The cancellation request (1-[protected] ) was raised on 28th April 2017 . Till now there haven't been any communication from TIKONA pertaining to the request.
Just now got a call from help desk saying the account is under observation.
When I have said that I am not going to use the service on what ground the account is kept active?
I have told 100 times that am not going to use tikona then why am I forced into something . Why is the cancellation not happening ?

    Tikona [protected] broadband id. This tikona broadband id was a prepaid id at the time of taking connection but changed to postpaid by tikona itself. Later when we asked them telephonically to disconnect their connection in first three months period they are not even disconnect the connection and keep billing telling this is a postpaid connection and unable to provide bills and they threatened my wife and managed to make her pay 2300 and not receiving mails from my registered mail id and other mail ids are not attended

      Dear tikona broad band,

      I am k.Vijay Kumar of hyderabad, I have used your internet service([protected]) between 2012 and 2016, and paid all my bills along with 1500 rs initial payment to words advance payments.

      After 4 years of loyalty and usage in spite of various connection and speed issues we are cooperating with your company.

      We have asked your service person Mr.narasimha to disconnect the connection as we are shifting to new home.

      We asked him to adjust our advance and closed the account, because he came several times to our home on behalf your company. We also spoke to your call centre people and asked them to disconnect the internet as we are not using and shifting the home.

      After all 4 years of loyalty and making 1500 rs advance and making 32000 rs above payments your company wants to recover 1400 rs on the name bills and threatening with layers and legal cases.

      This is very very unfair, you should retain loyal consumers and sending legal notices and harassment is not the solution.

        Customer care keeps calling from[protected] and drops the call when I say hello. Tikona is the worst I have seen in my life. I have discontinued them as they were not upto the mark and now they are calling me to renew the subscription forcibly. They keep telling me that they will provide technical support which they never provided when I had spoken to them on phone. They just keep giving numbers and I do not understand why they cannot keep track of the number of times we have called them.
        I asked them to discontinue the services when they asked me to renew the connection for another 6 months on 2nd of May. I had told them I do not intend to continue any further after my present term ends.

          My user id is [protected]. I got a call from [protected] dated : 23/05/2017, saying that he is the government layer of high court to register a case against me asking to pay around rupees 1300/- or they will register a case against me and threatening me to pay 1300/- rs of bill. I have recording.
          I am not using tikona broadband from the month of april 2016. I have disconnected tikona for more than one year for their poor broadband service more than 50 complain i have launched but no proper response from their team. Now they are asking me to pay 1300/- after one year. When the executive called me to return the instrument i told him to come and collect. He saw my pet dog and ran away. I told wait i am coming down then to he ran away.
          I used to call tikona many times and used to say to please disconnect my connection permanently but till one month they have not disconnected my connection so not my fault.
          And they have raised the bill of 200 rupees without any use.
          This person from tikona is threatening me to pay their desire amount which is 6.5 time of my bill (Which i have not used their service). This is ridiculous thing from tikona. I don’t want any call from tikona.
          Tikona can come and collect their instrument and 200 rs which was the actual bill according to tikona.

            Hello Team,

            I was using the Tikona services in my old house and they are running fine.
            When I shifted to new house, its not working in my new house.
            So I raised minimum 15 complaints so many engineers came but its not working.
            So I told them to stop services by many times but they assure me it will work and they will stop my billing till it will not work properly.
            I waited for 2 months and finally dropped the mail to them to stop the services.
            But still these people are not ready to stop my Connection.
            They generated the bill of 1818 for 2 months.

            And finally I talk to the Customer care executive that I hadn't used your services since last two and both agreed to pay Rs.1500 as full and final settlement.

            But again one more mail came to pay Rs. 657 as final settlement and pay 1500 for the modem if not returned.
            The engineer already collected the modem from my home.

            Now today I got a call from one advocate that Pay the amount +1000 as legal charges.

            Please suggest.

            I had used the services till Jan -17 and paid the full & final payment of Rs.1500/-.
            After that your executive assuring me that no bill will generate after this.

            And for the month of Feb my data usage is 0.
            Then why you generated the bill for Feb-17.

            1st you wont provide service and after that generate the fake bills.

            You wont get direct customers so you will take money like this.

            And your lawyer is threatening me of taking the case to court.

            Look if your harassment continues, I will file a complain against you people.

            Then why you hadn't stopped till march and generating the bills.

            1st keep the coordination between your people,
            Your executive is assuring me to pay the amount and my service will get stop then why it is started till March.

            Its the fault of yours not mine.

            So I am not liable to pay any amount.

              I am receiving threatening calls from Tikona. Someone with name Rajiv Sharma calling from phone number [protected] stating himself as lawyer in Delhi High Court. He is asking me to pay the due withing 30 minutes otherwise Court proceedings will start and warrant will be issued against you. Further to that local police will be intimated and they will take further action.
              I have recorded all the calls for future use.

              I have already made lot of complaints & registered complaint with their Appellate Authority for non service. But they never improved their service. Hence, so much mental torture due to calling and explaining customer care I finally discontinued services in June-2016.

              At that time my advance bill was pending for 1345/- I have already returned their modem and have the acknowledgment receipt for same.
              Until now I'm getting bills and collection emails from Tikona.

              If Tikona continues to give me trouble then I'm planning to file a law suite against them and will demand compensation for the harassment.

                Hi, i was a user of tikona but due to very poor service i changed the provider in the first month itself though i have already paid 1400 something for connection which includes 3 month rental as i have been told.

                After that i forgot the login credentials but they are asking for payment even i have not used the service. They are giving me threatening calls.

                  Hi, this is siva, i was using tikona broadband services till dec 2016 and i have cleared all my last due payment in full and final settlement. Now i after 6 months i am getting a call from an advocate saying that so and some amount is still pending and asking what you want to do next? To clear payment or to fight in a legal way, since then i tried so many times to reach tikona customer care on the toll free and rest of the other numbers too, but unable to reach them..

                    I am submitting this complaint as my patience level is crossed limits.

                    On mid may 2016 i called tikona customer care and asked to disconnect my services as i was moving to some other place. I spoke to one of their customer care manager and they confirmed that they will disconnect and the next bill won't be generated. But after that i didn't receive any further communication from Tikona on this request.
                    On 20th May 2016 i called them many times and they didn't respond me. I emailed them at [protected]@tikona.in and asked for discontinuation of services immediately. i clearly mentioned them i have paid all the bills till 26th May 2016 and want to disconnect services immediately. i received an acknowledge mail (online complaint no. 1-[protected] and 1-[protected] )also from Tikona but they didn't take any action on that and continue to generate the bills. Next month June 2016 i again sent them a reminder mail but again they didn't take any action.
                    I have stopped using Tikona since 21st May 2016 and Now after one year they are calling me continuously and threatening me of legal actions to be taken.
                    Please let Tikona answer my question below

                    1. Why should I pay the bills for non-services?

                    2. Why Tikona’s advocate threatening me daily and forcing me to pay the bill?

                      This is Joy from Pune. I had subscribed to Tikona BB on 24th Aug 2016 for "BBM4M750" plan of monthly rental INR 750(excl 15% ST). On 29 Jan 2017 changed my plan from "BBM4M750" to "ADULM3M750" without any hassle/extra charge as both the plans are of equal monthly rental of INR 750(excl 15% ST).

                      Over these 9 months o[censored]sage, there hasn't been a billing cycle that was disruption free. The major disruption began on 30th April 2017 when all of a sudden the Tikona Adapter stopped receiving signal from the roof top panel fixed in the terrace of my building/housing society. I also tried using my TP Link router which displayed "WAN Port is Unplugged" on my router home page.

                      Spoke to TP Link CC & they confirmed that it is not the fault of their router which I am using(please note this router is still under warranty & TP link is happy to replace it in the event of any fault with their router). The error "WAN Port is Unplugged" signifies that the router is not receiving internet traffic from the ISP.

                      Post this, I spoke to Tikona multiple times on 30th April 2017 & was told a Technician would visit the site the next day corresponding a ticket # 1-[protected]. 15 to 20 mints post call with CC, received a SMS stating that the issue "1-[protected]" is fixed which wasn't the case. Internet connection was restored the next day i.e. 1st May 2017 almost after 24 hrs. That too without anyone intimating me about the restoration. It was me who had been trying to connect all through the day & all of a sudden by the evening I realised the connectivity has been restored. Ever since this instance, disruption became intermittent & continuous but the service was getting restored automatically without any specific time frame so did not take the pain in calling CC as Tikona does not have a toll free number. Everytime a customer calls Tikona, the customer is liable to pay for their pathetic service.

                      Evening around 4.00pm of 5th May 2017, internet was disrupted with no service for the rest of the day. I did not call CC thinking it wud get restored automatically just like the previous days experience of May 2017. The following day, 6th May 2017 called up CC @ around 6.30am & raised another ticket 1-[protected]. At 8.30am rcvd a SMS stating issue has been fixed inspite of no connectivity. At 9.15am again rcvd another SMS stating Technician are working on my issue. Post this SMS Technicians called me thrice @ 9.26am, 10.09am & 10.42am. Unfortunately I was away shopping & I had left my phone at home so on my return I called CC @ 3.03pm & again @ 5.51pm explaining the issue over & over again at additional burden of mobile airtime. This time they committed to send a field tech to my residence the next day being Sunday(7th May 2017). So since 5th May 2017 evening I had no connectivity.

                      Worst & more frustrating is that the technicians would force the customer to follow their troubleshooting steps on the call at customers expense even when the customer is stating that the steps that he/she is going to repeat, is already being executed before calling the CC. These CC techs won't simply listen or believe even the customers can perform the same troubleshooting steps on their own.

                      On 7th May 2017, the field rep did visit my residence on time, @ 10.00am & restored connectivity stating that there was a fault in their terminal box fixed at the roof top. Again by 10.00pm the network was gone with the same error "WAN Port is Unplugged". So without waiting I called CC @ 10.05pm on 7th May 2017 & spent 12mints explaining the situation. The CC rep put the call on hold to check something at his end & during this time the connectivity was restored & the same was communicated to the CC rep.

                      On 8th May 2017 early morning @ 6.00am had to call the CC as the same issue resurfaced. The rep said he is adding a note to the previous ticket which was closed on 7th May & forwarding it to the tech team for resolution. At around 9.12am called the field tech who had visited my residence & was denied of any assistance from his end. So called the CC @ 9.34am & again spent 16 mints trying to explain the matter. This time got to hear a completely distorted history of my previous issue. The CC rep said that the issue which was reported on 6th May was with the internet speed & the field technician has resolved the same yesterday morning i.e. 7th May. This is what the field tech had mentioned when closing the ticket as per the statement of CC rep. This information given by the CC rep made me very furious simply because as a customer how would I know what notes/comments are being added by the technicians before closing the ticket. Is this not an IMBECILIC act of a CC rep? These unwarranted & irrelevant information & same old troubleshooting steps again by this CC rep just blew my fuse off. The rep said she would be escalating the matter to the senior tech & would hear from them in next 4hrs. This time frame of call back to the customers are made by these CC reps almost on every call which hardly materialized except the three calls which I had missed as I was outside without my mobile.

                      This intermittent connection restoration & disruption continued. As a result of this @ around 7.24pm on 8th May 2017 called the CC & had to literally force them to register a Disconnection requesst vide ticket # 1-[protected] which was confirmed by Aakshay from Tikona Tech team after spending 19 mints on the call. Aakshay also confirmed that in case I do not use internet after 14th May 2017, I will not be billed. I would have provided the audio clipping had there been an option to upload the same here.

                      Post the call I also sent an official confirmation on mail @ 8.37pm from my registered mail ID to Tikona CC mail ID with the ticket number 1-[protected] & also the detail that Aakshay had confirmed regarding no usage-no bill.

                      Ever since 8th May 2017, Tikona reps have been calling & pestering me for n number of reasons & giving false promises of giving 7 days of free internet usage / which ISP are you going to subscribe / sending a field technician again to my residence for another trouble shooting / also repeating what Aakshay had confirmed about no usage-no bill. But none had confirmed if the connection has been disconnected or not.

                      Customers are paying monthly rental to the ISP & also contributing additional 15% of ST on the rental to the GOVT for the sake of nation building but customers are harassed & get no value for money.

                      I am attaching the screenshots of SMS's of Ticket ID's along with the dates & time & also subsequent SMS's sent by Tikona. The screenshots have been taken from my phone & where ever irrelivent data was captured, they have been erased by me.

                      I hope the above mentioned information would enable to highlight the malpractices & harassment that Tikona caters to its customers when they decide to part ways to get rid of their pathetic service. Please do let me know if further evidences are needed in this regard.

                        We had already paid for Tikona internet service up to Dec 26, 2016 via transaction id [protected]PAYU[protected] dt. Oct 03, 2016.

                        We had problems with Tikona internet service during December and were unable to use the same throughout the month of December. Tikona was not able to resolve the issue and we therefore asked for cancellation of services. We didn't receive any refund for not being able to use Tikona internet service in December.

                        Instead, Tikona continued to bill us even after cancellation of services stating that we should have sent the request for cancellation of services by email to [protected]@tikona.in. No such condition was stated at time of subscribing to the service.

                        We have not used Tikona service since Dec 2016.

                          I just wanted to inform how fraudulent this company is. I paid them Rs.2000/- as advance rental for three months including installation charges but couldn't use the service for even one day as the connection was very unstable. I sent multiple mails and ultimately asked them to disconnect the service as I am not getting any service. Despite this the company kept billing me after adjusting all the advance kept sending me bills after bills knowing fully well that the service is not working. I have enough evidences to show to nail their lies and unprofessional behaviour. Now, there representatives are calling me in the guise of lawyers from Tees Hazari court, Delhi and threatening to have me arrested and send legal notices which will require me to appear in person in Delhi, Tees Hazari court. They are also telling me that I will have to pay a fine of Rs.50000/- to avoid these legal actions. I have noted down the names of phone numbers of such crooks who are calling me and also informed the company but they are ignoring all my request to stop such harrassment and mental agony to me. They have also removed the model that they had installed at my place without my permission and knowledge and have not refunded the advance of Rs.2000/- that was paid to them for which no service has been provided to me except continuous harrassment. Through this forum I want to highlight such unethical practice of this company, so that all others who are planning to avail of the services of this company would know what they are upto.

                              Hello tikona users,
                              I purchase tikona connection 4 months in which they process something at the time of connection after they give lots of hidden charges. During the four months i faced almost daily issue disconnection my plan was 30 gb for month but due of bad internet connection. I am not able to use aleast 1 hr properly. That time i just consume 5 gb in month rest of waste. I call number of time give mail to them to stop the services in the same month they billed 2 month amount and they file complain against me to take money. Worst internet service they are real thief which take money u just ask for connection then they start take money. They know everything that how to take money inside your pocket. Please beware. I am kumud singh just infor you.

                                Hello my name is nitish sharma. tikona id - [protected]... i have been the regular customer of tikona internet connection from past 2 years. but due to poor service and ignorance from the company i decided to disconnect the internet connection. my due date happens on 23 of every month and i send the mail to the company on 22 that i want to disconnect it and i will be not liable to pay any bill amount as i has already paid the bill in advance and i switched off the router and roof device from 22 april. but from that day they have been calling me to pay the bill of rs 450 and not to disconnect the service. i already told them that i already had paid the bill in advance. but they are forcing me to pay the bill as i am not liable to pay you even a single penny and they harassed me. now you tell me what should i do? shall i go to consumer court or what?

                                  I raised a complaint several times regarding inconsistent broadband internet connection at my home for user id [protected].
                                  In spite of the issue getting resolved by the customer care, the issue resumes in few hours. Its been a month now, i am fed up putting a complaint every time. The plan i took is for 70 gb monthly, but browsing itself is difficult.

                                      We are not using the Tikona Broadband from Dec'16 yet every month I am receiving a bill for usage, I have complaint at Tikona customer care to terminate my account several times now however there is no progress. We have disconnected the router our self yet they say usage is being done, we also called a tikona engineer, he removed the device that was installed on the roof of the apartment and said its closed, but still I am being charged.

                                      I am a 62+ years old and these people are harassing me by charging every month for payment irrespective of me using the services. There is another complaint that we made when my last bill is generated on 28th April'17 to terminate the account, its 18th May today and there is no update. My daughter is calling them on daily basis but they are not terminating the account. The latest complaint number is 1-[protected]. Its 20 days since my last bill was generated for Rs. 635 which has increased to Rs. 1265 as of today and account is still not terminated.

                                      When they call me for payment I told them that I want my account to be fully closed but it is not happening.
