While applying the credit card of ICICI bank, I was told that since I hold a salary account with ICICI bank and I am applying a Platinum Card, no annual charges shall be taken from me, whereas in the first statement, charges have been debited by the bank. Further, there is no direct contact number where I can register my grievance. All the necessary details were provided to the agent who had applied the card.

    Hi, My Card No is [protected]. I had booked 4 tickets from Air India but unfortunately the ticket was not booked due to some error and transaction happened successfully. My kind request you pls. decline the payment. Instantly called up your customer care and checked that the merchant has not claimed yet and asked for decline the transaction but just they refused for the same. Since I am informing you instantly to decline the transaction, inspite of that if the transaction happened I will not be responsible for the same. I am going to book a another ticket. I am not responsible for the duplicate transaction. Regards Rama

    My Card No is [protected]. I had made a transaction of Rs. 250 with Airtel Digital TV to recharge the DTH account. I have received the SMS alert from the bank. But while checking the account balance of the DTH the same is not reflecting. When I checked with the Airtel they are swing that they have not received any amount against my DTH Account. Pls. let me have the transaction No. and also requesting you pls. declined the transaction as the merchant has not received the amount. Inspite of my request if the transaction happened I will not be responsible for the same and I will not pay for the transaction.


    Further let me inform you that I have been relocated to Navi Mumbai, all my correspondence address and contact no. have been changed. Requesting you pls. update the following correspondence details for future communication for both the credit cards issued from your bank :

        On 15th April 2015, a fraud transaction using my credit card was done in Pune at Star Bazaar of amount11, 999/-. I was in Delhi and the credit card was very well with me. Within 2 minutes i reported it to ICICI bank customer care and reported about it. I was given complaint number SR[protected] and bank complaint number SR[protected] and asked to submit documents to the bank which i did within 30 minutes of this transaction. The bank has informed me the issue will be resolved in 60 days. However, the disputed amount is added to my bill. As my card was swiped as informed by the bank rep, it is obvious that there is a duplicate card and obviously it is bank's mistake if another card is doing the rounds. I request you to kindly provide me the update as i will not pay the disputed amount and i am pretty much sure that they will levy interest on the unpaid amount and will also affect my CIBIL score. plz help Anzer Khan (khan.[protected]@yahoo.co.in)

          Dear Sir, This is to inform you that I had opened this zero balance Saving Bank Account No.[protected] in January 2013 linked with Provident Fund account and exclusively for that purpose only. At the time of opening provident fund account, your executive had informed me “that if you will pay Provident Fund of Rs.1500/- monthly for 15 months through the above saving bank account, then you will enjoy this zero balance saving account forever.” Thereafter I had deposited Rs.1500/- for eighteen months for Provident Fund through this saving account. It was transferred automatically by branch only. Then after SEP’14, even though balance was there, but as branch didn’t transfer the amount to PF, I kept that amount in saving account. Just now on checking my account, I come to know that Bank has deducted full balance towards MAB charges. For your kind information, on[protected] also bank had deducted MAB charges of Rs.393.26 and after making complain it was reversed on[protected]. This time Bank has deducted MAB charges on[protected] Rs.393.26,[protected] Rs.393.26,[protected] Rs.393.26,[protected] Rs.393.26 and 5) final balance of Rs.234.94 on 12-03-15 amounting to Rs.1807.98. On enquiry with the branch, they told that “it’s not zero balance account and you have to keep Minimum Balance of Rs.10, 000/-. Dear Sir, just check the account from the start date, I have never kept balance more than two thousand. Why didn’t you deducted MAB from the beginning of account? Then, why did you reversed wrongly deducted MAB on[protected]? Before charging MAB, had you informed or do you have any consent from our side for maintaining Rs.10, 000/- balance? On what basis you have charged MAB? I was not interested in Saving Bank Account and want to open only Provident Fund Account. Why you insisted me for zero balance saving bank account? Just to charge Debit card, SMS & MAB charges? You can check my account, there isn’t any personal transaction except of provident fund. I have never used Debit card nor am I getting any SMS alert, still charges are debited from the account. Even if I have to use internet banking for fund transfer to the linked provident fund account, I am getting message that mobile number is not registered. You are requested to check with the matter and credit wrongly deducted MAB Charges of Rs.1807.98 for five months with apology letter for the same. Thanking you, -Pratiksha Shetty

          Dear Shailaja Marri,

          Thanks for your looking into the matter and reversal of non-maintenance of MAB (Monthly Average Balance) Charges of Rs.1807.98 on[protected].

          But regret to inform you that I just received your mail on[protected] and on next working day, before I can take any step, on checking of my account for credit of the same, I come to know that "ICICIians are so concerned about the profitability of the ICICI that they again charged non-maintenance of MAB (Monthly Average Balance) Charges of Rs.158.32 with SMS charges of Rs.15/- on[protected].

          Don't you think "it's a magic". After completion of working day or banking hours, I received mail for reversal of wrongly deducted MAB and on the same day bank has deducted the MAB again>

          First of all I don't agree with your statement of "We would like to inform you that your aforementioned account is a "General Savings" account with Monthly Average Balance of Rs. 10, 000.00." Here I would like to know that from when you changed the status of this saving bank account? What action you will take Mrs.Shailaja Marri., on behalf of Office of Head Service Quality against the person who wrongly informed me "That you will enjoy this zero balance account even after payment for 15 months of Public Provident Fund?"

          If the status was "General Savings" account from the beginning, then please note that I have never maintained a balance of more than Rs. 2000/- in this account. Then why you didn't deducted any amount towards MAB Charges and why wrongly deducted MAB Charges was reversed on[protected]?

          Dear Shailaja Marri, I have received a date of[protected] for my last issue and here again the same problem has arise. Before 28-04-15, again bank will make my balance zero by way of MAB charges. At least give some time to customer to take a decision. IF YOU CAN'T ABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM, I can proceed for my next step.

          It's my promise that I will pass my bad experience of opening PF account and this message on WhatsApp to as many people as I can "THAT NEVER BELIEVE IN THE FALSE PROMISES OFFERED BY ICICI STAFF OR EXECUTIVE OFFICER FOR THEIR ANY PRODUCTS".

          This is your duty but I have to take out time from my office hours.

            Dear Sir, I received a call from No.[protected] on 29/11/2014. The Lady over the phone said to b from ICICI Bank. She told me that, I have about more than 7000 points on my credit card with ICICI Bank. She told that the points are getting expired and she can redeem them for me. Then for verification she asked me the full credit card no. and the expiry date. thereafter she told me that she will be sending a six digit pin to my registered mobile ID for verification and will call back. Thereafter I received an SMS from ICICI bank (DM-ICICIB) with the pin. Please note that while using ICICI bank Credit card online, the 3D secure pin is asked once the 3 digit @@@ no. along with other card details is entered. While in this case, I received the pin without even using @@@ no. therefore I didn't doubt the reliability of the call.Again got a call from the lady at ICICI ban asking for the pin. there after she told me that Deal @ Once will provide me the gifts worth 6999/- for redemption of the points. She also told me that I will be getting a call from Deal @ once and I should not tell them that I am redeeming points. Since its a matter between you and bank, we will pay them from point redemption. The money went to Amtec Engineers_Paytm. The flaw in the ICICI bank system is this: 1. ICICI bank is passing on the Credit card information to fraud agencies like [protected]@once/ Amtech Enginnering. The credit card nos. and name of card holder, Contact no. is available with them. 2. 3D secure pin is generated by them. 3. Since there are numerous cases of this fraud, ICICI Credit card should have banned this entity Amtec Engineers_Paytm They again called on February 18th 2015 from 91- [protected] at 11.27AM.               It’s very sad to receive such pathetic service from a reputed organization like you, I am an existing customer of your bank & recently applied for Credit card, in face it was a corporate offer given by you & bunch of people applied together, Everybody by now has received the card, I too received the PIN details on my official address & for card I received a message saying “ ADDRESS NOT FOUND & REURENED UNDELIVERED” in spite of several follow up, after mentioning my no over it, after delivering number of cards to the same address moreover after delivering the pin to the same address I received such meaningless message & I believe you must have 1 logistic company to deliver in all these area wise, it’s really frustrating, I have 100 more things to panic about, now I am really regretting about it, I called your customer care which doesn’t have an option to speak to your executives directly so registered for call back, & registered 5 times since morning but no one has bothered to call me back till now, is this the kind of customer satisfaction you provide? I am sorry to say but any nationalize bank which is known to be indolent service providers serves better than you. I would like to abandon my card right away, Please Guide!!!

                        My Credit card bill due date was 01/04/15 ( a banking holiday), full payment of which was made on 31/03/15 via NETBANKING, but I was still charged for late payment, which is wrong. I had even given the bank statement copy to them to track investigate the case. From the past couple years, I have been paying the credit card bill atleast a day or two before the due date but never got such late payment charges levied.

                              Dear Sir, I am holding a Saving A/c bearing no.[protected] with your branch which is well maintained by me since opening of this account. Last week for doing an online transaction when I opened my account I was very surprised to see some heavy debit charges on my account amounting to Rs 2700 (Approx.). Immediately after this I personally visited the bank on 11/4/2015 (Saturday) and met there with a gentlemen sitting at the 5th No. cash counter who refused to tell me the reasons for these debits instead advised me to contact customer care. I managed to call to the customer care who in turn told that these charges are debited due to non-maintenance of minimum balance and these charges can be waived off by your home branch only. I would like to inform you that Bank has never intimated me that I have to maintain a minimum balance of Rs.10, 000/- to operate this account and hence has wrongfully debited my Account since January, 2015. In view of the above circumstances I request you to kindly waive off the wrongful charges levied on my account and remit the same to me in my aforesaid Account.                                 My Banker : ICICI BANK, TNAGAR BRANCH My account no. :[protected] M y contact number : [protected] account type : S/B Account opened : year 2005 I found that my account has been debited by MAB charges as below :- 12/1/2015 : SMAB Chgs DEC14+Stax43.26 : 393.26 16/2/2015 : SMAB Chgs-Jan15+Stax 8.34 : 75.88 In the last 10yrs, I had no problem with yourbanking system. In jun'14, you have deducted 30/06/2014 : SMAB Chgs May14+Stax 0.11 1.06 for which, I did not mind as it is just Rs.1. Just after 6 months, you have swallowed Rs. 480(SMAB Chgs) from my account without my knowledge. You only opted us to open with s/b A/C with ZERO BALANCE facility.Then, why do you take money from my account "in the name of MAB" without any prior intimation to me(Thefting is illegal in India). If you changed your policies, can't you update your clients by sms ? Remember, the bank account is absolutely mine and definetly not yours. You have no right to pull my money from my account w/o proper intimation (pl don't forget the word in English : client). Of coarse, you have all the right to through your poor clients out and retain HNI. If so, send a SMS to your clients for closing the a/cs who cannot maintain 10000 and those who are not affordable to your new system, will be happy to close the account. Never forget the fact that we are not living in 1990 and ICICI is not the only bank available in INDIA.RBI has allowed many more people to do banking operations and consumers has wide choice than ever before. Back to my story, I want Rs. 480 to be reimbursed to my account and if you want me to close the a/c, I am pleased to do it. give me time. If charges deducted are not credited back to my account, let me approach Banking Ombudsman citing Rule 8(1)(k) i.e. "levying of charges without adequate prior notice to the customer" of The Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006. thank you K SELVANAYAKI CHENNAI [protected] 16 APR 15

                                    I have a ICICI Bank salary account which I had to create as it was required by the company I work with. When I created my account the representatives informed me to take a Demat account along with the bank account as it would be a benefit when I change my account to a Savings account. He told me I could have a 0 balance Savings account if I had a Demat account along with it. I was told it was free and there was no charge for this Demat account. Today I went to the ATM to withdraw cash and I noticed Rs 607.00 less in my account. I checked through Net Banking and noticed I had a charge with the name "00405231 DP CHGS TILL FEB-15" which withdrew Rs 607.00 from my account. No sms was sent regarding this debit from my account on my registered mobile number. This is totally unacceptable and I need an explanation.

                                      Hi, This is with regards to one of My personal Loan Application number 64014842 & 64014591 datd 11/4/2015. I have received a call from ICICI bank, Mumbai saying they are offering a personal loan with very minimal Documentation even after telling it was rejected previously due to low CIBIL score.I have received a confirmation from executive and from manager on call(Number mentioned Below) that theyare already reviewd my CIBIL report and this will a special offer as a previllaged salary a/c and there wont be any decline further.Please do listen to all the conversation which i had with these people and let me know how do i escalate this issue futher. Its really annoying to produce document every time even after knowing the decline status. My cibil score got hit due to some miscommunication by outsourcing agent and payment was not posted on time.However i have a NOC for all nill due amount and i can produce all proof if required.Also i have a current cosumer loan from past 9 months which has a good track record. I was about to close my salary a/c due to this issue, however waiting for your final resolution from your end. Exept my salary getting credited into a/c, i have not benefited anything from ICICI bank. Please let me know whether its a false commitment or can this be approved by considering it as a Special case.Please do consider my application if possible on a high priority or let me the procedure to close my salary a/c.
