I have been a credit card customer of ICICI Bank for last 7 years or so. But was literally shocked to see the so called "overlimit charges" of rs 500/- in my current statement. My credit limit is 1, 48, 000/-. I made a transaction which resulted in total purchase amount going beyond 1, 48, 000 by about 3000. As Demat account maintenance charge an amount of 590 was deducted from my account without my notice. And when i spoke to customer care they informed me regarding the amount will get reverted once the account closure request is sent. But till date this has not happened.
