Dear Sir/Madam,

My complaint is regarding the faulty credit card bill that i have recieved from ICICI bank, despite my best efforts to clarify my stand regarding this they have not cooperated and keep sending me the statements with surcharged and interest because of which it has become a huge amount, although i have not used the card since past 4 years, I have even approached some years back for final settlement but they were unwilling to listen, please look into the matter and resolve it as soon as possible.

I ISSUED A CHEQUE FOR AN AMOUNT OF RS 9281/ TOWARDS NOVEMBER 2008 ICICI CREDIT CARD BILL PAYMENT. THE SAME WAS DEBITED FROM OUR ACCOUNT ON 16 DECEMBER 2008. THE ICICI BANK ACKNOWLEDGED THE PAYMENT IN DEC 2009 BILL. IN MARCH 2009 BILL STATEMENT IT WAS PROJECTED THAT I OWE ICICI BANK THIS AMOUNT OF 9281/- ALONG WITH PENAL INTEREST. I FAXED ICICI BANK THE UCO BANK STATEMENT SHOWING THE DEBIT OF THE SAID AMOUNT FROM OUR ACCOUNT. THE ICICI BANK IS NOT TAKING COGNISANCE OF THIS AND HAS BEEN LEVYING ME PENAL CHARGES AND INTEREST OVER THIS AMOUNT WHICH HAS BEEN MOUNTING IN EVERY NEXT BILL STATEMENT, INSPITE OF REPEATED REQUESTS LODGED AT THE ICICI CUSTOMER CARE CELL.
I REQUEST THE CONSUMER PROTECTION FORUM TO INTERVENE FOR REDRESSAL OF MY GRIEVANCES

I took the credit card from ICICI Bank on 29 May 2007 for membership no : [protected] with credit limit 13, 000/- Cash withdrawn limit : 2, 600/- and second card with membership no : [protected] for same credit limit. I did not use the card for a single transaction. They are unused till its expiry but unfortunately bank issued the insurance policy without any confirmation from our side and drawn the policy.
They deducted and adjusted the policy premium in the card at there end and now they asked me for the payment of Rs. 25000/- and called me and talk roughly for that. I did not use it and now CIBIL report shows my name.I didnt use the card so how can i pay it. The
card is in packed condition as it reached. I am not ready to pay and want to withdraw the name from CIBIL.

If this is case I would like to proceed via CONSUMER COURT INDIA as bank don't have any right to ask for single rupees extra and treat customer like this .

    I have availed home loan from ICICI bank ( LBMUM[protected]) on floating rates in Sep 2004. Bank gave me loan @ 6.95% floating rates. Bank subsequently increased the rates. Subsiquently when the interest rates came down they brought down the interest rates up to 11.5% when they were giving fresh loans on 8.5%. When I enquiered with the bank for decreasing the interest rate atleast upto 8.5% they did not agreed.

    I arranged to per pay my loan in the month of march 2010 from my oun sources. Though the bank has mentioned in the approval letter that no partprepayment penality will be applicable they charged me a panality of 2.21%.

    My request in case of floating rates the rates should also be brought doun in the similar manner in which the rates has been increased.

    Secondly why prepayment penality is charged though they have mentioned no prpayment part payments.

      I had a credit card with ICICI Bank and I have already fully and finally settled with them and also they have issue a no due certificate accordingly. I beg to state that it is still showing a negetive marking for which I am unable to avail any loan from any other Bank.

      Kindly look into the matter sympathetically and do the needful at your earliest

      That before 10 day i received a cover through courier in which obne credit card was enclosed.

      That I have never beg for credit card facility.
      That I dont think i need Icici Bank credit card even i[censored] have send me credit card.
      Today I received a messange on my mobile that my Bill is generated and and Rs.748.55 is due on 17th may.
      THAT I DONT WANT CREDIT CARD FACILITY AND TERMINATE MY CREDIT CARD FACILITY WITH EFFECT FROM THIS MAIL.

        Dear Sir
        I have taken ICICI 2 wheeler loan. Account no is LTMUM[protected] before 2 years back. What ICICI agent did he made loan on my fathers name and he is no more. I have RC book and insurance on my name . I even told this when I got first reciept of loan statment But agent said that there will not be any problem for NOC.
        Now My loan is paid completely on 10 april 2010 and ICICI bank refused to give me NOC ; they are blaming bike dealer.they are suggesting me to transfer my bike on fathers name which will cost me 3500 + insurance. again father is no more so I have to transfer it on my name costing me again same. What is my mistake??? What should I do??? please guide me.

        I cleared my emis on the prescribed month itself and asked NOC from ICICI bank they are claimimg about some dues and not giving NOC what i can do in this case.i got a buyer to buy the vehicle also.

        Hello,

        I had taken a loan against scoty pep+ around 3 to 4 years back, but not yet received the original papers or NOC back from the bank. They had asked me to approach the branch in Kothrud where I was asked to fill a Form and I shall receive documents which I have not yet received.

        Thereafter I moved out of town and when I have returned I realized no one has received the original papers yet... Can you please help me out how to get the same.

            I had used my ICICI Bank credit card in April 2006 for Rs.50,000/-. After that due to some financial situation i pay monthly an amount of Rs.2500/- till November 2009. After paying all these years the present balance due is Rs.46000/-. In 2007, i requested the bank to make this to EMI or give a personal loan so that i can repay all the dues monthly and close the dues. But the bank told if i want to close i need to pay 43000/- in one instalment to close this otherwise they can consider giving me 2 instalment and not more. Since i was not in a position to pay that much amount at that time, i continued paying only the regular payment of Rs.2500. Again in November 2009, as i was not in a job i requested the bank for the settlement of the dues. The bank again told me, i have to pay Rs.38,000/- in a single payment for closing the same. Since this is also beyond my reach and i was also not in a position to pay the regular minimum dues also.

            In january one of their collection agent came to my house asking for the same and i told him the same that i need 12 EMI or one time settlement of a reduced amount. The executive told me that his manager will call me and went. Afterwards there was no calls.

            Subsequently the bank has created a lien against my credit card dues in my savings account and blocked the same.

            In March end i got a call from one lady collection executive, i repeated the above then she connected me to her manager and whom after discussions told he will call back after confirming with his higher ups. In the meantime one of the collection agents, by name Mr.Venugopal came to my house and as I was not there he called my mobile and started talking very roughly as if I had absconded without updating my whereabouts with the bank & he found out my whereabout after much research & told me to meet him & pay the minimum dues immediately or he knows how to collect it from me.After I conveyed that I spoke to Mr.Kripa, he went back. Since I had a banking relationship with ICICI bank for more than 15 years (when it was Bank of Madura itself) & all my banking accounts, loan accounts, Credit cards & insurance/Demat account are with ICICI Bank, I update my phone number & addresses regularly as and when I change them for which I have an acknowledgement also. Again after a day on 26/03/2010, Mr. Kripa called me and told that I have to pay in one or two EMI the principal due of Rs.36,000/- immediately. I have told my inability for the same and told him that I can able to arrange a loan of Rs.20,000/-, which I can remit if they are ready to settle my dues. Then after long discussions he told me he will put up a request for a settlement of Rs.30,000 in 4 EMIs and based on that approval it can be discussed further.

            On 28th March one Mr.Pradeep pathak from the bank called me and told that a request has come and asked me why the bank has to give a discount. He told me that previously the bank used to settle the disputes for higher discounted rates but now he cannot able to reduce beyond Rs.36000/-. Then I conveyed to him all my conversations & relationship till date with the bank and also requested him to check my record with the bank. He after checking told me that since I had not used the card after 2006 & paying an average amount of Rs.2200/- for the past 4 years he told me that he will reduce it to Rs.32000/- and the same needs to be paid in 3 EMIs. I once again told him that due to my present situation it is not possible to commit for that much of a huge monthly payment and requested for further reduction. He told me otherwise to pay the minimum amount due for which I told him clearly if I pay that then I will be forced to pay the same throughout my life. Then he told me to have a rethinking and reply back to him by giving his phone number and email ID or otherwise other actions will follow he told. That day also I was not in my house and I was outside. My wife and my 15 month old kid only were in the house. Within minutes after I spoke with Mr.Pradeep, the collection executive Mr.Venugopal went to my house and asked for the money to my wife. From there again Mr.Venugopal called my mobile and asked for Rs.36000 immediately. I told him that I am already in conversation with Mr. Pradeep and Mr.Kripa and he need not talk to me. He started shouting at me on top of his voice and told me till I pay he will not go from my house. I immediately tried to call Mr. Kripa & Mr. Pradeep . In the meantime Mr.venugopal continuosly tried my mobile continuously and also started shouting at my wife & kid who are alone. My wife called me and told that the person is shouting and abusing in the house and he has told that till we pay him he will not move from the place.

            I immediately called once again Mr. Venugopal and told him that I am liable to ICICI Bank for my credit card dues and in no way my wife or my kid or concerned with the dues, and told him not to abuse them in my absence. Since I could not able to reach mr. pradeep, I tried Kripa and told that I will come in the evening near the bank call him & till such time Mr. Venugopal should not disturb the ladies or kid in the house. Also conveyed them that if the bank is going to use such measures for collection, I would rather pay it in the court of law. I told him that if they want they can take the matter legally and not in this unethical measures.

            The after so much of request from their managers Mr. Venugopal left my house. In the evening I could able to reach near the bank by about 7.30 pm only. When I called Mr.Kripa he told me that he is in driving and will call me back in a few minutes. In a few minutes I got the call from Mr. Venugopal instead of Mr.Kripa and he started threatening me to pay minimum amount of 9500 or 36000 immediately or otherwise he will use his own ways to collect the same from me. I told him that I can’t pay the amount and I told him to come to the nearest police station the next day morning to meet me & do me whatever he wants. Also told him that he should not disturb my house members for the same. But the next day morning I waited for him for more than 2 hours and he didn’t turned up. I called his mobile, first 4 calls he told me that he was on his way and after that he never picked up my calls. Afterwards I called Mr.Kripa and told the same and requested him not to disturb my house members by sending somebody else.

            After that time nobody has come to my house or no one has called me. Now after this bitter experience I have started closing all the relationship with ICICI Bank from all kinds of insurance accounts, bank and related accounts. As the same would have already been reported in CIBIL, I am sure that for another 10 year I am not eligible for any kind of loan from any bank.

            But now I would like to close this credit card account some way and I cant afford to pay that much of an amount in full one shot. Please help in solving this issue.

            This is bad. We need to stand by and take action against ICICI bank. Or else this will never stop. Put an FIR. Record there calls without informing the other person u r doing so. Thats hard evidence of abuse. You can sue the Bank with that kind of conversation and Venugopal will be out of his job for ever and behind Bars.

                Please refer to the subject "cheque lost on bond redeemption" wherein, the bond with the numbers between (71194 to 71199) has got red empted on 11th March 2010 and subsequently a sum of Rs. 39,100/- has been sent to me as a payment.

                Further to inform you that the S.B. account for realizing payment earlier mentioned in your records has been closed at my end and now the cheque has been presented by my representative without knowing the details into my Standard chartered Bank’s account. Hence, the cheque has been returned by you and Standard chartered Bank had retained the cheque with them in their central repository which is at Dubai right now.

                However, a copy of the cheque details and return memo has been attached with this mail for your immediate reference.

                  first employee calls on my phone and tells about ICICI insurance scheme in marathi language. so i replied back saying that sorry i dont understand marathi language and i am not interested in insurance policy. later, i dont know who gave the employee that authority to argue me back saying "WHEN WILL YOU LEARN MARATHI LANGUAGE", thats really embarrasing for banks like ICICI bank.

                          I am sending this mail to you with deep anguish. I have a demat account no. IN[protected][protected] with ICICI Bank (ICICIdirect.com). I have two portfolios with this demat account, one for equity and another for mutual funds. After shifting to Kolkata I applied to ICICIdirect office (Lake Town, Kolkata Branch) for changing my address and link new bank account. Accordingly, the address and bank account had been updated in my profile and in case of equity portfolio, dividends and other communications are being received at the new address and in the new bank account. However, recently I came to know that in case of mutual fund, ICICI did not change my address and bank details. As a result I am not getting dividends and other communications. I am writing to them from 26th March 2010 but so far nobody replied nor the address and bank account has been changed.
                          I request you to take up with ICICI Bank( ICICIdirect.com) to resolve this problem.

                                misusing of credit card-ICICI-VISA type. — Requesting not to release of payment

                                Dear Sir/Madam
                                I, Dr. Milind M. Vaidya, Vice Principal, Smt. CHM College, Ulhasnagar, am the holder of ICICIBank Credit CardNumber [protected].My residential address is 101, Serron Villa, Opp Dagadi School, Charai, Thane W-400602.
                                I received a phone call from ICICI Bank Credit Card dept. that on 23rd June a transaction of abt 1400 odd US Dollars was made by using my credit card through Internet.and Bank confirmed from me whether the transaction was truly made by me, for which I immediately told that NO Such transaction was made by me and further added that, my last use of Credit Card ids on 22nd May 2008. In fact only 2 transactions were made by me in May 2008, 18/5/2008-Rs1012.70 and 22/5/2008-Rs. 647/-

                                I have lodged FIR with Naupada Police Station Thane on 1st July 2008mentioning above details.
                                Meanwhile I request you Not to release any payment for any transaction made on this card, as such this card stands Blocked.

                                ICICI Bank — Premium Paid from Credit Card without Intimation

                                ICICI Bank automatically deducted 50,000 INR from my account towards premium payment for one of my ICICI Lifetime Gold policy. I had never opted for an automatic deduction and was not in a position to pay the premium this time, in such a scenario this is totally illegal for the bank to automatically pay the premium. Moreover, I wasn't informed about the same for two months and once the minimum amount due was not paid then I was told that 50,000 Rs. are due to be paid. This is totally unprofessional behavior from the bank. I would prefer if the bank keeps it's banking activities separate from it's other activities like Life Insurance and should not take actions like premium payment at it's own will. Otherwise tomorrow bank will deduct any arbitrary amount from my account for one of my mutual funds which I won't be interested in investing any further.

                                Moreover, when bank people can call numerous times for selling various services can't they even call or contact me by mail even once before paying the premium? On top of that lots of late fine and few other charges have been levied on me. I have suffered severe inconvenience because of this surprising act by the bank and somehow arranged for the money to do this credit card repayment. Therefore I request you to look into this issue and take appropriate action.

                                  dear sir,i am holding a credit card of icici and i was regualrly paying the min amount,still nov09,when it was not possible for me to pay the min amount ,collection people called me for payment i made req to settele for the amount by giving some discount that time the o/s was 45000 only,after that some one called and and told me that they can settle for the amt of 32000 ,that i have to pay in 2 installmets,after he played a game that i have to clear the min due and after that they are going to settele that,i made req again pls get me the settelment letter and collect the chq.after that there is no resopnse from bank.in last month some one called from bank and asked for the payment and eaplained the same thing.when the time of making the settelment req it was 45000 now it became 57000 and they suddenly blocked my savings acconut without any kind information,i had been to atm cenetr to draw money it was very urgent situation,wife was in hospital.it was showing negative balance.
                                  what i have to in this situation is that correct form bank people to block the account without any information.now also i am ready to pay for the settele the amount for 32000.by this month end.do they rights to block my saving account without any kind information.pls help me out to unblock the account and to use my amount .and suggest me how to settle this issue

                                  For the past 2 years I am using EMI card(Rs. 2000) . Last year due to Job crisis I am unable to pay my 01 month premium and in very next month paid Rs 2000 . After putting late payments like 300, 600, 1000 not it becomes 4545. But last 2 months I am chasing with Customer call centre for this clearance. But no proper response from their side. ATlast Last month before due date I again contact the call centre for this settlement. They told our settlement person will contact U with in five days. Still I have not received a single call than fresh statement.

                                  pl look at this matter and do the needful.

                                  I also conformed with that executive for further late fee, he says they don't put .

Bank has forwarded redemption form requesting to take the option of getting the amount credited by ECS furnishing the bank account reference. Accordingly I hv submitted the form duly certified by my Banker HSBC and posted the redemption form 10 days ago.                                     I had submitted redemption form (serial no: 2929051) on 1st February 2010 at ICICI Bank (Chowrangi branch, Kolkata) but so far I have not received neither my money nor any communication from ICICI.

                                    First reminder was given on 26th March 2010, but nobody bothered to revert. Again on 17th April 2010 another reminder was given but to no avail. I contacted the customer-care regarding the same but it seems people out there are only for the sake of being there. No action was taken.

                                    ICICI being such a highly esteemed institution, this kind of service is something which is not only awful but also highly unexpected.

                                    I request you to please credit the invested amount along with the interest for delay at the earliest. To avoid further delay, please take necessary steps and revert back immediately.

                                      This is with regards to my Personal loan(LPBNG[protected]) that I had taken in 2007 july for 271000. and was also told that I will have an Insurance against the loan, incase I Loose my Job I dont have to worry. Since I am not in a position to visit the branch, sent an email
                                      I had sent an email regarding my Loan - stating that I want to close my loan as I am out of Job due to the Recession, and I want to know what is the Amount I have to pay, I have a very good credit history, as I had taken the 2 wheelers loan, i cleared without any delay, I had taken the Personal Loan and I paid till January, with lot of difficulties, I got married in July and I have no jobs but still I paid the loan till January, After that I sent an email to the branch manager through Online and i didnot get any response - I ended up paying the loan for February, Later I got the details from the Branch As to how much I should Pay, I had sent several mails and I have the proof, requesting for the negotiation of the amount, I paid 32 instalment for 7405/- Now I want to close this loan, since I have already paid so much interest I am not in a position to pay the interest anymore, and request you to help me for the negotiation,
                                      DAY BY DAY THE INTEREST IS ADDING ON BECAUSE ICICI BANK IS NOT RESPONDING AND THERE IS A DELAY IN THE SERVICE.

                                      I was asked to contact the branch of ICICI BANK LTD., 1st Floor, West Wing, Euphoria, Mytree Towers, # 4/10, Besides Oxford Dental & Engineering College, Hosur Road, Bommannahalli, Banglore - 560 068, Inspite of me telling I will not be able to visit the branch, I can visit the branch in november - if the bank is willing to wait till november without adding any late fee on the loan or interest.
