Respected Sir/Madam,

Recenty i submit a complaint against ICICI Bank on 12/12/09. I was having a credit card of ICICI Bank. Card No. is [protected], i use that card and refund the amout to bank as per their given statement. But after refund them excess of my usage they agian sent me a statement for arround 40000/- appx. when i refuse them to pay on the ground that i have already paid almost doubled amount for what i use, they auto debit amount from ICICI Bank from my A/c no.[protected]. They did not notice me regarding this withdrawl. I only came to know about this when i went bank for payment and found my a/c showing zero balance in it.
i request you to please intervene in ths matter and help me to get my money back.

ICICI Bank — Money debited without any notice

Hi,
This is Mr.Gopi Krishna Kishore from bangalore. I am holding salary account[protected], with ICICI Bank, Bangalore, since october 2005. In October 2008 i recieved a call from ICICI Bank customer care about my platinum credit card. She said that, as i am holding salary account in ICICI Bank, they are issuing me a Platinum credit card. I had accepted and they had issued the card. On 3rd February 2009, i paid my online credit card payment for Rs.6, 332. And on the next day i noticed that the same amount has been debited once again from my account. I called customer care of saving a/c dept and they said they don't have any idea and routed the call to credit card dept. Even after waiting for more than half hour no one has responded. I called the credit card dept directly and explained my problem. I was shocked when the executive said that while issuing the card itself 'Auto Debit' option is being activated even without my notice. When i asked for the clarification she said she doesn't have any information, i have to send email and later they will respond. I requested them to atleast revert back my excess paid amount, but they denied for that also. She said that next coming months outstanding amount will be deducted now and remaining amount would be paid. This is absoulutely cheating the customer. Due to this unnoticed transaction my other commitments got effected. I had to pay my loan and that got failed. Please do take appropriate action and help me in this regard.

ICICI Bank — Holding funds without reasons and notice

Dear Sir

I am holding an account with ICICI Bank A/c No[protected] Langford Road branch, Bangalore where my salary from my company - Four Interactive Pvt Ltd Bangalore - is been credited every month. Today i noticed when the salary is credited in my account ICICI Bank has seized Rs 45564/- from my account with out any prior notice or information to me. when i spoke to their phone banking officers, they says somebody's name, date of birth matches with me and that person has some outstanding in his credit card and since my name is matched and they went ahead blocked my money with out any notice or information.

they also says that they need a weeks time to look into this issue and not ready to give any reference or complaint number for future communication.

since 50% of my salary is hold or seized by this bank, my pre-planned payments are disturbed and is causing me major problems as a customer

i am requesting you to kindly intervene in this issue and get me the justice, i can provide all relevant documents.

ICICI Bank Saving Bank Account — Account Seized without information

Dear Sir,

I have a Saving Bank Account No.[protected] with ICICI Bank - Bund Garden Branch, Pune since 2005 with a credit card of the same bank; i was the one who made regular payment against credit card but failed to keep regular since 4-5 months - still made the payment of Rs.4000 last month and Rs.24, 000 this month; now Bank deducted Rs.25, 880.00 without any pre intimation. When I confirmed with the bank executive he confirmed that the amount deducted against outstanding of Credit Card.

I will do the payment of whatever the outstandings in couple of months - but without intimating customers how they block the account - that means bank can do any transaction without informing customers means bank is cheating.

I am the regular customer of ICICI and have a smooth transaction, if the account is not unblocked it will more harmful for me. So you are requested please take necessary action against this cheater bank.

    Please help me. The ICICI Bank has seized my four wheeler due to non payment of EMIs. I failed to pay the EMI since my employer (Exensys Software Solutions Limited) has not paid my salaries since December 2008.

    Now the bank has taken away my vehicle by force and asking me to pay the entire amount of Rs. 1.7 lakhs to take back my vehicle.

    I need assistance. I cannot pay back this much amount at once.

      I have received a message from your TM ICICI Bank indicating that EMI of Rs.9291 is over due for ICICI Bank loan account LPDELXX8849, as on 30 Nov.2009 and for paying the amount in any ICICI Bank branch immediately.

      I am to bring to your notice that no loan has been taken by me from ICICI Bank on the above loan account. Please check and correct your records and send the message to correct person.

            1. 05.10.09 Cheque No:734529 - Rs 9269/
            2. 02.11.09 TP AXIS BANK LTD/[protected] - Rs 9269/
            The above transactions were approved by Icicibank bank against the Personal loan which I have availed from Axis bank.
            But the EMI for the month of Dec'09 was declined by the Icicibank Bank evevnthough enough fund was in my A /C No :[protected]. The available balance on my A/C on 01.12.09 was Rs 5,09,499.07.This has spoiled my relation reputation with Axis bank with out valid reason. Hence I request Icicibank bank to give proper explanation and copensation for the damage caused by them.

              I am holder of Credit Card of ICICI Bank.

              My billing cycle was 20th to 19th till Sep 09 which was change to 24th to 23rd from Oct 09. Due to which my Oct month statement was for the period from 20th Sep to 24th Oct.

              The change for the same was not intimated to me and I did some transaction based on my credit card billing cycle and finance plan on 20 to 21 oct 09 considering that the due date will be after 45 days.

              However the same was billed to me for Nov 09 bill. I called the customer care and given them request that the payment will be made in next month as the change in billing cycle was not intimated to me. And based on it, they should not charge the interest.

              The customer care department noted the request and assured me that the interest will not be charged and will be reversed if charged. They given me the requisition no[protected] for the same.

              On 23 Nov 09, bank has charged interest in my account and on my call to customer care, i was being replied that the interest will not be reversed.

              my compliant is against bank for non intimating me the change in billing cycle date and non reversing the interest.

                Sir,

                I Anand Soni taken 2 policies from ICICI Prulife , policy no bearing 02797553 and 02797554, i have submitted the form for my Partial withdrawel at ICICI Bhiwadi office on dtd. 2/12/09, duly signed and filled enclosed with a crossed cheque , and they assured me that i will get my refund within 7 days, but after 10th day I again called to Bhiwadi ICICI and then they told me to talk to there alwar office no.[protected] and 636, I talked to Mr. Vimal on dtd. 15th , 16th and 17th , so many times and i always get confirmed by him that my amount has been transfered to my bank account , but lastly at this time on 17th evening 6.30 pm i have been told that my amount has been revert back due to some problem of bank transection / transfer and i will get the cheque through post, but they could not able to confirm me why the amount reverted back, and for my second policy they have told that it has been no yet logged for refund due to lack of some document, if the document is not complete than why not i have been told by Bhiwadi ICICI office ( ph. No.[protected] during submission of the same if they didn't seen then why the next staged office not informed me at the time of received at there end, I have never received a single call from any of the ICICI office after submission of my form for refund ( Partial) , after my several calls they informed me like this and the time passes to 15 days, is this the quality of there after sales and services , I want my refund within 3-4 days otherwise i have to go to consumer forum, to take strong action against ICICI Prulife, I have been misguided everytime, never received any calls from them. kindly solve my problem within 3-4 days.

                icici prulife — partial refund amount

                Till date i didn't received my partial refund for policy no. 02797554, in the name of Mrs. Kanchan Soni, its already passed 30 days after submit of my forms for refund. kindly do the needful please.

                icici prulife — Non Refund of Policy

                I submitted documentation for refund of my policy # 05363284 in July 2010. I have as of Dec 2010, yet to receive refund of my policy. I have called the company every 2 weeks, for the last 6 months to no avail. More than a few times they have told me that policy is ready to be paid out only to bring up some issue or another to put every thing on hold again. I am an NRI and when I bought the policy, no less than 3 executives visited me, multiple times, at my parent's home to sell the policy. Now that I need refund on my policy, I cannot get a straight answer from anyone.

                  My credit was debited Rs 1295 on 26/11/2009 for CCP Assistance without my knowledge. I called CCP for refund but there is no response till date. In fact, the origin of this issue is, a phone banking executive of ICICI bank who made this unwanted proposal and registered this service on behalf of me. I feel that the ICICI bank phone banking executive cheated me by registering this service. (I called ICICI bank toll free number for getting some information about balance transfer). I don't want this CCP service. Please help me get out this CCP service.

                    I was having Aicici bank credit card no [protected] I returned the card somewhere in 2005-and from then I kept receiving the call for the payment when there was nothing to be paid then also I have paid 1600 rs for four five times they said it is for settlement and After that again I use to get the same call and they say ur amount is due so then in aug 2009 I have been deducted of rs 4572 from my[protected] a/c no
                    Which was with them and then they told me for ur credit card which I was not using for 4-5 years that they have again deducted the money for the credit card
                    After a month I have gone to rohini-delhi in their office and asked for the statement and told them the complete history they gave me the past two years statement and said we will get u more two years statement from Mumbai office and we don’t find any purchase in it ,there must be something wrong we will check it and will transfer the money.. since past 4 months I have not received any statement any actionand now again I have started receiving the same call for more money .this is the attachment of my account where they have deducted the money without any prier notice and without my using their credit card for past four five years

                        I have made a fund transfer of Rs 1400 from my ICICI bank account[protected] to SBI bank account [protected] of my yunger brother on 14/12/2009 .Transfer ID is[protected]but as per my brother amount has not been deposited .Generally transfer takes few hours but this time it is getting delayed and ICICI is showing that transfer is successful.My brother is facing problem as he didn't get the money on time.I tried to contatc ICICI but didnot get proper responce.They should inform such delayed transaction .the amount has allready been deducted from my account and my brother didn't get the money.
                        i transfered money from my icicibank a/c to my brother's sbi a/c, amount is 60000.00 rupees but is is not transfered in my brother's a/c while it showing successful transfer of money. can anyone help ????

                            I am a credit card holder of icici bank bearing # [protected], I had been paying in the card regularly but due to my sudden financial crunches, i have failed to continue the same from the last few months. In the meanwhile i was in touch with one of their executive name Mukesh who used to sit at the upperwood street office and I have also made several payments to him, he used to contact me and send colletor to me for the collection of the payment. Since last few months he had stopped calling me up and I contacted the bank directly to go for a settlement of my credit card account. I never quoted any amount and left the whole thing on the bank to decide. But to my surprise they stopped contacting me suddenly and finaly i came to know that my total outstanding is some 79000/-. I have stopped using the card the very day i failed to make the payment. If bank would remain honest in their part, even they would agree to this. Then how on earth my oustanding reaches to such a pick point i failed to understand. To add more to this, bank never contacted me since the day I had spoken to them about the settlement, moreover since I have my salary account with Icici bank, they have lien the account without even informing me. My salary account balance reflects in negative figure now and the moment i receive my salary the whole amount gets deducted and i do not receive any payment. Bank could have informed me before doing the same. I am not an outsider. I work for the same group (ICICI Prudential LIC ltd) and it is very easy to get my number traced out or the location of the branch am working in. My whole family and my brother's education depends on my salary and bank has taken such a drastic step without my knowledge. I want my money back from the bank and would request them to settle the account or else i would be left with nothing but commiting suicide due to ICICI BANK.

                            If this bank is doing this to its own employee, no wonder what it could do to a normal consumer. There is no consumer protection here and banks are highly unregulated and free to do what ever they want. Better open an SBI Salary account. People open salary accounts with these accounts trusting them, but what they do now is pick money from their pocket witha greedy smile. Hope RBI comes with some good sort of consumer protection regulation like Dodd Frank in US which will prevent these kind of scrupulous bank to be erased out of existence. Or My suggestion to all the viewers who read this forum will be not to create an SB account or salary account with these kind of banks. Go for nationalized banks like SBI. Together we can win over these kind o[censored]nethical behaviours

                                Last Week (9-Dec-09) myself sheetal Kalambe had purchased one Shoppers stop gift voucher worth Rs. 2000/- (from Shoppers Stop, Camp, Pune India) using my ICICI Bank debit card (Debit card no. [protected]). But the card has been debited of Rs. 4000/- at the counter. The card was swiped twice but according to Shoppers stop representative the first swipe was unsuccesfull. We have received only 1 transaction slip (Ref Num.[protected].Please note that that I had signed transaction reipt only once.

                                The Account statement also shows two entries of Rs. 2000/- each at the same store.

                                I have called Shoppers stop and they mentioned that its some issue with ICICI Bank machine. I also called ICICI Helpdesk .My complaint number is SR[protected]. Please verify and credit 2000 Rs in my Account

                                amount deducted twice whereas it is with drawn only once
                                I withdrawn Rs 5400 from ur ATM at Vina Nagar Mulund at 21:27 from ATM having id number S1CD2706 but when i took the statement i found there is double entry of the same amount although i had withdrawn it only once.
                                Before this withdrawl the same machine was unable to do the withdrawl for which i got recipt stating unable to process.
                                Same was brought to the notice of the security guard posted over there who told to contact the branch on tomorrow morning.

                                  i have taken personal loan from icici bank and i have paid reguler emi's but after losing my job i unable to pay the last three or four emi, icici bank employ's harresd me like anything they come to my home any time at early morrning or night forcing me to pay the dues i convey them that i have no job right now but they insist me to do anything to pay our dues,last month i have pai Rs.3500 as settalement and its been two month nobodys...

                                  I have taken a persoanl loan which I have taken on my ICICI credit card due to some personal emergency in 2007.

                                  Till April 2008 I have made the EMI monthly and then went for a pre-closure of this loan. Which I have closed it with the details below:-

                                  Cheque # 324732 dated 27/04/2008 for Amt 78889 drawn on SBI. During this time the pre-closure I have also made some 2% extra for pre-closing. Now after an year and half I get reminders from ICICI stating that there is a due and I get therating from you people to settle it.

                                  Why should I pay or OPT for settlment when the loan is already pre-closed. And this is not the right way. I would appreciate if some one can help me in getting out of this mess. I mail and call the ICICI customer care number 42088000 so many times but no one seems to be interesed to solve my issue instead they say you have to pay or we have to go for leagal settlement.
                                  Hope this makes more clarity on this.

                                  My Name is Ashish Mishra. I am from Bangalore. I want to file a complaint for ICICI Bank Credit card division.
                                  Some 7 months back, i got a phone call in my office on my desk no. from icici credit card division of Bangalore- Rajaji Nagar Branch. They told me to apply for a complimentry credit card which they are offering to my company employees without any charges. first i denied. but they didn't stop to call on my no. so i applied for a card. One repesentative came to me to collect the required doument and for filling proper form. i gave everything which ever was required. but after two months nothing heppend. i enquired about my application they told that they don't have any record and they asked me to re-apply. Again I followed the same procedure and ans submitted the docs. But same thing heppend with this time also. Now while enquiry they asked me to re-apply. it was third application. now again same thing heppend. after submitting all the docs and photos and my employee id photocopy, there is no any follow-up. even i got a call for my address verification but i didn't get any card.
                                  My point is, these people calls to employees in their offices, takes the document & photos, then they don't provide any facility. so why they are taking the info of a person.

                                  ICICI Bank - Credit Cards — Unethical withdrawal from Saving Bank Account by ICICI Bank

                                  I am having a saving account with ICICI Bank (AC No.[protected], on 26/12/08 it’s showing a debit transaction worth Rs. 12, 242.41, after contacting the customer care I have come to know that this amount was withdrawn towards the outstanding of my credit card.
                                  I further like to inform you the issue of outstanding dues is lingering from last almost 2 years. It was started from the transaction worth Rs 600 done on my credit card. The said transaction was not happen and shown as outstanding on my credit card. Then from then onwards the outstanding amount is gone on increasing including the late payment & penalty charges. I have informed this to your customer care executives periodically, but there is no proper solution provided to me and only promises are given to me. As the time passed away the amount was become such a high amount.
                                  There are so many calls have came to me which I have replied for the proper settlement, but every time a new person was calling me and telling different – different process and commitment (they may be from your call center). I was tired with such kind of mental harassment, but there was no support from the customer care.
                                  I am a regular customer of various services provided by ICICI. Now a huge penalty of Rs 12, 242 for a truncation (which was not actually happened) of Rs. 600 is very unkind and it’s injustice done with me without taking me into confidence.

                                  ICICI Bank - Credit Cards — Debited more money from savings acct and demanding more

                                  i had an ICICI credit card .My credit limit was 44, 850.00..I have not used the card for last 20 months.
                                  Also I was paying the min payment by ECS till Nov 2008.
                                  On feb 29th, they (ICICI Credit cards) debited 55000 rupees from my
                                  ICICI savings acct and put a lien on my savings acct.
                                  Ihad my home loan going on from my savings acct . .so I got panicked and called them up ..
                                  The well "trained" at the customer service told me to call up some other stupid guy with collections and meet him to settle my credit card account..and my due is 82, 122.10..(WOOOOW)..

                                  Here's the best part...
                                  I am in the USA. So I informed them that I am out of country and I asked the customer SERVICE executive to give me the number of the collection dpt personnal.But he refused to do so ...I asked him that whether he could call me..The answer was "Sorry Sir..We cannot make ISD calls.." (Ridiculous!!!)..
                                  Also he informed me that I must be in india to settle this dispute..Only other way is to pay whatever they demanded!!!

                                  But I wanted to get my savings acct unblocked at any cost..so I paid off the amount they told me ..(I havn't seen a statement for more than an year)... I asked the executive to send me a copy of my statements..he took the request and I haven't received any statement yet and all these happened a week back!!!

                                  Here's the second part..


                                  Altogether, I paid an amount of 82, 796.26 in January 09 and requested to close the card.
                                  (I paid almost 600 INR in excess..I trusted th customer care executives...)..
                                  and an executive informed me that my card has been closed permanently..I don't have any written proof for that...
                                  Now I got a new statement in email which says my payment due is 2685.10 and due date is Feb 20th.
                                  I am not even able to access the card online. And there are some transactions on my card which I am not at all aware of.

                                  Anyway I paid it off...but I need my hard earned money back...now I feel like cheated...
                                  how should I proceed in this regard???
                                  A reply would be greatly apprecited!!!
                                  I have make a credit card in ICICI Bank i can't use that credit card for from the initial one day i got a statement that they charges me annual fees i call to customer care and i said when i was make that credit card there is no annual fees on that credit card and i have cancel that credit card they said you break that credit card between and put on icici drop box I do the same but freequently receive that credit card statement now a day my credit cards outstanding balance is more than 15, 000.

                                  Why should I pay that money even i can't use the credit card.

                                  I would appreciate if some one can help me in getting out of this mess.                                   I have spoke/written emails to 8 people who said they are responsible and they will resolve the issue and every time from last 3 months they just say we will get back to you in 3 business days and no one exactly get back to me.

                                  And I get reminders and SMS from the bank to pay for the money which I have already settled in 2008. I have no idea how this bank really working. As I think there is no one is interested to resolve the issue and close the issues which is a mistake from their end.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I have a icici credit card and saving account. During Diwali vacation ICICI Bank representative Mr. Sandesh visited my my home for icicicredit card payment with outstanding of Rs. 13000/- . i explained him about my credit card closing.Infront of me taked to his senior and asked me pay the cheque of Rs. 8000/- after which he will give me claim settlement letter at Amount of 8000/- and my card will be closed. but to diwali vacation he said he give letter within 8 days. after which i did not received any letter. and now yesterday i had come to know about icici bank blocking the amount of Rs. 6770/- .

                                      When i spoke to the customer care about the same they are refusing to listen me. becoz i dont have any thing in written. I request to check the record of the executive they had send for recovery to my place. They answered they dont have database of the executives going for recovery. I do have the single proof of the executive coming to my place his mobile no. is [protected] Mr. Sandesh.

                                      I dont have any writen proof with me to go for any further action . I requested the ICICI bank to check the executive in whose account the incentive for collection of my cheque is paid to be cheked they refused. but the cheque (262169 ) of Rs. 8000/- dated 19/10/09 is cleared from my saving account.
