As per trai's latest order of transmitting 100 channels to the subscriber, the company is not including any paid channels within these 100 channels as prescribed by trai

As a result of this change my monthly bill has increased from rs. 144 to rs. 190, without any change of previous package of channels before the trai order.

Regarding this, my suggestion is please modify your order and specify that some paid channels (Rs. 50 out of rs. 130) to be mandatory for every dth service

Hi, we understand your concern. As per TRAI guidelines you get to choose 100 SD channels (or 50 HD channels) within the first NCF fee slab of Rs.153 pm. This excludes the FTA Promo pack as these channels are not counted for calculation of NCF. You would be getting 196 additional channels and services with the FTA promo pack at no additional cost and you can choose another 100 SD FTA channels as per your liking.

    My name is manoj kumar singh. My tatasky subscriber id is [protected] and my registered mobile no. Is [protected] and registered email is [protected]@gmail.com.

    I had subscribed for yearly plan. After some months trai arrived so they returned amount on my tata sky balance.
    Then i chose their premium sports english hd package. Now i want to change this.

    But since 29th of may i am trying to change it by their app, through internet, through dealer it is not happening. Atleast 40-50 times i reported tatasky by call, mails, chat they are just fooling me. Actually i think they are forceing me to stuck with the package which is costing me approx rs. 1310 per month for two connection.

    Pls help me.

      Status:- presently my tata sky set top box is with tatasky team. Tata sky
      Complaint not resolved:- 20 days (Since 12th may 2019).

      Refer below service request reference no.

      A. 12th may - 1gur6n6x, 09:46 am,
      Details:- set top box not receiving signal.

      B. 17th may - 1h5vkb7g, 09:02 pm,
      Details:- set top box replaced by still signal not received. Service engineer had took service code by another set top box (Available with technician)

      C. 20th may - 1hbq0qop, 08:42 pm,
      Details:- replaced set top box is also defective, signal test channel 2032 not receiving signal, many channels are not receiving signal

      D. 24th may - 1hj7bg2i, 08:40 pm,
      Details:- set top box taken by service engineer for repair at service center, declared beyond repair.

      E. 24th may - 1hjb63nmw, 08:43 pm,
      Details:- service request closed by service engineer, requested not to close till full repair/replacement.

      F. 29th may -1hs2wo8y, 11:30 pm,
      Details:- set top box return to us without repair and replacement.

      G. 31st may - service engineer visited with set top box, set top box brought is not working (Even channel 100 is not working on that). Both set top box is with tatasky team.

      Customer care stated that my requested is completed on 24th may 2019 & no further action to be done.

        This is the wrong card for this set up box (Pairing error).
        Nds no and digicard id is displayed.
        I switched on my tv this morning and i got this error. It was working fine till yesterday. I want this to be resolved at the earliest because i am not able to watch the world cup. I tried removing the card and cleaning the electronic chip, but it is not working. Suggest something helpful!

        Hi, we understand your concern. Please turn off the set-top box. Remove the digicard and wipe it with a soft dry cloth and then insert the digicard into the slot. Turn it on and check if the problem persists.

          Tata sky cheated with validity of annual package.

          I took the service on 12-jul-2018 with annual subscription. At that time tata sky committed service till 11-jul-2019.
          In march-2019 there is change in rate as trai guidelines. And it was announced by all media channels that monthly subscription rates has been reduced.
          Thus, if rates has been reduced, my subscription should be extended. However my subscription period of one year had been reduced. And that is also after blocking some of the channels.
          So this is cheating.
          Can someone help here?

            Sir,
            I, rajneesh madhok, advocate, recharged the annual pack of tata sky with rs 3600/- for the monthly subscription of rs 299.32. Tata sky has its own system of days in a year, firstly its customer care personnel says that there are 30 days in a month and in a year it is 360 days which i admitted. And on the question of why not my annual subscription has been credited with the amount to be paid with one month's bonus. There is no reply by the tata sky personnel and the only excuse is that the said amount will be credited to your account after the expiry of one year period. What a funny jok??? And how they people are dodging the customers it is a new formula to harass public and extort money from public.
            Kindly get the date of maturity updated by 13 months to avoid further unnecessary litigation in the matter.

              From yesterday, i am getting message as weather is not good and unable to receive signal. I called tatasky customer care, they said you will be charged rs.150/- for the service engineer to visit my home to check the issue. If any damages or problem i am ready to bear the charge but for checking why should i pay. Service provider should take care of these things.

                Tata sky showing Blanked Screen for DD Sports Channel even after the Statement from Prasar Bharti CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati that Prasar Bharti to have dual streams for 2019 ICC CWC. It's clearly mentioned "there will no longer be a blank screen on @ddsportschannel on private DTH and cable MSO platforms during live telecast of cricket matches" Tata sky showing below level mentality here. Do the needful for consumer's rights.

                    Hi,

                    One of tata sky technician had visited my residence to install the fire tv stick, during course of installing he mishandled the television, i had complained the same to tata sky and after so many calls and mail i got to speak to the nodal team and as per the promise made by them it was told that i will be getting the reimbursement of the charges incurred for the service, i have forwarded the same to tata sky nodal team since then there is no update from them.

                    I have sent them several mail as well i have called them many times and in response they telling me to wait for 24 hours and its more than a week now.

                    Technician had visited my hours on 21st may and i have immediately called them and raised a complaint.

                    I Had informed that the charges will be repaid after submission of the bill, after doing that none of the agent team from nodal team called back after writing several email i received a call from a nodal agent named khadeer, he was very adamant and was offering me only 500 rs however the billing amount was 7000, i have already submitted the bill.

                    Khadeer was neither transferring the call to higher authority nor he was ready to pay, he was very adamant and rude and sarcastic over call.

                    It's really frustrating that tatasky team not living upto the promise, i need a proper resolution, i am not liable to pay the amount for the mistake made a tatasky technician.

                    Please help me getting this resolved.

                      I have referred tata sky account to a person on 29th april, 2019 through my WhatsApp through a code.
                      Person successfully registered using by referral code but tata sky is not giving any referral amount.
                      I have proof of referral and also my referred person has proof o[censored]sing my referral code and activating account.

                      I have a recording with customer executive who verified my referral and said it will be credited but now after complaint he is saying i did not refer account.
                      I said you can call and asked concerned person and i can submit proofs also, but he said we cannot give bonus.
                      I said, so you cheat customers, so he said yes and i said congratulations and he said acknowledges it.

                        I opted for a tata sky connection on 13th of may 2019 and it stopped working since 19th of may 2019 showing error signal not receiving.

                        I am in continuous follow up with tata sky cm care but they are not resolving it.

                        Everyday i get promise that somebody will visit today by 10 am but no one turns up not even calls.

                        I am getting mentally harassed as i made advance payment and got it installed but it worked only for a week and post that its completely down and company is not even bothered to correct it.

                          I bought a new tata sky connection on 21 may 2019.in 2 days time i glanced through channels and i subbed to ones i want. After about 5 days, when i check back my subscription my subscription is totally changed to channels that don't even know, and my new monthly charges are rs.1000. When i called back customers care, they are yet to answer this.

                          I know these service twist rules and cheat for gain. But this is a blatant cheating and outright stealing. I guess am not alone to see this happen..

                          Tata Sky agreed to refund Rs 54 into my account. But without my knowledge, when the wrong subscription was running for 3 days, amount I lost is around Rs 110. (running 3 days at the monthly price of Rs 1000 )

                          Although I appreciate Tata Sky calling back to me in resolving the matter, amount they agreed to settle is clearly wrong.

                          PS: Along with the complaint, I have already given my customer ID.

                            I had bought a bb plan for 6500 for a six month plan and was promised an amazon firestick and a holiday for 3 days... I have been following up for 45 days now, however ti no avail. It is really frustrating having to followup for something which you have been promised.                               It's been more than a week that i raised request for tata sky re-installation services, i had also provided alternate contact as my rmn has network trouble catching signals at the new address. I missed catching all live election updates on tv with family due to this : (

                              I have with me dish antenna, set top box, hdmi ready with me only re-installation required from your end.

                                For the past month star world premiere has been subscribed to my account without any reason, however unable to drop the same as the channel doesn't show under modify pack on the website. Contacted your help care 4 time from the past 2 weeks. All they do is repeat the process to drop the channel which is unhelpful as i already know the procedure. I have to repeatedly tell them that i am not seeing the channel under subscriped list. I didn't expect this pathetic service from company like tata sky.                                   I am not Able to change my packs Our channels.
                                  My subsciber id is[protected] complain nunber :1HBPEDUI. I even escalated the matter to nodal officer, but still no one is able to solve my issue. This is frustrating . I have tried changing my pack through app, website and dealers, stil it is unsuccessful. It is pathetic service from tata sky. All i have got is false promises from tata sky representatives

Saala connection lene k liye to pairo pr girta h ki mera le lijiye. Aur ab baat krne pr saala log feka feki kr raha h. Customer care bol raha h dealer se baat karo aur wo bol raha h ussse baat karo. Ab yehi sb krne k liye connection liya gaya h.

                                    I am getting pairing error for tata sky recharge. I have already tried re-inserting card and reset settings process. Please help checking the issue.

                                    Hi, that's not how it should have been. Please turn off the set-top box. Remove the digicard and wipe it with a soft dry cloth and then insert the digicard into the slot. Turn it on and check if the problem persists.

                                      Subscribed to Tata Sky for an Year Recently., without registration. Since I could not choose the /slect the channels and pack I approached the Customer Support and they told me I have already an old account with Tata Sky long time back. the account no and details I do not remember. Present Subscription ID is [protected]. So I believe I need to change my Profile details I am not able to do this online. Please help me!

                                        Tatasky is cheating me as charging money for viewership and maintenance but signal is not received by my set top box. This has become a regular phenomena since april'19.
                                        In spite of my complain, still no action has been initiated against tatasky by consumer forum. I need visible action against tatasky and my all amount since april must be reimbursed.
