I had deposited a cheque in Axis Bank Whitefield branch towards my home loan part payment. The cheque was not cleared even after 40 days (I deposited the cheque on 17/03/2012 and it was not cleared until 27/04/2012) forcing me to issue a stop cheque request.

I visited the branch and they informed me that they had sent the cheque to the loans department. I called up the loans department fie times and everytime all they told me was that they would be getting back with the details.I did not get even a single call. I also mailed them multiple times and there was no response whatsoever.

This is the second consecutive time such a long delay is happening. Last time I dropped a cheque, it was cleared after 1 month. This time they did not clear it even after 40 days and I have issued a stop cheque request.

I think this is a deliberate ploy by the loans department to discourage part payment and speedier closure of the loan.

    Hi,

    I am using axis bank credit card from last 3 years, My credit card
    limit is 20000 INR.
    The bill for the March month was 1260, and I pay Rs. 1300. After that
    I did'nt made any shopping. But again this month bill is Rs. 20312. As
    per my knowledge From 1300 I deposited on 3rd April the amount of Rs.
    500 should be credited into my account and 750 app. should be charged
    as interest. But the new statement for the 24th april is 20312, that
    is shocking for me.. According to me that should be of 19700. Please
    look into the issue as soon as possible...
    So that I can Use hassle free credit card service being provided by axis bank.
    This is the third time I am facing the problem.

      I am havig my salary account in axis bank,Noida sec-16.On 7th/April/2012 Saturday(8 p.m) i have used there internet bank service because i want immediate transfer of money to my friends account of 1100/-Rs .I got the message on my cell phone that 1100Rs+25rs service charge is deducted from my account and my friend also got the message of receiving on her cell phone.But when next day on Sunday she checked the balanced of her account money is not tranferes.Then on monday9/april/2012,i gave written intimation to the bank and Then Mrs.Anju Gupta(assistant manager) said me to mail also the same complaint to our email id(Anju.[protected]@axisbank.com).On the same day i have mailed them and they said your money will get transfer in2or 3working days.again after 5 days i have mailed them they said it is in process.But on20th April ,again i have sent my friend to bank to talk on same issue because i am in marketing field in West Delhi so i am not able to go so far at bank because it will sufffer to my job.on that day they harass my friend lot but they didnot give me proper answer.When in evening i seen my mail on that day they sent me mail that your complaint is lodged and given me this complaint number:[protected].
      Please i want Justice to recover my money.I got the loss of around2000 Rs .

        I am Binod Gupta holding an Axis Bank account no. [protected] with Lajpat Nagar branch.
        I am with the bank since last 3 years & I had open my account as a zero balance account.
        But, last month to be more presice 1268.45 {1150 (consolidated charges for AC) + 118.45(service charges) } had been deducted.
        Then I called your customer care & surprise to know that my account had been changed from zero balance to an other account type.
        They instructed me to talk to my branch & I had spoken to Ms. Nidhi on 5th March.
        Now I had a conversation with Ms. Jasmit & she told me to write the mail for amount reversal.

        But, I want to know that without any communication neither telephony nor electronically you how can you change my account type.
        Its totatlly disobeying your norms
        So, I am totally anoyed with your services & specially the communication part.
        In future I will think twice before taking any service from your bank .

          once i went to ATM to take out some money and found that there was some issue with taking out the money so i went to a different ATM and the same issue happened however i found that other people were able to take out the money so i thought that its my banks server which might be down so i came home firstly the message that comes after you debit the amount comes after one day or half an hour.To my utter surprise i came back home and found two message that my account was debited 2 times with 2000 rupees where i could not get any money out of it so i had to Waite for Monday as it was Saturday where the bank customer care do not work till Monday.On Monday i gave them a call and found out that they had issue and they promised me that they will pay me the money within 7 working days so i kept calm and Waited.at that time i had 4000 rupees left on my account and i took out 1000 rupees from it so i had 3000 rupees left after few days i saw 5000 rupees on my account which i could see only after checking my account as there was no message that the amount was credited i thought that only one transaction was credited and rest will be credited later and out of curiosity i gave a call to the axis ban customer care and they said that they have credited both the amount to my account usually account to my math if 4000 gets added to my account it should become 7000 and not 5000.its a clear fraud as its a hard earned money which should not go to vain please let me know what to do
          I am Disha Malhotra:I am holding a salary a/c in axis bank.On 27.9.10 I tried to withdraw Rs 20,000 from kotak bank atm of Jail road.but my transcation was denied.Then i withdrew Rs10,000.But my account showed two withdrawls totalling Rs20,000.I met the branch manager and given one application with proofs.On16.10.10 the money had deposited back. But again on 20.10.10 it was debted from my account.when i spoke to them they said that kotak has claimed that money has been taken from the atm,which was completely false.i requested them a lot to investigate the matter but all in vain.What is the way out??

              I have a sanction letter from Axis Bank for Rs 44,80,000, and till date the bank has disbursed Rs 42,80,000 all delayed by minimum 1 month.

              Now I have sent them a demand letter for the balance amount to cover registration, the bank claims that they have given me the full amount as per their "technical report" and cannot disburse any more money.

              They have at no time mentioned the amount that has been sanctioned as per their report, and also they have asked me if they can freeze the balance amount over and above the 80% of property value towards interiors which I have confirmed.

              What can be done regarding this issue?

                When I was opening account with AXIS the NRI division manager promised many things, eg. we will give better rates than other banks if above $ 5000 is deposited. My first salary was credited to my NRE account and to my surprise I found they are giving less exchange rate than SBI. My friend having SBI NRE account has got better exchange rate on the same date. Also AXIS Bank is deducting some amount, but for what I still don't know because they won't mention it on my statement. Tried sending mails to my Branch and also customer service but no response from them. I feel like getting cheated by AXIS Bank services. One of my friend , he is also facing the same issue with AXIS Bank, and don't know how many more are facing this sort of problems. Please Help.

                  I D.Deshakumar have a saving account in AXIS BANK ADAYAR BRANCH from 2008 and i have a current account name 'Miss U' in pallavaram branch from 2009...

                  Actually i am not interested in credit card at all but TWICE axis bank marketing persons came to me and offered me a credit card,so i applied giving all my IT documents and PROOF'S in which they declined twice without any reason...I am not bothered about their rejection but i am very much worried about the documents that i gave them with my sign..Once my friend applied for loan and he itself rejected and after few months he got Rs.36,000 telephone bill in which the loan person used his proof to get the table top phone and used ringing ISD calls to different numbers...At last my friend faced a Hectic problem because of the document submission....

                  1.I AM ANGRY WHY AXIS CREDIT CARD DEPT. itself offered me a credit card n why they REJECTED???
                  2.I am afraid any miss use can occur by using my signed document...

                    I am D.Deshakumar an current account holder in AXIS BANK PALLAVARAM CHENNAI..Axis band provided me a edc machine with charges of 1.6% per swipe when i agree to get the machine in 2009..But now days without informing me they are charging me 2% and more in each and every swipe...If i enquire them they are giving me a wrong information and now days i am not satisfied with Axis edc so i reduced card payments and in future i don't mind to cancel it and get edc machines with a bank like kotak mahindra,indus ind,idbi,etc. in which they are charging not more than 1.6% for sure for all cards...

                    I want answer why AXIS BANK CHARGE more than 2% for each and every swipe?????

                      I did a wrong NEFT transfer of Rs 2,000 from my axis bank account to IDBI account.I could get the details of IDBI customer to whom money was credited.I spoke to him and he said that he is not using his account from past two years.Money which i credited into his account on 01/02/12 is still in his account.I have put several requests to both Axis and IDBI bank officials.But there is no response from them.Please kindly help me.

                          Axis bank has shown their inability to provide me home loan due to non-availability of NOC on the property. Though it was mentioned to bank at the beginning of process and after legal inquiry bank also confirmed that loan can be provided without NOC. Even Mr. Javed asked me to provide affidavit in this regard and same was provided. I have sent multiple e-mails to return my documents and Processing Fee but noone is replying to those e-mails. So, please provide me all my documents along with processing fee charged. Processing fee should be returned with interest at the same rate as of loan interest rate provided by Axis bank.
                          None of the Axis Bank employee is replying to the e-mails nor they are refunding processing fee and all the documents which includes cheques.

                            As I have bought a residential flat in bandhaghat area of Howrah District P.O. Malipanchghora and applied in your Bank for home loan .I got sanction letter for Rs. 970000/- ( Rupees Nine Lakh Seventy thousand only ) on 20.10.11 .I have submitted all requisite papers to your representatives they require after undue pause ( say every after 15 days ).They have not given me any list of papers I need to submit . After one by one they asked me to submit papers .Before my flat developer I felt embarrasement due to your delay in disbursement. I had to borrow from market due to delay at higher rate of interest only to keep my promise before the promoter and developer. I am not even getting any paper back and neither any processing report .They have harassed me for 3 months . They had not even respond to my calls then .They also took payment for rs 5700/.
                            Please look into the matter .

                              I signed up for Max New York Life Gain Plus policy through Axis bank. The representative at Axis bank informed me that i will receive a phone call from Max New York within "couple of days" confirming my sign up. I signed up on Monday, March 19, 2012. Till date I have not received any phone calls from any of the Max New York Life Insurance representative. Upon calling the toll free number of Max New York, they claim they do not have any record of me. My account was already debited on March 20, 2012 for the policy premium payment by Axis Bank. I immediately called and asked them to stop that pay order but I was informed that it cannot be done now and I have to wait to get the policy paperr first. Today it has been 10 days since i signed up and paid for the service and still no record of any papers or any phone call as claimed by the Axis bank representative.

                              I am not sure if I will ever get any policy papers at all. I just want to cancel this and get a refund of my money that axis has debited from my account !!

And anywhere possible, I will give my feedback about axis bank. I was lured into this policy. I was misinformed about the policy terms. And now when I want to cancel, I have to wait for the policy papers and the papers would never come..!!

                              Axis Bank — MISINFORMATION

                              I had opened a Savings A/c ( No.[protected] ) with Krishna Nagar ( Delhi-51) branch of Axis Bank on 05/9/08. While opening the A/c I was suggested to opt for the "Smart Priviledge " A/c instead of the ordinary Savings A/c. I was told to maintain an average Qtly balance ( AQB ) OF Rs 10, 000 instead of Rs. 5, 000 ( in the Ordinary Savigs A/c ) for which I would be issued a debit card free of cost alongwith no annual maintenance fees for the same. I agreed for the same. But when I got my passbook I was shocked to see a debit of Rs. 57 towards card issuance charges. I have argued with them a no. of times alongwith my wriiten complaint ( on their demand ) but to no avail.

                              i have deposited a cqe of rs 35000 on 7th april, and today till date 16th april the amount is not credited in my account.i have complained about this at their customer care but they don't have any information about the cqe then i went to the branch where i have deposited and they told that it will be credit to your account today by 11 am but still i waiting...when i called this gye just now he told you have to wait just for one more day..they have the worst BANKING SERVICE ...
                              i am also a victim of Axis bank. they are moving in icici way. very soon they wil go bankrupt accoding to me. i suggest everyone to close all relationships with axis bank and opt for other good banks like HDFC or even nationalised banks. do not trust banks like Axis/Icici. they are enjoying withe the public money.
                              I was asked to visit the branch today and was requested to sign the NEFT paper. I signed the document and I was informed that within 7 working days, I wil get my money back. The total amount that was debited was Rs.30, 000. I was informed that there will be a deduction of postal/stamp charges of Rs.120 and the entire remaning amount will be refunded back.

                              My perception is it takes maximum of 48 hours for NEFT transfers and not 7 days.

                              However, as it is, I was assured that the amount will be credited to my account within seven days. I will be waiting for this 7-day period and will keep this thread updated with any recent updates. I will post another reply to this forum once the amount is refunded to my account.
                              They are a bunch of thugs !!! They are thieves, have stolen my money !!

                              I was informed that I will get my money back within seven business days. The seven business-day period is already over still no sign of my money in my account.

                              Upon contacting, I was informed that it will take a further two day time till Tuesday, April 17, 2012 for the refund to get processed.

                              Since I felt I am being given a run around, I asked the representative to send me an email documenting that I will get my funds by April 17, 2012. I have not received any email yet. My money is not credited yet. Axis and Max New York are thieves. Worst Customer Service. Broken promises. Even after complaining here, they have still not refunded my money in the time period they had mentioned.

                              I need my money back ASAP / an assurance in writing with a fixed date as to when I can see funds in my account !!

                                Worst service. The Branch Manager of Axis Bank (Pumping Station, Nasik) is a complete on the chair. While opening account, they talk so sweetly and run behind us as dogs and I had confirmed about Pass book, they said anyone from family can come and collect it from Branch. Now I am in Mumbai for health treatment, and these people are saying I need to personally attend the bank and collect the Pass Book. Bloody on the Branch managers face. I will publish this all over the internet.

                                  My account has been debited with Rs 2600 + 10.8 % service tax as consolidated charges . I checked with bank. they told this is charge for not maintaining Quartelry Average balance

                                  charge for Not maintaing quarterly balance - 500
                                  Charge per transaction with out maintaining balance - Rs. 100 ( Per transaction ) ( 22 * 100 = Rs 2200 )
                                  for Transactions Rs 80 or 100 or 200 they deducted charge of Rs 100 . how it can be possible ?

                                  charge for not maintaining quarterly balance - 500 is fine . But how they can charge for transactions . i am not using banks money . i am using my money. Account minimum balance is Rs.2500 . and the transactons charge they should charge immediately after the transactions not at the year.

                                  i baswaraj bachane holding a NRI AND NRO account at uti now it is axix bank.the account no.[protected].

                                  Without my notice they debited to my account rs-750/-
                                  there was no answar from any o[censored]ti branch.

                                      Dear sir,

                                      My self Naveen kumar and i have an salary account in Axis bank [AC: [protected]] and I have issued cheque no 184014 [date 2/03/2012] of Rs . 505104 for foreclosure of home loan to HDFC bank but cheque was bounced due to signature mismatch as confirmned by HDFC bank.

                                      I did not get any information by Axis Bank for signature mismatch due to this i am bearing extra interest amount for HDFC home loan foreclosure.

                                      Even Though I issued a new cheque no 184016 of Rs. 506268 [with extra interest amount] for HDFC home loan foreclosure on date 12/03/2012 but agian cheque is bounced.
                                      Kindly suggest how can i pay the amount for home loan foreclosure and how can i get my home registry.

                                      And also refund my interest amount as i have earlier paid.

                                      Banking — cheque bounce

                                      I K.P.Prakash having Savings bank account in SBM Bank JVSL Branch(Code : 40558 ) Toranagallu,
                                      KARNATAKA, I am an Home loan customer in ICICI Bank Hubli Branch since February 2006, My Salary is paying to SBM Bank JVSL Branch, so that I have given Post Dated Cheques for the amount Rs.10030 per month EMI towards Home loan to ICICI Bank.

                                      For the month of August 2006 ICICI Bank has been submitted the cheque for the payment of EMI amount but from SBM JVSL Branch reply has been sent stating that insufficient fund in the account even though there is enough amount of money in the account and simultaneously they have debited the amount from my account and it entered in the passbook

                                      After 2 years and 5 months continuous fighting and follow up with ICICI Bank by giving the pass book copy showing the details & I found the documents from ICICI bank, returned statement and Cheque from SBM to ICICI bank.

                                      Now with These documents I have queried to SBM JVSL Branch to rectify the problem. tell me whose fault it is & I have to suffer for two years by recieving the calls & Notices from ICICI bank as defaulter

                                      Is it right way to do the works in respectible posts...

                                      I Venu Tatineni here with submitt my issue with Axis Bank.

                                      I am employed with Global Infovision Pvt. Ltd., my Account is salaray a/c with Axis Bank., Srinagar Colony, Ameerpet, Hyderabad - 500073., my account number [protected], i have issued a cheque to HDFC Bank amount of 4510/- Rupees only.. in regard to credit card payment and my cheque is been bounced on 25/04/2009 though i have sufficient funds in my account. I have given a complaint regarding the same to the bank but there is no reponse from the bank.

                                      I have been charged the cheque bounces charges from both the banks., and HDFC bank has charged me the late payment charges, finance charges, and other charges.. Iam facing somany problems from Axis Bank since 2 months.. I have requested them to rectifiy the issue but they are not at all bother about the customer.

                                      I have issued a cheque of Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand with my signature that i have been doing for last 5 years in it. On the reverse of the cheque i have given my contact details & payment details to whom i have been made.

                                      The said cheque was dishourned by axis bank stating reason of signature mismach in their record.
                                      The result of which i suffered financial loss to whom i have issued cheque & reputation.

                                      The axis bank didnt check the contact number that is mine which is also recorded in their database in the back side of the cheque.

                                      If they have any doubt they should have called me clarifying details.

                                      These is a calousness on part of bank which resulted in my financial loss.

                                      The bank even donot respond to my clarification despite writing to them so many times.

                                      Kindly confirm what can be done in such a case to cliam financial damage that i have suffered where bank is not responding to my query

                                      I've issued a cheque, of my Axis bank account, Rs. 15,000/- which has been deposited on State bank of India. But, this cheque got bounce and the reason mentioned is "Connectivity failure". Consequently, my credibility got impacted and also cause of mental harassment. Moreover, State Bank of India deducted some amount from second party's account.

                                      Kindly advise what would be the process of getting compensation of all the losses incurred.

                                      I am Siva Sankar Sampangi who took a personal loan from your bank with a/c number: PPR[protected].

                                      I took the loan when I was working in Chennai last year. I stayed in Chennai till December. After that I was transferred to Hyderabad.

                                      In Chennai, Every month the personal from your bank will come to our room and will collect the EMI because of no ECS process. So, I visited your branch which is located in PTC (Chennai) and explained about my loan payment and requested them to do necessary steps with regard to ECS.

                                      But no one responded in correct manner and myself help less. later After shifted to HYD, I visited another branch of your bank and requested for ECS. But the bank people said that It will take around 40-50 days of time. So, I stayed calm for January month.

                                      In February I was quite busy with my marriage and even though I expected a call from your bank with regard to ECS but not.

                                      So, finally I waited for ECS activation in Jan and Feb but no updation’s I received from your end.

                                      Later I got a call from your bank in March said that need to pay your EMI quite urgent. But Due to the ECS activation I was waited for 2 months and at the same time I have not received any call from your people. So I too stayed calm.

                                      But yesterday after checking my account statement, I realized that for the last two months axis bank people checked with my cheque’s but due to the lack of money it’s bounced back.

                                      Really I was not aware on this till yesterday and it’s impacted me in another bank HDFC where I was applied for property loan. It’s got rejected due to the issue on cheque bounce in axis bank.

                                      Please think in my point of view and do a favour.

                                      I am not having the character to escape from EMI’s. You people helped me when I needed the money.

                                      Please do the ECS process as soon as possible and reply me which allows to get a loan in HDFC which I already applied.

                                      My EMI due was on 5th April. Also i have kept sufficient money in my account. But i received message that my cheque was bounced and i need to pay immidiately.

                                      Till now i have not received any phone call from them regards how to pay and what was happened. But i am receiving message every day that i have to pay.

                                      Sine it was 1st EMI i could not understand what went wrong and from the bank side no proper information to proceed further.

                                        I have an saving account with Axis Bank, Ghatkopar East Branch and want to transfer my account with the bank branch at Vakola, Santacruz East, Mumbai as i stay in Vakola.
                                        For doing this i had approached the branch on 15/03/2012 and met Ms Rikhiya Pal ( Customer Care ) who told me that the bank does not permit transfer of account within the same city.
                                        For doing the transfer the bank will have to take the permission of the bank Circle Manager or the transfer could be done in case my address also changes. In my case there is no change in address.
                                        She further told me that to close the account at Ghatkopar and open a new account.

                                        In this age where now a days even mobile telephone portability is a reality and easily done i do not understand the reluctance of the bank, vakola branch to transfer my account from ghatkopar to Vakola.
