I rajiv mengi booked two tickets for jammu flight along with my wife who is a cancer patient. I reached t1 at 1.05 pm for the 2.10 pm flight. I tried to take out boarding pass from kiosks but the kiosks was not properly functioning. There was a huge line of customers to collect boarding passes so i stood there waiting for my turn. Only 3 counters were functional. When i reached the counter to get the boarding pass. I was denied the same by mentioning that i have come late to my utter disbelief. It was 1.28pm at that time, i was sent to another counter where the lady sitting at the counter even didnot bother to hear me. She did not entertain my request for cancellation of tickets even. I approached the floor manager mr subroto for help but he was so rude that he did not even bothered to hear my plight. This all gave me so much mental harassment. Since my wife is already a cancer patient and she was to see her doctor at 7 pm at jamnu which i could not do. I was denied the right to board a plane even when i was there on time, i have been left with no other option but to proceed legally against this systematic theft of hard earned money.

We are sorry to hear that you feel this way. Please know that check-in counter closes 45 mins prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight. Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time. In fact, they try to accommodate passengers who report marginally late. Also, we advise our passengers to reach the airport 2 hrs prior to the scheduled departure to avoid any last min hassle. Based on our records, you reported after counter closure. Hence, our staff was unable to accept you for the same flights.
Further, our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help you reach the destination, our airport team offered you to accommodate on the next flight subject to seat availability and payment of applicable charges, which was denied by you. We hope for your understanding.

    My wife was traveling with indigo and we got a msg saying if we change our flight to a later flight, they’ll issue a 8300 rupee voucher. We opted and took the option and my wife came in the flight which was 6 hours later. This happened on 20th jan 2019. My wife was told that the voucher would be duly sent on the registered email if within 24 hours. We trusted the airline and expected the voucher to come to us timely. After this, there have been numerous phone, email, twitter and even personal follow ups from our side and many promises from indigo’s side but absolutely no resolution yet. It’s a clear case of cheating and harresment.

    How does it matter if your customer service team is in touch ? they have not been able to solve the issue for the past 15 days. They are incompetent. In any case, it's me who's calling the customer care and they never bother to get back with any solution...so we are in touch with them and not the other way around.

    I Was travelling from Bhubaneswar to Bangalore on 29th January. The flight become delayed more than 3 hours. I was closed inside the flight in Hyderabad airport and wait inside flight for 2 hours to take up. I faced a lot problem because of this journey. Still those problems are not solved because of this journey. So I need some compensation.

      Hi,

      I was travelling from bangalore to jaipur by 6e 469 on 02.02.2019. The etd was 17.05 hrs and boarding was 16.20 hrs.

      The boarding was started at 16.30 and the bus was just roaming around airport. When asked to bus driver around 17.00 hrs than he informed that the flight is just landed and the ground staff has asked to roam around airport. I am writing the email at 17.05 hrs and still in the bus.

      This is harassment by airline staff where if any question asked to them get very rude reply.

      Please look into and help.

        My name is d s yadav my mother is traveling from allahabad to bangalore on 24 jan 2019 thursday. She is traveling alone nd first time. She reached check in counter nd scan the check in baggge. Scaning operater doubt for physical check. Two liquid bottles (4 ltr ghee and 1 ltr mustard oil) scaning operater removed the 2 ltr ghee nd 1 ltr mustard oil. He asked my mother this item is not allow in check in baggage the is banned list item in both baggage.
        So i requested u to send me check banned item list nd liquid is allow or not

          Received a mail on 24.12.2018 from group. [protected]@goindigoaviation.in reg that they are inviting new batch hiring with profile code as mg05 and in group ed10 and asked to submit cv after that received a mail on 26.12.2018 from hr. [protected]@goindigoairlines.org.in im which they gave a link of google docs to fill candidtae details and mentioned that going to conduct interview on 10th january where they asked to pay 900 as a security deposit to attend interview and money will be refunded again after 2 days recieved a similar mail on 29.12.2018 from profile. [protected]@carrer-goindigo.in

            My father-in-law who is a cancer patient and senior citizen availed the wheelchair service from Domestic Airport Mumbai .

            I enquired that it should be a free service but he told it's not free now.

              I got an interview call letter via email on 29th january 2019.
              The recruiter name was mr. Alok saxena (Designated as hr in indigo) with contact no. [protected], email - [protected]@hrgoindigo.in
              Asking me to refundable secuirity deposit amount rs.9650 in canara or punjab national bank and only after that i would get my job letter, flights tickets.

              Reason of doubt
              1. Provided email do not exist.
              2. Security deposit in his name and not in name of company.
              3. I checked all the hr leads in indigo, no person in his name.
              4. Called coorporate office of indigo and confirmed.
              5. The person is calling me multiple time asking me to deposit money as soon as possible.

                I traveled by 6e-675 from mumbai to chennai on 16/12/18 and noticed my newly purchased samsonite cabin bag was completely damaged. The ground staff officer mr shabeer 27816 registered a invoice for baggage replacement and promised that the bag shall be replaced with in 10 days. Now it is more than 45 days and there is no response from indigo officers.

                  Full description - i booked my air tickets via goibibo and had to cancel because it was via ahemdabad for return and i didn't want it and first was over the permissible visa dates. So i request you to refund me the deducted money since it was cancelled immediately. Rs - 11775, 11400 was reduced from my account and it's not a small amount to me. Please help with this issue.                       Please teach them good manners and how to treat customers. They don't even know the baggage size which is fittable in carry on. They are displeasing us when entering the airport reception till the baggage check in over. They don't have courtesy even if we carrying infant and luggage with us. Very disappointed approach. We will not recommend your flight services to any of our friends and we are not interested to continue our journey with you if you continue the same. Please take necessary action and revert back to me.

                        My son traveled by 6e 619with connecting flight 6e 719 from hyderabad to ahmedabad. He was to land at 1725h. He has now landed at 2230. The entire schedule of your flight has been misleading to the customers who booked in advance. Your promise of indigo always in time is untrustworthy. Due to the inconvenience caused now i’ll pay more than the ticket for the stay at ahmedabad. Further spoilt his early morning commitments.

                          We took a flight # 6e-1206 from columbo to pune via bengaluru. Pnr #: hc98ws. Return date: jan 26, 2019.
                          Upon our arrival home, we noticed that one of the bag had a blue
                          Sticker "security checked", we did not think much of it, until we emptied the bag and noticed that one of the crafts we had purchased from sri lanka goverment gift shop was missing. We had purchased 3 of the same item.

                          I do not have a problem having a "security check" done, but i am appauled that one of the baggage handler is not trustworthy and had purposely removed one of my items. I was understanding that this type of behavior was stopped and was illegal to withdraw any item from the bag.
                          Kindly look into this matter, as we are leaving today to go back home to usa.

                            We had 2 luggage bags. 1 was not getting opened even after we tried our password many times. Then after many attempts and hours wasted it got opened finally with the google of course. The other bag didn’t had the lock only. It was missing from the airport itself & we did complaint about it to the authorities and they said that the lock must be broken while the transferring process from plane to the conveyor belt but we let it go as we didn’t find anything missing. But the 1st bag was not getting opened and we are sure that someone has tried to open it and that’s the reason the bag was not opening it easily and quickly. Now we aren’t even sure what is missing from our bag and need answers and your help for the same. We will wait for your response asap. Thank you. Hope for your cooperation. Pnr - rbgp4v.                             We would like to clarify that the attached letter was not issued by IndiGo. On the same note, it is also pertinent to mention here that the Company does not indulge in the practices of collecting any processing/enrollment fees from job aspirants/candidates.

                            It is advisable for you to approach competent authorities for a parallel investigation into the matter against such unknown errant persons.

                              Dear sir,
                              I am chetan jain from rajkot gujarat. I have travelled from indigo on dated 18th jan 2018 from ahmedabad to kolkata and during my travelling the indigo airlines have mishandled my luggage and its broken.
                              I am in regular contact with customer care department and they always says one or the other reason and ask that i will get feedback after they got the confirmation from airport authorities arrival.
                              This is such a huge company but i don’t know is this the way to respond to their frequent traveller and not solving their problems on time.
                              I have called 4 times to customer care and they said that i will get the resolution within 24 hours but still i don’t got the resolution and believe me it takes normally half an hour to talk to specific department for getting feedback
                              I am surprised that such a huge company is following a worst process for satisfying their client by just giving low fares on tickets but unable to solve their complaints
                              The arrival person from indigo have given me the file reference number and he assured me that i will get my new bag as my bag was having a structural damage and it can’t be repaired so he assured me that i will get new bag and it will be couriered to me within 6-7 days but i feel ashame on these guys that they don’t have any proper answer for that.
                              I have no word for indigo what to say about this
                              I don’t got any call from the. From past 8 days and the customer care representative told me that they have tried but my number was not reacheable.
                              Shame on indigo

                              First of all I would like to tell you that you guys are useless.
                              I would like to give you Zero Rating with regards to customer complaints.
                              I have received a call and Mail from your end that you have already processed the NEFT and I will get the Money in my bank account which is already replied to you on 4th February 2019 but till date I don’t received money or any call from your end .
                              And your Customer Care representatives are so casual in solving customer complaints.
                              It’s Indian Market @IndigoAirlines we believe in words and Relationships and you people are spooking your Inage by just giving commitment and not full filling on time.
                              I just wanted to know that you send me mail stating that amount would be credited within 5-7 days but till date the commitment is over and I don’t received any money from your end.

                                Flight 6e469, dt-18/01/2019-dpt time -17.05 i had travel from bangalore to jaipur when i reached there my baggage not reached there and baggage exist from bangalore airport now, and arranged to collect baggage from bangalore airport on departure date 21j/01/2019 (Flight no : 6e556) your authority also send message about this matter to bangalore and promise to keep the baggage till departure dt when we reached bangalore, they informed to us this baggage send jaipur on 19/01/2019 flight - we not understand why this baggage send again to jaipur. They arranged this baggage return jaipur to bangalore on next flight (6e169, 22/01/2019, 6.25am) we believes your words and agree to wait till 22/01/2019. After plane landed, not replied correctly, finally afternoon they informed baggage not exist bangalore. I request send my baggage as early by parcel to this adress.                                   I had booked a flight from delhi to mumbai on jan 18, 2019 for 5.15 pm departure from delhi at around 1.19 pm that flight is cancelled due to bad weather however it was a sunny day & other airlines were plying passengers. Next available flight option was for 3pm & indigo was not giving alternate option through other airline. I had to stay additional day in delhi which costed htoel accommodation of approx inr 5000 & additional cost for booking next day morning flight inr 8, 408. Indigo is not cooperating to refund the amount.

                                    My wife had travelled from ranchi to udaipur via flight no.6e-398/6e-2148. During security checkup at delhi airport t2 she missed her mobile phone. After boarding the plane airhostess was immediately informed and there was time in takeoff. Nothing happened. She filed her complaint at udaipur airport with all relevant document at indigo counter. She was assured that she will get the phone. But it is surprising till date nothing has happened. Please look into it.

                                    6E 379 flight from Bangalore to Trivandrum is delayed for more than 6 hours because the pilot is not assigned. The flight crew is helpless and not responding to passenger concerns.
                                    This is appalling from an airline that commands major market share.

                                      This is by far the worst experience i have ever come across. My flight was said to departure at 7pm and i was at the airport 1 hour before and after reaching the counter for baggage drop, the indigo airlines staff says i can’t check in because i am late. I was well on time and after that, your staff wants to make more money and couldn’t even offer me the next flight. They said the next flight is full but they were giving seats of the next flight to other customers who were ready to pay. Highly dissapointed. Indigo has lost a customer forever.

                                      I Need the certificate at the earliest proof as I need to submit the same for LTA purpose.

                                      I went to your counter for help to accommodate me on the next flight, instead they were demanding for 20, 000 rupees to delhi one way to put me on the next flight and was blaming it is my mistake. If demanding more money is the way you accommodate passengers to the next flight even after telling them it’s an emergency, is by far the worst experience ever.
                                      That was my last travel with you guys.
