cell.Now I could not view any contacts, from both the SIM as well as the contacts in the phone. So I purchased another new SIM and this also when inserted shows the error "entry emplty". But if the same sim was inserted into my old mobile I could see the contacts. Also the person at the receiving end could not hear my voice clearly, certain times there is echo at the other end and the other times the voice is not clear. The new cell was purchased only 10 days back. Please make arrangements for me to exchange the set or I will take the matter to consumer court. But in the show room they refused to exchange the set. I tried 3 new SIMS with the set but all the three when inserted refused to show the contact details, but when only my old postpaid SIM was inserted, I could see the contacts of that SIm as well as that in the phone. Expecting your favourable reply for which I would be much happy for I have spent 7000 in that set and 10 days up and down the show room wasting my time, petrol and energy.

                                I disagree with your comments or may be the model you purchased is defective.
                                4 days ago, i also purchansed the same model C5212 from Pune and its working fine for me. I am able to receive calls from both the SIM. Also I was able to view contacts of both the SIM. But usualy I use to store contacts in phone memory itself rather than SIM. I haven't suffered by sound quality while talking yet. May be the case that the mobile you purchased is defective.

                                If your model is defective then you should raise your complain.
                                I m using Tata Docomo and Reliance sim but not activate at a time.Plz help me.
                                i am unable to send sms from one of my number of idea from c5212... on another phone the number sends sms successfuly... please help me...

                                    customer care center bad experience

                                    when we contacting at toll free no, of companines very bad experience with those who are speaking in hindi. care peoples are very uncomfort with our national langauage and telling if you complaint in hindi phoned at new delhi on chargeble phone. toll free number is only for english speaking person. it means income from india and insultin national langauage.
