I have taken a connection from tikona on 21-Feb-10 but from day one am facing issue in connection &
not getting service from tikona, whatever speed they commited ,i haven't got ,..also every time tikona team give me wrong commitment & promise and they always failed to fulfill it .Also i have got bill of that poor service & when i asked for disconnection enginner said that i will waive of this bill & you will not face any problem but after very next day will again face connection problem . when i escalted the things to call center , executive also not entertained me then i wrote mail to customer service but same bad response i have received... today's almost 1 month has passed but till time my disconnection request not completed & soon i will get another bill .. why should I pay bill for such poor service & response...
Actually govt. has to cancel license of such iiresponsible company who do not care their customer.
please let me know who will give me compensation for this mental dissatisfaction occured due to this Tikona bad Service

From last three days i gettin same one liner mail, earlier call center saying the same thing now you people using same punch line ...if you have forwarded this mail to concern then ask him to pay bill which would generate after putting requests 4 deactivation..... now am searching higher authority mail id of & whenever i will get i will forward this chain mail to them to give him actual picture & ground level reality of tikona & its customer service

Hello, I have the same problem. The customer service department only raises the complaint. But no one is there to solve the problems. I asked for the 4GB 2MBPS plan. But their representative put me on the wrong plan and now they will ask for money for the service which I didn't order.

Just because of these, I put the disconnection request but the same thing is happening to me. No one is there to solve the problems. Every time you call they will just raise new complain.

One more thing is that their representative writes whatever they want in their system. I clearly mentioned that I am not happy with the service and their representative mentioned in their system that I am very happy with the service provided. Such a lie just to show good results to their bosses.

Please take some action and please guide me point where I can make complaint about these people.

I had complaine regarding NET working problem in first week of August but no action has taken then I had again lodged complaint in third week of August, 2010. Your executive came in my absence and told problem in your computer. I called computer hardware engineer he checked & found computer was ok actually problem in NET work only.my NET services remain un sovled & I am not happy with your service just because of this I put the disccution request on 25/08/10 (Request No :[protected] and I was looking for another broad band services and wherever I contact customer care dept. about disactivation of any account on 13/09/10 at 10.am and I came to know that my connection activted on 28/08/10 customer care Executive (Mr.Naeem) conviced me to continue the service, we will give full satisfaction and I asked him who will the pay the bill for that peroid. he told me you contact in this regard we will adjust. so I start to using NET on 13/09/10 at 1.15 P.M at persent I fully satisfied with the your services. please send fresh and adjusted bill. considering the mater.

At present the download speed is 78kbps ( transfer rate is 9.75 KB/sec ). It should be 290kbps ( transfer rate is nearly 37 KB/sec )

We received a message during Diwali on my cell phone from the Area Manager Deepak for Jogeshwari Mobile Number :[protected] .The offer we received was for a plan which was for 499 unlimited. He took 1500 from us .As we had a bill to be paid for a due date for November 02/2011 for the old plan User ID for the old plan is [protected] but he took the payment in cash for the old plan before the due date which was on October 24/2011. So I paid the money for the old plan and also paid money to get the new plan. He adviced us that we pay him 4500 to him and get the service for free for 12 months an there would be no risk as he would pay this 4500 for the entire year and I do not have pay money every month for the new plan. He informed us that we can use as much as we want unlimited but the bill will not be more than 550 but when checked the bill it was for 772 for the new plan. I keep getting call daily from your customer service advising me to pay for the old plans which we had paid already before the due date as your Area Manager Deepak has taken the bill money for the older plan in cash.Till date I keep getting call to pay the bill for the old plans which Iam feed up of. I have been trying to provide all the details to every agent I keep getting calls every day and I keep explaining my entire story.Everytime I get assurance from your Customer Service Agent that this matter will be resolved and they will look into it.But from the last 15 days nobody has taken care about it. Also I did get a call from Deepa she took all the details and advice that she will call Area Manager Deepak and check with him regarding the same. She called me back stating that they did received the payment for the old plan and she did apolozise for the inconvenience caused. But after that again I started getting calls stating that the payment was never received for the old plans. I request you to look into this matter as soon as possible. I am feed up by the call I get to make payment for the old plan which I have already made even before the due date. I request that you take some actions against such people who cheat their customer. I tried calling this person phone but is either switch off or unreachable. If I don’t receive any faster response regarding this I would file a complaint with the Consumer Court that Tikonaa is cheating people. I need and answer when I was promised that my bill will be not more than 550 per month why am I paying for 772 for the bill. Where is the money that I paid for my old plan gone. As we belong to a middle class family since the bill was more that we used to get from our old plans and we trusted your Executive for the new plans stating that the bill will not be more than 550 per month unlimited that was the reason o[censored]s being taking the new plan. When we asked him questions he said that since it is Diwali that was the reason why the company offering such plan. Wating for a quick response.     got a tikona connection, seeing the promised speed and cost. service was good worked fine for the first two days then problem started... complained more than five times to the customer care..few complaint no.s are[protected],[protected],[protected].... no one showed up in the promised 48 hrs period. then called the executive who installed my device... he worked on the setup.. connection was fine but problem started again after a day!!!!! now getting a speed of about 5-10 KBPS on ful799 unlimited plan (on promised speed of 600 kbps(about 60 KBPS)). many of my friends are facing the same prob.
    the concerned people should look into the company, if they are not worth should be banned. it will save us people from a lot of misery.

    this is not only faced in tikona it s ok cos nw nly it s establishing bt well developed airtel it s worst service i have ever faced. i first used bsnl broadband connection its plan and speed ok but service s not gud and more hidden charges in it bt it s better wen compared to airtel most irresponsible are there i cant speak more than that damn it problem occured immediately after 1 month i made many call to customer care just waste of money daily one s taking and asking d whole story about problem and not taking any action to curb it they didnt ask anything for 2 months bt after that they made a phone call and asked 2 pay 2000 i dont find any justice in their work. we lodged a complaint many times each time they are sending reference number bt no action. they are not service minded only money minded irresponsible they made a phone call 2 me 2 pay 2000 hw without using connection i can pay that, daily they are making a phone call and begging 2 pay that money.

      I have got a internet connection of 150 kbps with unlimited download plan of 499 rs/month .I am stayed at mansarovar kamothe navi mumbai.But the speed now i am getting for surfing uploading and downloading is 4 kbps .I have complain the tikona customer care and talk with imran umesh abhaydad(team leader) birendra this persons but there is no solution for 5 days.Is there is any solution plz give me solution

      I've got an internet connection of 150 kbps with unlimited download plan of Monthly rentle Rs. 499/- .
      I'm staying in MIRA ROAD. 1st day i was checking the speed, it was 70 kbps, i thought that it's being cause of some network problems. But now i m getting only 11 to 12 kbps. it's not 1/10 of the spped.
      The executive is not reciving my call. My LAN had also broken. I m in trouble to do other works. I'm using pan drive to copy the files or printing pupose from one pc to another.

        Dear Sir

        I was given the demo for Tikona Broadband & It was working fine with one module.
        After paying initial charges , Modem was there with one more external antenna ( For which I have to keep open my window 24 hours. & also USB antenna for my laptop.

        Problem 1. just for having wireless net i have to have 3 instruments at a time instead of promised a modem.
        Problem 2: instead of getting 150 KPBS i am getting 97 KPBS & uploading 6 KPBs speed & that also some time can not open even one site & can not download or upload , can not send even few KB email !!!!
        Problem 3: most of the time to get connected to net after switching on modem , takes 30-60 minutes struggle, many switch on/offs.
        Problem 4: False promises to solve the problems by customer support lines & sales guys.

        mere ghar tikona digital network ka 9-3-2010 ko installation hua tha tab se lekar aajtak[protected] tak net connect nahi hota hai maine iski kayi sari complaint bhi call center aur email k through ki hai par waha se hamesha ek hi jawab milta hai k aapki complaint concern dept ko frwd kar di gayi hai aur engineer aapke ghar visit karega par aajtak koi engineer nahi aaya hai. tikona digital network public k saath sirf cheating karti hai.
        i am totally unhappy towards ur service wht u told us before and the kind of service u r providing now really if i wont receive good service i wont pay the monthly charge and i will say to my friends not to take tikona internet

        Tikona Broadband — No service from the time of installation

        I wish to inform ALL out there, please do not take the so called TIKONA broadband,because none in the call centre understand any complaint from the customer and their response is like, We have call more than 8-10 times, and still there is NO RESPONSE from TIKONA people. I am in 300kbps plan and most of the time i cannot get connected to their so called ACCESS POINT. i think someone should complain in CONSUMER COURT, as i feel like me, there mustbe many people suffering and on top of that they send us FULL USAGE BILL for the zero connectivity and pathetic download. I think they should be BANNED by the GOVT OF INDIA for taking the customers for granted.

        I have purchased a Tikona internet connection on 26/05/2010 and its not worked at all after so many complaints to their complaint no.[protected] and email them attached below they didn’t rectify problem but threaten to pay the bill Today also I got call from a Tikona representative from mobile no. [protected] at 14 : 26 and a lady is threatening me to pay the bill.

        LAST YEAR IN JULY I HAD APPLIED FOR CONNECTION.
        THE SERVICE ENGINEER(AMOL) INSTALLED THE EQUIPMENT WHICH DID NOT WORK.
        BUT HE TOOK Rs500/= and directed another service engineer to look into.
        After a week another gentleman came and he said that there is no network coverage here therefore this will not work.
        on the toll free no i have registered the complaint.
        till today 28/05/11 only phone calls are coming for payments for which the system is not working.

        I am using Reliance broadband good one.
        TIKONA IS WORST .

        i need my Rs 500/=back.

        Tikona Tech support is horrible. Firstly they keep using technical jargon and when I asked them how much is 1 MB in kilobytes they couldnt answer me. This means that they simple provide information based on what is written.

        I say that support personnel must learn before going out on field to provide service.
        I have paid 5700 as advance rental for 6 months for a plan of 1 Mbps broadband.
        I was informed that I would get constant speed and the download limit would be virtually unlimited. (180 GB for six months) which was okay according to my need.
        Once the connection got installed I started facing the below mentioned problems:-
        1. Connection does not connect and hence I cannot access internet service.
        2. need to call the technical guy from the company who comes and fixes the problem temporary and again within a day or 2 the connection goes off and I have to call the call centre, have to describe everything from the very beginning and again the technical guy comes and fixes the problem temporary and again the connection drops.
        3. I was not at all getting the download speed of 1 mbps for which i paid the money and then later on I was informed that I wont get download speed in torrent downloads.
        4. The companies marketing personnel didnt tell me about any such condition and now he is not even answering my calls becuase he knows that he is in fault.
        5. constantly being frustrated by such problems almost for 1.5 months I applied for disconnection on 14th June, 2013 and was informed that I would get the disconnection within one week.
        6. Since then the company has stopped communicating and communicates only when i drop a mail to then regarding the disconnection status. Further, everytime the people fromthe call centre calls and say the same thing that the disconnection is in process and ill get a call within one day from their team but no one calls and I have to again start the follow up with the company for the disconnection status which till now has not happened.
        7. My so much of time, money (telephone call as the company toll free number is never free and so I have to make calls to landline numbers which are chargeable) and my professional due to no connectivity of internet since so long.
        8. I simply want my money back and disconnection from the compay but dont know the company is simply avoiding and not doing anything to get the problem resolved.

          I wanted to apply for the wireless internet connection after seeing several Ads of Tikona.
          I had called the Tikona Toll free NO : [protected] , they registered me as a new customer with my mobile number and residence address and informed me that their marketing person will get in touch with me. waited for 2 days, no reply from the company, called up again and they asked me whether i had registered, when i mentioned my mobile number which was registered earlier, they said no such number was registered.So i planned to register again with all the information again and this time i had noted the registration number or the call number.again after 2 days, same state of affairs, my mobile number was still not registered and shockingly their call number or registration number was also not registered. this was repeated atleast 7 times, later i took the initiative to write to the customer care email address mentioned in the website : [protected]@tikona.in on 27th february. till date havent heard from them nor any reply email.
          Somehow i got in touch with a roaming marketing guy and planned to take a connection and finally got the connection on 15th march 2010 under the plan of 150kbps. I used for 2 days but i was getting only 60 kbps, so i planned to upgrade to next plan for 300kbps on 17th march 2010 and the customer care people gave me 24 hrs for the upgradation and they gave me a complaint number. after 32 hours, my plan was not upgraded and they told me within 12 hours it will be upgraded and was given a new complaint number.waited for 24 hours without being upgraded. when i asked for the status of my earlier complaints, both the numbers were invalid and i was informed of 24 hours for upgradation.being obsessed and upset i asked the customer care personal to connect to their team manager,they refused to connect and said only way was to be in touch with the email which is mentioned earlier in this mail,for which i knew i will never receive a reply.
          in our country, every new license holder is being studied and reviewed with the company profile to provide the license or not but still there is no review procedure whether the service and customer care are working fine and customers are satisfied or not.
          tikona being INternet service provider, out of which tikona is incapable to provide 2 words, INternet and Service.
          As a customer, i would request such companies shud be reviewed of their service or should be barred from the license.

          I want to change the plan of my internet connection from 650 to 300.

          I am having the same kind of problem. MTNL is far much better than Tikona. I have called sevral time the guy who came to install tikona internet here at my place. I live in Delhi (Mahavir Enclave). They install everything but Wi-Fi.. I took this internet connection jsut because of Wi-Fi and I am not getting this service. Well I got thie internet connect on 5th of march. Almost the one month has gone. I am not going to pay anymoney. And will stop using this internet on 5th of april. If they push me to pay. I will sue them in consumer court.
          PS:- Just one day I had the good speed adn rest of the time and days it sucks.. I have 300kbps..

          Tikona Digital Network : A Daylight Fraud

          I strongly agree to what ppl hav said and understand the frustration behind it. Here is my story :

          While givng the demo i enquired the executive 3 times regarding speed.He promised me to provide 600kbps through out the month as i had signed up for the same(Unlimited 600kbps). First two days i got only 300kbps. I remained patient and enquired. I was told that it would be fixed soon. Right from the third day it reduced to 120kbps. I was furious and when contacted customer care I was told i had reached fair usage limit. Within 1 week the speed has reduced to 70-80kbps. Now I have to pay Rs 700 for this damn thing. Guys my mobile internet is much faster than this.
          This is a pure fraud. I have been cheated. Kindly go for some other subscribers than this one.

          As all the customers told already, I am also one of the victim of the Tikona. Hope they have paid huge money to the polititions and getting the license. If the CBI goes deep in to the 2G scam there may be some link with this company. Because they are providing such a worst network service and the customer care is purly punishable.

              Hi,

              I took tikona connection around 1 months back and I have been continuously facing trouble with the speed. I am paying for the plan of 300kbps and I always and consistently getting slow speed as low as 8kbps.
              I am so frustrated calling them continuously and they always make false promises to resolve it. They have lied to me so many times about the issue but the truth is they are not correcting the speed at their end.
              Please suggest if some strict action can be taken against such worst service that provides mental agony to customers through their false promises.

              Sorry but you have chosen a wrong Internet Service provider.
              Same here, my Line is 512kbps but i get 256kbps more than 10-15 hours of 24hrs.
              The spped is shown 40kbps because it includes some LAN activity.

                Hi this is kiran from dombivali,mumbai, tikona wireless broadband had signed mou from me that they will give me cheque payment of rs.6000 annually for tower installation on my building,I had gave NOC for my three buildings & they had installed the tower also,more than 3 months over from tower installation they had not given me single payment.I request them they should give me the payment at the earliest or i have to take legal action on them.

                so dont choose the tikona my suggestion is to go for local isp or beam as they resolve the things fastly what the joke is even after the disconnection on december i am getting the bill for february 15 2014 .

                  I have booked your tikona service on 28/2/10 & given cheque of Rs.3303/- to Mr.Harsh (Tikona Sales Advisor). He confirmed me about installation on same day (means Sunday). But some reason he did not complete that day. he has given reason that company does not have cable for installation.
                  he has given me today's date (2nd march up to 5 o'clock) but after 7'o clock he couldn't pick up the phone after lots of rings so i have called him from another local no & he received my phone and told me same answer (cable not available) & he will return my cheque tomorrow.

                  So Que is tikona is big company & having big fighter peoples in it, but company have no cable for installations.

                  We are same in service field but never do just like you, same yaar.....

                  I have given cheque to Mr Avinash on 31st March 2010. He promised me installation would happen in 48 hours. Today is 7th APril 2010. I am still waiting for installation to happen. On saturday 3rd April I called to customer care for the forst time as Avinash and area manager Praveen is not picking up my calls. The guy in customer care promised me installation would happen in 24 hours. From 3rd April to 7th April I am calling customer care every day. Every day some different person picks up the call and gives me deadline of 24 hours.

                    I applied for a connection with Tikona Broadband on 15 February 2010. The representative came and checked my site for signal and took the documents, application form and a cheque of Rs 500/- on 21 February 2010. I was promised that the installation will occur the same day.

                    After a lot of complaints, I received a call from Tikona care[protected] on 26 February 2010 saying that my form has been processed and installation will occur within 24 hours.

                    After waiting for two more days and after a numerous complaints, I sent a complaint by email to nodal officer, Delhi with no reply from him.

                    Telephone calls to Nodal Office, Delhi[protected] don't get picked up.

                    On 3 March 2010 11.42 a.m , I received another call from Tikona Care[protected] stating that engineers have been sent for installation and will reach at 01:00 p.m. I took a leave from my office but still the engineers did not come.

                    I called Tikona Care again to know about the installation and I received another complaint number[protected] and an assurance that representative will contact within 24 hours.

                    In spite of repetitive complaints at Tikona customer care, The installation has still not been done.

                    Each time I am given a complaint number and said that the representative will contact you in 24 hours.

                      Hi,

                      If you would have shifted the position of your modem that you may not get signal. Kindly place it somewhere near your window to get the strong signal. You may check the signal strength with the lights displayed on modem. If the 4th led is green and constant that means you have got strong the signal. If its blinking you may still go ahead with the connection. If it is not showing green light then there is a concern. Try adjusting your modem position near the window.
                      The least said is the best regarding the Tikona Cust care.Probably they work in vacuum and are absolutely oblivious to what is happening around them.I had a subscription with them ( started in Jan 10 Bearing iD No [protected]) .The service never rose up to required levels of satisfaction and attracted eight complaints in first 20 days of operation.Finally on 04th of Feb 10 a formal service request ( bearing no[protected] was generated at the cust care for termination of service.To my utter surprise and dismay no confirmation came from cust care who had promised a closure within 7 days .
                      On 19th Feb again a formal service request ( bearing no[protected] was generated at the cust care for termination of service.
                      Now the best part, since then Tikona has shot me two bills for payment for which i never used their services.To top it all they have bombarded me with umpteen calls for payments of the same.
                      On 02nd april again the whole story is being narrated to their cust care( cc officer -Nazia).Hoping aainst hope that things will fall in place.
                      So ironical that their customer care care never CALLS and their payment section never STOPS calling.
                      WISH THAT THE CUSTOMER CARE WAS AS ALERT AND SENSITIZED TO THE CUSTOMER'S REQUIREMENT RATHER THAN BEING SUCH A PAIN.
                      If the top management at Tikona has any feel for their customers hope this would serve as an eye opener and a grim reminder to the actual situation at ground level which is abysmally pathetic.

                      I really have no words.
                      Inspite of seeing all these complaints forum in June we continued the connection until July. Ofcourse cancelled it again.
                      But inspite of paying 2 months bill and installation charges, they still charge us with an additional bill of around 1K. and send a legal notice.
                      I want to sue them in return and ask for a waiver for all the tortures services they have provided me for 40 days.. Will that be possible?

                        I stay in mulund west and I had taken Tikona internet services by paying installation charges of 500 Rs.They had come for inital survey and told that the signal is fine.However after paying up they came after few days did the installation and it didnt work,they connected some antennas and also kept some unit hanging in air in the balcony but still it was not working.
                        I have been calling them at customer care [protected] since 31st Jan and complaint no is[protected].But everyday the tect support informs me that within 24 hours it will be refunded.

                        I have installed Tikona internet Wifi at my home in delhi on[protected], . from the day-1 i am facing a problem of poor network. some one from technical department advised me that they'll provide me an Antenna. but till date i haven't recieved any stuff for my better network.

                        I have escalte my mail to the nodal officer and other tikona officers that if it'll not resolve within 24hrs i'll approach to the Consumer Court.

                        If the company has not the efficency to increase the frequency of their network then why the hell the offer such service.

                        Awaiting for their response and i am not going to pay them for the 1st bill.

                        I am taken tikona net connection on 7th feb 2011 with a querterly plan(3months) and i paid 2095/- including tax, at the time of taking connection the executive said sir u have to pay the bill before 15th date of the month and said no need to pay the bill upto 7th may 2011 and browsing and downloading are unlimitted.

                        now the tikona care sent a message to me that i have to pay the bill 1327 before 5th of may.i am suprised by seeing that message because i am in querterly plan,immediately i called tikona care and said i am in querterly plan sir and i paid the total amount of 2095/- at the time of taking connection for 3 months.(550 per month)

                        the tikona care person said sir 7th feb to 15th feb is one month bill completed and 15th feb to 15th march one month completed and 15th mar to 15 apr 1 month completed

                        we have 30 or 31 days in a month but the tikona care person said i[censored] take connection on 14 th morning the next day 15th night 12Am is one month(1 day per month)

                        and i said i will go to consumer court regarding this issue they said any help regarding tikona sir..
                        the executive person which is given the connection lifted the phone one time and i said every thing about the conversation he said no need to pay the bill sir and also he ask to send my username,mail id and mobile no....now he is not lifting the phone

                          1.) From 24th of Jan i am unable to connect the internet connection till yesterday.

                          2.) Daily i used to call customercare and chat for 20min atleast but still there was no response till date

                          3.) Yesterday it got connected luckly but with very low speed about 20kbps(surfing speed) but my actual was 256kbps

                          4.) From 24th jan i was on the toll free number more than the time i spent on connecting TIKONA internet.

                          5.) Billing will not be delayed by "48 hrs" but the complaint registered / or to solve them it will take 2 weeks or more than that.

                          6.) Minimum of 7 minutes it will take to connect to TIKONA care officer either in day time or at night.
                          please pick your customer care phone i had changed my plan from 499 to 799 but in my account both the accounts are existing. please help me, and contact me as soon as possible.

                          Anyhow i am totally not satisfied with the poor service offered to me by the people of tikona.Then came the bill for my usage. I took it an went to the office of tikona in alwarpet, I was made to wait for nearly 3 hours for meeting the zonal manager named Sudhakar. But he used abusive languages on me when i told that i am not gonna pay the bill unless they fix another AP in my locality. At last he told his technicians to remove my connections and to terminate my account. Even at that case he wants me to pay the billed amount and to leave the office. He also threatened me about facing legal actions for payment of bill for the poor service offered that too for the only 30 days. When i asked about the deposit money he said that it all got over for the connection that was provided to me.So for a poor unlimited 300kbps speed connection on the whole i paid Rs.500+849=1349
                          So please dont ever buy tikona. Be aware

                          I got tikona probably on 12th of feb,
                          and I had subscribed for unlimited download plan for which I was promissed 2mbps for the first 400mb download which never happened..

                          The downloading speed never increased more than 1.2 to 2 kbps,
                          and apart from this pethetic condition of connection I am fed up of calling tikona call centers.

                          I called them many many times all they do is give a reference number. and no follow up of complain logged.
                          moreover the set up done by tikona engineers is so terrible that they have no knowledge how a LAN plug is locked.
                          now the LAN cable is always loose to the NIC port and i have to hold the cable to use Internet.
                          so intenet keeps disconnecting.
                          I tried to contact the salesman from whom I bought this connection but he is more concern about taking the phone no. of my friends who may buy tikona connection.
                          I am so Dam frustrated with this tikona connection that i feel like the throwing all this set up in dustbin and sueing Tikona in consumer court for false advertisement and promises.

                            I am gerard mathias secretary of the Chandrika enclave apartments at Anna nagar West Chennai. My user id is [protected] and billing a/c no. is[protected].
                            From Tikona company, some officials came to my house and asked permission to install the equipments required for broadband connection on the terrace of our apartment, I was very hesitant expressing various difficulties nevertheless after lot of promises by the then officers/executives I agreed for the installation of the equipment. Later on one of the senior positioned executive came to my home and asked me to sign a form which promised me as a secretary of the apartment eligible for 50% concession of the broadband plans I opt for and he promised that no installation charges would be there, hence I opted for 599 plan. I was having BSNL broad band connection and it was used well by us. since, I was getting this broadband I surrendered the BSNL in good faith. further the executive told me that this association of our apartment would be eligible for a commission amount for every customer enrolls to Tikona in our apartment.
                            I was made through on 31.12.2009 by the technical persons by installing an internal cable.
                            I received my first SMS from Tikona stating that 1212 has to be paid by me which includes installation of Rs.500 + Rs.599 + tax.
                            I was taken back not because of the pricing but because of the false promises made by the managers or who eve it may be of the Tikona company.
                            I have tried to contact the customer care and they registered my complaint as no.[protected].02.2010 I think )and since there was no reply I tried once again and the customer care people told me within 24 hrs some body from Accounts wing will contact me.No body responded hence today I rang again to customer care and they gave a new complaint no.[protected]. and as usual no body reverted back. hence I rang to them again and after a long perusal they gave me this site to complain.
                            I am not happy the way it is going on in Tikona and I feel that not only I was let down but everybody in our apartment was let down. In the next meeting I will bring all the fact to the members of our apartment and will be acted upon.
                            This is my bitter experience with Tikona and some thing has to be done by the management else I will be happy if you could immediately, disconnect my connection and take back the instruments used for downloading at my home and collect the amount and relieve me of this nasty situation, which is really bugging me

                            u have consumer forums available wich is very much consumer favourable...
                            before taking the connection..take everything in written and then go ahead and take an action..

                            Yes, i too agree with you. Tikona service is very bad and they don't have any professional behavior. they have charged me extra billing ( service tax on istalation charges what they have already collected before the billing period) and when I contact them, there is no proper response from the call center person. They are un-professional person and they don't know how to deal with customer.

                            I have raised 2 complaints so far on extra billing, but these compliants were closed without any solution or justification.

                            They service is very bad and useless.

But penalty of Rs 25 has not been paid since I could not received invoice copy either through E-Mail or hard copy since the date of installation of broadband.                               Hi I a resident of Gurgaon using internet of some company named Youtelecom. From past few days some marketing executives are visiting the houses saying that they are from Youtelecom and asking for payment to change the plan to Wifi. But when I call to Youtelecom they says that they don't have any wifi connection. One of my relative told that these guys are from Tikona company and selling connections in the name of Youtelecom saying that youtelecom and tikona are same. Pls be careful this can happen with anyone.

                              Yes I strongly agree with this. I think Tikona guys are taking benifit of youtel. I know Youtel and Tikona are totaly different company. I used tikona in sec 56 worst service. At the time of cheking connectivity tikona people show the speed of 600 kbps but once you pay the speed reaches to 6 kbps mind blowing speed in the world. Then you Keep calling tikona people and they will repeatdly says that this is signle problem, signale is weak sir, we are doing our best sir. But they will do nothing just wait and watch
                              Guys, we need to be educated. Now one can make fool o[censored]s. Now goy of a reputed company would approach like a thug. So stop spreading the false stories. If you are not satisfied with the services of your service provider dont bad mouth other internet service providers who are doing good.

                              If you use internet arent you that much educated whom to trust and whom not to. Bad mouthing not only harms the brand image of other company but also the efforts of entreprenuers.

                              this is the worst service i have ever got, the contact center supervisor are always busy in meeting or with some other work they are so busy that they never come over the phone when asked for the supervisor and i am tired of calling them, the rep keeps on hold and speaks to the supervisor and gets back to me but the supervisor will not, very busy supervisor either with loads of work or no work..how much ever you request them they will never come over the phone i think so there is only one supervisor or none????..the same verbiage is used repeatedly supervisor is busy he cant come...Hmmm we should take some strict action against them and even the reps drop the calls ...

                              DO NOT TAKE TIKONA WIFI EVER.
                              When I first inquired about Tikona Wifi, they rushed to give me a hurried, instant connection within a day. Looks like they are in a hurry to grab customers for their sub-standard service. Also, they had told me that it was a fixed cost of 600 per month plus 75 for wireless (it never works on wireless anyway so that's pointless). But on my first bill, they charged me Rs. 500 again for installation (which I had already paid) and also charged an extra 386 for antivirus and plan charges, which they conveniently omitted to tell me when I got the connection - even though I specifically confirmed monthly expenses with them.
                              I have asked them several times from the first week onwards to discontinue the service because the network is always down and the speed is extremely slow, but they have not. I have lost business and clients because of this pathetic service and I don't intend to pay their bill or continue with their service.
                              I would not recommend them to anyone. Beware of this company and its false promises.

                              I am tikona broad band user and i would like to share my experience.
                              TIKONA BROAD BAND SERVICE IS PATHETIC, AWFUL.
                              People first send the bill and then disconnect the service (broad band connection)
                              Had been to Tikona Office spoke to N number of people, assured all false promises but nothing works

                              If wind blows or even if it drizzles I lose the connection. I managed for a while, paid their bills even though the bill was never sent or received.
                              Walked up to their door steps explained, the service was active for a week. One of the Tikona officials asked me to ignore the bill (which was sent by SMS) and now they have disconnected the connection.

                              However, I still liked their practice of disconnecting the connection and then sending the bill.

                              Hi guys iam a user of the world"s Worst and wold's Top 1 (from last) net Thats 1 n only TIKONA. Which is Hispeed in words but not in net. Not only marketing people but also the customer care people are als o FRAUDS.
                              The worst internet service provider is tikona Please don't think to use it. you will lose ur money and time also.

                              i have given a complaint regarding my service that i was not able to connect to the internet on[protected] at 7:40PM and your customer care executive registered my complaint and gave me a complaint number "1-[protected]".
                              i have waited for 3 days i.e,[protected],[protected] and[protected] for the service engineer, but the service engineer didn`t came. again on[protected] at 10:30 AM today morning i have called the customer care and gave another complaint regarding my internet connection problem, she told me that they have assingned three service engineers and my complaint was forwarded to three of them and she gave me their names and numbers. at last i have requested for the complaint number and she gave me"1-[protected]".and waited for the whole day for any of the service engineers she mentioned, but not even a single service engineer came to my house.
                              and again i have called to the customer care now in the evening, i.e,[protected] at 6:36 PM and told that no service engineer came to my house to fix the problem. i asked him to register the complaint and give me the complaint number. but the customer care executive didn`t give me the complaint number and told that he shouldn`t give the complaint number.

                              since i have insisted him for the complaint number and told it was compulsory, he gave me a number"1-[protected]". while am writing the number i came to know that it was the complaint number given by your customer care executive kalyani while i gave a complaint today morning[protected] at 10:30 AM and told him the same. again he changed the complaint number and gave me "1-[protected]" which i was previously given by your customer care executive on[protected] at 7:40PM and again i told him the same. i asked him how can he give me the previous number for the fresh complaint he made that too three days before complaint number. then he put on hold and talked to some other officer and gave me fresh complaint number "1-[protected]" and told that i will recieve a call from mumbai within half an hour and your technical support executive will call me and tell me when the service engineer will come.
                              i have waited for more than an hour for the call from mumbai. but i didn`t recieve any call from mumbai, so i got a doubt why because the mumbai team will respond and act very fastly and they will call me within half an hour when ever i register a complaint with them. but today i didn`t get a call from the mumbai team. so i got a doubt and came to cybercafe and checked my tikona account. really i was shocked, when i see my service request page i have seen the stars.

                              THE COMPLAINT WHICH WAS GIVEN BY ME ON[protected] AT 7:40PM bearing complaint number "1-[protected]" WAS REGISTERED ON THE NEXT DAY on[protected] and was closed on the same day[protected]. one thing which i cannot understand is, how can a service request can be closed without solving the problem. noteven the service engineer approached me and check the connection, but the service request was closed on the same day.

                              and the complaint which i was given today morning i.e,[protected] at 10:30AM bearing complaint number "1-[protected]" was registered on[protected]. really this shocked me very much, ok if my request was registered on the next day as my complaint on[protected] which was registered on[protected] we will think that they are adjusting the complaints according their available time, but how can a complaint given by me on today can be registered on yesterday, one day before and its status is under progressing and it was last updated on[protected], which is tomorrow. really i don`t know whether your executives are travelling in time or your company is travelling.

                              the complaint given by me on today[protected] at 10:30 AM bearing complaint number "1-[protected]" was registered on dated[protected]and it was last updated 0n[protected] on today itself i.e,[protected]. this itself resembles how your organisation is working and your staff is working.

                              and one final shocking thing is the complaint which i haven given on today evening i.e,[protected] at 6:26PM bearing complaint number "1-[protected]" was registered on dated[protected]and already it was closed on[protected]. this shows how your employees are fond of to serve their customers, by seeing this am planning to join your company to do job, so that i too can travel in time friend.

                              this all looks funny to read, but this is how your company is working. i don`t know who is your H.R. first of all he should be fired from the company. if it is not tikona i`ll go for another company, but every customer thinks like me, you have to close your company one day. even now am sure that i won`t recieve proper service from you.

                              hi friends just now i have sent this mail to tikona customer care, lets wait and see what action they will take.
                              I also Agree. I am from gurgaon. I have ordered my connection 7days back and that time the SAles person (Who has introduced himself as Area manager) as commited me that you will get the connection in 2-days. I am still waiting from last Wednusday, no reply and amezing thing is that he has given me his numbers and he is not responding my calls from last seven days. I called Tikona care and they informed me that after the payment it will take 7 days to install as per the policy.

                              Suddunly THE AREA MANAGER has attanded my call yesterday and told me that person is comming for installation in 2 hours. I wait for 3 hrs then again called he has relied the peron is coming from Huda City Center to Sec 40 (my Place) and stuch in rail. I saw out side and the sky was clean. :) :)

                              I dont what will happen with me after 7-Days... So guys please aware if you are going to Tikona specially in Gurgaon.

                                I had taken this service in the month of Dec 2009 till date i have not got full service. by that what i mean is that right from the beginning the Dialer gave problems in connecting. Later The speed kept dropping ...i had opted for a CB449 package (3Mbps).. when one contacts the customer care they ask u to check the settings at that particular if the network works they consider it as the connection is fine.. but the next time u get a "limited or no connectivity" problem u try contacting the customer care they say they will send an engineer to rectify it...but till date my problem has not been resolved..

                                Its a request to all the people that plz be carefull before u opt for TIKONA...

                                tikona broadband service is poor.Our ID no is [protected] Chennai. For 35 days network was not available and nearly 15 days past, your technician hasn't came back to do cablefitting. Our house-owner is complaining to remove that modem from the terrace.

                                Tikona Broadband — Bad service provider

                                I am an existing customer of tikona broadband. Most of time there connection down. I complained many times. Only receive several complain number. But the problems remain same. No permanent solution they have provided. Always tell it will be resolved. Some time the customer care representative try to convince that it's all your side problem. This is not the first time that i am using broadband. I already had used Airtel, BSNL, TATA. But i can only say tikona is the worst service provider. Every 2nd there is connectivity problem. I am really fed up as a consumer but I already paid.
                                I had Tikona postpaid Internet connection but the Internet was not working properly. When I talked to the customer care they are not able to short out the problem. They short out the problem when they required bill payment. After two such months I decided to disconnect the net and convey the message to customer care. They disconnected the net immediately and want me to pay the whole month of bill. I have already paid 2 months of full bill that I haven't used. My work was hampered in those two months. Now they are demanding rs.500 of last month payment when I deny to pay this they Added bill to Rs.1700 and now harassing me on phone. How can I file a consumer harassment complain. And how can I avoid the last payment I am not satisfied with the services of Tikona.
                                I have a problem for the net connection. i am going to shift where there is no coverage of any service provider except Tikona. i am getting some bad word of mouth regarding tikono. so please tell me that should i go with tikona or not???
                                Service is ok but Company is Fraud. After your Disconnection it also send bill and if you are talk with customer care person they are replying your service is not close on our end. I am not getting if company technician was disconnect my connection then after who is responsible for close service status in company system. It Totally fraud company don;t be-leave on its any commitment.

                                  I had got my net connection on 3rd/4th of Jan. I was dismayed by the kind of Internet broadband connection they provide which only gives a speed of 2-3KBps at 2 o'clock in the night.
                                  From this statement you can understand that I particularly did not
                                  have a good experience using the net connection. Probably the sales
                                  guy’s accounts are fudged to show speeds as high as 2000kBps during
                                  demonstration and to lure customers. But to my surprise the “good
                                  feelings” about their product ended right after I got my internet connection installed.
                                  My net connection suddenly stopped working on 8th Jan’10.
                                  I had given my first complaint to their technical team/call centre team
                                  on Friday, 8th Jan’10. I was told that someone will call up in 2 hrs.
                                  I thought it was pretty fast but as you might have understood by now,
                                  I was highly dismayed. Next I called up on the 9th Jan and I was told
                                  that the technical team will call up within 48 hrs and my complaint
                                  would be dealt with. I waited till Monday evening (by then 72 hrs had
                                  already passed since the first complaint) and called up again at the
                                  toll free no. That translated into me having to wait for 15 mins
                                  holding my phone to talk with one of the floor supervisors who again
                                  gave me the crap of 48 hrs. When nothing had happened by the next day
                                  evening (4th day since the first complaint) I again called up and
                                  again one of the floor supervisors told me the same thing. It was as
                                  if they do not know anything else to speak other than “sir aapka kaam
                                  48 hrs mein ho jayega” and have been trained like a parrot without
                                  realizing what is actually happening. In hope of some action from their side I called
                                  up again the next day (5 days had passed since my first complaint)
                                  and again I get the same of 48 hrs. Seems like the company
                                  doesn’t value time at all! Moreover, if the company can’t handle
                                  complaints within 48 hrs then what is the use of saying so to
                                  customers. They could as well say 10 days and we might leave their call
                                  centre operatives/technical team at peace. This at least would not
                                  leave them with disgruntled customers like me.
                                  My customer ID is [protected] and Mac ID (last 4 digits) are FA00. It
                                  is registered in the name of my friend Abhishek Sethi with whom I'm currently staying.
                                  I would prefer not having a net connection at all compared with having an extremely bad
                                  Tikona net connection which also brings with it the hazards of mental
                                  torture and wastage of money.
                                  Today (thursday, 14th jan'10) is the 6th day since then and I or my friend have not received a single call/feedback from the technical team. This is highly ridiculous and doesn't set any standards in the market.

                                  from the beginning day i am complaining about the speed and service ..thare is a network fluactuation in tikona..every time i login in gmail it takes 5 to 6 min to open ..if i want to download somthing it starts with 20 kbps and after 2 -3 min it comes to 3-4 kbps ..
                                  and also there is a download limit ..i[censored] r downloading somthing it ll stop downloading after some time giving message that server time out..
                                  till now i had above then 30 complaints but sad not a single complain was resolved..

                                  It is one of the worst network connection that I had, no prompt response from the technical support team, the same old patented response(will attend in 8 hrs, then 24 hrs, then will be 48 hrs, our network engineer will visit and blah blah blah...)so my advise to any one thinking of having this connection is absolutely no no no.

                                  Though I am a consumer of TIKONA I am also sufferer from them right from the beginning. No one is attending any complaint, when you make a complaint on toll free number they are suppose to give a complaint number but they are not giving and with every new operator you have to lodge a new complaint.

                                  About speed there is no consistancy in the speed as they says in demo 2 mbps that never gets.

                                  To add to all these problems execessivev bill ammouns. i have subscribed for 599 unlimited plan still i get a bill of 629 with taxes! eventhoug i v only used their service for 10 only. whenever we lodge a complaint, tho only reply is tat it will bw solved in 24 hours! n thers no solution even after weeks!
                                  i agree to everybody comments. the average speed of 0.10 mbps at peak hrs and upto 0.20mbps at off peak. the first day i instaled the same i was awake till 2:00 am in the night just to get satisfactory speed and took a screen shot of speed through speettest.net after 30 min now i have a data for 2 days which clearly shows the average. i have given a stop payment of cheque which i paid for installation charges becuse the sales guys is not picking the call up and not also the engineer. i am using the worst service. i will continue with my photon + which atleast give anything above 2.5 kbps.

                                  Well I completely agree with all of you guys as even I am suffering the same problem.

                                  The service is extremely pathetic much worst that a Dial Up. The customer/technical service dept are completely unequipped with any technical knowledge of their product or solution to any problem in their service. They are just like IVR who is only instructed to tell that the problem will be solved in 48 hrs (, it doesnt happen)

                                  I took the service in mid feb & from the first week itself i started getting the true service. The whole first week my net didnt work because they didnt sent me the username or pwd.
                                  Well the same of 48hrs from the customer service dept was given to me again & again. Finally when we complained the higher authority we got some respite .. but it was temporary.
                                  We had requested them to setup the Access Point which is a hub they provide on our bldg as the nearest access point was going out of range for my connection, for the same our society had also granted them permission to do so but on one condition that what ever the power consumption it takes, will be borne by Tikona, which obviously they were not ready to do so and so no one responded to that request.
                                  After that first month we regularly got Inconsistent service & slow speed for which we must have called them almost every alternate day. For the last 2 month we were calling them every alternate day to even start our service, but the situation remained the same.
                                  So to make them realize, I havent paid the Bill since last month ... & now the service seems regular offcourse the speeds are slow but ya it has become regular now.
                                  I had received many calls from their recovery agent to pay the bill. I had put forward a condition that if they are ready to give me in writing that i wont face any Issues with the service after my payment, only then I'll pay the Bill, but as expected they were not even ready to commit it verbally forget in writing.

                                  Though I actually dont Intend to do these kinds of acts, but they have forced me to do it.

                                  So i[censored]'ll want to make them realize what problems we are facing u'll can try shaking them with such ways.

                                  I strongly Agree with all those who have written about their bitter experiences with the Tikona broadband connection. My story is also not much different, the only difference being that now I have disconnected my tikona broadband. First, I didn't received any bill for a month and hence was unable to determine how much amount I had to pay. After writing to their billing department, I received a bill which was in the name of some other person residing in Mumbai while I have taken a connection in Pune (Poor guys, they don't even bother checking the bill details to whom they are sending it). The latest errant being that despite the fact that I got my broadband connection disconnected more than a month ago, they still keep me sending the in-applicable bills.

                                  I still curse myself for the day when I decided to opt for this broadband connection. At the end it has proven to be a very painful experience for me both monetarily as well as mentally.

                                  I would strongly oppose for anybody who wishes to take this connection. Think twice, thrice before you choose this connection. Better not to have an internet connection than having Tikona broadband.

                                  Hello guys, i feel pity for all o[censored]. as an educated netizens u shouldn't be the victim of this type fraud company. thy r advertising every where to lure customers (even in this very page i see it!) How they can give u so much for so less even BSNL also couldn't do it? you all seems to be dont think twise wn some one offere more for less. Use govt. service whereever possible. they are certainly not be designed to con ppl or greedy to make quick bucks and some way u will have the satisfaction of contributing the nation. Iv been using BSNL for last 2 years im more than happy about it over all.

                                    hello my name is priyanka p bhoir , i have subscribed for this new net service provider call tikona in dombivli ( mumbai) & my Uid is [protected]. tikona company has shown me a very good demo of high speed internet at my residence. so i have purchased it & after installation from 1st day of there wi-fi service i am getting only 16kbps or say 5 kbps speed i have suffer a lot & every time i complaint them they just give me complaint no. & that's it none of there engg. has yet arrived & nor anyone has solved my problem . now this tikona people has sended me a payment bill & harressing me for that to pay that bill of this sucking low speed internet, iam ready to pay the bill o[censored]sing the lowest speed than dail-up ( & for my foolishness to choose tikona wi-fi ) , but they have to solve my problem or else i'll take action what ever it is required.anyone can come to check my speed of internet , i thought there might be problem in my pc so i have brought a new laptop but still the same. hope i might get justice over here .

                                      500 C plan — Dissatisfied

                                      It is painful that I have not received the broadband connection @ my house after 1 months of our registration in BSNL. Went to the Telephone office 3 times.

                                      Sify Broadband — poor connectivity, low transfer rate etc.

                                      I have lodged a complaint on 16-12-08 with complaint id:7932240 and since then i have lodged 3 more complaints viz: 7951059, 7963627 and 7968200 with regard to the same problem i. E: low transfer rate, slow browsing, no connectivity and till date my complaint has net been resolved.

                                      This being a prepaid connection with 256kbps speed, i have lost nearly 10 days of connectivity and i even requested the call center guys to make good the lost browsing days with a compensation pack, and they agreed to do so, but not given any such package.

                                      This is very bad on a company like sify which is a nasdaq listed company to do so by ignoring the bonafide claims by their customers.

I would like to request you that after registering two complaints there was no fair action taken place with regarding to my extra deduction from the idea prepaid account.                                       Broadband+ — Regarding disconnection of internet

                                      I have purchased reliance broadband+ 3 months back But, I am not receiving any bill on my postal adress. As I am leaving in rural area in bangalore I had requested customer care to send the bill on my personal e mail ID but despite of regular followups I am not receiveing my bill.                                       Home-500c — slow speed & get disconnected during night unlimited period

                                      I am using using Home 500-c plan. In the morning hours the speed of internet is very slow. When I start downloding in during night unlimited period, it disconnected frequentely. Some time I am downloding and it is near to finish, it will be diconnect and ask to connect BSNL.It is waisting lot of time because I have to start downloding from the begining. For 5-10 MB downloding it is taking near about one hour. Please do needfull.

                                      Tikona Digital network/ Wibro Service — No refund of Security Deposit

                                      Refer to my complaint dated 03.11.09. Post that a representative came and did the necessary paper works. He also informed that within 20 days my SD will be refunded and their modems taken from me.

                                      Till date no refund is received by me.

                                      I feel tikona has the worst customer service. I have got this connection (Secunderabad, andhra pradesh) about a couple of months before with an unlimited plan of 600kbps browsing speed. Not a day i was able to browse and download with this speed. The access points erected near my place was faulty and trust me till today the ap (Access points) was neither repaired or replaced. I was able access internet once a while. But i use to get a monthly bill of rs. 881 i have mailed the nodal officer of tikona mr. Nagesh regards this issues but nobody helped me. When i called customer service and raised a complaint, the service team here was least bothered.
                                      I tried reaching the area managers and service team, they use to abruptly disconnect my call. I am sure soon people will stop taking this connection. I have never had such bad experience before.
                                      tikona has really bad service, they show greenary to trap the customer, once u got connection u will suffer slow speed and most of time disconnectivity, and whenever u call at customer care they just give u complaint number but no action frm there, their engineer never come to visit u, i had tikona connection but bcoz of their careless attitude i change it by reliance, dnt get this connetion otherwise u will irritate urself.

But they are not resolved the issue. Their engineer told me that your speed is better. Actually i subscribe mtnl connection with 256kbps. They are providing me 178kbps or facing day to day dis connectivity problem.in six months no body resolved my problem. No any engineer visited my home for the same.                                       Actually i faced mtnl broadband speed or disconnectivity problem from the very first day. I register more than 60 complaints to their customer care at 1504. But they are not resolved the issue. Their engineer told me that your speed is better. Actually i subscribe mtnl connection with 256kbps. They are providing me 178kbps or facing day to day dis connectivity problem.in six months no body resolved my problem. No any engineer visited my home for the same. Then i send a mail to respective email id's within a week they resolve my problem and now a days i am getting 293kbps speed from last 8 months. I tried it works.

                                      Hi! Frns, Alike you i am also a tikona user. I had had same experience of good speed initially. To be very honest i got really good speed in the first month and then the speed had depleted to a very bad speed. However i had been raising complaints since last one and half month, finally i got the number of the zonal manager and i spoke to him. He committed to resolve the problem last monday but its more than a week today and the problem is getting more worse. One more thing, Tikona is using 4g services which are actually unlicensed spectrum yet to be allotted by gov. This means they are using these frequencies illegally.So sooner or later they might face some problems from government. I had already asked them that i am not going to pay any pending bills till the problem gets resolved and the deadline to get the problem solved is today evening 6.30. And if the problem is not solved i will get the line disconnected immediately and will also force them to return my connection charges. The service from the customer care is equally bad. they are just not bothered to revert to clients and the tt is raised only after two three weeks by when the customer is already fed-up. I suggest those who face issues can figure out the contact details of the ZM or speak to Sunil Nair who is heading the service dept for networks in the head office. You can easily get their head office no in bhandup by googling it.

                                      I applied for a new connection on 13/2/2010 and still this company guys not at all bother to fix my connection.Even the area manager is also irresponsible.....
                                      Tikona business is all about cheating innocent people. Their service is pathetic, slow and frequently no connectivity (daily average 4-8 hrs). THEIR BAD CUST CARE is another reason why i left the service after using it for 2 weeks and took back AIRTEL once again .

                                      I have taken new Internet Wireless connection from Tikona in Feb 2010. At the time subscription, the speed was mentioned as 2mbps.

                                      However, since last 1 month the speed is not even coming to 200 Kbps. Sometimes it is so worst that i am not able to connect to the internet also. This because of poor signals and problem of detection.

                                      I was lodged compliant in Tickona customer care but still no one has even bothered to address my query.

                                      This is a Fraud Company - false committments.

                                      Please address my query & take action against this Company.

                                      500C Plan — Non-connectivity for last 5o days

                                      I have informed to BSNL Aligarh about my transfer to new address on[protected], on which the BSNL-Aligarh had connected the Telephone connectivity by 20th Feb, 2010 (with delay) but still after many repeated reminders and requests today on[protected] the SDO (ph no [protected]) and DEO ([protected]) misbehaved with me and denied to take any actions. They switched-off their respective mobiles and harassed me with abuses as and when they picked up their mobiles.
                                      sir/madam when am connecting tikona on 22.02.2010 till it's very slow very means very slow, what is happened it, we are so dissoppientment, here is no helpers there...

                                      I was totally amazed with the speed they showed me in the demo session, and even more amazed when I got to use the internet connection for the first few days. Then everything started bad/slow/disconnections of the internet I felt it initially being a new company they have thier hiccups but then those hiccups turned into a cancer. The company has no management responsibility a set of very highly talented set of technicians sitting as the FPOC(first poit of contact) who have a nice template in front of them apart from which they just know to keep you on wait for atleast 25 minutes. I have had geat experiences of staying on phone more than 63 minutes and the best part is the number they give is not a toll free number even though it starts with a toll free number series[protected].
                                      The most predictive answer you will get if you call them for more than 5 times is SIR!! we will send our EXECUTIVE to your place and your issue will be resolved. I dont know if the EXECUTIVE has to come from "PLUTO" even if some one had to come from there would have come and finished a happy three course meal with me after the problem was solved by now.
                                      The best thing about this company is there is no local person of contact, no one answers the local office phone number.
                                      If you really love to test your patience, love to keep your self busy over phone, just wait to death for your most loved internet page to open up and still just LOVE!!! to pay your ISP then people this is the best place to be.

                                      Hi this is Moon Borah from Gurgaon, I subscribed for tikona wireless network and I should tell u guys, this is one of the worse internet service provider in the country. Think hundred times before taking this service because you will scratch your hairs out after using it. Customer service always tell you the same old stories that concern department will take care of the problem but I am afraid weather the so called concern department exist or not. At the end of the day you will come to the same point where you started. Tikona is a basket of problems so what I suggest is, go for some professional and best company that are in the market. they charge you more but the service will be good according to the plan they promise you.                                       This is in respect with the poor service recieved after taking a new connection with TIKONA as many phone calls were made to have connection query resolved but no one could resolve it even a promised called back by a supervisor did not come through as the state i was in was only wait but the customer sercive also was very bad as the IVR ask to select the option for english the operator will still speak in HINDI.

                                      I recently subscribed to Tikona Digital Networks which projects itself as India's best Digital ISP.

                                      I have taken new Internet Wireless connection from Tikona on 14 March 2010 which has been activated on 27 March. At the time subscription, the speed was mentioned as 300kbps.

                                      I am now victim of this ISP after paying Rs.500 towards intallation charges for a 300kbps internet with a Wi-Fi enabled modem.The service provider has deceived us by installing broadband connection with a cable modem. In addition this cable connection works only intermittently with a very low speed of 2Kbps to 3 Kbps.


                                      I made ample number calls to the Tikona care and ended up gaining nothing. Every time we make a call, they ask of a time period of 24 hours which now added up to 15 days.


                                      This is a Fraud Company - false committments.

                                      Please address my query & take action against this Company.

                                      is not capable of handling the business otherwise it would not had happened.                                       Tikona — Poor service against commitment - Fraud and false promises

                                      In the month of march 2010 I went for Internet connection from Tikona Digital Networks
                                      Since the day I got the connection I am not satisfied with the speed and connectivity.
                                      In this regard I lodged 4-5 complaints to the customer care executives on this no [protected] which is provided by the Tikona Digital Networks.

                                      After all these complaints I haven't received the positive response or better service.
                                      I opted for plan of Rs. 799 per month in which I was promised to receive browsing speed of 600 KBPS and transfer rate of at least 75 KBPS which is 18 of 600 KBPS.
                                      In spite of 75 KBPS as transfer rate I m receiving speed not more then AVG 30 KBPS and with broken connectivity.

                                      I feel Tikona has the worst customer service. I have got this connection (PUNE, MAHARASTRA) about a couple of months before with an unlimited plan of 300kbps browsing speed. Not a day I was able to browse and download with this speed. The Access Points erected near my place was faulty and trust me till today the AP(access points) was neither repaired or replaced. I was able access internet once a while. But I use to get a monthly bill of Rs.600 . When I called customer service and raised a complaint, the service team here was least bothered.
                                      I tried reaching the area managers and service team, they use to abruptly disconnect my call. I am sure soon people will stop taking this connection. I have never had such bad experience before.
                                      according to me it is the worst services provided in the world...
                                      and if my problem is not overcome as soon as possible i will not hasitate to throw this stuff out of my house...so kindly go through my problem...

                                      I am Rahul Choudhary my account ID is [protected].I am facing following problems regarding the N/W connection with Tikona from the last 15 days.

                                      1.very Flucating N/w speed : I have a 2 Mbps plan with tikona but i am getting very less speed some times I am getting aroud only 50-100 kbps speed.
                                      and sometimes getting below average speed according to the plan around 300-700 kbps.
                                      2.One technitial from tikona has visited my place he has check the nano station signal strength and he said that no problem with getting signal there is some access point issue which is taken care by ATS team.
                                      3.Sometimes I am not able to access the internet.

                                      I have complain in the Customer care of tikona but not getting any positive response from the Tikona care.

                                      The ISP company gave me a plan for 300 KBPS which should provide me 37.5 KBPS (download speed is browsing speed/8). However, my internet connections provides me a speed of around 4-10 kbps per sec (sometimes going down to 3-4 kpbs. This is unacceptable. Please action on this. I have uploaded a presentation which shows that the download speed is 12kbps. In the afternoons, it gets worse.

                                      Perhaps if you run the speed test when you are not downloading a file, you will achieve more favourable results.
                                      There has been significant issues affecting ALL ISPs in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and some other countries due to a fault in the primary cable between India and Europe - for about the past 2 weeks.

                                      As such, transfers between Europe, the Middle East and India had to be re-routed through East Asia and the USA.

                                      This issue may or may not have been the cause of your issues, but was resolved this morning and your service should be back to normal.

                                      This is Vishal from Noida. I only wish I had come across this page before taking up the connection. Now that I have read; I am surprised to find out so many people have had the same problems.

                                      Here goes my list of issues:

                                      1. They promised a Wi-Bro ; but the guys who came up to set up the connection were unable to install the WI-Bro software ( guess it doesnt work with windows Vista or at least they didnt know the trick). However they provided a LAN wire recommending this will do for 1-2 days after which their EXECUTIVE will come and fix WI-BRO in 1 or 2 days; which hasnt happened for 2 months now even after thousand calls.

                                      2. Speed- I wanted an unlimited download option and did not need a supersonic speed so went for a 300 kb/s plan. But never thought it would be so horrible that sometimes it would even struggle to open google search page. speedtest.net shows even as low as 40 kb/s at times ( if it opens).

                                      3. customer care- all the above problems and sometime internet totally down-as discussed by others. Some Fat lady or a guy struggling with his english ; more often than not would just repeat--"I am sorry sir"; "I understand your problem Sir"; "I am trying my best sir"; you will definitely get a call tomorrow" but nothing ever happens; no one has visted my house from TIKONA since the activation.

                                      4. They lie and they know nothing technically and at the most they can only tell you to get your IP address and to ping the default gateway; which you wont be able to anyway, because there wont be any connection active so no default gateway.

                                      5. If you tell them that the green light of your router is on and you are still not able to connect ; they will revert saying its a problem with your PC...

                                      6. sometimes; my system shows an 'UNIDENTIFIED LAN connection' and 'No internt connection' ( when I am not able to connect to internet); when you tell this to this damn customer care they behave as if they have never heard of such a scenario. But I guess all the above people have had the same issues.

                                      7. Funniest; at one instant; the customer care guy told me 3-4 times that he has logged my complaint and even gave me a request number; without even taking my user ID; when I confronted him asking how could he do that ; he replied he used my phone number to raise the complaint; when I asked him my phone number ; he was like.. mm.. ahem...

                                      The list goes on..I am yet to see the DIVINE executive of TIKONA; hope I can see one of such species in my lifetime.. ( if it still exists on earth.. hope the last one is not getting killed by some TIKONA customers as i write this note) nevertheless; I am getting rid of TIKONA ASAP.
                                      I had taken the connection in the month of Feb 2010. And the installation was also pretty fast in a days time might bcoz they want to speed up their Sales target. I have taken a plan of 599/-p.m which promises to give a speed of 300kbps. First month was completely fine bcoz i hardly used it. Now since the month of April am having a problem of slow speed, to upload a 2.0mb file it is talking about half an hour.I have been calling the Tikona toll free no since then Their technical Executive are good for nothing i dough if they have even little bit of knowledge of the term call "Technical" i called up 4 times and spoken to the technical exe but the only answer i get it within 48hrs your problem will be resolved.Then i spoke to customer care exe even they just kept given tat of 48hrs i nearly called up everyday for a week and i am still waiting.

                                      Hi..This is regarding Tikona broadband connection...Its pathetic...dont even get one..we had requested for the broadband & in less than 48 hrs engineer was sent n we were given one...we had requested for wireless connection on 9th may & got wired connection on 11th may eveninga rnd 6pm...The engineer promised to give wireless in 2 days n he said theres some tower work goin on in your area..(andheri-mumbai) and the speed will be bit low for a day..then its goin to be fine, .

                                      I infact to be on safer side raised an onlien complaint to tikona customercare about teh wireless connection which we had requested...But in vain...they promised in 48 hrs they ll get back to you..but not a single person has got back...

                                      Meanwhile when we call the person who had given us the connection-he tries escapin [protected]@ times convinces sayin probem nahi hain n all...n he ll get back in 5 min, 10 min, ..(which never happens) its just our phone bill n energy which is wasted tryin to talk to him...

                                      we are now tryin to get our 6 months money which he had taken from us (he convinced syain theres offer where i[censored] take for 6 months-u ll get 1 month internet free n installation free n all) suddenly when we were speakin to customer care they say that we need to hv sepaarte wirless modem which is chargeable...the engineer never told us abt the charges...this is utter cheating...

                                      Hi i am Mushfiq from Pune, I have taken Tikona internet connection two months back, i have opted for a high speed unlimited internet access, still the speed SUCKS, i have really committed a big mistake in opting for tikona, i am not getting the promised speed nor the connection is stable. Tikona customer service SUCKS big time, they are good for nothing, calling them is like dialling a wrong number, they are very stubbon, rude and unwilling to help customers, plus tikona keeps harrasing me by sending bills, i am a busy person so i cannot go and deposit the bill, i tried making online payment several times but it never went through. PLEASE DO NOT OPT FOR TIKONA SERVICES.

                                      i just wondered to google it that how tikona customers feel it & finally i realized that u guys r really feel bad.

                                      but this is not all upto me, even if i want to, i can't bcz its not on my hand. all about these problems ceo of the co. must be aware of this but i think he is not aware of this at all.

                                      the personally what i know is that co. wants to increase its coverage and customers, whatsoever and howsoever. they don't want to maintain their existing customers as they should but they don't.

                                      they give me those addresses of complaints which are 1 week old or even 1 month old complaints to resolve them and when i visit to the the customers site they screamed at me as they should by nature. its not my fault or even i can't argue with my seniors. many times i asked them to give me updated list, sometimes they do but many times they don't. its all happening bcz co. is running not by management but through politics.

                                      i always trying to find out email address of ceo of the co. if i got his email, sure i'll email him and i will explain him everything.


                                      Their APs, PBNs, SERVERs are not capable of good capacity, more than 30 users are connecting through 1 AP and 1 AP is capable of maximum 20 users at a time then how customers would get fast speed. ofcourse users will face slow speed problems..

                                      i have discussed it many times but all in vain. if tikona staffs are not giving their proper service to us then how we(tech executive) can solve signal/slow speed problems.

                                      i want to write so many things here but have no more words for now.
                                      according to me co. is not bad but the management is.

                                      Tikona — disconnect internet line

                                      While taking broadband i have payed 3 month deposit in advance. After that i changed my residential address and ask them to transfer the connection. They not reacted to the request in 1 weeks of time also. After that I have request for disconnection of broadband and refund of my advanced payment left with them.

                                      Tikona — Worst Connectivity, worst Services, Wrong billing

                                      I had taken Tikona Broadband 599 plan on 2nd May 2010. And asked for disconnection on 17th May 2010. I have never seen such bad internet service provider. It used to get disconnected 4-5 hours everyday. Whenever I complained, customer care used to take the complaint and told me a sms would be coming to your mobile and engineer will be visiting your house very soon. I had never got any SMS, no engineer had come to my house to check the problem. After suffering like this, I decided to disconnect the service and submitted my request on 17th May 2010. Customer care told me it would be disconnected within 7 days and asked me not to use the service. I didnt use the service since 18th May 2010. Nobody called me up after that from Tikona regarding the disconnection, nobody came to my house to take their modem etc. I called them repeatedly but they kept on saying that it would be disconnected within 7 days. Today I got a bill of Rs 580 for 15 day usage and the billing cycle is 2nd May - 26th May. Customer Care was not able to show any good reason for the bill amount and asked me to pay the bill, told me again that it would be disconnected within 7 days.

                                      I am really surprised, what sort of company is this. I am feeling like I am mentally tortured by them.

                                      I want to know how can I take an action against for my sheer harrasment.

                                      when I try to pay montly bill online, it is giving "Page not found error" in my browsed.

                                      I activated Tikona wireless broadband when I was told by the sales-person that I would not have to pay for installation charges, also I would get 500 mb/month free.
                                      But, I my bill is included with installation charges(rs. 500) as well as post usage that is just 100 mb/month rather than 500 mb.
                                      Contacted customer care for many a times. They say that they're unable. However, they agree that I'm misguided by their sales-person.

                                      Am extremely sorry to say that the service provided by you people is very poor. I have opted for XFUL1399 1MBPS plan under SME where my download speed is fluctuating in-between 28 - 60 kb/sec. The same has been reported to your technical team on help line number[protected]. You ppl promised that an SMS will be sent when complaint is received and the same for resolution. Neither of them happened in my case. Called your team 4 times still no action done.
                                      Technical team asked for the MAC id of my nano station provided them the both which is printed on the box and the number written on the box. YOUR TECHNICAL TEAM IS UNABLE TO IDENTIFY WHICH IS ASSIGNED TO MY IP AFTER PROVIDING THE NUMBERS even, which shows the ability of your team.

                                      Called up the area sales manager and raised with him, he didn’t show any interest.
                                      Called up the installation guy the same repeated. Its been 1 week I opted for the connection am facing N NUMBER OF ISSUES. On 15 june it was disconnected completely and I was able to connect only on 16 june again.

                                      TIKONA TEAM IS CHEATING PEOPLE USING THE WORD 4G TECHNOLOGY. WHERE THEY ARE LEAST BOTHERED OF THE BASICS.
                                      can everybody please get together to make complaint about tikona's very very poor service and false commitments...

                                      I have been just tired due to their incapability of handling customer's queries. what should i do if i didn't get the service which I wanted. Is there any branch who can resolve such issues.
                                      I also had the same problem. In my case a whole Group Housing Society seems to have been taken for a ride by Tikona, which promised us that there would be no installation and modem charges. When I got the bill, the installation charges were included. There was also no sign of a payment of Rs 500 I made through cheque that was to be adjusted in two instalments in the initial bills. I am still in correspondence with Tikona about this breach of trust. How people take you for a ride!

                                      My name is Madhavi Kulkarni from Pune and my user I d is [protected]. I have taken Tikona CB 299 plan on 14/6/2010 by paying 500/- installation charges. It any how worked for 2 days at very slow speed. Thereafter it has not been working and lon-in page is not displayed and shows "internet explore cannot display web-page". Since 19 th June 2010 I have been making complaints to the customer care of Tikona over their Toll free number and I talked to customer care officers viz pooja, Dilip Archin etc and every time they assured that my complaint was forwarded and their engineer would arrive at residence and problem would be resolved shortly. However neither their Engineer has arrived nor the problem is solved. If my problem is not solved immediately I will be constrained to approach consumer forum against Tikona for refund of money and also for damages for the harassment caused to me.
                                      tikona is the worst company to deal with . i have taken 799 plan and the speed that is being given to me is only 159-277 kbps and i have taken the plan for 600kbps .i complained but nobody listens.i have taken connection 7 days ago from today and i'm disconnecting it now .i want to say to everyone that never that it's connection . they only you and your money there service is worst then mtnl's one . i'm sure that if anyone will take it's it will disconnect from it within 10 days.

                                      My name is Harshdeep Sharma, I had a broadband service of tikona with a Billing Account Number:[protected],the sevices of tikona broadband never worked in day time,and i have made a complaint with the tech support dept several times,but got no resolution,i had a 600 kbps plan of which was about Rs 881.30 a month,after promising a speed of 600 kbps i use to get a download speed of 1-2 kbps at the day time,and at night after 1 use to work with a speed of arout 450-500 kbps,which was acceptable.So we use to download at night.
                                      So now if i am using a service,i should get the a constant service thoughout the day,but as i explained above that was not the case with tikona,and was never resolved after writing in to them and after complaining several times,so when the pathetic services reached the peak i decided to cancel the broadband services,and they closed the services after 2 months of my request of the termination of the account,now they are sending me a bill for about Rs. 2800. why should i pay for the services that i have never used?
                                      I told them to settle this for about Rs 1000 or 1200,infact of just using the services just in the non peak hours,which was only used for downloading stuff.Now the executives of tikona broadband has started harassing me for the bill payment,stating that they will make a complain against me in a passport office and some job forums,and they almost abusing in order to get the bill payed.
                                      I am working with IBM and i think Rs 2800 is not a big deal for me,but if i havent used the services and they continued the services after the termination request and thirdly i am using a postpaid services,which should be disconnected after a non payment of one months bill.
                                      So kindly give a resolution for this and i cant take any harassment,from people at tikona.

                                      I got this connection in May & since then not even a single day it has worked properly. I have raised complaints on numerous occasions & no one has even visited my place. I was a fool that I opted for Tikona & replaced my Airtel connection without any reason.

                                      Following are the Ticket numbers on which nothing has been done as yet & I have been promised that it will be resolved within 12 hours :-

Think hundred times before taking this service because you will scratch your hairs out after using it. Customer service always tell you the same old stories that concern department will take care of the problem but I am afraid weather the so called concern department exist or not. At the end of the day you will come to the same point where you started. Tikona is a basket of problems so what I suggest is, go for some professional and best company that are in the market. they charge you more but the service will be good according to the plan they promise you.                                       Without getting broadband connection account debited for Rs.800 vide cheque no.237156 dated 5/07/2010 .Inspite of various calls not received refund of Rs.800.
                                      Further how can you debit our account without giving us broadband connection.
                                      Hence remit our amount of Rs.800 immediately.

                                      I too got this connection 2 months back...This the worst ever internet service provider i have ever seen.Day time when i try to connect it never connects..When the sales guys from tikona came to my place and gave me a demo it was very good.The very next day the problem started.Whenever i call customer care, they just give me some complaint number.Sometimes thay call and tell me that they will come to my place, but never turn up.But after two days when i call, the customer care people tell that the problem was already resolved.Whenever i try to log in to my account it gives an error message.Then i thought of paying the money through cheque to the collection executives from tikona.I paid the bill but even after two months the bill is not updated in Tikona's database.But my bank account statement clearly shows the amount deducted in the name of tikona digital networks.I complained about the problem to the customer care.But no action was taken.After this i directly spoke to tikona customer care supervisor one Mr.Karthi.He promised me that the problem will be resolved ASAP.After that whenever i call customercare Mr.Karthi is alway on leave...What a fun..If any one is going for a new internet connection, pls dont opt for TIKONA...You will be trapped by this FRAUD service provider.As the saying goes-SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING.BUT In tikona's case i would say ----PLEASE DONT GO FOR THIS (TIKONA) NOTHING.

                                      Same Type of experience i faced.After so many complaint given by phone also no use. They said the problem will be solved soon. Finally i sent the following complaint to tikono through email

                                      (I have sent this mail because our internet is too slow today morning. We are not able to open any sites.)

                                      Before few months we took tikona internet connection (Nano). First one month it was working fine. I recommended it to many people. (This was the Great mistake in my life i think)

                                      But after that we got some issues continuously. Many times internet is disconnected for 2 or 3 days. Many times it is too slow.We gave lots of complaints. If you see our history in your database you can understand.

                                      Before two week we had an urgent work. But the internet was not working. I gave complaint and told it is emergency. They said it will be fixed soon. But no use. On the same day i made 4 calls to your customer care number. For three days the internet was not working.

                                      Last week on Friday night onwards we got the same issue. Same Response "We will fix it within 6 hrs. You will get an sms". (But This SMS will not help me. One more thing i didn't get any sms)

                                      Apart from this we have given complaints many times. "We are getting disconnected every time. Its too slow" (You don't have power to listen our speech. At least read it and understand - i[censored] know to read english )

                                      You people are repeating the same dialog every time.
                                      "Sorry for inconvenience." (This sorry will not connect internet.)
                                      "Check your internet options" (Please teach them some other debugging methods. It bores to me!!)
                                      "Within 6 hours your problem will be solved" (Please check your watch. Battery is there or not)
                                      "Our Engg will come and resolve" (Have u recruited any people like that? . R u paying them correctly..? ..If yes..Have you given our correct address?)
                                      "Please Keep your nano station switched ON. We will do online debugging" (Its always switched ON.But what use is there..?)

                                      Apart from this, Best comedy of the year 2010 "We will send you an SMS" --> "DO U PAY YOUR PHONE BILL. I THINK NO. I HAVEN'T GOT ANY SMS"

                                      I know this is not the first complaint against TIKONA and I even can bet on the fact that any one would agree that Tikona Digital Networks - deserves the award of " WORST SERVICE PROVIDERS"

                                      Reason - Do you think I should give.... still yes - I am adding few points here

                                      1. Very slow...sorry ... Slowest Speed... Can you believe how much time It took for logging in to gmail account? Any Guess?

                                      At least 15 minutes that too in html mode... otherwise half an hour or so is normal ...

                                      2. Don't ask me for downloading or so... It was the worst

                                      3. Every now and then... You can not rely on Internet connection - it is not guaranteed that you will get the connection ... if you are lucky enough then you can think of connecting to the internet . otherwise can enjoy increasing your blood pressure

                                      4. Customer Care... They are good at giving you new complaints every day, But don't know if they care - if those complaints are getting addressed or not

                                      5. Technical Support - So called EXECUTIVES ( any undergraduate or recently passed graduate - done some hardware course with half knowledge) person will visit your place and you will have to guide the fellow - how to ping the server or how to check the IP Address and alll ... None of the executives successfully installed Antivirus provided by Tikona or Dialer which is provided with them.
                                      Every time you should expect different person visiting your place for resolving complaint - reason - the earlier fellow must have left the DIRTY JOB

                                      6. Even if you disconnect - you will not be blessed by TIKONA - they will still go on troubling you by sending bills which you are not making use of.

                                      Since last 12 days internet is not getting started and facing lots for problem related to connectivity issue I called various times to customer care but no response. My account ID is [protected], requesting kindly lookinto this on urgent basis and provide proper solution.

                                      Pls find Service issue: -
                                      1) No Network connection (Require Lan crimping).
                                      2) Requested for Nano getway.
                                      3) Requested for Antivirus.
                                      4) Require proper connectivity.
                                      5) Requested for waiver.

                                      Nodal Officer Escalation Docket Number :[protected] & from[protected] i have raised 3 request (docket number[protected] /[protected] but no one turn up for resolving the issue.

                                      Please take it very seriously otherwise disconnect and arrange to take back all connection accessories and arrange to refund the money.

                                      Hi, my friend got the tikona with 599 plan, which says unlimited usage, later understandable is the service charges, but there are more to kill us, it also says RECURRING CHARGES which does not show where the money goes, (loooooooooooot )

                                      then he got it connected on 9th of august, he is billed from 8th august and also till 14th august , it is only 6days , he has to pay 704, which is ridiculous, and when asked the billing lady did not know how to speak English also...... pathetic

                                      I am an student.
                                      i installed tikona services on 26/7/10. my user id is [protected]. i paid the installation charges to an tikona registered agent ( mr raja. mob num [protected]. ). the connection was working properly for a few days but it suddenly stopped after 10 days.. when i called the customer support they told me that the amount was not paid. they promised to reactivate the services after 48 hrs. but it didnt happen even after 10 days.
                                      this bloody connection FUL 599 i had got, is down with fever since past 2 weeks. Nobody from TIKONA is bothered to attend to this problem.

                                        Speed I get it is 6kbps to 130kbps ranges with time. I have continues calling to customer care service all the technical and managers in the customer care says give us 48hours, Sir i had taken tikona service on 11th of 2009 December ensuring that your service will be good but your company Tikona is worst and fooling customer belief. All the customer care says switch off your modem for 5 min and then release ip and renew ip and then our technical person would come to your home with in 48 hours.But Sir no one came for last 6 days for the first 3 days speed i got is 319kbps then after the speed gradually decreased.I have checked my speed in tikona speed where it show 287kbps when i check in outer site network like 2wire.com my actual speed is 4 to 130 kbps ranges

                                        Tikona Wi Bro — Fraud Company - false commitments

                                        I am very much dissatisfied with the POOR quality of Internet provided by Tikona Wi-Bro. Here, not only the quality of network is under question but I am more disappointed by the lack of focus on quality of customer service and customer satisfaction.

                                        I had a telephonic discussion with VEER GARG (Nodal Manager) on 25th Feb 2010, where I described the complete situation and the problem I was facing for last one week regarding the installation of Wi-Bro. There he committed to me that the problem will be resolved with in next 48 hours. But the installation took place on 3rd March 2010 (after multiple follow-ups with various people at all levels), which is not with-in 48 hours by any means.

                                        On 5th March 2010, I approached him again and this time because of the quality of network connectivity. Here, before approaching him I also called various other persons from Tikona, who left their mobile numbers during earlier telephonic conversations, sales meet, installations; but as usual all in vein. Here, he arranged a conference call with my area manager (do not remember the name), and committed that the problem will be resolved in next 1 hour. Again no results.

                                        On 6th March 2010, I finally called Tikona customer care at[protected] and explained them the complete situation. They committed a service executive visit to my place over the weekend so that I may re-explain the problem and post resolution can confirm that the problem has been resolved. The weekend is over and no body visited my place to look at the problem. The complaint number is[protected].

                                        Now, the situation is really out of control. My earlier internet connection got expired on 22nd Feb 2010 and I was suggested by VEER GARG that I do not need to renew the same as the problem will get resolved with-in 48 hours. Lot of time has already been killed and the problem still persists.

                                        On 8th March, I mailed the complete details to 'nodal.[protected]@tikona.in'; 'nagesh.[protected]@tikona.in'; '[protected]@tikona.in'; but again, no response from anyone. Finally, today i sent them another reminder to respond to my mail. Till now i have not received any response.

                                        In the end, I would also like to highlight the sales strategy used by Tikona in our society. Those who do not know, please note that there are more than 600 flats in our society. The sales team approached our society earlier last month with a plan that if 25 customers get enrolled to Tikona WiBro, company will provide everyone cash back of Rs. 500/- paid towards the one time security. I asked them that I will only take the connection if this amount is waived-off. Then after couple of days they confirmed to me that they have already got 27 customers so I need not to worry. Later, during my discussion with VEER GARG, he denied any such campaign by the company and also confirmed that there are only 11 customers.

                                        One thing I missed to mention above is that when the demo was given the internet connection worked very fine, but that was the only time it worked fine.

                                        This company does not care about customers time and money. All are requested not to use their connection, as they may fraud with you as well.

                                        I also request them to provide me the correct escalations contact so that I may bring the situation under their notice. Along with that i asked below mentioned question:

                                        Why should I stay with Tikona Wi-Bro?
                                        Why I should not be refunded Rs. 500/- paid towards installation?
                                        Why Tikona should not be banned in Gulmohar Enclave?
                                        Is there any department in your organization, looking at the customer complaints and working on the prompt resolution of the same?
                                        How would you compensate the problems faced by me so far?
                                        If there any solution to the current problem and what is exact TAT?
                                        Why false campaigns are used by the sales team, if they can not keep their words?
                                        What is the best way to log a complaint, till now I have tried all known methods?

                                        I have not received any response till now, and now i do not expect to get one.

                                        Tikona FOOL 599 plan — Very low speed & poor service

                                        I had taken Tikona FUL599 PLan (Fool 599) and is really fooled as they claim of speed 300kbps ,but you get a speed of 150kbps and as per then its a good speed of that plan.

                                        And their service is very very bad no reply.

                                        TIKONA WI BRO — Cheaters & False commitment

                                        I am Rajendra Mane, I registered for new internet connection on 14th March 2010 with Tikona executive. I have paid Rs. 500/- for installation changes in advance.In 8 days it got disconnected ,i called customer care they said that u have raised the request for disconnection,the manager also committed that check & see the spped but what the hell i didn't work for a week also Till now I didn’t get a new connection or my amount back. I have called them several times and spoke regarding my new connection but in vain.

                                        I have all my proof documents and INSTALLATION charges Rs. 500/-.

                                        Please find the details below with whom I have interacted regarding new connection.

                                        I M SUING TIKONA WI BRO FROM MARCH 29 2010. FROM THE DAY ONE
                                        SIGNAL FROM NANO MODEM IS VERY WEAK. I MADE LOT OF COMPLAINTS TO CUSOMER CARE, BUT NO TECH. PERSONS COME TO MY OFFICE AND RECTIFY THE PROBLEM. SO I AM GOING TO THRO AWAY TIKONA BULL OR I M GOING TO MAKE A SUIT ON THEM
                                        I agree with him. I made a complaint and was told will take 48 hrs to rectify the problem. The speed oscillates from 170kbps to 260kbps for 300kbps. waste of money.
                                        I wish I've read this before. I just got mine yesterday and I've taken the 600kps plan with Unlimited downloading and uploading. The Speed I get since yesterday is not more than 6kbps and it keep getting disconnected too.

                                        I also came to know from the engineer that the "Wireless Receiver is not free". They are charging Rs 75 a month for it. The IDIOTIC sales executives didn't even have the decency to inform customer regarding this.

                                        People don't make the same mistakes like me. TIKONA DIGITAL NETWORK IS JUST A WASTE OF MONEY!!!

                                        TIKONA WIBRO — Disgusting Service

                                        After being convienced by one of TICKONA sales man ,i took tickona broadband connection.But from the very next day i was facing problem.Once it is network problem,once very poor speed.I have choosed unlimited plan-799 (600 kbps),but rarely i got near around 50-60 kbps downloading speed.

                                        After all this hell ,frequently i called those people(customer care) to resolve the matter.Every day i called twice or thrice & everytime they are telling it will be OK by 24 hrs.It took 10 whole day,then also i dint get any call from their side.Finally at the 11 th day i called,and i told them to disconnect the connection.The 11 th day was 25 th may of this year.Now it is 26 th june,till now i dint get any confirmation regarding that.Along with TICKONA (36 day) frankly speaking i used 2-3 days only without any problem.

                                        Now i am not getting what to do,as i am totally bored by calling those customer care guys.Even i dint get any confirmation mail after my subscription And I dint recieve any BILL too for this period.


                                        So its my duty to inform all the people about TICKONA WI BRO.Please dnt take.

                                        i had made so many calls for disconnection to tikona because of their wrost service. but they r just saying will disconnect it but sending monthly bills n making call for bill payment.
                                        totally agree ... horrible company ... i dont know how they are doing business ... right from salesman to customer care officer to installation executives every one lies and gives false commitments ... they have installed a lan connection after promising wifi service and when asked, say they need extra payment for wi-fi !!! this apart from various other bad practices ... this is the worst company in its segment !!! stay away please ...

                                        3 months ago I disconnected my tikona conection. still today I have been billed.

                                        tickona is the one of the best froud company ... i am bala from chennai, they are not installed to me but withdrawn amount from my bank account, they also send me monthly bill on or before billing date. i got two bill without installation...

                                        I am Unsatisfied with Tikona service. My problem is speed had adopted 599/- plan with Unlimited downloading and uploading.
                                        Speed I get it is 6kbps to 130kbps ranges with time. I have continues calling to customer care service all the technical and managers in the customer care says give us 48hours, Sir i had taken tikona service on 23th of 2010 agust ensuring that your service will be good but your company Tikona is worst and fooling customer belief. All the customer care says switch off your modem for 5 min and then release ip and renew ip and then our technical person would come to your home with in 48 hours.But Sir no one came for last 6 days for the first 3 days speed i got is 319kbps then after the speed gradually decreased.I have checked my speed in tikona speed where it show 287kbps when i check in outer site network like 2wire.com my actual speed is 4 to 130 kbps ranges

                                        TIKONA WIBRO SERVICE — Bill after disconnection

                                        I call to Tikona for disconnecting my service (request no.[protected] on 11/07/2010 due to his very poor service, And also, I clear Tikonas all bills. But Tikona is send me bill for 26-07-10 to[protected]. Please any one from consumer cour will take the action on Tikona.

                                        Tikona Wi Bro — Keep on getting bills after disconnection

                                        I had taken a Tikona Wireless connection in February 2010 end. It never could connect in a "broadband speed" range and always the Tikona service reps would say it will improve soon. I finally disconnected it in April 2010 but the horrible part is that they keep on sending bills for this. They have collected their wireless modem and other stuff long time back, so there is no way that I can avail of the services. Yet they persist in sending me bills-what's more the bills are accompanied by SMS warnings and threats to pay up or else! Despite repeated complaints to their customer helpdesks and numerous emails to their office, nothing has changed. I am now wondering how to get rid of this problem.
                                        I'm very very unsatisfied with the speed that Tikona is providing, it really sucks its rather wasting time and money with the service. I'm using 799/- plan from the past couple of months, with this speed transfer rate should be 80-90Kbps, but range is 15-60 kbps... With that 799/- there are many service providers who can offer higher speed. Service is really horrible... I'm gonna change this service from next month, I'm so sorry to say this...

                                        We have give complaint no.1-[protected] Dated-25/12/10 to(Tikona vibro internet) Tikonacare for internet not working and there customer care person Miss Sona Telling us "we will clear it within 6 hour than we have perperly call to tikonacare for the same but till date our problem not solve.

                                        Tikona — Slow speed and bad service

                                        hello my name is S.k. Sharma , i have subscribed for this new net service provider call tikona in & my Uid is [protected]. tikona company has shown me a very good demo of high speed internet at my Office. so i have purchased it & In Begining it Worked v.good, but later on it getting down to down in speed, I have been suffering a lot & every time i complaint them they just give me complaint no. & that's it none of there engg. has yet arrived & nor anyone has solved my problem . hope i might get justice over here .

                                        Same with me... Craps instead of improving say there are other service providers go to them.. This is the attitude of their marketting executive. They even hid the contention ration clause while marketting their plans the show for some plans but not for unlimited plans... Seriously action must be taken agains tikona if you charge for unlimited plan and 600 kbps then speed should be 600 and you cannot change the speed whenever you decide. I am going to remove tikona next month.. Cheats. Bunch of liars.

                                        Hello, I am sunil shetty and m using tikona broadband since from last 3 months. Almost only for the first month I got good speed and then it was very slow speed and device issue started which is yet not cleared properly.
                                        And most important thing is that I am getting download speed of 94kbps and 27kbps via speestest.tikona.in
                                        This is really bad and needed to be solved very soon. And hope will be resolved sooner..
                                        Seriously ! Tikona Sucks, I'm Gonna Switch to others, but never tikona :( ! When i had a new connection they gave me ~300 Kbps Downloading, Not it Comes either 250 or 0 Kbps ...most of the times its 0 . and No internet Access, Tikona have cheated with Hopes !

                                        Tikona Secured Wireless Broadband Service — Regarding Bill

                                        Internet connection problem, no technician visited.

                                        The company customer care only promise to visit, the company gives the same contact info of technician who doesn't answer call. This going on for days.
