One of the Worst exp from most reputed Airlines service providers. “INDIGO AIRLINES”

*Incident* :- Along with my friends, I went to Lucknow and on Sunday morning, 8:35 AM we all were supposed to travel back from Lucknow to Bangalore (PNR KLP48E and TG7MVZ).
My friends were along with their family .We got shock of our life at around 10: 45 PM on 9th February as an SMS ' Your flight to Bangalore has been cancelled due to operational reasons.’
One link was provided in that SMS. When we clicked on that, it opened the Indigo Airlines website and we saw that 1: 15 AM a flight was available. We tried our level best, sooooooo many times to book it.
"It never happened and it was really frustrating for all o[censored]s."

We immediately decided to go to the Lucknow airport and book the ticket directly from the Indigo airlines counter. We somehow managed to get a taxi, rushed to the airport and requested them to book the tickets for us ASAP. But alas!!!, the indigo staff at the counter checked and told us that no seats were available for this flight. We enquired with them the next available flight to Bangalore.
"They told that all flights has been cancelled for the next two days!!. Atrocious !!. If you want we can book for Tuesday flight i.e 12th Feb. If you want tickets earlier to this, it is not at all possible for us, the only option is to cancel the ticket and refund the amount."
What an excellent response from India's most trusted airlines which is “On-time, is a wonderful thing!”...!!!..
We were Awestruck with this wonderful Airlines!!! What a punctuality .. What a customer experience

We were stranded in an unknown city in the middle of the night. No one to help us and not even any accommodation or help provided.
This is the heights of irresponsibility. Having no other option, we were forced to book the next available flight to Bangalore (Go Air) the next day evening scheduled at 7 PM( took off at 8: 45 pm).
We paid extra amount (4 times than the actual cost of the indigo flight for each person )...it costed almost 1 lakh rupees which is humongous for us.

Who will pay the extra amount which is spent unnecessarily from our pocket. Indigo told us its operational issues( which were a bunch of lies).
1) Bad weather
2) All flights to Bangalore cancelled for next two days.
3) The next day on 10th we reached airport at around 5 pm and was shocked to see an Indigo flight from Lucknow to Bangalore at 8 pm. They could have at least accommodated us in that flight which they never told us in first place.. When we asked them about it, they said we never asked about . Which is Utter nonsense.

When we pleaded with them, the Indigo staff told us to contact customer relations team to get some compensation.

We contacted customer relations yesterday(11th Feb 2019) and they have just given us coupons worth for 19479/- for all o[censored]s together, which is just 19% of overall cost unnecessarily paid by us for no fault o[censored]s!!!
This is just about the cost of one go air ticket we flew and is just peanuts. This is not acceptable at all..

Today's in news its updated that so many Indigo flights were cancelled due to shortage of pilots for this airlines.. Real reason were not at all informed to us .
• What customer service and Customer Satisfaction these airlines are offering!!!. We were literally stranded in Lucknow in Midnight.
• Who will compensate the money. Indigo should have taken the responsibility of the accommodation and borne the extra cost.
• Never expected such a behaviour from the so called “India’s Best Airlines”.

Just like to indicating “Operational Issues” and washing of their hands will not do ..

"We demand refund of the tickets and Full Refund of the amount which we had to spend extra for no fault of ours and for all the hardships we had to go through in an unknown place at the middle of the night.!!!.

I am one of the affected party in this complaint. I had to suffer this ordeal along with my family including my 4 y old son.

The Indigo staff at the Air port just washed their hands off all their responsibilities and didn’t put any effort to accommodate us on any other flight, nor did they make any arrangements for stay or food. They left us all hanging high and dry. All we got was a bunch of lies and deceit.

    Hey there recently I have been cheated by 3people which is 1 is an male which is the hr and his name is Hemant Reddy
    And the other are 2 ladies which is they had introduced them selves to.me as they are from naukri jobs and they had asked me to pay 14800 to their account for offer letter and security purposes and I had already been paid an amount of 8000 before this to them for receiving an call letter from them and they were been keeping on asking money to me which I refused to pay and due to luck I had of loss only 8000 and I know there is nothing I can do to get it and please help by taking an sever action on these kind of people. These fraudsters are destroying the dream of young jobless person's by cheating on them

      Me n my wife travelling from bangalore to nagpur through indigo airlines, one o[censored]r employee named vinayak counter no 21 behaved very badly. And ur manager is also very rude while talking. Vinayak gave me wrong information of my baggage 7kg and asking more money when i saw my ticket i am having 10kg baggage, when i asked y u gave wrong information he was saying i counted ur laptop bag, he is not accepting his mistake. He was not giving us our boarding passes. He is very rude with my wife. Ur employee don't know how to talk with ladies. Very disappointed.
      We travelled frequently in indigo airline but never seen such kind of person.
      U must take some action against him.
      I am not going to travel with ur airline in future

        seat allocation while travelling with infant

        Team, i travelled with an infant in india for the first time and expected a smooth hassle free experience. Given that we pay the infant fee, the least expected out of the airline is to be provided with comfortable and infant suitable seats while not disturbing the other passengers. I have seen ideally that passengers with infants are allocated the front row seats in order to allow fast boarding and getting off and also to allow the infants...

        My initial flight was 6e865 at 10.20pm from cbe to maa, which was canceled. I was redirected to chennai through 6e6313. The flight was scheduled at 11.35 but was delayed to 12.00 am but never was taken of[censored]ntil 12.30. The flight landed in chennai at 1.15 am on feb 10th. I did not receive my bag until 2.00am. I was told that the trolley broke or because we were put on another flight, all kind of excuses. I had a connecting international flight to doha at 3pm. I had a terrible experience of running to the international terminal because of the delay caused by indigo 1. Flight canceled and put on another flight
        2. The second flight was also delayed
        3. All passengers received luggages except 4 o[censored]s.

        I have decided not to take indigo hereafter.

            I, sreekumar travelled by your flight 6e 881 from vizag to chennai on 09 feb 19. Pnr no eyueuy through udchalo.
            I had occupied seat 27 d. I boarded the flight from the rear ladder among many. The cabin crew of two girls were talking to each other as if they are in a cafe and never bothered to offer the customary welcome to any of the passengers who were ahead or behind me. While the services started ms arati, the crew who having the charge of rear side of the craft was in a hurry skipping seats and missed my attempts to draw her attention for a paid order for beverage even though i was sitting with the menu raising it to her. It took gesticulation in all forms and hailing over to finally succeed.
            The last part is that she never apologised despite pointing it out to her.
            Immediately after the journey i had submitted feed back form. The company did not even bother to acknowledge or reply till date

              I am zameer irfan
              I had indigo from flight from 6e92 bkk to chennai on 08/feb 2019 pnr# fgcd7t. Early morning @04:00 am
              And same time i had my air lanka flight from chennai to doha on 08 /feb 2019 @ 16;00 hrs (Non refundable) boarding pass issued pob in board. After 3 hrs the declare flight cancel
              Cause of technical issue rise in aircraft indigo cancel the flight
              There was no flight to connect to chennai to catch my doha flight from chennai
              If i not reached on 08/feb 2019. My residence visa was cancell in doha
              I spoke to indigo officer he just said its not there porblem if i had other airlines company flight. So because of ingigo failure i loose uss 500 to book new flight from bkk to doha to avoid my job lose
              To reach before 08/02/2018, and the officer cancel my ticket 6e92., please tell me who is responsible that i loose uss 500 dollar lose because of indigo technical fail in flight

              We are sorry for the delayed response. We would like to state that our operations dependent on various factors some are beyond our control and determine our on-time performance. We do recognize the importance of maintaining our flight schedules and assure you the best of our efforts to eliminate or minimize the causes of flight cancellation. But, if an IndiGo flight is cancelled or delayed for more than 2 hours or rescheduled for 1 hour earlier, you can either re-book on another Indigo flight or cancel. The re-booking is done at no extra charge and the entire amount is refunded in the case of cancellation. As checked, we have processed the full refund for the flight in the travel agency account used for making the booking. Kindly contact the respective travel portal to claim the same. Also, you may write to us at customer.[protected]@goindigo.in for further assistance in this regard.

                How can a flight always be delayed? I am a frequent flyer of ngp-hyd route, the 7.30am flight is consistently late. You’re taking consistency as a virtue in the wrong sense. It is extremely annoying to be waiting everytime so early in the morning. If you cannot keep up to your own promises of punctuality, adopt honesty instead. Tell me the right time so i don’t have to waste my time on the airport.

                  Complaint against ‘indigo airlines” regarding not allowing boarding the flight despite being in time at new delhi airport.
                  This is with regards to file a complaint against “indigo airlines” for being understaffed on floor for checkin at the new delhi t1 terminal and a careless and negligent and approach by the staff on the counter.
                  Me and my family of five were not allowed to board the indigo flight: 6e 105 dated 8th february 2019 departure time 14.45. We were the counter at 13.10 hours at least fifty minutes before the boarding time and much before the departure time. We had already checked in the previous day and had to deposit our luggage.
                  There were long queue and initially we were in queue. As we understood that the company seems to have understaffed and the luggage section was working dull and in chaos we tried to talk to the floor manager who shifted us to some other queue where the employee was extremely slow. As the time passed we became anxious and as for a quicker and priority service. She declared that you cannot board now. We tried to convince that there is still time kindly consider us on a priority basis. There were other customers on the same flight too with us who too were denied. This frustrating experience by indigo came when on of my family member is already 75 plus. Even as we tried to tell the floor manager she kept her self-busy elsewhere and did not pay heed to our say, leaving us to destitute. The compensatory fares were five times higher and not in sufficient numbers also. Understaffed and negligent approach by the company has hurt us besides having to pay more for the taking another airline and also missing the day.
                  I wish indigo should compensate us for the pain given, for not considering and teaching their staff prioritizing, for being negligent.

We would like to inform you that the check-in counter closes 45 mins prior and the boarding gate closes 25 mins prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight. Please know that the passengers carrying the printout of boarding passes through web check-in can report directly at the board gates without check-in baggage. Based on our records, you reported at 1417 hrs for the flight scheduled to depart at 1445 hrs with bags. Hence, our staff was unable to accept you for the flight. Now, you may opt for no show taxes, kindly get in touch with the respective travel agency used for making the booking to claim.

                  your checkin counter team kept on passing the buck. it kept on asking us to shift from one counter to other. your records donot make sense as they have been created after we started complaining. as we started telling her to hasten the process she freed herself by making some statement as you say.
                  kindly do not hide your incompetence.

                  this answer is not acceptable because your check in counter had lesser staff and was inefficient. also the counter was closed much before than the said time. the concerned complaint is not resolved. and your claim of having it solved is not acceptable.
                  there were serpentine ques which your team wasn't able to handle. they were not well verse with the standard operating procedures.they closed the counter much earlier leaving customers to misery.
                  i regret you to look into the matter rather than giving usual standard answers.this reply is just unacceptable and is hiding negligence and incompetence.

                    I have did a ticket for indigo airlines having pnr "illk8e".
                    The ticket consisting of myslef and my wife.
                    Unfortunately, my wife's title had selected as mr instead of ms.
                    I had checked with the indigo airlines and the travel site i. E. Happyeasygo.

                    Happy easy go told they will fwd request to indigo. Indigo customer care told they won't allow due to title change, as it's a issue with gender.
                    So they told me to do a separate ticket. With the full name of my wife instead of short name i. E. S kar

                    While i reached the airport and check wit the ground staff, they told no issue you can travel and allow both o[censored]s.

                    The new ticket pnr is nd2l8c.
                    I am attaching both the copy.

                      I booked package for goa from getpacking. Indigo.in for 6 persons almost a week ago and made full payment of rs 74724 but still my package is not confirmed. I requested indigo executive to kindly cancel 2 passenger from package namely ashish yadav and shilpi yadav and also to confirm me my package by sending me seat no. Of flights and hotel booking details but still he didn't positively confirmed me. I am very much dissatisfied by indigo service as my package was on one day hold then for a week and now again for next one week. I made payment in full but still my package is on hold, why it is not confirmed yet and it is still showing payment confirmation awaits? Dissatisfying completely.

                        I was traveling along with 18 more passengers from bagdogra-kolkata - chennai (6e 534)- pune (6e 385) (All indigo flights) on 9th february. Our flight got delayed at bagdogra and kolkata due to which we missed our flight from chennai. The rescheduled flight that was given to us was chennai-bangalore (6e 6251)-mumbai (6e 424). From mumbai to pune via road. We have now been at the mumbai airport for more than 2hrs and are stranded since no transportation has been arranged.
                        We are in transit for the past 23hrs. The whole situation has been horribly managed. No consideration for the passengers is being shown. We were not even provided with basic facilities like water, food, accommodation and transportation. There were several senior citizens and single ladies traveling with us.
                        The concerned authorities/ personnel are
                        Bagdogra - all of indigo ground staff
                        Chennai - reservation counter staff specially mr ujwal who failed to inform the ground staff at mumbai airport to arrange for transportation from mumbai to pune (Aa told by the mumbai ground staff)
                        Mumbai - ground staff who are still trying to arrange for transportation for the past two hrs and we are still waiting (Sitting on the floor bcoz the sitting area is full). Special mention to miss shweta of mumbai ground staff who is extremely rude and ill-manared towards the customers.
                        Hope you take this complaint seriously and do something about it and improve your services and management.

                          I booked cargo via bangalore to imphal on the 9th feb 2019, after paying all cargo charges using my debit card. I got a call back from those on duty at the booking counter asking for my debit card no. Threatening me to delay my cargo if not provided. I wonder why indigo cargo booking counter would need customer's banking details or card no. For office purposes. If it is unusual practices by indigo employees to ask customers sensitive personal banking details, this has to be looked at the earliest.

                            I have just collected my suitcase after landing at jaipur airport (Travelling on mumbai to jaipur flight no. 6e 998) to my dismay, when i collected it, my suitcase was broken due to mishandling by the airport staff. Kindly compensate me as i will have to buy a new suitcase which will cost not less than rs 8000/-

                              I want to make a complaint about the incompetent indigo services as they refuse to change the flight destination upfront unprofessionally when called customer services they don’t know what they are talking about & are repetitive in their argument. I need to either change the flight destination or get the full refund on cancellation. Because it was error made on booking website when booked this ticket destination was suppose to be from delhi to srinagar but ticket was booked opposite way. No body is helping me out to get this resolved. That’s why i meet file a complaint

                                I and my friend booked an indigo flight from bengaluru to jaipur with the following pnrs bch44p and iynsky. Our flight was scheduled to depart by 9.05 pm of 8th feb. But we were communicated a delay of 1 hr by sms, mail and call around 4.50 pm. The revised departure time was 10.10 pm. Because of the delay, we reached airport by 9.05 pm and was in check in counter by 9.15 pm. The lady at the counter said we can’t checkin as we are late. We said we are not late and we still have 10 mins for checkin to close. She directed us to counter no 24 where the staff named aashish told us that flight departure was revised to 9.45 and he called us to inform. We said we did not receive any calls. He said he cant help and all he can do is give tickets in next flight which is by 11.50 pm. But when we went to reservation counter we were told that flight is already fully booked. So the lady at the reservation counter said next earliest flight is only by 7.30 am which is via hyderabad to jaipur reaching by 1 pm of feb 9th. Then we went back to aashish and he said somebody booked online for 11.50 pm flight, so he can get us ticket only 7.30 am flight. We asked him to provide ticket in alternate airlines which he denied. By the time we bought new tickets for 7.30 am flight, our friends travelling in 10.10 pm flight, said the flight departed only 10.20 and it was not preponed. When we asked aashish about the same, he said it could be due to lot of reasons like clearance, weather, etc.,

                                After completing checkin and security checkin, we contacted the shift manager mr. Aarun and he mentioned flight was neither preponed nor over booked and he doesn’t know why we were denied booking. He infact showed us the departure time and passenger count in computer which 10.10 pm and 180/182 were boarded.

                                With all these we could understand that the checkin counter staff aashish literally lied to us on face for his personal gains and denied booking for us. This caused lot of trouble like staying over night in the airport, no dinner in the airport, reaching by 12 hrs late to the destination, missing the programmes planned in the destination, loss of money for the hotel we booked for accommodation.

                                I want to know clear reason why we were denied boarding and who travelled on our places and what was the relationship of that passenger to aashish. Why did he lie that flight is preponed? Why did he lie about the seat availability in 11.50 pm flight? Why did he behave rude to us? Why did he lie again when we asked why the flight departed later than 10.10 pm instead of the preponed time 9.45 pm?

                                We want aashish to be terminated from his job immediately and file a legal complaint against him for using his authority to cheat passengers who are educated like us. If he can lie and cheat educated people, he can do anything to innocent and uneducated people who can speak only their native languages.

                                In addition, i want indigo to pay compensation for
                                1) denying our boarding,
                                2) lying to passengers for personal gains,
                                3) behaving rude to passengers
                                4) falsely blaming passengers to be late
                                5) making us sit in airport for 10 hrs
                                6) not providing accomodation
                                7) making me reach the destination late by more than 12hr
                                8) delaying all my appointments
                                9) for wastage of my hotel reservations.

                                I also want to thank mr. Aarun who was polite enough to listen to our concerns, provide us lounge access and confirmed to takes
                                Actions if complaint is raised.

                                Timelines for reference.
                                8/2 4.50 pm flight delayed message was communicated from indigo via sma, mail and call.
                                8/2 9.05 pm reached airport
                                8/2 9.15 pm we were in the checkin counter.
                                8/2 9.17 pm lady at the counter said she cant provide boarding passes as we are late for the flight. We said we still have 10 mins for the counter to close. She said she cant provide and contact aashish at the counter 24.
                                8/2 9.20 pm aashish said we can’t board as we are late. Flight was preponed to 9.45 pm and indigo called us to inform. We reverted saying no calls were made. He denied to listen anything and said he can give alternate tickets for 11.50 pm flight for free of cost as a favour.
                                8/2 9.30 pm after fighting, we reached reservation counter and the lady over there informed that 11.50 pm flight is fully booked.
                                8/2 9.35 pm we again spoke to aashish and he again lies saying someone has booked online and he can offer us only 7.30 am ticket in the morning (9/2)
                                8/2 10.05 pm received new tickets for 7.30 am flight.
                                8/2 10.10 pm our other friends in the flight confirmed flight did not depart by 9.45 and only by 10.10 they were in runway.
                                8/2 11.15 pm we met shift manager mr. Aarun and he confirmed that flight was never preponed and we were able to see in his computer the same.

                                  tickets rescheduling due to death in family

                                  I want to reschedule my trip to september due to death in my family but the airlines is charging rs. 2200 per ticket for rescheduling which was not specified earlier and now i might face huge losses as cancellation also is making the same amount of losses. Such inappropriate and unethical behaviour can hamper the image of the airlines as we might move to the consumer court and also press as such policy was not mentioned during the booking....

                                  Hello,

                                  My flight (Pnr-cyql9v) was first delayed and then got cancelled.
                                  I got 2 messages.in case of any cancellation due to any reason, the passengers have to be accommodated on other flights available on that day to the destination or by different routes. So i called to confirm the alternatives.
                                  Up to my surprise, the customer care executive told me that 'you denied alternate flight but chosen refund' and provided me some fake ip address. I got it now. They cancelled flights at last moment so that we book again at double amount.

                                  I would like to state. I haven't chosen any choice for refund, i want alternative for the cancelled flight from indigo's end. My next steps would be filing a lawsuit against this type of fraud.

                                    I was traveling from varoda to lucknow with connecting flight of indigo on similar pnr w92z8b the first flight was delayed due to weather due to which my connecting flight of same airline was missed. The airline did not arranged alternate flight i. Immediately due to which i have to sit full night on airport without sleep and food. Manager was missing on airport that time i called call centre too for help no was provided i asked ground staff for help who booked next day flight but still no accommodation or fooding provided. I can't sleep full night and waited for next day and suffered too much. Due to which i have to sleep next day full and got my professional loss of rs 50000. All due to mistake on part of airline i faced such loss.

In such situations, the passenger can either re-book on another IndiGo flight or cancel. As checked, our staff has accommodated you in the next available flight to Lucknow. Further, we are unable to initiate any compensation in this regard and hope you would understand.

                                    First of all I want to clear that Pilots who were handling flight 6E 2512 was just 40 Ft above the Runway as due to bad weather the flight was again take off by them. Is it a Mistake or Is it deliberately not following the instruction of ATC. I am very sure ATC had already warned the Indigo before landing but still pilots took risk to land. That on last moment the pilots was not able to land the flight was take off again. It can be dangerous for all the flight passengers in flight. I feel Its just a mistake on part of Indigo. i would request ATC of Delhi Airport to review the incidence.


                                    I would like to clear again that their was no efforts done by Indigo to accommodate in next alternate flight of other airline, I my self wasted my time and continuous have word with Shivani and Tabasum your ground staff in night they cooperated but still the Manager of Indigo was out of picture for giving me comfort.

                                    As the Mistake was on the part of Indigo as they did not let me board to next flight 6E 174 which was on 11 PM due to delayed schedule. I requested many times to ground staff but they replied that they were unable to help as Manager can only move my ticket to next flight 6E 174.

                                    I have to suffer full night and my next day was also ruined due to Indigo. further now indigo do not accepting his mistake and putting the life of passengers in risk and do not providing any compensation.

                                    I request to Complaint Forum to request ATC to review the landing attempt of 6E 2512 on 07.02.2019 and take strict action against indigo and also against his pilots for their mistake.

                                    it is further requested to forum to take necessary action for providing me compensation due to non providing me alternate flight of other airline and accommodation and meal due to their mistake.
