We are staying in abroad and 50days before we have settled our credit card account in chennai by paying rs.26740. Hdfc debt collection team was co-ordinating closely with us until they receive the amount from me. And when i was trying to trace them for noc letter/credit card closure letter, there is no response from the manager as well his executive.. Trying to catch him through calls msgs mails for the past 6days but no answer.. Would be highly grateful, if i get an update on the status of my credit card.. I know they have paid but not sure whether they paid as settlement or emi's as i haven't received any receipt stating that..

Hi,

Can any body please share the reason for my credit card disapproval.

when all the documents, cibil score, inspection is correct than why you disapproved my request. The reason for rejection has to be shared with customer. Will never apply for HDFC credit card again.

I am a HDFC bank credit card holder . The bank has auto debited Rs. 1399/- from my credit card, without my concern on date:15/05/2017. I am not interested about this service and don't want this membership any more. So cancel the membership and refund this debited amount of Rs.1399/-

    My credit card ending 1722 has been debited without my knowledge. They did not call or inform me about debiting my card one assist. This is a useless service that i have not used till now and i do not want this service to continue anymore. So, please discontinue the one assist service and do credit my card back.

      From hdfc ergo insurance, there was a renewal raised on 12-nov-2018 for rs.8124. Due to this transaction, in my credit card there was a over limit charge of rs.500 raised. When i enquired with hdfc bank through customer service (Ph no[protected] on 13th nov, the agent said, it was the renewal hence the amount was debited. And also the agent advised to me to contact ergo to reverse the entry, once it is debited automatically the over limit charge will be reversed.
      Actually, already i sent sms to ergo to cancel it based on their intimation sent to me in sep'18. The renewal amount was not intimated to me and it was automatically debited from my credit card. Though i put around rs.4000 in to my credit card account to avoid additional charges if any.
      So again as advised by hdfc bank customer service agent, i sent a mail to ergo and i received the confirmation for the cancellation.
      As per the statement, the debit and negative entries are available on the same day (12.11.18) though, the over limit charge is available in the statement on the same day for the excess of rs.4500. I could not understand this if + and - entries are there then why the over limit charge is there for only rs.4500.
      On 13th evening, one more reversal entry was enable in the cc account. I called the hdfc customer service agent on 14th and asked to remove the over limit charge. Now the agent said, once the rs.8124 is reversed, the over limit charge will be reversed. But i was not satisfied so i told her to hand over the phone to her manager. The agent said, manager was not there once returned i would be called. But nothing happened. The over limit charge was not reversed.
      On 17th one more debit entry created for the amount of rs.8124. So, on 19th i called the customer service and asked about the entry. They said this will not be effected in your statement. The over limit charge also will be reversed. Even though, i said, i wanted to speak with the manager. Now also the same reply received. Till 20th nothing happened neither the reversal of over limit charge nor the manager contacted me.
      I do not understand why there is manager for the customer service phone calls since he/she does not want to face the customers.
      And apart from that the card is being used since 2005 by me though, they have put an over limit charge and also after my repeated phone calls it is still not reversed.
      Just the bank wants to snatch the money from the customers in many ways and does not want to recredit the wrong debit. This is not the first time i faced. Many times it happened and every time i have to call and request them to reverse the wrong entry.
      Even in reward points given by bank, whenever a new credit card is issued due to expiry of the old card, to the customer, 50% of the reward points will be reduced. Why they give reward points and why they want to get 50% for the new issuance when the old one is expired? Simply they cheat the customers and snatch the money with the hidden charges. When i go for the pre closure of the personal loan or jewel loan, initially the bank rep will tell only the minimum charge and when i go for the payment, the huge hidden charge will come.
      If i do not receive any proper reply, i do not have any option except to close all the accounts in hdfc bank.

      It is not yet resolved and more than that my over limit charge has not been deducted due to the EROG trxn. I am surprised why the customer rep was not fully read my complaints.

          I was holding an hdfc titanium times card from more then 6 to 7 years. Now they are offering life time free cards to the new customers. I connected with the customer care and told them to convert my card to life time free card as i have to bear the annual charges even i earn more then 70, 000 a month and they are offering life time free cards to guys with salary less then 20, 000 a month.

          They told me to send a cancellation application at chennai branch and tole me the retention team will connect but instead of that they cancelled my card.

          I again connected with customer care team to told then the hole story. They do not have any solution apart from applying a new card after 3 months so reach to the grievance team and then nodal team. All of them are useless then someone from nodal team told me that, i need to reactivate my card then only they are able to convert it to life time free card so i send them the reactivation form and told them to convert it to life time free card. They activated my card but did not converted it to life time free card, moreover, they have change my cc number.

          I wrote an email to [protected]@hdfcbank.com and rajendrakumar. [protected]@hdfcbank.com as well but havn't received any solution yet. Even i posted on twitter as well by looping in mr. Puri and neeraj but that was again a time waste effort.

          I am chasing them from past one month and that too for nothing. Do not fall in the trap of hdfc bank. All the guys from top to bottom are useless.

          As per suggestion from you higher management, I have reactivated my card so that they may convert it to life time free card.

          Upon reactivation, you guys have changed the CC number and moreover, I had paid the annual charges till Feb 2019 and upon reactivation why the expiry dates are different?

          Due to validity dates changes, my next bill will have the annual fee included which I have already paid till Feb 2019.

          This is totally ###. Stop fooling the customers.

            I had purchased oneplus 6 from amazon.in on 01/06/2018.
            Hdfc bank's 10% cashback offer on debit card payment was there.
            Before purchasing the product i called bank's customer care & they told me that the casback will be credited to your account within 90 days.
            Then after their confirmation i ordered the product.
            But till now no cashback received. Its 5 months now.
            Even i have contacted with the bank also but they are also unable to help me.
            I have tried phone banking numbers several times but unable to reach their customer care representative, every time call disconnected.
            So what should i do now.?

              Hello team,

              Good morning!

              I want to raise a complain against the hdfc credit card department for delaying the delink process of my credit card from one of my savings bank account.
              This process usually takes 3-4 working days. However, it has crossed more than a week and the account is not yet delinked.
              This is not at all a good customer service. And, more over the customer care representatives are repeatedly saying same thing "it will be done in next 24 hours". This is not at all accepted.

              If i compare current position of hdfc bank credit card department with other banks, then hdfc is the worst. Others are much much better than them.

              As my service request number :- [protected] is still pending, i'm raising a complain here expecting some action to expedite the process.

                Kindly refer my complaint id - 2149267 on dated 19/11/2018.in this reference hdfc bank customers assistant mr. Rahul tripathi have been sent email to us dt.19/11/2018 and demanded by email to share my mobile number. I have been given the my mobile number and he was called us and demand the debit card number for gateway reimbursement also share my otp and cvv number.                   I, mrs. Renuka l k, had applied for home loan for which i was told that processing fees is refundable.
                  I had applied for balance transfer of home loan (Loan take-over), file number,[protected]. However, the loan application has not been processed by the bank.
                  Hence request you to refund the amount paid towards processing fees.
                  This is a remainder email for the refund of the processing fees that is paid towards home loan.

                    My salary account (In hdfc bank) was created in my first company, i left the company and joined somewhere else. Now my salary account in hdfc bank has been converted to savings account (Without informing me or warning me) in the month of october 2018 i had called customer care and raised a request to close my account as i did not want to use the account. I never logged in to my account through net banking and i did not use debit card. I have more than 5000 negative balance in my account. I request you to please take action against this bank.. Thay have no right to do whatever they want without informing the customer
                    And no one has informed me regarding the minimum balance n other things while opening the account.

                          edc machine is not working.

                          The escalator machine from hdfc bank is not working properly.. We are unable to do a transaction. Every we try to swipe a card it says retry bach transaction.
                          Few days ago the network was not showing at all. After trying the needful the network is visible but transaction is not getting successfully. As a result we are facing a lot of inconvenience.
                          We have also registered twice complain over the phone to the service engineer...

                            My name is ashish debnath and i am an ex employee of hdfc bank. I resigned from my duties as i had some medical emergencies at home and i couldnot continue. I informed my bm and hr via mail the reason dor giving resignation and not been able to serve notice and requested them to accept my resignation and release me. They didnot respond to my mails and got me terminated. Even the hr is not responding to my mails. I mailed them about the urgency and also that i am ready to provide the proofs to validate it. My carrer is been at stake due to their unprofesional behaviour. Request you to kindly help me.

                                I am writing this requesting the bank to address bad behavior by one of it's employee on a call which he did.

                                Lumpsum story, an employee from 'general office' in ghaziabad made a few calls for informing about credit cards payment, which i was unable to attend being busy during the day. Towards the evening, he calls again and outright starts behaving badly while blaming me for intentionally ignoring his calls.

                                I wonder what effect such behavior might be having on your overall customer retention efforts. However, i would be glad if this specific issue is addressed asap.

                                  Respected sir/madam, the executive of the bank did not provide the proper information and the registry of property is not done and in this condition the topup of loan was not possible . The loan is not done yet the full amount is not refunded.
                                  There is no fault from the costumer yet amount is deducted .i request that my remaining amount should be refunded in my acount.

                                    Respected sir/madam my loan acount no is[protected] I applied for home loan top up loan .the executive did not told about the compulsion of registry of property in this condition I gave the documents to the executive .after processing the loan the bank told that the paper of registry is compulsory and without it the topup is not possible .while the loan is not passed yet the amount is deducted .it is not the fault of the costumer so you are requested to refund the remaining amount.
                                    I want my due amount in my acount .

                                      Please note that i applied for HDFC Credit Card and got Reference No : [protected]N1. I got all verification done at my office and residence too. I got multiple calls at office too for verification.

                                      Today got checked in HDFC Link showing track your card application. Found the reason as follows.

                                      DISAPPROVAL OF THE CREDIT CARD APPLICATION DOES NOT REFLECT IN ANYWAY ON YOUR CREDIT STANDING OR YOUR FINANCIAL STABILITY

                                      We told to HDB Financial who called us for Credit Card and we never gone to HDFC for the same. Mamta, Executive called and we given all papers and verification also done positively.

                                      I called Customer CARE and they are not giving any reason for Rejection. As per RBI GUIDELINE CIRCULAR NO - RBI/[protected]/100 BOD.FSD.BC.23/24.01.011/2008-09 DATED[protected]. HDFC Bank should give us reason or else we also file complaint in RBI and bank ombudsman.

                                      We want Reason for Rejection as it will hit my CIBIL. My CIBIL was all clear and i got Home Loan too on same address. If we will not find reason for rejection, we will file case in Consumer court. It is my dignity which got effected and i am fully made up my mind for filing legal case against HDFC. I never had any credit card or liabilities from any bank in the past.

                                      Please provide reason or else i will file case in consumer court.
