On november i called the hdfc credit card customer care to block my card as it got misplaced and i didn't want to re-issue a new one against that. And in that regalia first card ending with xxxx 9674, only a tv was purchased on emi of 12 months with per month emi amount rs. 5694/- which used to get auto debit from my hdfc account every month.
While blocking the card, so that it may not be misused; i re-confirmed that "the emi won't be affected on blocking the card, the emi will continue as usual." had i was informed beforehand that blocking will stop the emi & i will have to pay all the outstanding amount, then i would not have blocked the card till emi ends and till then if the card gets misused, then i would have filed a case against or filed a dispute form.
Since of course i can't pay the whole outstanding amount or had i were able to pay the whole amount on the 1st place only, then why would i have purchased the tv on emi? That's an obvious thing. Right?
But, on december, i started getting calls that my payment got bounced, although i had sufficient funds for the emi; then how come i was getting calls of insufficient funds? No one told me no one reverted even after being requested/asked to revert back to me to 4-5 different people who called only to say keep sufficient funds.
Later on i realized by myself that credit card collection department tried to withdraw the whole outstanding amount i. E 39, 248/- approx. How come they get the authority to deduct the whole outstanding payment without my consent or prior information even after confirming the emi doesn't get affected???
I wont bear any extra charges incurred due to the credit card department nuisance neither will pay a penny extra for your fault and delay in everything.
Why the whole outstanding is been deducted without my consent? And why the emi been stopped without my consent and prior notice?
On what basis rs. 1970 was auto deducted again without informing and without any communication? And it got deducted again and again.
I need these to fall in place like i was assured while blocking the card i. E the emi to be continued with no interest charges which was already going smoothly or resolve accordingly. And i won't and i cant pay the outstanding amount at one go neither i will pay any extra amount due to the credit card department negligence or what so ever.

Also needed to add that,. For almost 15 days, i called like an insane every now and then to get connected to the hdfc credit card, and after so many battles of getting connected (Since the card is blocked, so cant telecall without entering the card details); the customer care person will just replay that they cant do anything rather than call back as they can't view details of the card. And then after numerous fake promises of call backs, got 2 calls from collection department - one guys who called was so rude that he made me cry with his behavior and the other lady who called was such kind of that she kept the phone on but didn't reply at & i waited for 8 minutes. They try to treat me with no respect and i feel humiliated by the unprofessional words they use. Well, already people are aware of the unprofessionalism of hdfc bank credit card.
Kindly look into this on very urgent basis.

I want to close both the credit cards associated with my customer ID 42653207. I am not using either of those cards ending with 0094 and the other card as well.
