We had booked our flight from vishakhapatnam to ahmedabad.
Flight no. 6e809/719 on 12th january, 2019
Pnr lfs47g.
Originally the 6e719 was scheduled at 15 : 35,
But it was rescheduled at 20: 35.
The sudden change in flight timing created lots of difficulties for us, we were a group of senior citizens from vadodara. We reached ahmedabad very late and had to hire taxis to reach vadodara. Extra five hour stay at the airport was tremendously tiresome for all o[censored]s.
What were the reasons for this change? The message from indigo airline stated that it was due to operational reasons. What exactly were these operational reasons?
In addition, the temperature in the plane was much too high, inspite of pointing out this to staff, it was not corrected.
The staff also could not provide necessary food that was requested.
Poor service, very poor time management.

We would like to inform you that flight 6E 719 was diverted due to operational reasons and would like to state that our operations dependent on various factors such as runway availability, air traffic congestion etc. which are beyond our control and determine our on-time performance. We always strive to keep our flights on schedule and cut down on the causes of delay. But, if an IndiGo flight is cancelled or delayed for more than 2 hours or rescheduled for 1 hour earlier, you can either re-book on another Indigo flight or cancel. The re-booking is done at no extra charge and the entire amount is refunded in the case of cancellation. Nonetheless, we have taken your feedback into account regarding temperature on board to ensure a more hassle-free experience on your next journey with us. Further, we request you to share more details regarding food onboard.

      Sir I travelled from CJB TO CCU on 02/01/2019 by 6E 892(A320), my booking ref. no. is JLP5VE. Regret to inform you that inspite of availing fast forward facilty for which I paid also, my luggage came very late to the belt at Kolkata airport.

        fraud done by your employee shashank maharana

        Shashank maharana employee of indigo got rs12300 transfered to his account and did not book our tickets and has not refunded or returned our money, saying that indigo takes max 15 days to refund the money.
        This money was taken to book 2 tickets to and fro from delhi to dehradun dated 22nd dec 2018 to 25th dec2018 return.
        We have informed hr and sent email to bela chawla and kanika paul with proof. But of no use as they ignored...

        In a similar situation, i have been given the option to get full refund and the lower rate tickets were blocked and booked simulatenously from jet airways.

        Nobody has a duty to respond on unidentified requests / complaints, where the author does not dsclose his identity, without date / place of the events, attached related documents.
        They call and take my telephonic interview for the job of ground staff
        And send me conformation latter and told me to send 2250 send in which 1850 will be refunded to you and 400 will be of dress, indenfication card etc

          I have received a fake call letter to pay 9000/- please take an appropriate action for the same. The persons no. And bank details are mentioned herein.
          I have tried to contact indigo too but there is no such help desk for this matter so i submit the matter at this forum expecting that such fake things would come to end. I am also attaching the images with this description.

            Hi,
            On 10th january 2019, i called a mobile no which i got from google after searching for indigo office bangalore address. The person who picked the call was speaking only in hindi and he did not allow me to think also. I wanted to know about bulk bookings, he said, he will be sending one link where we get 30- 40% discount on bulk bookings. For this he took my card details, and transferred money to his paytm wallet. When i called him and checked, he said this is registration charges and the later the link will be received. But when i called him after 2 hours, he did not pick the call. Then i came to know it is a fraud in indigo's name. When i went through the reviews on google, there were many who lost their money.
            Kindly take out that address and number from google, so that others will be saved.
            Indigo should take action on this and refund my lost money. They have to check their contacts and update on google frequently, provide some direct numbers.

              I was booking my flight from jaipur to chennai through the indigo (Android) app but during the online payment the sum of rs. 12720/- for to and fro tickets booked in the name of hywyn singh and rose allen was deducted from my bank (Icici) but the ticket was not generated.

              Till date no sms nor any mail received for this.

              1. To make a call to the phone of the provider, who advertised to install a purely "fresh" their application - air carrier according to you.
              2. To introduc as follwos:-
              a. I paid for the reservation, but you have not issued the e-ticket
              b. Flight date: ...
              c. Flight number ...
              d. my full name (spell if any for operator)
              The operator shall ask your phone number or/and email address,
              where the air carrier is able to issue the ticket.

              Usually the above acts are is enoufgh to get the e-ticket due to the tech error.

              If the e-ticket is not issued, you need to submit the writeen / elctronic complaint for
              - refund, which is addressed to air carrier
              or
              - charge back, which is addressed to your bank - the card issuer
              You need to have saved the receipt ( document confirming transaction), your own complaint, the reply of air carrier, bank till the final resolution / satisfaction.

              If the complaint (refund/charge back) is not succeeed with 15 days (no eticket, no refund), you can bring the civil suite to the local court in your state, via laywer. Chargess start from 10000 for such type of cases.

                Dear sir

                I am your regular customer for domestic travel.

                On 28th dec. 18 morning i have tried online booking of indigo flight for pune to cochin for 3 passengers for 29.01.2019 and after being making online payment through net banking i got your message that pnr no. Wiystt on hold due to payment not received. By the time i received this message my account got debited and in normal course such payment is credited back to my account. As i got your payment error message that "hold" "need payment" i have made alternative booking for my above travel.

                Surprisingly thereafter i got your message and ticket for above travel is confirmed giving another pnr no. Khmq8q without my request. This confirmation is done without my consent and i would request you to cancel booking and refund me the total amount of rs.8919/- and credit to my account.

                You will appreciate that i am regular and genuine customer and not able to bear your cancellation charges.

                I look forward to hearing from you soon.

                The author has not produced the document,
                which shows any unauthorized transaction (receipt) and related reservation,
                which was stated on hold by anyone according to author.

                There is no duty of anyone to respond / pay money to purely unidentified person (full name, address, email) and to reply on uniidentified complaint, which do not show
                - place, date of the events
                - exact references number of the document
                - exact sum
                - exact request / claim.

                If you do not know, how to submit the complaint correctly, you have 2 options
                1. to forget about loss or
                2. to hire the legal professional for charge + own efforts.

                  The flight 6e2841 was supposed to take off from n delhi airport at 10.50 pm of 10th jan 2019. But at airport boarding started at 10.45 pm and in the cabin at 11.40 pm we are informed by air staff that it will be late by only another 15 minutes as one crew member is to to catch this flight from air india connecting flight. It is really embarrassing to keep waiting 180 passengers 2 hrs for a single crew member. Politely the crews serving complimentary tea than snacks to add salt to the woos.
                  Secondly i hv to catch tomorrow's chennai flight and surely i am going to miss my sleep tonight.
                  Who is to be blamed for this and who is going to take the responsibility.
                  Hope this will be properly redressed as i am taking a lot of pain for 4 hrs journey for 2 hrs payment. The flight started from nd at 12.48 am and landed bbsr 1.35 am
                  Hope it will be redressed properly.

                  It is not the Indigo Airlines site .

                  There is no prove that the passenger has paid for any e-ticket, holds the receipt and faced with the delay.
                  It is unclear, how the other 180 unknown passangers are related to the author of the complaint.

                  The legal complaint has to demonstrate at minimums:
                  - the full name of the passenger / address / e-mail /
                  - the addressee - the particulars of the entity, who had not provided the service,
                  - explanation which exact event had happned with notification of place and date,
                  - explanation of the fault of the service provider, if possible,
                  - the resaon of the dissatisfaction - the possible delay of the flight in such description.
                  - passenger request, which has to be expressed clearly in 1-2 sentances and in figures
                  towards air carrier

                  Further the passenger has to have / to own the documents, such as e-ticket, boarding pass, PNR
                  in his/hep possesion.

                  Nobody has a duty to look into / to reply on an unidentified complaint, which do not produce the above.

                  The is a standard compensation, which is foreseen in Indian law, if the delay is 2+ hours.
                  Irrespective of the above said, if the passenger had faced with the damage due to delay, the passenger must have the prove of the expence / harm due to such delay.

                  All claims regarding the delay of flight can be submitted to the local court not later than 2 years following the flight or following the reply on refusal to compensate for delay.

                  If the author does not knwow the corect procedure of the complaining, the author can hire a lawyer or a legal professional, which is able to explain, what is the author is enttled to, and to create and to submit the complaint on behalf of the autor. Such legal service is chargable.

                      There is no prove that anonymous passenger holding PNR DI3W9N Varanasi to Mumbai on unknown flight on unknown day.
                      The claim for baggage damage has to be submitted within 7 days followoing the flight of air carrier,
                      if the passenger holds in his hands:
                      - e-ticket,
                      - boarding pass,
                      - bag tag.

                      The legal complaint has to demonstrate at minimums:
                      - the full name of the passenger / address / e-mail /
                      - the addressee - the particulars of the entity, who had not provided the promissed service according,
                      - explanation which exact event had happned with notification of place and date,
                      - explanation of the fault of the service provider, if possible,
                      - passenger request, which has to be expressed clearly in 1-2 sentances and in figures.

                      Nobody has a duty to look into / to reply on purely anonymous complaints, which do not produce the above .

                        This is with regard to my saga of missing the flight, as per below details.

                        My booking ref. Zg4e7g, from bangalore to visakhapatnam.

                        Reached kempagowda airport at 3.39am (Reference my meru booking 57833108. On 29th dec, 2018). Cleared my boarding by 4015am, boarding pass ref. Seg. No.140, seat 5a, gate no.20. Completed my security checks by 0445am, proceed to gate no.20.

                        Now the story begins. When i reached the gate 20 at 0546am, i could see bubaneswar flight delayed, now boarding. I started waiting in front of the gate, but no passers for bhubaneswar were ready to pass the gate. After a while, they started the boarding, during the process i checked with the gate indigo personnel, what is the status of visakhapatnam flight? Then i was told that the flight time is already over and the gates were closed. The indigo personnel claims that they had announced the final call and also called my telephone (I am resident o[censored]ae, carry my uae mobile phone, which is given at the time of booking my ticket). Immediately, i showed them my telephone, there was no missed call on my phone. Finaly, i could not board the flight and i had to repurchase a ticket vide ref. Zg4e7g, departure time 12350hrs, on the same day. I had to wait in the airport 7 to 8 hrs.

                        Question: 1.

                        Indigo personnel knows very well i checked in and i have a valid boarding pass.

                        Question2.

                        The final call announcement was not done, otherwise i would not have waited at the gate for some, when i developed a suspicion about my flight to visakapatnam.

                        Question 3:

                        Why did indigo personnel changed the flight information (Bhubaneswar flight boarding - delayed), when i actually they were not boarding at 0546 hrs? Still, they should have shown visakhpatnam flight gate closed or final call over? At least, i could have approached the gate personnel at 0546hrs, so that some mitigation measures would have taken place.

                        Question 4:

                        Indigo should have given a free boarding pass to any other airlines, such as air india, spicejet which are flying via hyd, or chenai to visakhapatnam.

                        Instead they forced me to check out from the airport to buy a ticket, when my baggage was off loaded and lying in the open baggage section of airport area.

                        Question 5:

                        Am i stupid to miss my flight, when i traveled to the airport and reaching airport at 0339hrs. I booked my itinerary 2 months well in advance, it means my itinerary is 100% valid. Paid for my ticket rs.4234, indigo airline txn[protected], dt, 29th dec.

                        Summary:

                        The indigo personnel behaviour is not acceptable and no efforts have done to trace or locate the bonafide passenger, who has boarding pass. I could see some confusion at the gate 20, when couple of flights are mixed up at the same gate, and the bhubaneswar flight was delayed.

                        Along with me there was another passenger to visakhapatnam, who also missed the flight. Please investigate and check your records.

                        A lady with infant, travelling to bhubeneswar were also of the same case of missing the bhubaneswar flight.

                        There were many ways the indigo personnel could have averted and enable the passenger to board the flight, no positive attitude shown by personnel. Airline received their money, no caring the customer until a bonafide passenger completes his journey.

                        Please investigate and revert. I have all supporting documents, if necessary, i can scan and send it.

                        Very much disappointed with indigo, very unprofessional in enabling and managing bonafine passengers.

                        A bonafide traveler reaching airport at 0340hrs (preparing right from 0200hrs) to commute for one hour journey from the residence to airport, checked in at 0400hrs, reaching the Gate on time/exact time, misses flight which is supposed to depart at 0525hrs- how do you this situation? is something wrong with Airport ground operations or Airlines itself? The only defense or excuse where Indigo can claim, is that the passenger is sleeping the in airport or washroom for 1 to 2hrs????????????????????????????

                        We are sorry to hear that you feel this way. As per our policy, boarding gate closes 25 mins prior to the scheduled departure time. Our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time. In fact, they try to accommodate passengers who report marginally late. Please know that Bengaluru airport is a silent airport, hence we are not allowed to do the announcement. Therefore, our staff went beyond their prescribed call of duty and tried contacting you on the registered mobile number, however, the call was not connected. Since the boarding gates were already closed, our staff was unable to accept you for the same flight.
                        Our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times, with an intention to help you reach the destination, our airport team offered you to accommodate on the next available flight subject to payment of applicable charges, which were accepted by you.                         I introduced with public complaint of anonymous UAE passenger on the refusal to to board the flight at this site.
                        Nobody has a duty to reply on unidentified complaints, or anonymous complaint, or oral complaints.
                        The passenger can not claim anything if he was late for the flight due to his fault only, and the boarding pass has showed the timing cleraly.

                        Otherwise, the legal complaint has to demonstrate:
                        - the full name of the claimant / address / e-mail /
                        - the addressee - the particulars of the air carrier, who had not provided the promissed service,
                        - explanation which events had happned with place / date / time / flght number
                        - explanation, what is a fault of the air carrier in1-2 sentances,
                        - your request towards air carrier, which has to be expressed clearly in 1-2 sentances and in figures.

                        All above detals are absent in your text.

                        You have own the prove of loss and fault of the service provider such as :-
                        1. e-ticket + BORDING PASS for passenger
                        2. notice of the cancellation, if you have it.
                        3. Your own written complaint addressed to air carrier.
                        4. The reply of the the carrier, which has to be given in 15 days in order to support the future claim in the local court.
                        5. Any recept / e-ticket which you had paid in addition due to cancellation of the flight / refusal to board.

                        Time limit.
                        The complaints related to cancellation have to be submitted at air carrier/travel agent site or at the airport or in person not later 30 days or not later than in 1 year in all cases following the cancellation of the flight / denied boarding.
                        The recipient of the complaint (air carrier) must accept the complaint at their site or in person, and to issue the decsion on satisfacton or refusal to satisfy the claim on compensation within 15 days.
                        Usualy air carriers do not pay compensation.
                        It is usless to request the same from the addressee more than 2 times.

                        If your complaint is not satisfied in 15 days (no reply), you are entitled to hire a lawyer / or a legal professional for agreed fees in order to bring the civil sute to the local court or to the court abroad.

                        Based on you text, you will need the legal professional / lawyer for the agreed charge:
                        The charges/fees start from ~10000 ruppes for such type of cases, as you have described, if for Indian court + your own efforts.
                        There are different other charges in other countries, where the other air carrirs operate.

                        The fair court shall award all losses, compensation and paid fees by judgement.
                        The length of the court procedure is unpreducted, can last 1-2 years for such type of cases.

                        Time limit:
                        such types of claims can be submitted to the court not later than 1 year following the flight cancellation or of the reply of the air carrier or travel agent.

                        The fair court shall award the loss, moral harm and paid fees.

                          - the resaon of the dissatisfaction,

                          towards air carrier.

                          Further the passenger has to have / to own the documents, such as
                          - e-ticket of 13 digits
                          or
                          - PNR of 6 digits, along with the seperate receipt,
                          - boarding pass, if the complaint is realating to boarding anyhow,
                          - bag tag, if the complaint related to baggage,
                          in his possession.

                          Nobody has a duty to look into / to reply on an unidentified complaint, which do not produce the above.

                          The service provider has a duty to reply within 15 days on the correct legal complaint.

                          If the author does not knwow the corect procedure of the complaining, the author can hire a lawyer or a legal professional, which is able to explain, what is the author is enttled to, and to create and to submit the complaint on behalf of the autor. Such legal service is chargable.

                            I booked indigo three flight tickets on 09/01/2018.. From surat to chennai.. They charged nearby 4000x3 and money also debited from my account and after that also i got only trip id instead of pnr.. Same day evening they called and said ticket has been cancelled becoz of airline issue and we can't do anything.. I said ok and when i searched flights again i found same flight availble at 9800 rates per ticket.. Becoz of low rates they cancelled my tickets and for this also i have to wait for 15days to get my money.. If someone without money on bank booked like this and have to get trapped in surat itself.. So beware when you book low fare tickets.. I want to know whose trick is this indigo or happy easy go.. And some one plz suggest where to complain of this game..

                              You did not ask the assitance of others when you had receved the fraudlent letters.
                              Nobody forced to pay without the reconfirmation of the service.
                              The fraud is the type of crime, which investigation is a duty of the local police office in your village town.
                              You can claim to commence the criminal matter to the local police office in your town, if you submit prove of fraud.
                              The local police duty is to issue the decsion to you within 10 days following your correct and full complaint.

                              The rest advises can be given by legal professionals for charge.

                                I, Gaurav Kankani, had booked tickets for my flight to Australia via Kuala Lampur and Denpasar. IndiGo staff at Delhi International Airport refused to give me the boarding pass even though all my credentials were in order. Their staff said that they did not issue me the boarding pass saying that I am not having a visa whereas I was eligible for Transit Without Visa(TWOV). I have travelled by the same route while coming from Australia to India and I did not require any visas at all. Inspite of my repeated requests to speak to their superior personnel Mr. Dharamvir refused to do so and I had to miss my flight and my further connecting flights as well. I am missing out on my studies and due to this incident my entire trimester will get derailed. When I requested Mr. Dharamvir to give me a written statement regarding the reason for denial of my boarding he refused to do so and then another Indigo staff going by the name Pushkar threatened me to beat me up. I am sure all of this was done to me because of their vested interest.The airport staff was witness to this episode and suggested me to file a written complaint against the Indigo staff, when Mr. Dharamvir came to know of this he tried to stop me at the airport and even tried to snatch my phone.
                                P.S. the details about the TWOV are also mentioned here, http://www.klia2.info/trips/malaysia/malaysia-visa-information
                                on the Kuala Lumpur International Airport website. According to which I am eligible for the same.
                                I am also attaching the copy of my travel itinerary which has details of my tickets to and from Australia.
                                I urge you to take appropriate actions against the IndiGo airlines and their staff. Furthermore this entire episode took a toll on my health causing me to have a severe anxiety attack.

                                  Hi,
                                  I had travelled from Pune to Hyderabad with my 4 year old daughter on the 31st of dec 2018.
                                  PNR for which is IN8YRB.

                                  On receiving the bag in Hyderabad i was shocked to see that the bag had been torn apart from both the sides. There is no possible way that a bag can be mishandled in such a way that it gets torn this way. I immediately informed the ground staff regarding it and they offer me an indigo voucher of just Rs.1500 as compensation.

                                  Just to let you know, that my bag has been damaged beyond repair. The bag was hardly 8 months old and in excellent condition. The bag was a leather one and had costed me more than Rs. 5000. How does a compensation of Rs. 1500 justify for the damage.
                                  Moreover, the tear from both the sides was so big (around 8 inches)that things were falling out of the bag. I was not sure at the time of collecting the bag that what all could have gone missing from the bag. On raising this concern, i was told that i could go home and inform later if anything had gone missing.
                                  On a thorough searching of all my bags, i have realised that my spectacles case containg my pair of glasses has gone missing. They were a Tommy Hilfiger brand frames and had a value of more than Rs.14000.
                                  On finding this i called the customer service to inform them about it and what they told me was that they cannot offer anything more than 1500 voucher. I told her repeatedly that i Cannot accept such A petty amount as it is nothing compared to the loss that has incured. Also would like to comment on the behaviour of the representative who spoke to me. She was senseless and repeating the same thing and which was irrelevant to what the issue was. The airlines has simply denied to take any responsibility of mishandling and pilferage and have refused to look into the matter any further. May be someone had tried to tear the bag hoping to find something as the bag had tags from the international journey taken 2 days before this trip. As this irreparable damage has been done by the airlines, they should take the responsibilty of either providing a replacement bag of equal value or provide an appropriate compensation.
                                  And for the missing frames, they could have either assured that they will tleast try to trace the lost item. But they were least bothered and did not want to do anything from their side. The frame value are of around Rs. 14000 and i expect that they provide an appropriate compensation or replacement for the same.

                                  I had received a communication from the airline that this damage comes under minor wear and tear. However, i had mentioned earlier also that i could pass my head though it. I had received the bag in a torn state with all the things in a tray. Now, instead of providing with an appropriate compensation, the airlines is trying to wash of thier hand and denying any responsibility. The bag has been damaged feom both the sides. On one side the tear is of 11 inches and on the other side its of 10 inches. If they still call it a minor tear, then i must say that they have set a benchmark such that they can never be held responsible for any mishandling and can just continue to follow wrong practices and escape from the consequences. Ultimately, its the customers who suffer and bear the losses.

                                  From the pictures shared, does it look like a small scratch or a normal wear and tear of the bag. Your policy says that airlines are not responsible for small scratches or torn zip. But such a big damage is some something for which you cannot deny responsibility. Its an intentional tear for reasons better known to you may be. And what about my missing frames, not once in the entire interaction has anyone assured that they will try to find it.

                                    Faced a very bad experience on the indigo jaipur-kolkata flight. Everyone on board the jaipur to kolkata indigo 6e-237 flight had a narrow escape with death. The cabin started filling up with smoke, which made breathing difficult. The horrible part was no oxygen masks got deployed down. Adding more to chaos, the crew was falling short of supplying handheld oxygen cylinders to passengers who were finding it difficult to breath. All the passengers feared for their lives since the smoke kept filling up the cabin. Seeing such a dire incident in the flight, i was constantly praying to god to help us land safe so i could see my parents and grandparents at a family event for which i was travelling to kolkata. Somehow 30 dreadful minutes passed in flight and as the flight neared the airport, the smoke in the cabin had already swallowed-up all the visibility in the cabin of the indigo flight and many o[censored]s had reconciled to our fate! Now at this time, already some passengers were running out of breath. Finally, the flight landed but that was not the end of the torturing on board experience. We were forced to exit in a haphazard manner without proper assistance. Everyone was pushing hard for their lives and now the crew had totally lost the chance to accommodate exit in a safe manner since they were busy on their own. Running down the cabin we came down through the chute in the emergency exit at the back of the aircraft. Due to this i and one of my family members got some bruises and scratches all over the body. I know this was indigo's new airbus aircraft but i’m sure this was my last experience flying in it. Goodbye indigo, friends do not ever think of indigo again to fly. I would request to refrain flying indigo if you really value your money, life, and family.

Flight 6E-237 Jaipur-Kolkata made an emergency landing as a precaution at Kolkata due to suspected smoke in the cabin. The flight landed safely at Kolkata.
