I took new D2H Connection on 11.03.2014 and the service people installed the d2h connection on the same Day. My Customer Id No. is[protected]. My Account No. is 11399149. On the first day itself the remote of the Set Top Box doesn't work properly and the service person told me to contact the Customer care and that he is entrusted with the responsibility of just giving connection only. My repeated efforts to contact the Customer Care Number yielded no fruit as no one cared to attend the call even all my cell balance is drained out. ( I astonish how my cell balance is draining out even the other end is not caring to respond... your customer care number is set like that to earn profit to the cell providers, I think!!!). My customer ID is 53563300, one of my 2 set top boxes is not working. I am not able to reach the call center agent as I hear menu on the call and choose to talk to an agent regarding the problem and also regarding the changes in my channel as per TRAI regulations but the call goes blank after I have been told that the agents are busy and hold the line. I have called 3 times today and have been holding the line for over 30 minutes without anyone attending to me on not even an hold music being played. Please get in touch with my immediately regarding my channel selection and the set top box issue. Whenever I have tried to get in touch with your call center the experience has been pathetic, you have the worlds worst ever contact center service. Also your website is also not working today.

    i am zainab bibi iqbal ansari given complaint no[protected] dated 21 april id number 93175750 and was told some one will come to chk and make the dish operational and then complained on 23 april at 1945 to mr dhaval complaint number[protected] and asked him to transfer line to supervisor but they keep you on wait endlessly and then drop the line i am much aggrieved and have no peace of mind andhavebeen duped by videocon d 2h that they will give very good after sales service

      I am from Chennai and I have been using Videocon D2H for the last two years and have regretted every single time I reached out to the customer service base (Tamil). Customer ID – 19642080 I couldn’t take it anymore after today’s incident that happen last three days. Now I have decided to discontinue Videocon D2H and I will ensure no person in my known circle will choose D2H as I don’t want anyone to will ever experience such a cheap service. I would like to justify with the recent unpleasant and sick experience as in why I am taking a strong stand against Videocon D2H – Before getting in to it I have my validity till 30th of April 2014 and my TV works just fine when I play some movies through DVDs so that it cut out the option that anything being wrong from my end. On 17th April 2014 early morning the TV screen went blank and called up the customer care (TAMIL - [protected]) to report this incident and they instructed me to do something to the device (like turning off the device and removing and inserting the smart card again) and I did so. But nothing seems to be working and they said they will reset the device from their end and asked me to wait for three hours so that it gets fixed. I had been to office after that and returned back in the evening and found that the TV screen was still blank. I immediately called the customer service and asked told them the problem and they said again they would reset it (As the ritual) and again the same three hours. On 18th morning the problem was still there again I called the customer care but for 12 minutes nobody attended me. Again in the afternoon from my office I called and again for 15 minutes one answered and same state in the evening too. On 19th early morning around 7 AM I called up the customer care and asked them for a resolution on this issue immediately explaining the issue. The lady gave a damn and said we have registered a complaint (Complaint No:[protected] and ‘THERE WILL BE A SERVICE ENGINEER VISITING YOUR HOME TODAY’. I told her that I have been facing this issue for the last two days and I requested her to fix this so that I could watch the IPL at peace over the weekend. Nobody is at my home during this weekend and I didn’t have any idea when this service engineer would turn up. I call the customer care around 4 PM to check when the person would be coming. The lady who spoke to me said ‘The service engineer will be there in the EVENING’. I cancelled my plan of going out and sat back home just not to miss this person. Till 8 PM no one turned up and called up the customer care again and spoke to one of the meanest and arrogant and incompetent named ARJUN (I don’t even know if he gave me the real name). I told him that I have been waiting for the service engineer the whole day and he bluntly said your complaint is registered only by 7AM in the morning and we have 24 hours to solve this. I told him I have been telling this problem for the last 3 days and he said it doesn’t matter as the complaint is registered only in the morning. I asked him how come they didn’t consider this as a complaint when I told two days back, he simply said they would take time to decide if this is a complaint. I asked him again would the service engineer be coming today or not as committed. He hung up the phone saying that “we have 24 hours to solve this issue” – such person cannot work in a service industry I called up again and spoke to a customer service executive and explained the issue of being waiting the whole day for the service engineer and he was very rude too. I wanted to escalate this behaviour and asked him to put me through to his manager. I was forwarded to a person known as Deepak. Well I should say that this person was way better, he just hung up on me when I was explaining the issue. I again tried calling and as usual no one answered. On 20th Morning around 11 AM I was super annoyed as they have a 24 hour window to close the ticket. I have been waiting for this to be resolved for 76 hours and withstanding various rude and cheap treatments just for asking when the customer service executive will turn up. I called up a lady and forgot her name who annoyed me to the core. I explained her this issue and asked her two things 1) Why you failed on your commitment of sending the customer service executive till this morning 2) When will this person come so that I can plan accordingly She said this issue has gone to the escalation and it would get resolved on its own. She very easily said just wait for it. I went out of my mind and still controlled my temper and asked her to please provide me the details of the service engineer who is assigned so that I can check when he would coming. She again with an attitude said “we don’t possess those details and I cant help you getting that”. This is customer service at its worst. She said that there will definitely be a service engineer for sure but she can’t tell anything more. No one turned up till this Monday morning 22nd April!! Now see this people I had to wait without anyone at home and TV just for the service engineer to turn up for TWO days (Saturday and Sunday) I badly wanted to watch IPL and couldn’t for the last 4 days! On top of all these I had to listen to these arrogant customer service executives. Such a pathetic, poor and cheap service (Mr.Arjun & Lady I spoke to were the star of cheapness)!!

        due to short of IC. I loged

        first complaint on 26.02.14 at Customer Care of D2H. Eng visit on 28.02.14, and said i repaired it after 01 week.So, Pl,

        make a DD of Rs-1200/- the repairing charge. After making several calls it was not repaired.


        2. Second complaint logged on 24.03.14 my complaint no[protected] .

        3. Third Comp on 29.03.14 no[protected] Eng visit again said It will be resolve on next 04/5 days,

        But still its pending So, Pl, Suggest me what i can do.

        I recharged of Rs 225.

        Videocon D2H — Not providing Service

        Installed Videocon D2H service. There is continuously disturbibg voice when D2h is tuned to TV. Complaints to Service provider lots of time.Reply is just non sense and fairy tales......and unable to resolve the problem since last 3 weeks....

                      Hi I paid total Rs.7000 for videocon d2h installation after waiting for 3 days they called me and told that they are afraid of the local cable operator and so they cant install it. Even if they have to install it then i should pick up their service engineer and drop him in his place. What kind of customer service is this?? are we slave for those people or why are they opening a company when they don't have the guts to face the issues in business.

                      send a mail and call online sales for my money to be refunded. Now let
                      me ask, why the hell should i call and send a mail to them to get MY
                      MONEY, when they don't have interest in accepting the customer. Now they
                      are not ready to even pick my call..Sheer non-sense.

                          Hi,

                          I took VIDEOCON D2H 1 month back and they gave first month free for paid channels. After completing the free service i need to recharge it for uninterrupted services. To do this i tried to register in their website using below URL

                          but every time when i try to register i am getting below error

                          ERROR [28882696] Unable to process your request. Try again later.

                          and when i try to contact their customer help line numbers i m getting very poor response. They put me on wait for 30-40 mins and then its disconnecting automatically. Its repeating every time.

                          I tried all their 3 customer service numbers but the same thing repeating from all those numbers.

                          So kindly register a complaint on this and try to help me in this regard

However, recently I have been appalled by their commitment and customer service. I installed a videocon TV in March 2013 and relocated the same on July 3, 2013 from Chunnabhati to Bhakti Park (I currently have 2 television connection). My TV stopped working since last week of February 2013. We had called the engineer and customer services several times and have been given to understand by one of the engineers that the antena was never fixed at my apartment and the engineer had fixed the wire on a tata dish instead of installing a videocon dish. I have been speaking to them at least 10 times a day, explaining the problem, however, the level of incompetency and idiocy is scary. I have spoken to everyone from Rajit Yadav to area head Mr. Santosh Pawar to Tushar. Everyone wants me to pay again for the dish given that the dish was not installed to begin with. Given how regulated this sector is, it is strange that Videocon can function the way they do currently. I have written several e-mails to them, however the same have been unanswered.                             I have yet to receive any response from your representative. I want to cancel my connection and have been told it will take 5 days. Further, I have been trying my level best to cancel my connection. This is terrible service, You guys DONT HAVE ANY ENGLISH speaking associates? Your call centre representatives hang up in between a conversation!

                              Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Priya residing at Chennai, Mobile No[protected]. My setup box was not working, Customer ID[protected]so i registered the complaint on 10th Feb, they asked for service charge to attend the problem. So i decided to deactivate the connection, On 13th Feb'14, I spoken to Mr. John (Manager), agreed to deactivate and informed me that recharge amount of Rs. 500 plus will be credited to my account on or before 20th Feb'14. But I received the SMS from them stating that issue will be solved on 28th Feb'14. But Till date I dint get my amount. Whenever I calling, customer service peoples were responding very bad. No solution given yet. Today (13th Mar'14) I given a call asked for the refund, saying that still the D2H in active mode. Cannot give the refund amount... I really fed up of calling them. I spent more than Rs.100 for calling these ppl and they were really irritating me to return my oun money.. I kindly request you to take the necessary step and reslove the issue and get my money back. Is registered with DND and not interested in getting calls, the executives harass by calling repeatedly from different no.'s. I am complaining to TRAI and will file an action suite on D2H with call and online harassment if it does not stop now.
                                  I had already selected few pause channels in the month of Jan. Today I have added two more channels, however it seems Videocon have removed previously selected channels. I want these channels.

                                  Please call me to add these channels. Kindly resolve my issue at the earliest as I am not able to update anything from my side due to technical issue.
                                  Same here. In the last 3 days, I have received 170+ calls from 38 different numbers, and every time, a new person keeps calling. I am tired of blocking so many numbers. I received one call and they are so stupid, they don't care if we ask them to stop. They keep calling. They ensure to start at 10:02 in the morning and do not stop till 19:28 in the evening, daily. Imagine, 170 calls in 3 days and imagine how many calls per day.
