I am a regular importer. Recently i imported a consignment [58 kg] [jan-19] from my supplier bearing awb [protected] through fedex. At the time of booking at our supplier side, the fedex-china informed the freight amount would be $600[all inclusive]. The material reached our place, where fedex india informed the freight amount is rs.99000.00 [$1425]. When i inquired, they said we don't have an account with fedex. After so many followups, finally they accepted our account number. Then they raised different issues,
1) stating it was booked with our supplier account
2) our supplier booked in non economy mode
3) our supplier has not confirmed the freight amount at the time of booking.
We cleared all the issues one after another. From the same supplier we imported a consignment through tnt, where the total freight amount was only rs.21000.00. Since i am a regualar importer, i know the freight amount. Else???
For their mistakes, they are penalizing the customer.
Finally [may-19] i advised them to return the material back to my supplier.

After so many follow ups, FEDEX said the freight amount is correct. They are charging 5 times more than my regular import charge.
THEY ARE CHEATING ME BY CHARGING SUCH A HUGE MONEY.
I informed them to return back the material to my supplier. Also advised them to return my DUTY AMOUNT.
Because of this reason, they are loosing good business from my two other companies.
They are not resolving the issue as on[protected].
