# concern on refund / replacement policy #

Dear sir,

With utter disappointment and inconvenience i am forced to write this complaint against snapdeal.

This is regarding my order for infocus mobile with below details (Screenshot attached):

Infocus m370i (8gb)
Color: white
Order id: [protected]
Suborder id: [protected]
Placed on 07 sep, 2016

10-sep-2016

1. Received the product on 10-sep-2016
2. Instead of white color phone they have sent me the black one
3. Since i have gifted it to my dad and in order to avoid the hassles of replacement process we decided to keep the black version

13-sep-2016

1. Noticed issues with the lock / unlock button. The button was not responding properly
2. Decided to go for replacement / refund

14-sep-2016

1. Raised a replacement / refund request online with the below details:
"ordered for white product, received black one. Also, the lock/unlock button is not responding properly"
2. Same day the product was picked-up from my home by the courier guy.

17-sep-2016

1. The order status was updated to "replacement request is declined. Returned item will be sent back to you."
2. Till this point of time nobody from snapdeal has contacted me regarding the replacement request

From that day, i have been continuously following up with snapdeal customer care but there was no proper response. Below is the day wise record of my calls with customer care:

17-sep-2016 03:42 pm

1. Mentioned about the issue and asked why the quality check is failed and my request is declined.
2. As per the executive, since there was a mismatch in ordered product and delivered product, the quality check can be bypassed and you should definitely get the replacement / refund.
3. She assured me that she will escalate this issue and you can expect the call from snapdeal by the end of day.

18-sep-2016 11:41 am

1. I called up and mentioned that i haven't got any call from snapdeal as promised
2. The executive said, since it is sunday, no senior executive is available.
3. She again assured me that she will escalate this issue and you can expect the call from snapdeal in next 24 hours

20-sep-2016 10:08 am

1. Still there was no call / email from snapdeal. I called up customer care and explained everything again.
2. I was told again that you can expect the call from snapdeal in next 24 hours.
3. I told her i am fed up of hearing this. She assured that someone will call me.

Finally, on 21-sep-2016 i got a call from snapdeal but there was a shock in store for me. The executive told me that you have received what you have ordered and there is no mismatch. I asked her to check in the system and see what i have ordered. She then said someone from snapdeal will get back to you on this.

1. There was no call / email from snapdeal. I called up customer care and explained everything again.
2. This time the customer care executive was very rude and told me that "there is no mismatch and you will have to accept the product".
3. I asked him to check the system and let me know which color i have ordered. He said as per the system, you have ordered, you have ordered white phone. Then i said that i have received the black one. He then said, no sir you have received the white one only. I was shocked on hearing this.
4. He said, during quality check we didn't found any mismatch and hence you will have to accept the same product.
5. I questioned him, you are sending me the same product and if i will get the black one. Should i still accept it? He said, yes. Nothing can be done, you have to accept the product.

This last call has shaken my belief in the online shopping system and for the first time it made me realize how helpless we (The genuine customers) are in such cases.

Sir, i would request you to please go through this case and call recordings and decide yourself who is at the fault here.

Advertising can certainly help you capture the market but in order to sustain in this competitive world at the end of the day what really matters is "service quality and customer satisfaction".

    I found the mobile with manufacturing defect (Speaker problem)
    I returned the mobile on 14.09.2016 & after follow up for 6-8 times i m not getting response from snapdeal for returning of money.

    I purchased Eureka forbes Car vaccum cleaner.
    Today product got delivered at my office address at Teva Pharma Verna Goa.
    I opened product today & found that, the product is already used product.

      Hi,
      I have placed order for Wybor 40-MI-15N06 102 cm (40) Full HD LED Television from snapdeal on 8th September 2016 worth 17700 INR, my order number is [protected]. I have received TV on 15th from GATI courier, when I opened it, the front LED panel was broken, immediately I repacked item and created replacement order, it took 7days no one picked it, finally I have sent it from DTDC frommy money, it reached to snapdeal QC department Mumbai on 23rd and within couple of hours I got msg that QC check is denied and they are sending TV back to me. I need either my money back or replacement of my item as I am victim of either courier company or snapdeal. Please support me asap.

            Hi

            After getting a shocking response from your team who seems to be hand in glove with fake suppliers i am writing it to you.

            We bought 2 pairs of Ray Ban Sunglasses RB3025 W3277 and immediately on receipt of the same we returned it since the products were fake. The packaging and the product was too different from the same design we had been buying directly from Luxxottica in bulk for the past 3 years.

            One of the packet was not even opened since the first unit itself was disappointing.

            On following up on our refund request we received a message that the units returned did not meet YOUR quality standards and refund cannot be initiated.

              I have ordered a seagate backup slim 1tb hdd from your website on 19 sept. 2016 and I received it on 21sept. But after I found it defective and requested for return but by I don't want to replace it, I want to refund it, so I accidently cancelled the request then I had called customer service and told him about the matter and he said he has transferred my refund request to the senior authority and it will be solved within 48 hours and send me the details by mail but still didn't receive any mail concerning my refund... What to do.??? Help me.. I am very disappointed. I have only 5 days left and after you will say that "our 7 day return policy is over we can't help you". So please make it fast and refund my money in my bank account.

                  This is the ridiculous service I ever faced in my life in online shopping. After buying this product, the seller denied to install the product and I had to call to the snapdeal team. Although, the your team refunded the money, nbut after few days, product stopped working, I tried calling customer care of Snapdeal but there was no one to respond, I called 100+ times to the seller, he responded me only one time, A mechanic came to resolve the issue, the product started working but again after 3 days, it stopped working. Now I am trying to call the seller, they are not responding and not getting any help from snapdeal as well. Kindly help me in this!

                      I placed an order for multiple items thru their app. Then after some time I decided to cancel one of the items. To my surprise the app won't allow me to do so. It kept prompting to call customer care number. On dialing the mentioned number, first of all it is completely automated, no customer representative to speak to and that stupid Robotic voice will only allow to cancel the entire order and not a specific item. So I went ahead and cancelled entire order. Now after 10 days I have started receiving refund for one item at a time but they are deducting on an average ₹200+ from every item price that I paid. Overall they will be refunding me ₹2000 less than what I paid for the order.

                      After multiple followups and sharing the credit card statement for concerned period I received a call today from Shivani (Snapdeal executive).
                      I was surprised by the attitude Snapdeal has towards refunds. I was asked to share the statement again only from date of purchase to today's date! I could not find any such option to generate PDF credit card statement for specific date range. That was the reason I had shared the latest generated statement which covers the date of purchase (sep 10) till 20th September. The unbilled statement does not show up any transactions. But the Snapdeal executive kept on insisting that they need statement from date of purchase to today's date without which they will not be able to initiate refund. This is the most bizzare conversation I had, trying to explain things which is not technically possible.

                        I have bought F&D Speakers on 23rd of August 2016. i received them on 30th.
                        They were faulty as their woofers were not working.so i called them within an hour for replacement or refund. they took it back on 31st. now i called them about 20 times and first they said that they were rejected in a quality check. Then they said that they accidentally put the rejection on some other product.every time they say that you will receive the refund within 24 hours sometime they say in 48 hours or within 3 days. its been about 25 days and i have not receive my money back. I have to buy that product so i bought it from some other place. Every time they i call, they tell me the same problem and say it will be resolved soon, but it never did. in the order section of my account, it is showing "refund successful" but i never recieve my money back. Please help me. I want my money back but i do not think they are planning to give it to me any time soon.

                          I ordered Sony SBH20 Bluetooth headset cost INR 1850 on 04th Sep 2016 (Order ID: [protected] & Invoice No. [protected]) on 9th i got a cancellation mail that seller can't fullfill your order so your order is cancelled, on the contrary i got a message that your product will be delivered by today (i.e. 09th Sep. 2016).
                          After receiving that product i check and i saw that seal was open and product seems to be a used product or even not the original one (in short not genuine one).
                          I complaint for the same and ask for replacement and they picked my product on 12th sep 2016 (AWB: SND2886021), since then i am following up regularly neither they are giving me replaced product nor they are giving me my money back.

                          So i here request you to do the needful.

                            I ordered nikon mh24 battery charger and el14 a battery through snapdeal for total amount 1660/- it got delivered 21 september. Both battery and charger looks like genuine since it has all nikon logos holograms and all.. Since i started using it i faced many problems in my camera and when i went for service they informed me that the products are fake and not original.. And now iam not able to return products as 7 days is over.. Please take action against snapdeal and i need my money back.. My account details

                              After returning this product (Sony Xperia Z3+) for some reason, it failed in Snapdeal's quality check on 3 September 2016 as i had not given the appropriate reason of sending this product back. I had mailed and called their advisors and even seniors many times but all in vain.
                              After a lot of misery they got this product re delivered to me but after opening the packing, i was shocked to see no phone in it also there was no charger. Only earphones were present in the box that too a used one. I am totally dismayed and don't know what to do. I called the customer care many time but they are just putting my problem on hold and not doing anything. Lost my 30K, never going to shop from this website again.

                                Snapdeal has the worst return policy. I asked to return a product and repeatedly kept calling them. They just told they will arrange for pick up but no one came. Their courier partners are worse. They didn't call me and then said that I wasn't available. Even after repeated reminders no one came to pick up my product. They just made promises and because of them I lost my money for a product I don't need.

                                  Hello, my Name is Palash Jain. I have ordered one JBL T100A In Ear Earphones With Mic (Black), ORDER ID - [protected], from Snapdeal.com on 8th September 2016. They Have promised me to deliver it to me by 14th Sep 2016, but on 14 I received a text message reagring the late delivery of the product. They said me that the revised date is from 16th-sep-2016 to 20-Sep-2016. But i had not got my product on the revised date. When i tried to track my Order it was showing that the product through gojavas(the courier company) is in Ahmedabad transit. But the product is not deliver to me till 21st morning. And on 21st morning I received a message that Your JBL T100A In Ear Earphones With Mic (Black) could not be delivered without giving any reason that why it got cancelled. I request you take some action for this case so that this kind of things should not happen again.

                                    Dear Snapdeal team,

                                    I have an ongoing complaint from the beginning of this month.
                                    The case is as follows:
                                    -first i ordered 3 items.
                                    -later i cancelled 2 of the items.
                                    -The order which i had cancelled gets delivered at my place and my mother accepted it unknowingly and paid for the product.
                                    -i opened the package at end of the day and notice that it was product that i had cancelled and the product looked completely FAKE with no invoice.
                                    -The cancelled product should had been samsung Bluetooth headset but the box contained some unbranded cheap Bluetooth headsets.
                                    -I had called up the customer care number immediately when i noticed the problem
                                    -The customer care after several calls and requests, sent someone for pickup of the product.
                                    -Product gets picked up
                                    -I get call from your quality team saying that the refund got rejected as there was a problem in the quality check of the product. I said the the problem was from ur side but he was not capable of handling my case.
                                    -from that day till now i had been repeatedly calling customer care and explaining my problem. All i got was false promises. The customer executives gave 100% assurances that my problem will be solved.
                                    -I even sent the receipt of the product pickup but that too didn't help.
                                    -Now i am left with no product and no money.
                                    I have been a victim of a fraud and your customer service have failed to resolve this issue.They cant even take a follow up of this case.

                                    My patience is now over and I am planning to lodge a complaint at consumer court on monday. I have all necessary evidence of call records and emails.

                                      Hello Snapdeal,

                                      This is to bring to your attention that I have ordered Worldtech car player Order ID: [protected] which I received a completely different product M-Audio car player than what I have ordered.
                                      I wrote to snapdeal about it, received a call from the snapdeal esclation team that this won't be repeated again and I can order the product that I need.
                                      Last week I ordered another Worldtech car player from Snapdeal Order ID: [protected], again I received different product M-Audio this was the same that I received earlier and I had to return the product.

                                      Very much disappointed with the kind of service Snapdeal provides.
                                      Snapdeal promised that this won't be repeated again but that same incident occured twice.
                                      Hope this time Snapdeal will take some action.

                                        Hello Snapdeal,

                                        I ordered "Redmi Note 3 (32 GB) Dark Grey Color, on September 8 and received the product on September 9. There was no physical damage to the product/package. But when I switched on the smartphone, there was a color smudge (dripping colors) on top left corner of the phone which is an internal damage. So, I immediately call the Snapdeal customer care and arranged for a reverse pickup for replacement/refund and the product was reverse picked up on September 10 and was delivered to Snapdeal on September 13 and was rejected on the same day with the reason " Return request is declined. Returned item will be sent back to you."

                                        Since September 13, I have been calling Snapdeal customer care every day until today and customer care representatives are saying that “we’re arranging for a call back from our quality team and you will receive a call back within 24 hours”. Every day I call to the customer care regarding this and I get the same update. It’s been more than 10 days and I haven’t yet received a call back/replacement product or refund amount.

                                        I’d request you to do any of the following

                                        1. Give me a call back and provide a proper/correct update on the return request.
                                        2. Replace my product.
                                        3. Refund my amount (Rs 11, 999).

                                        I still have the confidence and trust that you would resolve this issue ASAP. I’m hoping to hear you back soon.
