Dear Sir/ Madam

This is Dr. Kirti Tandel. I had subscribed for Tikona WiBro services on 28th February 2010. My user id is [protected]. I had no problems in paying my bills for the first month since subscription. For the next month i couldnt pay the bill in time so it was added in my next month bill dated 26/04/2010-26/05/2010 which came out to be Rs 1321/-

On 4th June 2010 i got a call from the Tikona Collection centre (the number is[protected] where Miss Aditi spoke to me. She told that she will be sending an executive from her side to collect the bill. And so on 5th June 2010 the executive came and collected the amount i.e. Rs 1321/- in cash but despite repeated asking he denied giving me any receipt saying that the amount will be immediately credited to my account by evening that day.

However on the 17th June my Tikona sevice got suspended and the reason given by the customer care agent was that my amount was still overdue. I got back to Miss Aditi and told her the matter. But since then after atleast 20-25 calls Miss Aditi and her seniors have not been able to transfer the amount to my Tikona account. All they say is that they have sent a mail to Tikona services about my payment and that My payment is updated in their database but there is some problem in transfering the money to Tikona services!!!

Due to all this even though I want to terminate this service, I cannot do it coz the due amount is still been shown in the bill details. ITS ALMOST ONE MONTH SINCE MY ACCOUNT IS SUSPENDED AND STILL I CANNOT TERMINATE BECAUSE OF NO FAULT OF MINE!!!! I have put atleast 10-15 service requests to Tikona regarding this matter but all requests get closed without even getting back to me or informing me.

Kindly take some action as this is really not tolerable and duping a customer of around Rs 1300/- is like a crime.

    I had applied for the Tikona broadband connection. The took the initial amount from me. and when they came for the installation, they said that the signal strengtht is very low so no connection can be provided.
    Now they have not given my money back yet. I have complaining regarding this to the customer care and they always say the same old story, that backend team is processing. Its been more than 3 months and i have not yet received the money. I am still fighting for it. This how these days many companies run a fraudulent scheme.

    Even am facing the same problem. I got tikona connection but due to low signal they could not provide it, but confirmed me they would refund the amount, but still am waiting for that amount..they promised me in smooth apologizing words but the promises were in vain .

      i m complaint about poor confirmation provide by company staff and nobody responding my call.. i want new connection for that i was applied 5 days ago but till date i m not get new connection and no any responsible person to tell me wen i get connection or not.. i called 20 times to Mr. Shayam (Kandivali branch [protected]) but he also not attend my call why i dont know...

      so i want to written concern from company why my connection delay..

      You must first know my experience with Tikona Wi BRo before you go in for a connection with them

      Let me share the worst experience of my life. I took a wireless broadband connection. I got the installation next day. I was surprised to see the speed half to what was shown in the demo. Next time I try to use, it is not working. I complained and I get someone to fix it a day later. Next day I tried connecting, again it was not working. Different technicians called me to just check but never provided any resolution. Nothing happened, So I decided to cancel and wrote mail to Nodal Office email Id. No response. Some how I got a contact number & I spoke to many people there, still nothing happened.
      I wrote a mail to Nagesh Prasad, so called Compliance Office, who again is of no help.


      I realized that everyone has gone through the same pain I have through my Neighbors in apartments


      Its been a month and have lost the hopes of getting my money refunded. So I left following up since it was totally waste of time


      So be aware before you go in for Tikona Wibro Internet connection


      Pass it on to all your friends before they are fooled...........

      Sir,

      System can slow down due to many reasons. try clearing your cache. Turn off auto-update. And also check if PC configuration meets minimum requirement. If you are using peer to peer application or utorrent etc then also speed goes down.

      Tikona WiBro Wireless Broadband — Poor Connection Speed

      I have a 750kbps Unlimited plan of Tikona. The connection has always been slow (on and off). However, since the last 3-4 weeks, I am not getting a speed of anything above 500kbps. I am still although paying for 750kbps.

      I have lodged multiple complaints and even approached the nodal head, but still no resolution!

        I have used tikona internet till end of January.Now i have shifted to mtnl 3 months back.During my last payment i have asked them to close my account.But they have continued their services without confirming me.i have not used their internet from last 5 months.i have discontinued their services because of improper speed,internet glitches,improper customer care services,etc..Now they are asking me for NOC which they dont mention it before.They want to settle it down otherwise they will continue sending me bills.
        I do not want to pay any bill for which i have not used internet. Now i even want my 500rs refundable from tikona.
        I advice u all not to go for tikona broadband as it is really pathetic..

          I am a part of Tikona for a month and I am also experiencing slow speed. I got into a plan of Rs. 599 / month with unlimited internet and a speed of 300kbps after the first 200MB download. Recently, I received a message from them the speed has been increased to 512kbps. Now as per my calculation, if I am getting a speed of 512kbps so my download speed should be 512/8 which is equal to 64kpbs but unfortunately I am not getting that. Secondly, anyhow, at the end of the month my password got expired and I tried to put it across to the representative of Tikona. The first time my sis called them up they said that they will be reseting the password and will be sending the password at mu number in the next half an hour but it didn't came up till 1 hour. After that, I called them up and they said that it will take another two hours to rest a password. Two hour's to reset a password WHAT THE 'F' dude. Am I a fool !!! The customer service is the worst one I even come across and I would suggest other people to abuse them left right and center if they are trying to mislead. We are paying them for their services so w have the right to get the best deal. Screw you Tikona.

            Tikona BB Services - BEWARE and never ever try to subscribe to this service atleast. Reason is FALSE COMMITMENTS + POOR SERVICES.

            Never rely of these guys for internet connection in NCR atleast. I gave an application for new connection after goin through there plan details.

            However even after 8 days they are not even aware of if i have requested for a connection or not. If before installation they are doing this, u can think Guys how much painful they will be after taking the services.

            BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD ...... NEVER EVER SUBSCRIBE TO TIKONA.....

            totally agree .. i stay in vaishali and have faced ditto same problem and worse ... i was sold a wi-fi connection but the engineer came after 5 days and installed a lan and went away ... he said he would configure the wi-fi device and install after two days but nobody turned up and no one answers calls ... when asked customer care, am told would need to pay extra for wi-fi device, over and above bill or otherwise continue with lan ???? complete frauds, they don't work by any rules and regulations ... worst company in the category ... they trap people and fleece them of money by taking installation charges ... pls. avoid at all costs ...

            I am already fed up with Spectranet Service and then Tikona guys came in picture.. I opted wi fi plan but when engineers came, they insisted to take lan connection and after two days they will install wi fi.. Thank God, i declined to take the connection and made stop payment of security amount.
            This is the worst service I have ever availed. I got connection on 02nd Dec 2012 and after 5 days I am facing connectivity issue. I have logged complaints multiple times and they promised to give call back in half an hour ... I am still waiting for call for last 3 days !!!

            Not working, Not worth ...
            If any tikona representative is reading this post, either resolve my issue OR YOU ARE MOST WELCOME TO TAKE YOUR DEVICE.

            Tikona are CHEATS.
            I sufferred TIKONA for 5 months in 2011-12 and got it disconnected after paying the full dues.
            Tikona kept on saying that the disconnection is in progress.
            At last they disconnected it and collected the equipment from my house.
            NOW in SEPT 2013, some Chetan Sharma Advocate of Tis Hazari Court Delhi emails me to pay Rs 2415 as it is outstanding in my name.
            BULL .
            I called the Chetan Sharma on his phone numbers and the pig said he has nothing to do with Tikona.
            I also wrote to TIKONA Customercare about this fraudster. But there is no reply.

            I guess TIKONA is a SCAM.
            Beware.

              I took Tikona broadband wireless connection with 1 GB usage, 2MBPS speed. But still I didn't get more than 20 kbps speed and most of time there is connection problem. When I took connection then I pay 800/- (500/- installation charge and 300/- deposit )to the company sales person. After 25 days I closed this connection. When I received bill from this company then it is 1089/-. My usage of those 25 days was 689 Mb and still they make usage beyond charge even my plan is of 1GB. also they again charge 500/- for installation. Because all of these problem from starting to after close the connection I decide to complaint in consumer court with hope of help from you.

              Broadband services — more usage

              We got bill of May 2009 abt Rs.3300. This is absolutaly very much amount for us.
              We cant understand hoW can it be? We hav not much use of broadband services.so some one Who

              I m also facing same issue. Their total data transfer record is much higher than the actual record which I maintain using a trust worthy software.

              I also received a bill of 1127 which is way higher than the promise. I opted for the same plan as above.

              Please help me out as well.
              my plan is of FUL499 my last payment is not mentioned in the bill and that amount is forwarded to the next bill. And I want to minus my paid amount from the bill.

                Hello Friends..

                I just want to say that 6 months before i have buy tikona wi bro service as per my plan of 1mbps speed internet speed was very slow and frequent disconnection of internet (request time out after every 2 to 3 reply) and bad customer care support never give proper answer. I Have paid 800 Rs of cheque but still they have charge 800 rs again on my next bill . So fortunately i fed up of these service and i decided to disconnect the service so i called customer care to disconnect my service but they didn't response on my request and sending the bills for 4 months so decided to not to pay the bills Today executive called me pay the bill otherwise we will give you a legal notice for not paying the bills. Why should i pay the bills unnecessarily since i have not use more than 3 days and they are telling that you have used for 2 months and usage is about 4GB. So friends please please dont opt for these services because these is worst internet service provided in universe.

                  Hello Sir,

                  I am using this fraudulent service provider for the last six months. For the first month the service provided by them was ok but then the service started deteriorating. Now the service provided by them is abyssmal. I cannot connect to the internet properly. The bandwidth provided by them to me is always below 30 kbps although i am paying for a connection of 300 kbps bandwidth. The bill provided by them is always inflated. They don't provide services for almost half the month and always charge in the full. The bill i receive is always for the whole month they never miss out a day. I am tired i filing complaints to the nodal of the maharashtra circle but to no avail. That person never replies to any of the complaints. Please help me out.

                  I have all the proofs for the latency issues that i am facing i.e the latency is on an average over 2800ms or is generally lost packets. Also i have the proofs for the abyssmal bandwidths they provide to us. Please help me out with this.

                  Tikona — bad service and fraud bills

                  tikona internet service is the worst one i have seen and used. while downloading
                  any data within 5-10 min net is interuppted for 1-2 min and data is gone. more over they are very fast in collecting the bill amount but after complaing 100 times nobody will attend the service complain.

                  i got a bill of 1068.69 against 449 plan i told customer care that ur services were not there for one week the lady told me you pay 900 only .within 5 min person went at my hose and collected a ch. of rs 900/-. within two days i told to disconnect the services from the same instant they told ok it is disconnected from now. i have disconnected their router fom pc . surprisingly they sms on[protected] for 146.53/- rs bill to avoid deactivation while 10 day before i have given the deactivation request and i was told that ok it is deactivated for u and connection is surrendered. i was further suprised that on the same date they mail me for a bill of
                  639.50. wile i have not used the services. during th two month time i was not able to upload even 100 MB data for single time for which i m using internet.
                  aap ka broadband thik se chalta nahi to aapusko jaldi se riper karo nahi to me BILL nahi PAY karunga ok .

                    I took Tikona broad band conenction somewhere in Jan 2010, which worked for 8-15 days, after that some problem came and that broadband connection failed, Initially I tried for service to start it once again, I asked Tikona service centre for correcting the problems, no one turned to my office for 10-15 days
                    After that I made several requests for disconnection, every time they give some disconnection no and tells that disconnection will took place in 7 days, after that when I makes second disconnection request, they says that your mobile was off, Initially I was using different mobile from which now I am using So I requested to make disconenction and updated my new mobile no, Now once again I forwarded disconnection request today no is[protected] and told when I asked why earlier disconnection did not took place, they said that your mobile was switched off, every time they are telling the same reason, I fed up by this and I am getting bill for no service, service for only first 15 days
                    I request authorities of consumer complaints forum to do the needful
                    I am no ready to pay for bill for which they have not provided service and I am ready to pay for 10-15 days service given by them

                    Tikona Broadband Service — fraud during disconnection

                    I have a tikona broadband connection. My userid is [protected]. I have a disconnection request in progress for more than a month. The request number is 1-[protected] raised on 7 th dec 2011. Inspite of numerous calls, no one has turned up to take the modem.

                      PLEASE DONT TAKE TIKONA. NO NETWORK & SPEED
                      I just subscribed to FMC599 plan 5 days ago and I am very dissatisfied with the service. First of all they assured me they will check if there is a proper reception in my area which they didn't do. Then they directly installed the thing which now is not catching any signal. Not to mention I had to wait for 5 freakin days to get myself online which they said was a one day process. I am supposed to get 2 mbps speed but what I actually get is 150 kbps. This has turned out to be a major pain now!

                        Please advise your reader not to use Tikona Digital Networks as they have extremely poor customer service. They promise to attend to problems in 24 hours, however have not addressed the issue after six days. No one from the company bothers to call or return calls. Every time you call their call center you get an assurance that the issue will be solved in 24 hrs. The then refer you to customer care who refer you back to the call center and it goes on. A company to avoid.

                        I had taken a broadband internet connection from tikona. they commit me for high speed internet with a trail period of 10 days. they activate my internate services on 7th of march 2010. now i am not able to use this connection from last 15 days. i made so many complaints in customer care but they all are least bother to sort out my issues. I requested them to disconnect my services and return my money back to me.i made a request on 18th of march 2010 to disconnect the services. under
                        Ref num[protected] dated 18 March and the customer care exec name is shish pal deshmukh.
                        second request i had given on another day under
                        num[protected] dated 17 MARCH to NIKHIL .

                        I am Krishnarjuna Rao, I registered for new internet connection on 27th February 2010 with Tikona executive. I have paid Rs. 500/- for installation changes in advance. The guy promised me a new connection with in 48 hours. Till now I didn’t get a new connection or my amount back. I have called them several times and spoke regarding my new connection but in vain.

                        I have all my proof documents and INSTALLATION charges Rs. 500/-.

                        I am Iqbal Ahmed, residing in Kurla Mumbai.

                        I had put application based on sales engineer's visit on my door step. He promissed to give me wireless internet connection at my residence and I took the service for 3 months at the rate of 299INR per month. They promissed not to charge for installation for 3 month service. I had handed over cheque for 897. Without completing the installation they have depositted the cheque and even after my serveral call to customer care as well as their Area Manager Mr. Anand, Mr. Vijay Sales Person, Mr. Abbas Service Engineer and Mr. Sameer Service Engineer, but my problem never got solved. I had written e-mail to customer care for returning back my money, only reply is "your case is forwarded to concern department" Even after that I am regularly receiving mail for bills and now a days I am receiving call for my due payment. This is quite rubbish for Tikona Care.

                        here is my story...i've been waiting from the past 1 month... sales man took 500 r.s for installation charges by assuring that i would get the connection in 1 day...
                        After calling so many times, one guy came n installed the device that too after 4 days...

                        The real problem starts here...they seems to have a problem with their server..whenever i tried to login an error comes up as authentication login error...for the last 1 month, i've spoken to all the techs/officers for more than 100 times but none of them were able to solve the problem. Now i'm in the middle of nowhere..
                        I don't know what to do now, they r not ready to cancel/disconnet the service either...who will help me now?

                        Tikona Digital Network — No or very rude Service and Support

                        Hi ,
                        my username is XXXXX4454 Tikona is promised my cnection speed will be 2 mbps and 99 % uptime. But I am not getting less then 100 kbps ( 10 -12 KBps speed) and most of time my PC is not getting IP .
                        I complained more then 10 time to engineer and sales and 4 time in costumer care. But no resolutions. Tikona engineer is taking very rudely and always saying that this is not reliance or TATA , so it may take 5 days to resolve. Thsy have not provided my any receipt at time of check receiving. Now when i told him to

                        So if any one from tikona is reading this Please , resolve my problem.

                        Or I will move to consumer forum.

                          I inquired for new connection from your company for Jamalpur area, they send your agent "Hardik Shah (Mo: [protected]) " on 25th June 2010. He came to me and filled the new registration form and took deposit amount 535 in cash for DD and given me a receipt of Rs 500.

                          The Application No. on receipt is - [protected].

                          And after doing this process till now i didn't get any connection and when I called to your agent he told me that in my area there is not any feasibility to get net connection in my area.
                          So I want to know that what all these nonsense.
                          Your agent should be knowing about this or first he should have inquired for the feasibility for new connection in my area, then he should fill the form and take the money.

                          There is almost one week wasted and still i don't have the internet connection, so tell me what to do now for that, because i need internet connection not the money back so you give me a new connection or should I go with consumer court for the wastage of my time and money??

                            I am using the Tikona internet service for last 8 months.When I opted for this service, the sales executive promised me a cheque pick up faclity from home for the bill payments. However this was not relegiously followed and time & again I had remind the customer service department to send a collection agent at my place.
                            For the month April 10, I called them again for collecting the cheque- but was promised falsely that someone was on the way. I could not pay the same due to the following reason. On May 10, I got a added up bill of Rs 661for which I gave the cheque to the collection agent on 10/06/2010 (due date of bill is 13/06/2010).
                            For some reason, this was not deposited in the bank and was deposted only on 19/06/2010. My bank account clearly shows the account being debited by Rs 661 to Tikona Digital Network.

                            Since 18/06/2010, I am trying in vain to get my internet access reconnected since now the cheque is at last realised(thanks to the careless nature of their collection department). However I was suprised to hear atleast 8-9 times since 19/06/2010 that the Tikona account does not reflect the payment. Currently the connection is still disconnected with no assurance ( as their customer service is only escalating this to the billing department).

                            This is total irresponsible behaviour of the service provider with no customer focus. There is no coordination whatsoever between the customer service department & the billing department.And above all, they don't let you talk to their Manager! I am not sure if that kind of role exists in their organisation.

                              I requested tikona about the problm in internet connectvity, out of 30 days, I could not use it properly a single day. I asked for disconnection but no body came to disconnection. I asked to make prorata bill as I could not use my prepaid plan due to their inefficient services, but no reply. insame customer care representative they say i will get complaint no. on phone i didn't get. which ever mails i sent i got no reply to them. plenty complaint no. plenty mails but no reply.
                              now recently a threat mail to submit bill, without refering my earlier concerns.
                              I have full record of mails sent to them...pls help

                              As i have informed the customer care about the usage of internet was not proper and irregular.They didn't take any proper action for that.Even after i told to disconnect the connection, there is no response.So please take the immediate action to disconnect.

                                I TOOK A CONNECTION OF TIKONA BROADBAND AT JUNE 1 . I COMPLAINED THEM AT 2 JUNE ABOUT THE SLOW SPEED . I CONTINUOUSLY COMPLAINED EVERY DAY TILL 6 JUNE AND THEY SAID THAT IT WILL BE RESOLVED WITHIN 48 HOURS AND THEY ALSO ARRANGED AN ENGINEER VISIT FOR ME BUT NO ONE CAME AT HOME.
                                ON 6 IT WAS SOLVED BUT TILL NOW I HAVE NOT GOT THE INFORMATION HOW TO CONNECT 2 PC WITH THE BROADBAND . I HAVE ASKED THEM ABOUT THAT ON 7 AND THEY SAID THE ENGINEER WILL COME TOMORROW BUT HE HAS NOT VISITED TILL NOW.

                                the tikona customer service is very worst. i m user of 1 year of tikona services. it is the worst . no call records. the customer care excutive even abuse you. they are very irresponsible. they just telling you that "sir mane aapka complain note kar liya hai aapko jalad se jald aapki problem solve ho jayega sir" . but don't forgrt ... aapka problem kabhi bhi solve naho hogi.
                                Yes u are very right. my id [protected]. Very irresponsible customer care. very simple reply and no solution. I recommend not to go for tikona.

                                  Please do not use this services.Network is worst, and has a very bad customer services
                                  I did not even get good response from the customer service department, they said me that my problem would be solved within 2 days but it is more than 2 weeks still i am facing the problem and it is not been solved yet. When i talk to the customer service department like daily they do not give response and even use abusive language, and avoid the calls. They even disconnect the calls while i speak to them. I suggest every one reading never to opt for tikona broadband services because you will also face such horrible problems and it would be difficult for you to get out of it. This was mty expirience using Tikona Broadband service rest is upon you people, my work is just to inform you i can not force you. Thnx

                                    I had Applied for Internet Connection o 10/04/2010 and Paid Rs.800/- by Cheque as Installation Charges in Advance and they told me It will get Installed in 2 days but due to technical problem it could not be done.

                                    They told me that will return my cheque of Rs.800/- but on 26/04/2010 thay deposited the cheque and got cleared, when contacted Tikona care they told me will be refunded in 10 days.

                                    Mr. Aniket and Mr. Swapnil From Tikona Care told me someone will call me for the refund process, but till now no body has contacted me and again i caled them for the refund status thay say it will be done in 10 days now its more than 40 days i paid them but they are not refunding my money

                                    please take strict action against them

                                    I m ankit jain. i taken my connection on 12.08.2010 and i paid the installation payment through cheque then after the engineers was came at ma place for connection but there so no range of network at my place. that time i called at tikona care and said for disconnect it and give me my money back.that time them said you will be get back refund in 45 days of disconnect the connection . but now more then 2months is gone but still i didnt got my money . i called at customer care a lots of time but them are telling you will be get in 10days and all but still 15days is went . i called again then said ur cheque have been sent from here so you will get in 4-5 days but still 10days more is went.i want to do complain. take a serious action on tikona digital networks

                                      i paid 500rs installation fee.the next day service men tried to instal but no signal was avail it seems. he said we will install RO soon nearby my house and within two days i wil get the internet connection. More than two weeks pased but stil i didnt get any proper solution. my id is 3150.the team leader who spoke to me is kishore. he jus disconnects my cal if i pronounce my name.he wil tel he wil cal back to me but never he called me or solved my problem
                                      Hi I am facing the Same Problem.They took cheque for 500 and said within two day you will get connection.Now its month nothing happen.Some try service Engineer came to install modem but No signal

                                        You are right tikona is the most fraud broadband company they have taken my money and since last 3 months they have not installed internet connection. When i ask for refund on toll free number they dont have any answer their billing department never contacts me and there is no person who can tell me what has happened about my refund.

                                        I would suggest tikona that if they are in so desperate need for money then go and rob a bank but dont cheat public.

                                        All the tikona people are crooks. They like to you are rob you money.

                                        I thought I was going to be one of the few rare complainants.But 65 pages with 10 complaints on each make a whopping total of 650 for Tikona.Not counting the hundreds still in the pipeline.A record to rival Sachin Tendulkar's!
                                        I was induced by a neighbour to be Tikona's client(She received the 250/- for inducing a new "Bakra" for the this Daylight Robber of an Internet Service Provider Co.)
                                        A worker would come pick up my payment for the monthly bill at my doorstep, on an additional payment of Rs 20-30.Technical service was nothing to write home about, but I viewed this as a new company's teething problems, to improve with time.
                                        On the last such visit, Santosh Pandey(Mo:[protected]) came to collect a due bill, plus a current month's payment, a total of 870/- for two months on 11/8/13.My next billing cycle would begin after 11/9/13.
                                        He then sweet talked me into this .
                                        He promised me a free months' bonus if I paid for 11 months' in advance.I did my Maths, and wrote him a Cheque for Rs.5370.@ the rate of 483/33, being an advance payment for the coming 11 months, plus the free bonus twelfth month.Meaning, my next bill will come only at the end of 30/September/2014.
                                        Thankfully, both these payments were reflected in my statement on their log in page, as per usual, with slight differences of figures, that I attrubuted to taxation etc.
                                        It was after a few days that I had my first shock, when I saw a huge deduction of Rs 1500/- from the advance amount of 5370/-.Figures didn't add up.So I called their so-called Customer Care Unit.Stupid people treating customers stupidly.She kept repeating the same bloody line that my billing was as per accounts, without explaining the huge deduction.So my Corporate climb began.I talked to a Nilesh, a Pradeep and God knows to who else.All equally unhelpful, equally eager to throw me off their backs.So finally I traced a J.Nair at their Appelate Office, one of the very few whose address was listed.Two e-mails went unanswered.A third angry one woke him up.He sent me a sweet e-mail, acknowledging my three mails, and promising to send me someone to sort out the mess.For the second time I got taken in by their sweet talk.I thought I would finally get some justice and decided not to pursue the aggressive confrontation.
                                        To this day, I am waiting for someone to visit.Not only that, a further 670/- has been subtracted from the balance in their hands, without any sensible accounting.I fear they're aiming to empty my balance and then close my account, to rid them of my hassles.
                                        Well, I know my rights as a consumer.
                                        If TIKONA thinks it's owned by a son-in-law of a crooked leader, (At least that's their attitude)they haven't tangled with someone like me.
                                        I intend to teach them a lesson they won't forget soon.All legal, all above board, and all ethical.
                                        I invite other cheated clients to join me in a common fight.My e-mail: [protected]@rediffmail.com
