Dear Sir,

According to recent decision of RBI (as I remember), there should be no charge levied on the ATM card of other banks used at particular bank's ATM. But still the charges are being levied i.e. 20 per transaction. Is this a fair policy? Why the decision of RBI has not been taken into consideration or why is it being altered?

We have ICICI Bank ATM near to our place but it is always out of service time to time. The reputed bank like ICICI has "out of service issue all the time????????????????????????????? VERY DISGUSTING.


Why I have to go to other tanks ATM Centre every time because of non functionality of ICICI Bank ATMs (ICICI ATM at Anandnagar, Paud Road, Besides Palavi Hotel, Pune - 411038). Though this ATM has 4 machines, this ATM centre is out of the service frequently ??????

IS IT A GAME BEING PLAYED WITH ACCOUNT HOLDERS?.... isn't there any permanent solution for this for future problems? are all the technical people associated with this issue, slept?

ICICI — charges for other ATM transactions

My name is Jaison , I am a current account holder of ICICI bank. unfortunately I don't have an ICICI atm at my place. For each and every transaction icici charging me Rs 20 on other bank atms. But when I started the account they said like 4 transactions are free at other atms on every month. please give me an advice to solve this problem.

    I am trying to access netbanking service from 23 july 2011. I am first time trying to use your net banking service. Ar First I contacted customer care to help me then they told me that my mobile number is not register even I was getting alerts on my mobile. Then they re register my mobile number for net banking.



    I tried to generate netbanking password online then it was showing error message regarding excess attempts and user ID disabled. I againg contacted customer care number and enabled my USER ID from IVR process. I tried again to generate my password for netbanking then I was showing error "Not possible for security reasons".



    I contacted customer care and told all this to Miss Arti, then she was not able to sort this problem and forward my call to Mr. Imtiaaz who told me that it will take more 7 days to generate password & insist me to request for mail that password ate my home address.



    Netbanking facility is to save time of consumer, but becuase of bad customer service support we are facing this type of problem.

    After 4 days I am not able to activate netbanking.

        Cr card no.[protected] my bill of rs.1496 was due on 15.07.2011 I tried my best to pay the bill online as I was paying since a long time approx 2 yr. By transfering funds from corporation bank th. Net banking. Now I am finding corp.bank in click to pay option at icici bank website. But I could,nt find the same. This not my fault. Icici had applied charges of rs.412 on my cr card. I am honestly paying icici payment in time since a long time. Now ultimately, I paid the payment by cheque of corp bank. Pls. Wave off my all charges so that I may continue ur cr. Card. Pls. Begin again net banking tfr. Facility th.corp.bank like previously. Thanks & regards

        i was using credit card of ICICI from very long time...
        i use o pay my bills usually by my savings account cheque.

        ICICI lost my chq once and asked me to give new one...
        i did so, after couple of month they found my old chq and send the same for clearing which got bounced as i was not aware that chq would com for clearing
        i was subsequently charged with lot of fees from ICICI and HDFC(with whom i have Savings account

        Once I was aware of these charges i asked ICICI to reverse the charges and compensate me with the charges of HDFC, which was not done which went for several months...

        I stopped using their card and also stopped there payments...


        after a yr or so they have leined my saving account with ICICI and have charged lot of late fees and all other stuff

        CAN ANYONE HELP ME HOW TO GET MY MONEY BACK SHOULD I CONTACT CONSUMER FORUM

          HI, i'm Nilesh
          I availed a vehicle loan and due to some personal reason i surrendered the vehicle to the bank authority. They returned all my EMI cheques but kept my security cheque with them which they promise to return after settlement of account. After selling the vehicle there was no outstanding against my loan account. But instead of returning the security cheque they produced the same in the bank and filled a case against me (non-bailable warrant) of bouncing the cheque. I produced the neccessary documents i.e NOC, ACCOUNT SETTLEMENT LETTER IN THE COURT WHICH FORCED THEM TO WITHDRAW THE CASE. Can any1 help me with their suggestion, i wanna strike back against this unethical business they are carrying out.

              It is been worst experience always with dealing in ICICI Bank. I had done all my payments towards my Credit outstanding. I had to receive excess amount which i paid to Bank. Now i have been following up with ICICI Bank for my Credit amount with is lying with the ICICI Bank. It has been now 1year 6 months after providing them with all proof of my excess amount lying with the Bank yet they are harssing me to give the same documents every time.

              I had even approcah the ICICI Bank personal but till date did not get my refund.

              I am seeking for help and advise all my time and money i have been spending behind this activity.

              More over i do not understand why i have to provide all proofs to get my Credit amount which is clearer showing in ICICI Bank statement the bank needs to be me back.

                    My name is Amit Sharma and I took a loan from ICICI Bank some 4 years back. I was paying the EMIs well but due to some financial crisis in the family, I could not pay my installments in time. Due to which the bank people came to my house and started harrsaing me. I requested them to stop it but they continued doing so. Then I changed my rented home and did not pay any installments. Now, after so much time these people have started doing the same. I told them that I am ready to do the settlement but I can not pay the total amount. I requested them to negotiate to some amount which is OK for both them and me. But they are adamant on it and have started coming to my office due to which I am in deep problems. I am at the verge of losing my job also.

                    Please suggest what do I do.

                      Respected Sir,

                      Respectfully, I wish to say that I had taken homeloan from ICICI HOMELOAN in jan 2006. Also I had submitted 36 PDC (POST DATED CHEQUES) of PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK OF RS 5812 (EMI) on demand of icici bank.. Till end of 2008 icici bank presented all the pdc and all the pdc were cashed, even single pdc was not bounced, then in last of 2008 again icici asked me to submit fresh 36 pdc, and as per demand of icici bank I submitted 36 pdc on[protected] to MR. SATISH CHOUDHARY OF ICICI BANK AT SONEPAT BRANCH OF AMOUNT 5812/ (EMI)receipt of same is lying with me mentioned all the cheques numbers on it. And problems start here only.

                      From[protected] to[protected] no pdc was presented although there was adequate fund in my account ( it can be checked from my bank account copy also)On[protected] two pdc were presented on same date and both were cashed.Again on[protected] two pdc were presented on same day and both were cashed. I reported this wrong practice of presentimg more than one pdc in one month to CAPT MANDEEP DAHIYA (MGR PANIPAT BRANCH) But again icici presented two pdc on same date and both were rejected and I was imposed penalty due to mistake of icici from both side.It is height of negligency when icici bank presented three pdc on[protected]. however these three pdc were also cashed from my account.This unlawful practice of icici presenting more than one pdc in same month kept going till SEPT 2009. From 17 january 2009 to 30 november 2009 (11 months) icici presented 18 pdc in 11 months. It is inspite of my more than hundred telephonic complaints not to present more than one pdc in one month. I am really sad and surprised to see the self style functioning of icici bank who claims to be highly professional bank at international level I think a RURAL BANK IS MORE PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL THAN THIS ICICI...........ICICIBANK IS HELPFUL ONLY TILL DISBURSMENT OF LOAN AFTER THAT ICICI STARTS TROUBLING AND COLLECTING MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS BY LEAGAL OR ILEAGAL WAYS.

                      Since last year I am in touch with icici bank and customer service of icici bank but no body is intrested to help me out . Also I had asked them to present balance pdc but after november 2009 they have not presented any pdc and my 16 pdc are lying balance with icici and my adequate balance is always there in my account.

                      AlsoI have asked icici bank to take balance dues (due to increased in amount of emi) from me without any penalty which was imposed on me due to presenting more than one pdc in one month (mistake of icici) It is mistake of icici bank to receive the pdc of 5812 Rs if amount of emi was increased, why I was not asked to issue fresh pdc of fresh emi amount and now icici is asking me to pay false overdues
                      as intrest on differntial amount of emi and other dues better known to bank only.

                      Now icici has sent me a letter 10 days back asking me to pay total outstanding due od Rs 905039.00(nine lacs) and icici has issued me a NOTICE under Section 13(2) of theSecuritisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of security intrest Act 2002.. Also bank is harassing me by claiming that my property will be MORTGAGED BY BANK as per directions of RESERVE BANK OF INDIA.
                      I AM NOT IN POSITION TO PAY THIS BIG AMOUNT OF 09 LACS AT ONCE AT ANY COST BUT I am ready to pay my net balance without any penalty due to mistake of icici by not presenting my balance pdc still lying with them and I am also ready to issue fresh pdc of fresh emi amount if my balance pdc are returned by icici.

                      Pse suggest me what should I do in such situation...... can icici bank MORTGAGE my property when I am not in mistake or without permision of court. In that condition I request honorable court to give me chance to prove my innocency by producing proof of mistakes of icici bank. A lso I have written to BOMBAY HEAD OFFICE OF ICICI BANK BUT THERE IS NO CO-ORDINATION OF BRANCH AND THERE IS NO USE OF COMPLANING AT PLATEFORM OF ICICI BANK . SOMETIME I AM TOLD TO SPEAK TO PANIPAT BRANCH AND SOME TIME I AM TOLD TO SPEAK TO KARNAL AND SOME TIME I AM TOLD TO SPEAK TO CHANIGARH I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHERE I SHOULD APPROACH AND WHOM SHOULD I APPROACH EVERYBODY TELLS DIFFERENT STORY.

                      S IR I REQUEST YOU TO SOLVE MY PROBLEMS AT EARLIEST .

                          Rrespected sir,

                          I withdrew Rs. 10000/ fro Rajendra Place, New Delhi, ATM on 18.07.2011 around 4.00 P.M. but received only Rs.9500/- (500X18+100X5) i.e. Rs.500/-. I could not lodge complaint on[protected]/41718000 as suitable menu could not be located.I used my sbi debit card. As no slip came out, I am not aware of trasaction number/ATM ID etc. My mobile Number is [protected]

                              On June 26th I went to METRO on Kankpura road. There were 2 ATM's were side by side. One of Stanchart and another of ICICI bank. when i tried to insert my card in ICICI ATM , i found that the card was not going inside and the security told me it is not working. immediatly i inserted my card in adjacent Stanchart ATM and entered the PIn and collected Rs 2500. The moment i did this I got a SMS saying that i Rs 6000 withdrawn from my account. once i reached home i found that there were 2 transactions. One for Rs 2500 and another one from ICICI. This was a shocker as i did not even inserted the card inside the machine. I complained this to IDBI (My bank which issued the card) and after 10 days they got back to me saying that ICICI rejected my application saying that the money has been collected. I am still pursuing this as I found recently on your site another Gentleman from Hosur claiming that ICICI has done the same.

                              WRONG FUL DEDUCTION OF RS 10,000/- FROM SBI ACCOUNT NO[protected] ON 06 JUN 11 IN RESPECT OF COLONEL DINESH KUMAR TIWARI .
                              Dear Sir ,
                              1. I am SBI defence salary account holder no [protected] account type as SBCHQ-DSP-PUB IND-DIAMOND-INR from Rangiya Branch Assam since 2008. I was issued with SBI GOLD card no[protected] 0300 . I am now posted in Army Headquarters in Delhi since Dec 2010.
                              2. On 6th June 2011 at around 2100 hours I visited ICICI ATM at Gopinath Bazar , Delhi Cantt with ATM ID No S10s[protected]. There are two machines in this particular ATM , one is just on entry and one is after that inside. I inserted the card in the inner machine. This machine did not have fast cash option and I accidently keyed RS 10,000/- and then cancelled it. I then keyed in Rs 1000/- . There was no money in the ATM and no money was dispensed.
                              3. I then visited another machine ie HDFC ATM machine ID S1ANDH21 in Gopinath Bazar 100 meters away and took out Rs 2000/- by the same ATM card. The slip of Rs 2000/- is attached below.
                              4. On 10th June 2011 in my statement of accounts of SBI acoount no[protected] I noticed the debit of Rs 10,000/- of 06th June 2011 where as in reality I had got no money.The statement is attached below.
                              5. I immediately reported the matter to SBI customer care and was given ticket no AT [protected] on 10 June 2011 I was told that no FIR is required to be lodged and the money will be reverted/ credited back. On 24 June 2011 I contacted SBI main Branch Guwahati and was told that ICICI has responded saying that the transaction was valid and the money was actually dispensed. This is not correct.
                              6. I request you to investigated again and help me in getting my hard earned money refunded.
                              7. Following may please be found out and informed to me -
                              (a) Was there cash available on 06th June 2011 at around 2100 h in ICICI ATM machine at Gopinath Bazar , Delhi Cantt with ATM ID No S10s[protected].
                              (b) What is the transaction time which is shown against wrong transaction of mine of Rs 10,000/- from ATM machine ICICI ATM at Gopinath Bazar , Delhi Cantt with ATM ID No S10s[protected] on 06 th June 2011.
                              8. I insist and again reiterate that the transaction of Rs 10,000/- shown against my ATM card is not correct. And the same should be refunded back to me.

                              ICICI Bank — WRONG ATM TRANSACTION DEBIT

                              MY ACCOUNT WAS DEBITED WORTH INR 15000.00 ON[protected] THAT I HAVE WITHDRAWN THE AMOUNT FROM ATM IN BANGALORE. I HAVENT EVEN TRIED FOR THIS AMOUNT. I TRIED FOR INR 2000.00 WHICH I RECEIVED. BUT THAN, AFTER 1.5 MINUTE, MY ACCOUNT WAS DEBITED WITH INR 15000.00

                              CUSTOMER CARE, IN REPLY OF MY COMPLAIN, INSISTED THAT THE TRANSACTION IS SUCCESSFUL. ON MY REQUEST, THEY FAIL TO FETCH THE CCTV FOOTAGE. I HAVE BEEN VICTIMIZED BECAUSE OF THEIR SYSTEM FAULT.

                              KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL TO GIVE ME JUSTICE AND MY MONEY BACK, AS I AM SUFFERING A LOT DUE TO FINANCIAL STRAIN.

                                    I had already made the full and final payment of settelment for rupees Six Thousand on 25 Sept 2009 and the loan account number was LIMUM[protected] now since two month from now I have started receiving call from the ICICI asking for the payment of the dues.

                                    I helped them with the Ref # DSMG/MBL/0909/997 dt 8th Sept 2009 but still getting calls fro the settlement.

                                    They have also sent me an legal notice for the same.

                                    Its really frustrating please help
