    ICICI Tax Saving Bond- Two — Non Payment on maturity

    I purchased ICICI Tax Saving Bond-022005-TSB-Two
    Bond Holder number[protected]
    Name of bond holder Narender Singh Kohli
    Distinctive Number[protected]
    Due for redemption April-2010
    Payment is not received so far at the address given at the time of purchase of bonds.
    In May 2010, I approached ICICI bank Jalandhar in May 2010 and at their advice, gave a letter for early redemption of the bonds including details of my current address and bank details with one crossed cheque.
    Today,on 10.7.2010 I again approached ICICI bank Jalandhar and met dealing executive Mr Chatanya, who after enquiry informed that the redemption cheque number 001735 Dt 8.4.2010 was issued on 8.4.2010 and gave me format of indemity bond to be submitted along with stamp duty of Rs 200/-. In this connection this is to submit that
    1 Onus of safe delivery of the said cheque is with the bank.
    2 The said cheque has never been received by me. If considerd otherwise,the bank is required to produce proof of its receipt.
    3 Since I have already intimated the bank about non receipt of the issued cheque, the bank is required to take immediate steps to stop payment of the said cheque.
    4 It is unjust to force me to sign any one sided agreement making me liable for erronus payment by bank if any.

      Dear Sir/ Madam,

      I had opened a new ATS(Active Trader Service) account with ICICI on 15th march 2010 bearing the application number [protected].

      I received a letter stating that the trading account is active and to contact the relationship manager.

      My relation ship manager started trading on this account but after purchasing some sharesm he stopped calling me and my 1.5lak is now stuck. I also did not receive the login details for the demat account and when I tried to reach ICICI customer care they advised that they do not support this product. Im calling the sales executive in vain and not able to reach him. they do not pick up the call.

      Today Im in between the devil and deep blue sea with no one from ICICI responding to my calls or emails.

      ICICIdirect ATS is a service handled by brokers who do not know what they are doing. They initially tell you that there will be financial planning etc. However your broker just calls you for giving buy and sell calls.

      The customer service sucks. Repeated calls and mails have yielded no response.

      Please avoid this service.
      I am having similar horrendous experiences with ATS service. Basically there is NO SERVICE. Its been 4 months that they r trying to open this account. still no luck. and no one in the team knows the rules and terms. Every one tells a different story. STAY AWAY FROM THIS
      We had similar experience. The person involved in Anant Agarwal, Manager & Gurpreet both operating from Indore.
      I suspect they are asking clients to buy stocks which they know are going down due to upcoming envents like interest rate hike, demand slow down etc.
      Majority of their calls went wrong and i have a strong suspecion of major irregularities in terms duping investors.
      Does any one know how to approach SEBI to lodge a complaint to investigate them.
      I do agree with the statements "Everyone tells a different story" And asked to buy stocks when they are going down or vice verse.Equity advisers only follow the advise from their so called research team and are not at all experienced.Ones you join all the pro misses disappear in thin air. Their brokerages are very high. tips and calls are horrible. 8 out of ten times you will be in profit if you just do the opposite. Even if the tips are correct, by the time you get the call share will be in the reverse direction and you will end up buying the share at high price of the day.One adviser caters to many clients, hence when your turn comes it will be too late. It is a service where you will loose and company gains.By following their advice I am only making ICICI richer at the expense of my hard earned money and peas of mind.Even if you want to withdraw you will not get back your brokerage paid in advance. You are struck with them till you exhaust one lac brokerage paid in advance.

      My name is Dr. Shohan Hegde My ATS CL ID is [protected]. I am having demat account with ICICI securities since many years.Due to my duty timings i was not able to use their trading service.During August month I received a call from my relationship manager Ms.Yamini, asking for the reason for not trading. When i explained my problem, she said that there is a service specially made for people like me who are busy during trading hours.Experts will; manage my portfolio and give tips which are 95%accurate. trading will be done by equity adviser specially designated to me. Initially everything went on well, after a month when I realized that i have paid brokerage more than what i earned, they suggested to pay Rs. 110300as advance brokerage and service tax so as to get the benefit of reduced brokerage and racer software through witch i can trade by myself if needed.with the help of the expert advise from the equity adviser as well as from their expert team from Mumbai.Today I realized that 95% of the tips are only way to make profit not for you but for ICICI.Tips are coming only from their Equity adviser repeated from the tips available on their web site.After a month even the tips have become scarce. Everybody you contact assures better service but you will never get one.I am only loosing money by following their advise given now and then. Even I am not allowed to come out till the advance brokerage is exhausted. I am still to get the password for racer software. My original right to trade has been taken away.Neither they are calling me nor I am able to trade. If I do not trade I will loose my advance brokerage.If you complain they say you yourself can call and place orders if you don't receive the call from the equity adviser, forgetting completely the very purpose of joining this scheme. Now I am in a most precarious situation and completely at their mercy.

      I also face similar issues. Intialy 2-3 times i got call from ATS desk and afther then its been 2 month thre is no call. I also don't know where to reach them. They provide only email id. Can someone provide ATS desk contact numbers ?

        I purchased bond from you and on maturity you have deducted 20% TAX AT SOURCE although PAN card xerox copy and form 15G submitted to you through courier on 26.03.2010 (received by you.). This is supposed to be TAX saving Bond and NOT Extra Tax deducting bond. Please look into the matter and send me the amount deducted as Tax at the earliest and close the chapter.

          ICICI Bank Ltd. — Giving wrong information about Facility

          Dear Concern,

          I have an salary account (A/C No[protected] with ICICI Bank and as per information given by Relationship Manager (Name - Puneet Sharma, e-mail ID - sharma.[protected]@icicibank.com)

          1. we can use any visa ATM for transaction without any charges, but when i use any other visa atm to withdraw some money Rs. 20/- is deducting from my a/c.

          2. there will be no any debit card charges but bank are charging Rs. 111/- as a debit card charges & the worst part is - they are charging twice in a year for the same.

          for all the problem which i am facing called up and sent an e-mail also to Mr. Puneet Sharma but he is not responding on either e-mail or phone and every time he is giving wrong information about facility.

          Request you to please help me in this case as the Relationship Manager is not able to help me out

            Dear Sir, I have an saving cum demat account no.[protected] in icici bank which is not operating by me due to illegal deductons made by the bank as not maintainning Rs,10000/- balance. Although bank is aware that zero balance can be maintained by a demat account holdereven than the bank is deducting amount illegally. The bank has no proper system, working in the air. However, no guidlines have been issued to the bank employees. The bank is simply deducting the amount on no basis. Kindly help me to get my money back.

            I fully agree with Mr. Vinod Khanna. Sir, ICICI bank has no morale. The bank is perfact in steeling amount from the account holders. I am also facing the same problems. The bank has deducted amt. since I am not having any record as no statement is being sent to me. I have noticed about the deductions during share trading online. Please help me also. Thanks.

            Sir, Icici bank has not reversed the balanced amount in his account no.[protected] till date. The bank is expertised in deducting amount from A/c holders account. The bank has lost its image, no morale and working without system. Only, demat business of icici is running that will also be closed shortly due to heavy brokerage being charged. On date, it is a very hopless bank. Thanks.

            Sir, There is no effect on icici bank since it has decided to disappear from india. The bank is loosing its image day by day. A/c holders have lost their faith on this bank. Poor system.

            Sir, Icici bank is one of the hopeless bank. One should not deal with this bank. It is basically cheating poor account holders by deducting illegal amount. Mr.Vinod khanna is a victom, cannot fight with bank for the amount deducted illegally from his account due to supports of rich people and political field.
            SIR, ICICI Bank has repeated again and deducted Illegal QAB charges from Vinod khanna account no[protected] on 13/09/2010. It is totally a cheat with the demat account holders. Basically, Icici bank is a begger bank. However, the bank has no morale. POOR SHOW.

            Sir, I am surprised to note that illegal deductions is being made by airtel prepaid service in the name of MATRIMONY ALERTS. Perhapes airtel company is sinking, However that is the best way to collect money from poor prepaid mobile user.I tried to stop the unwanted alerts but failed.
            It is to be stoppped these type of nonsense messages and not to be deducted amount. I will request airtel to refund my amount . Thanks

              Hi,

              DMAT account charges were debited through my saving banka ccount using auto debit feature and per my understanding bank can only use this if customer have provided his approval and since bank did this without conveying any correspondence so it shows wea internal controls. Moreover if i would have recd any notification, i would have closed the dmat account.

              Would appreciate your help in getting the charges reversed and also advise about the auto debit policy.

                How you may find the address of theft person?

                The person who has perchaged a mobile from One mobile shop, they must have the address of the same person with currect location.
                Because if a shopkeeper like ONE MOBILE Shop do not note the name and address of the person, means it is a violation for the National Security reason.
                So any how you people may take a legal acction and recover the money.

                As Delhi Govt. need the registration of each mobile hand set so ONE MOBILE shop can not sail the mobile without registring the hand set.

                The Service provider who has provided the Sim-Card(Subcriber Identity Mobile Card) must have to register the handset id, while dialing to some one else.
                So the Service provider of SIM has the real address of the thief.

                  I have got ICICI Travel card which i was using since 2008 .I had balance of 560 USD in my Travel card and ICICI has flagged the money from my card and without my knowledge has refunded the money to their agent and now ICICI is washing their hand by telling that the Zuari forex who was the dealer who has
                  issued me the card on their behalf has withdraw the money and you should contact to them but zuari forex is now taking me into cool ride and denying the refund as they are telling me that their agent has run away with the money and they are investigating the matter.

                  How am i concern with this ? if their person has run away. THERE IS NO OFFICIAL COMPLAINT against their employee.

                  Can you please guide me for this . where to file written complaint .

                  I have got few more people who is suffering with the same complaint . I am sure this is very big fraud than we have imagine.

                    I have a Policy of ICICI Prulife Ins no 11994140 for the half yearly premium of 25,000/-. In October’09 again Mr Siddharth Malhotra with fraud Name called on my mobile no [protected] and told to pay early premium of Rs 25000/- to get advantage of incentive bonus for my same policy no 11994140 on dt. 22/10/2009.

                    But after paying the amount of Rs. 25000/- by cheque no 032930 BOB HNR dtd 20/10/09 for continuing my policy no 11994140 , I received a un wanted new policy of no 12760770 from the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. for that I can’t pay more, being a salary person. I want to cancel policy no 12760770 that is issued to me by misguiding.

                    you can do it within 15 days of receiving new policy under the clause FREELOOK PERIOD...and now, always remember to write your policy number, name, and telephone number when depositing cheques for renewal premium ;-)
                    misselling of ICICI Policies
                    I have a Policy of ICICI Prulife Ins no 12326648 in the name of Annie and pol no. 12354015 in the name of Angeilo yearly premium of Rs.300000/=and Rs.98000/= respectively i was being missold the above policies. When the above policies was sold to me it was told that it is a single premium policybut after one month when i received the policy docuements I found is was not the single premium plan but was a regular premiun plan. It is difficult to stay for 5 years, I asked them to cancel the policy since i did not liked it, they took the docuements for cancellation and thereafer took no action.
                    They gave me tickets for singapore trip when i took the policy and the agreement was on icici letter head.
                    I personally visited the icici prudential office at jm road and met mr.vishwajeet along with mr. ajit and suresh and afer discussion they said that they will convert it into single premiun which they have not done to date, and also at the same time they have admitted their faullt have misold the policy.
                    Kindly look into the matter and take necessary action.

                      I have taken home Loan from ICICI Bank .They sanctioned the loan on 15/12/06 at 9% They disbursed the loan on 18/01/2007 at 9.5% though it was sanctioned at 9% . We were informed that since it is floating rate interest rate will decreased even below the sanctioned interest rate.
                      However ICICI Bank kept on increasing interest rate heavily in 9 months to 13% by September 2007 in a gap of 2 to 3 months .They are charging High interest rate as well the amount toward principal deduction is very less. As the amount of deduction of Principal is less, ICICI Bank is earning money by charging us interest on the remaining amount which is very higher because of less amount of deduction towards Principal and also increasing the tenure period of repayment loan.
                      ICICI bank is imposing high interest rate on other hand asking their customer to adopt their scheme by paying conversion fee to reduce the interest rate which is also not guaranteed.
                      ICICI Bank is offering home loan around 8% to new customers but those who are existing customers ICICI bank is taking advantage of them by recovering high interest rate
                      ICICI bank decides PLR by themselves to be applied for existing customer which is different from RBI PLR.
                      I am salaried person and my EMI payment is through my salary .I am facing heavy Financial burden .I do not have any other source of income
                      I have sent many Emails to ICICI customer care and as well to Deputy General Manager but I have not received any satisfactory reply
                      Kindly take necessary action from your end to save us from heavy financial burden of high interest rate from ICICI

                          I am an account holder of ICICI Bank since 2002. Recently as there was some verification required to be done by IDBI Bank where I have applied for a Housing Loan, I requested ICICI BANK (on their website) to provide me an e-statement on my mail ID (same as I have given here) registered with them. On the same mail ID I receive my credit card statements (ICICI card) and also my saving bank account statements from time to time. But since the period for which the statement was required pertained to 01-04-07 to 31-03-09 I made this special request.

                          I was assigned a No. vide SR[protected]. All this about 15 days back. I was also advised to put up a voice call on their local call centre to get my Mail ID and DOB verified, which I dutifully did, but instead of providing me the statement they are making me move in circles. Just I am attaching herewith the entire mail trail for better appreciation.

                          These guys are a bunch of bluff-masters and bull-[censored]ers. Possibly because they have good rapport with powers that be in Finance Ministry and Reserve Bank they get away with their bloody actions. Fed up with their attitude and several such issues, I was compelled to shift my salary account operation to Standard Chartered bank. ICICI Bank in my opinion is worse than any other bank or financial institution in our country.

                              Hi Respected Sir,

                              I had visited Sweden on 3rd January till 16th February for Business reasons on behalf of my company Datamatics Ltd. Andheri.
                              They had provided me with an ICICI Prepaid Euro card with an 1175 Euros topped up via GreenChannel.

                              I checked my account on 8th Feb and found 10 ATM withdrawal transactions done as shown on my online account.This was shocking as the card was in my pocket at that time and the place of transaction showed as somewhere in Bulgaria.

                              I had reported this immediately since i never visited this country and I have my passport as a matter of fact.They blocked my card and after coming back to India on 17th Feb (GreenChannel asked )ICICI bank to raise a chargeback request to Visa adn asked me to wait for 45 days.
                              On 6th April i got a request from GreenChannel repiled back to me with Visa's reply to ICICI providing some documents statign the transactions are valid and they cannot revert back my money.

                              Please help me out.
                              I have attached the screenshot of my Prepaid card account where all transactions in BGN currency are fake and unauthorised.

                              I am the complainant and after my post in this blog, i got a few initial calls from Head Service Quality stating to look into this issue.

                              But unfortunately, now again they have started to delay the process. I expected i would have clarity on the process and the progress and status of my complaint.
                              but what maximum they say is "Your complaint has been taken and regiostered please wait for m ore xxx days." What hell i already am listening to this same thing since last 60+ days and stil they do not clarify me with the process and the exact investiagtions till date.
                              just ask me to wait for the verdict, i don t know on what basis they would giove a final decision when they are not ready to even listen to the customer at all and support them in such fraud cases.

                              It is fault in the service that the security can be comprimised. i would never recommend anybody to this service and shall promise to escalate this in proper channels now.

                                Sir/Madam,

                                I am using an SBI ATM card but on the evening of 5th April 2010, almost all the ATM machines were either out of cash, out of order or heavy rush. I tried in all the ATM present i my area and finally found an ICICI ATM in Kingsway Camp. There was few people waiting, so I use the ATM and withdraw Rs.500. It seems the SBI server was down and the transaction was declined by the machine, saying "unable to process your request".

                                I went back home and check my balance online on SBI website and surprised to see that Rs.500 is already deducted from my account. Since the same problem already happened with me before with UTI bank, I just wait for 24 hours for it to reverse, but it is already 3 days gone and nothing happen. I submit a complaint to my SBI branch online and the issue is still pending, they say I also have to write an application to the ICICI bank who maintain that ATM.

                                I went to ICICI bank in Model Town and asked the lady (Miss Vijaya Kumari) to help me. Initially she seems to be helpful but the moment she knows I am an SBI customer, she immediately throws the ATM receipt to me and tell me go and complaint to the SBI.

                                As for me, I already regard this incident as my misfortune and a loss of Rs.500 for nothing, but I wonder with the heavy number of people around the country using ATMs especially SBI ATM, say, even if 1000 users throughout India loses just Rs.100 per day, how many crores bank such as ICICI would have gained through this unfair means.

                                My problem is solved after 7 days as a result of compaint I made to my SBI branch. Though too late, I would like to thank SBI.

                                Suppose if my problem is not solved, how will u help me? Shall I go to model town branch again and interact with the government employees of ICICI? Anyway, thanks for your response.

                                  My self SIddharth Lonkar,i m using ICICI Card since last 4 years 7 every time i have paid outstnding against this card on time,only in the month of March'10 wrongly i have paid short amount of Rs.100/- from my outstanding of Rs.16745/- (i have paid 16645/-).And only for this short paid of Rs.100/- ICICI have charged of Rs.645/-.

                                  So can you pls help me to resolve this issue.

                                  I think ICICI should not not charged any LPC on regular coustomers ho is paying all dues on time in every payment cycle.

                                    The same mistakes are being repeatedly done again and again. I have mentioned in my email that I have made payment for Rs 28485/-, but again you are written wrong. Please refer your below email. As assured by you I am waiting for your reply.; I am getting frequent alert sms email for making payment by 11th April 2010. I have received the confirmation for reversal of interest and charges debited. Again the issue remains as same. Where is my money gone from my account? Why you people are harassing the customer again and again though I have paid excess money. I am taking this issue very seriously and will not mind to go to consumer court for the harassment and mental agony and recover of my money as well as interest along with damages for which you are solely responsible.

                                    I am forwarding this copy to consumer forum for information.

                                      This is the reference of credit card no [protected] where i am subjected to CIBIL negative due to non payment whereas I have settled the full payment and surrendered the card in 2006.

                                      I have done only one transaction through this card in May 2006 of Rs.1645.00 and the same has been cleared by CASH on 10 June 2006 post that we have closed the CC and we have not done a single penny transaction. PS : Have the payment slip for the payment made.

                                      Inspite of that I have asked to make the payment which I had addressed the issue through the toll free number and was promised that the bills would be cleared with zero balance left.

                                      Now I was declined a loan due to negative by CIBIL as we have an outstanding with ICICI and am subjected to mental torture.

                                      Since then I ve been contacting the customer care and I do not get proper response to address my issue and am disappointed with this kind of service.

                                      Request you to resolve this case on high priority or I have one choice left which is to approach CONSUMER FORUM.
