Dear we have been complaining for last 6 or 7 months regarding the double claim lodged in my stan cha credit card ending with 3136. Also raised over 6-7 complaint Nos in vain without getting any solution in addition complaint form has been faxed 4 times to designated FAX No. All Nodal office/ principle officer/card.services etc. Has been mail and hard copies of every communication and complaint form sent. Till date no action has been taken but recovery people keeps on visiting my resi., makes numerous calls and SMS. Requested you to please solve the issue at the earliest. As usual stan chart replied on 14th Mar 2014 and asked for a 20 days time after persuasion for the final outcome, usually they ask for 45 days but never come up with any solution or even a single line of reply.

Although they said that they will keep us on loop on the matter for any further progress but till date no feed back or communication has been received from them.

    Hi, As i was the member of standard charted credit card earlier & details of card is [protected]. I have raised a complaint for multiple times on extra charges, which has been debited in my account but there is no response from the bank. So, i didn't pay the credit card bill till i get a reply. At last, we made a settlement of that card & has been told that my rating in the cibil will not be effected. So, i made the settlement & closed the card as suggested by bank person(agent). But when i tried to apply for new card now from other bank, they have said that my cibil rating is decreased because of this mistake done by the bankers of Standard Charted employees. Please verify my old payments, which are paid before due date & change my rating to cibil as i have cleared all dues to the bank. I didn't expect this type of service from the prestigious bank like Standard charted & hope the bank still favours the customers like me. Please provide me the Control Number for raising a complaint on this issue & need to be escalated if it is not solved. Please call me on [protected] for further clarifications.     Thanks for responding asap.
    Could you please send me the status, which you are going to be updated to CIBIL records & can you please send me that report as well. Also, i wanted to know the e Control Number of this issue, in-case of need to raise a complaint. Even though after paying the total amount & closed the account i don't know why Standard Charted bank is doing this wrong status updates of their customers. It is really effecting us a lot because of your bank. I don't want to suggest your services for any of known persons to me if this is not resolved asap.

      I took a Standard Chartered credit card one year back and at the time of issuing the card it was told that for first year there is no annual fees and from second year onwards there will be annual fees if I wanted to continue. After using the card for 2 months I wanted to cancel the card and informed the same to the customer care. After one year I received a bill showing the annual fee amount, so immediately I called the customer care and checked. The customer care executive told me that my card is still active and said he will raise request to deactivate the card and another request to cancel the card. He also mentioned that no need to pay any amount against the bill. But still I am getting the bills every month with interest is adding up along with late fee. Blockage Request Number:[protected] Cancellation Request Number:[protected] Could you please look into this issue and do the needful.

        Dear Sir,

        I am CA. Ankit Bansal, working as Manager (Accounts) in Torishima Pumps (India) Pvt Ltd (TPIPL), a Private Limited Co. We are
        maintaining our current account with Standard Chartered Bank, DLF Gurgaon Branch since incorporation of our
        company. Our major banking functions are done through Standard Chartered only.
        We have been depositing challans
        regarding statutory payments through Standard Chartered Bank till 31.07.2013.
        My complaint is as follows:


        1.Late processing of TDS submission application to government

        2.This issue was not over, another mistake made by SCB in regards with TAN no
        put wrongly due to which again we have to pay heavy penalty with no fault of
        ours.

        3.In regards with putting wrong Service Tax no on challan due to which we had
        high interest and penalty we have to pay.

        The above mentioned issues have been detailed in ‘Annexure’ enclosed, many more issues that we
        have come across for which we are completely dis-satisfied.

        We have had repeatedly conveyed to bank through various mails and letters about
        the mistake made at their end but unfortunately neither there has been any
        support nor any positive response from them regarding any compensation that
        needs to made on us.

        Annexure

        1. Late processing of TDS submission application to government

        There were many instances in regards with late processing by SCB due to which
        interest is levied on us. Presently there is a demand of Rs 8000 for the same.
        (Details enclosed)

        2. Wrong quoting of TAN in Challan

        This issue has been pending since October 12. As mentioned in point no 2, SCB
        had in their letter Ref No 11/12/004913/LIB dated 8th November 2012 accepted
        the error made by putting wrong TAN but when reminded again wide letter dated
        July 16, 2013, another letter Ref No 07/13/108942/LIB dated 2nd August
        2013 with ambiguous statement stating that challan was processed on the basis
        of TAN number mentioned by us, which is countering your earlier letter as
        mentioned above.

        (Documents enclosed). Presently there is a demand of Rs. 329, 520 for the same
        against us on TRACES website.

        3.Service Tax

        Identical error was repeated while processing service tax challan in March 2013
        for Rs. 1, 187, 130. Assessee code quoted
        by us was AADCT7009ASD001 but in challan it was quoted as AADCT7009ASD002.
        Because of which we are facing a hefty interest and penalty provision amounting
        to Rs. 335, 370. (Documents and Calculations enclosed)

        I and one of my colleague Shri. Hitesh Sharma,
        also visited the bank to discuss the matter with the Branch Manager, Mr. Deepak Sachdeva(M
        No: [protected]), and was assured that issue will be closed within 10 days. But
        I am very sorry to inform that it is still pending.

        Yesterday we had a teleconference with the same matter with SME head Mr. Prateak Tandon
        (Prateak.[protected]@sc.com), but again there was no solution arrived for the same.

        As informed over telephone they are still in confusion as to which Profit and
        loss head the compensation amount should be debited, and that's why our issue
        is being delayed, even if bank is being informed that TDS demand notice has
        been received and last date for replying it also has been passed.

        As you can easily make out in the above para
        which shows that bank is only concerned about it's internal presentation of financials rather work towards resolving our
        issue which is more severe.

        So your kind intervention is needed as we have already have received TDS demand
        notice and is pending because of bank only.

            Dear customer service team CARD NO - [protected] Now this the height of worst customer service experience. Since last one year there hasn't been a single month that I haven't been disappointed with you guys. Every month I found some discrepancy in the credit card statement. Last month also your bill included the late payment fee of Rs 500, however I made the payment before due date(31st Dec'13), Once I mailed you about this error you accepted(check trail mail) and you promise to waive of the amount in next bill cycle, The same is neither waived off nor reflecting in this month statement. This month again you charged me late payment fee of Rs 500, however I have again made the payment before due date(31st Jan'14) even same is reflecting in the statement itself, still I have been charged Rs 500. I don't understand why this Fraudulent and fake practices are done by standard chartered bank. Now this is high time to disconnect relation with you and take some legal action. The way Standard chartered is cheating me is out of my patience and giving me immense mental torcher and harassment. Let me connect with my legal team and see what worst can be done. See you..

            I have already writen to feedback team. They are saying me to pay the bill and they will waive of next time. Same was commited earlier also but not waived off. There is no more trust on u guys.
            You standard chartered people are making people fool and doing unethical trade practices.
            I have already break and thrown the card and request every one to not to take card with standard chartered.

                Name : Santosh Shetty Phone :[protected] I have Applied For a Personal Loan in Standard Chartered Bank. The Sales Executive Mr. Suraj and his colleague Mr. Dilip Kumar Pandit, after confirming From Mr. Pravin Singh, has assured me that the loan will be processed on following terms, Loan Amount - 500000/-, Rate of Interest - 14.5%, Processing Fees - 1%, Tenure - 48 Months. But after taking all documents and post dated cheques from me, they told me that they can process the loan on 15% instead of 14.5%. I clearly told them on 30/Jan/2014 that do not process the loan and return the documents. Then I approached to another bank for the loan. But today I received the loan amount from Standard Chartered in my account without my consent. When I inquired in Standard Charted Kalyani Nagar Branch, Mr. Pravin Singh, Sales Manager told me that the loan is disbursed on following terms, Loan Amount - 500000/- Rate of Interest - 15% Processing Fees - 1 % Tenure 60 Months. When I Asked for Documents of Loan Mr. Pravin Singh told me that he cannot provide me the documents saying all processing is done at chennai. He has provided me only RFES ID : 2119537 Because of all this nuisance, I don't want any loan from Standard Chartered bank. Pl help me to cancel the loan without any charges as the bank representative cheated me. Request You to Please Do The Needful.

                Sir/Madam,

                Yesterday your bank's sales representative Mr. Pravin Singh came to my office. He verbally assured to me that the tenure of the loan can be reduced from 60 months to 36 months. And bank will not charge anything for the same. The EMI difference (between 60 months EMI and 36 Months EMI) will either be adjusted in remaining 35 EMI or I have to give separate cheques for the same. And for this I only have to give request letter for the tenure change.
                Accordingly I have given the request letter yesterday 11th Feb 2014. But Today on 12th Feb 2014 Mr. Pravin Singh called up me saying the request letter should only consist of request for tenure change and their should not be anything related to charges or EMI adjustment ( which he committed verbally).

                Since I do not have any written proof for above, I have not given any letter to him today.
                Pl suggest what should I do.

                  Dear sir, My credit card no [protected] I am facing regular complaint on settling payment to scb . the problem is if I am doing some purchase and settling payment through online ok . where as if the payment is in EMI style ie instabuy account then i will be in trouble . I use to pay through online without delay every month. I am not paying any part amount or minimum amount whatever total amount just settling it finished . Now the problem is simply scb is sending message that I have to pay over due amount with interest .I strongly feel that scb is not understanding customer problem . If i paid the amount in total due in case any accounting issue for scb they should sort it out immediately by sending sms or they can call for better relationship with their customer Instead they are making un necessary irritation to the customer. I am using hdfc card from the past 8 yrs i did not face any such issue because there is no separate track to pay the payment in their statement. My card limit in hdfc is 4 lacks .                     Hi, I am durga prasad working in IBM as Technical Lead, I am using the credit card from last 5 years and never faced any problem but now I am having a changed allmost 5, 000 for delay for 2 days with the dure date. I requested number of times to the CSR but they are responded very redually. Following are the wrong charges

                    13/05/2015 A4SERVICE TAX @ 12.36% INR 521.56 DR
                    13/05/2015 A4INTEREST INR 4, 219.71 DR

                    21/05/2015 B2OVER LIMIT FEE INR 500.00 DR
                    21/05/2015 B2SERVICE TAX @ 12.36% INR 61.80 DR

                    06/06/2015 A3LATE CHARGES INR 800.00 DR
                    06/06/2015 A3SERVICE TAX @ 14.00% INR 112.00 DR

                    I am ready to pay all my credit amount nwith out these charges but they are not allowing to do so. Now I have allmost 95, 000/- rs of payment balance. I don't know what to do now. Please suggest for the same.

                      To The Administrative Officer, Consumer Court Forum. Sir, Brajendra singh working as a engineer in VPL, received a abn amro/Standard charted credit Card in 2006 with incorrect name (Brajender kumar singh) which is provided to me without signing any documents & without taking any of my personal documents like Pan card, address proof. After contacting customer care nos mentioned on cards found that this is against health insurance policy of Royal Sundaram. This policy was also not taken by us any time. Only some days ago received a phone call in which representatives explained the benefits of the Health Insurance Policy. At that time the person confirmed that in any case found not interested in the policy will be terminated and cancelled. Upon that I had convinced and informed to send details in written. But found that credit card received. After some time started to receive bank statement with around 2000 Rs . I written letter to head of card services as why I am payable if any card or policy not taken by us & still card not used or activated by us. Customer care replied as your card is already deactivated due to not any transaction but asked to pay min payment of around 5000 Rs which is against policy charge. Further replied to him as I am not responsible for such card & payment then why payable. After this mail no reply found by customer care & also no more statement found on my company address till today in last 7 yrs. Recently I have applied for home loan & found that they have put me under defaulters list with balance payment of 51000. So I am not getting any Loan from any other Bank. I plead your Parden to help me out and give proper justice to me. My other details are following : 1-on 17.11.06 mailed to headsevice.[protected]@in.standardchartered.com to cancel credit card no.-[protected] 2-On 17.11.06 mailed to customer.[protected]@in.royalsun.com to cancel the policy DC/SCB/045-HSP;4287 3-27.12.06 re mailed to headsevice.[protected]@in.standardchartered.com regarding never use any transaction with card but still amount to pay.----- no reply from customer care till date also no statement till date but as cibil report due...

My question is since June 2013 I am paying the amount in Credit card then why Bank is adjusting in EMI. Why no body replied to me that I am paying amout in incorrect account ? If you refer my query which I wrote from SC Bank online, in that I clearly wrote to Bank that I have paid the amount then why I have received reminder SMS for payment ? Please answer me why your executive had not mentioned that I made wrong payment.                         My name is Ramkumar Tulswani and even i am also facing the same issue with my card. I am paying my EMI on before due then also i was charged with fee each and every month. No one informed me about this that whenever you buy some on EMI, SCB creates a new account to maintain those EMIs.Recently, I was charged for late fee due to these confusion.Please address my concern and revert my all the charges.                         3. Standard Chartered Bank is number 2 in the whole world after Citi Bank, their policies are to get money only from the unknown mistakes customer ( general public ) make.

                        4. I had words with my elders &amp; they suggested to leave such compny, it is equal to working for the DON as murderer.

                        5. I tried hard to get a job in some good company, finally got offer from ICICI &amp; HDFC after waiting for long, these 2 companies are real banks for the people who wants exclusive service &amp; they many time reverse the late payment fee. Most of the cards are lifetime free under the annual swipe amount policy.

                        My humble request is to return these cards after getting your outstanding clear, SC is non India based bank &amp; all earned money goes to outside India, which also being consider that we are making our nation poorer.

                          I have received the above mail from Sahay Finlease after thousands of phone call and filthy language. on 23.01.2014 even Sri Parmar has abused my daughter too with very much dirty and filthy language.

My father name is quite different from what Sri Pankaj Parmar of Sahay Finlease is telling since 08.01.2014. He has sent an Intimation of Standard Chartered Bank.

                          How Standard Chartered Bank Can employ to harass a person who is not at all associated with the issue.

                            My experience with SCB credit card team has proved that the SCB credit card team should come forward and assist with detailed reports for disputed transactions and care for customers.Based on trust we start using their services but doesn't seem to work.I was Creditcard holder of SCB and Card #[protected].I am following up with the team for more than six months regarding auto debit transaction performed by Credit card team they took more than 3 months however didn't provide any details instead asking me to talk to collection team.Collection team pay no heed to your words and doesn't work based on truth but forced to get as much money from customers.T I had been holding Standard Chartered Credit card # [protected] which I received in the third week of April 2006.While applying for credit card, we were told that it is life time free card. We submitted only the application form to the representative. When we inquired about statement April last week 2006, we were told that since no transactions were performed you were not getting the statements. It never happened to use the credit card. I didn't get any statements/calls from SCB credit team about any outstanding amount or any other disputes. Recently in Sept 2013, when i checked the CIBIL score for personal loan, got to know from SCB personal Loan Team that my CIBIL score is less than 700 and SCB Credit card has outstanding balances. I was shocked and I have been following up with the bank for resolving this issue since then but all in vain. But to my dismay, i came to know the following 1)Money(Rs2664/-) was deducted for auto renewed M/s Royal Sundaram alliance policy ( i never applied for it) in 12 April 2006.I asked the Bank team to provide the corresponding documents or scan copy of SCB credit card. There is no answer from them. 2)SCB bank reported my card into CIBIL records for unauthorized transaction's outstanding amount without providing any information to me 3)I never received any statement either through post or email regarding the transactions from the bank. SCB heads.services are stating that my card account has been permanently invalidated in our records owing to the non-payment of the outstanding dues for a considerable period of time. Hence, financial charges were accrued. On date, the total outstanding on your card ending 6053 is Rs. 76, 642.02. Can someone assist?

                              Standard Chartered Bank, Complaint No. (from 2009 email) KMM3492458I15977L0KM; Ref No. (from 2009 email) 11/09/050408 /CRD I received a phone call today from your Gurgaon branch regarding clearing an outstanding amount on my Dead Brother's Credit Card (who died in 2009 - as you can figure from the DC also the trail of mails). I know it's foolish of me to even tell you how CC executive spoke to me since it's the bank only who train them to use choicest of abusive words and not to listen to the person on the other side. Anyways, I want to clarify a few things which your abusive executives didn't let me do - 1. I have submitted DC of my brother in 2009, October as you can see from the trail mail.. if you're foreign bank didn't train it's employees how to update the system with a Death Certificate, I'm not t be blamed for it! 2. I requested your executives to come to my place and talk to me in person but they (Pooja and Aman and Avrit Gujral) out-rightly refused. For your information, it's your work not mine .. I didn't call you did; so you'll have to come to me, I won't come to you. 3. Hemant Baisiwala wasn't my real brother; he was a cousin of mine. Just to let you know cousins share the same LAST NAME; and every body with whom I share a last name and who don't clear their outstanding credit card bills, DOES NOT MEAN THAT your un-courteous is going to me chase me to clear their outstanding amounts! NO LAW ALLOWS YOU TO DO THAT. And I CAN NOT provide phone numbers to your speaking executives for PEOPLE WHO ARE DEAD ! PLEASE understand dead people DO NOT have mobile phone, landlines, emails, physical addresses. 4. If I got a phone call again from your bank, I will file a complaint (read FIR) with the police and file a case in the court of law against Standard Chartered Bank, for mental harassment and defamation and/ or I'll certainly take some legal action the bank and I will not take this non- sense lying down. As per legal law, THE BANK CAN NOT HARASS ME TO PAY/ CLEAR CREDIT CARD AMOUNT OF SOMEONE RELATED TO ME.. it's a legal offence and if your executives come to my home (EVER) I will call the police on them. 5. For you to take pt.4 seriously, I have already filed a complained with The Banking Ombudsman, Reserve Bank of India, to Mr. Anand Prakash; Complaint # [protected] 6. Pooja was the one who called me and we got into an argument Aman took the phone from her.. You have some MEN working in your office (typical Indian Male Chauvinist PIG - Ladki dekh ke chauda hota-- please excuse my language !), who love to abuse women on the other side of the phone.. but will not stop their women colleagues from abusing. SC BANK, if you abuse an innocent person be ready to be meted with the same treatment - don't say then " Madam kaise baat kar rahi hai tu" ! Shame on you - a foreign bank and this is how your male employees talk to women.. No wonder Delhi/ NCR is the most disrespectful towards women (coz' your bank train your employees to be so) and rape capital of our country!

                                I am using Manhattan platinum credit card from standard chartered bank, When i crossed my credit card limit, they charged me over limit fee(which is fine), but it is charged on my previous card number . On discussion with they said that internal transfer can be done between accounts after payment is done.

                                When i paid the amount at the end of the month to my credit card account, i raised a request to transfer the charges which is paid into main account to the account where they have charged it.

                                After raising a 10 to 20 requests to settle the previous account by transferring amount from main account (which is actually there problem to do it), they have not done it . and all the time they have a different reason to explain.

                                Once they have transferred the amount to some other card(which is not mine), how can a executive can do mistakes like this.

                                    Dear reviews, My name is Mohammad uae resident since 2005, I started with SC bank since 2009, with personal loan of 250k aed, the bank treatment services are amazing, and I am happy being with SC, however in Feb 2013 the bank offered me a 50K aed credit card with extreme fast process of 4 days, the balance available was used for sure during the past 12 month, based on my plan to top up my loan and pay back the 50k I utilize, so far there was no worries for me since I was able to pay the minimum payment of 4 to 5k temporarily until I get my loan top up done. I visited Dubai mall branch willing to top up my remaining loan of 187k back to 250 k, and close the credit card, the bank agent was very sure that this is an easy processes and he asked me to wait for few minuets. The agent came back in 2 minuets with cold face!! Then I asked him what's the matter, the agent said " we are really sorry!! we are unable to top your loan based on new procedures posted by your company!! Which is, not allowing their employees from having more than 35%of thier salaries for loans payment!!!" And this is a percentage I already exceed by paying 6.5k toward my current loan, And having my loan approved, require my HR approval? Which means sharing my financial issues in details with the people who are monitoring my performance!! And this is honestly something I won't be able to do, so all my promotion chances will be kind of impassible. My credit card minimum payment due as for now is 4.9k+6.5k of loan payment out of my 15k salary = 3.5k and this is kind of impossible for me to survive with? As I have my family to support back home + my house rent, bills, gas and other expanses. So to mange a seloution after the top up rejection issue, I visited the collection department next to Dubai mall, and I explained my issue to a worker lady, that she said after reviewing my card details " we are very sorry sir, we don't do any settlements for clints who has a good payments record, we offer this only to the people who stop paying for more than 4 months"?? As she's asking me to stop paying and rich a point of a police cases, so the bank can accept to do for me a settlement, and that is something I am trying to prevent while I am there hoping the bank will support me in to turning my cridet card to easy installment, easy loan or top up, I don't even mind to pay back this 50k as 60k but in a way I can manage this payments. Later the collection department start to rain a hone calls, and I was explaining the same story, I am unable to pay this much, I will pay for sure if the bank helped me to have this credit as installments where I can mange to live. Over and over more calls and different people. Then later the collection departement start to contact me at my work place!! Mentioning the number you recive the calls from is for a out going calls only,[protected]. I tried to call many times but no way to reach, I called the number at the back of the card and the guy there (Mohammad) connected me to another lady that she asks me 2 numbers she gave me to solve my case, as well this'd numbers are outgoing calls only. Today morning I recive a call from,[protected] collection department, asking me to pay! I repeat the same story Howevr this guy voice tone was tough this time, and after few menuits of arguing, the said" I know where you work, I will come to your showroom and get the money? When I said I am unable to pay this much. Then I asked the guy if he is threateing me, by coming to my work place? And I asked him assertively for his name then he was so confused and asked me to wait on hold then he said, my manager will call you and I have to hang the phone. I have no comment so far for this kind of threatening policy, Is that the bank policy or staff initiative, I am not trying to cheat on the bank or do bad or so, I am asking only to solve my issue by making my payments possible to be paid, otherwise I am unable to survive. I didn't ran or avoiding calls, here I am chasing any contact person with authority so I can talk too, to find a seloution can make both o[censored]s satisfied as a bank and clinet.                                       I would like to inform to your kind notice that on 15th January, 2014, I have received SCB Credit card E-statement. When I have seen the statement I have totally wondered that how they are calculated this much in such outstanding amounts.
                                      I am indicate here for your ready reference;
                                      Total Outstanding amount = Rs.27, 823.17
                                      I have Paid (dtd 26/12/13) = Rs.10, 000.00
                                      Total Outstanding Balance = Rs.17, 823.17
                                      Total Purchases: Rs.7021.48.00 (for December, 2013)
                                      December month No.of days: 31
                                      Rate of interest : 3.54%
                                      Total Interest = 17823.17*31*3.54%/31= Rs.630.94 (as per their calculation)

                                      However, They have added interest for this month Rs.1551.43 (intentional infliction added interest).

                                      I request you to kindly investigate in my case and take strictly action upon them and provide me justice without any hesitation. I hope you will do the needful at the earliest.

                                        I ( jyoti babbar )have using your credit card -[protected]- from 09/13 but still there has not recieved any statement, now i have checked online its totally fraud company lots of charges reflect in my statement kindly resolve & help to clear this issue
