I am an old customer of hdfc bank. Earlier i maintained a salary account in this bank but after leaving job i have opened up a new saving account because of their good service. But now as i am not earning, i am unable to maintain their average monthly balance, you we can say follow their criteria of amb. Without giving any prior info related to less balance for a particular month they have deduct 1000rs straight from my savings account, by the transaction name of charges for not maintaining amb for aug and sep month. At the end of sep they are giving info related to less bal and then not only this they have deducted the money too without any prior info.
Just for the sake of maintaining this amb, they charge such a huge amount. Its indirectly a method for bank to earn more money. I am house wife and its not possible for me to maintain this 10000rs bal in my account each and every month. I cannot keep an eye for each and every transaction., that how much i have now and how much i have spend. We try our best to save, but what if we are unable to maintain it, and if we will not maintain it, then bank will charge a good amount as charges for not maintaing the amb.
I just want to say that i want my money back, or i am gonna close my account soon. I cannot take this thing, anymore.
