Hello,
Myself pratik tarpara, i am a corporate as well as personal banking customer of icici bank since past three years. On analysing my saving account statements i found that the bank has charged me a total of inr 10, 800/- as mab charges. This is ridiculous. And the best part is i have never been notified about the monthly deductions via sms or e-mail so i never get to know the charges, the charges were different each month ranging from 18/- to 515/- and totalling to 10800/-...
On speaking to my friends about this charges, they told their bank reverses them...with the hope of reversal, i went to my branch, the executive was very rude to me, she was like dont u understand that you have to maintain minimum balance of 10, 000. I told her sometimes it is not possible to maintain and i do have regular deposits and withdrawal..she was not ready to listen to me. I even told her that other banks do reverse the charges, she tells lets other banks do, icici do not reverse..i lost all the hopes and completely dissatisfied with the customer support. Lastly, i told the mam that i want to close the account.without even a second thought, she told me to fill the closure form and close the account...this kind of services you giving your customers? Is everything about profitability? Worst banking service i ever saw...
As a last try, i called up icici customer care, about lodging a complain regarding mab charges, the executive told me that you can go to branch and they will reverse it for you, i asked her two times, will they surely reverse? She replied yes..
Now i dont have guts to fight with the branch again...

Updated by Pratik Tarpara its been 10days, i still havent received any call nor any e-mail from icici bank..i think the comment posted above was just a auto responder reply...really disappointed with icici bank services and customer support...
