    I booked a room in hotel oyo flagship 807771 midnight inn on 30th April through oyo app. My booking ID is O33Z6092. I paid booking amount through app but when I reached hotel, they told me that booking is invalid and if I want to checkin I will have to pay extra tariff charges which is not mentioned anywhere in the oyo. As I had no other option, I had to pay extra charges i.e. 1076₹ apart from 424₹ which I paid while booking, so total bill was summed up to 1500. When I asked for bill, they told me that they will provide at checkout but during checkout manager was not there and also support staff was not ready to give bill. Even though I am sharing screenshot of payment done by me. This is totally not expected from oyo. I just want refund for extra money that I paid which is 1076₹ as soon as possible. Resolve my issue as soon as possible.

        I booked oyo room in Collection O Hotel Green City on 30th April through oyo app. My booking ID is K8OZ4688. But after reaching hotel for checkin, they told me that they no longer have tieup with oyo so they can't provide me room. I contacted oyo customer care service and your executive told me that you will get refund of your booking and he is providing me booking at another hotel so I followed his instructions and he made booking for me at Oyo flagship 811395 Star Inn hotel with booking ID AN5S5904. But when I reached to the exact location via google maps, no such hotel was there. I called to hotel property but they were not answering my calls. I contacted oyo customer service and they only put my calls on hold for 3-4 times for 10-15 mins without replying saying they are contacting hotel. Both my bookings were bogus as I was not been able to find one. I want refund of my both bookings immediately as even oyo consumer service is also providing fake booking saying it is their own property. This kind of service is not expected from oyo. Still Hotel Green is showing available on app, but in actual oyo has no tieup with the hotel. Please refund my booking amounts for both bookings immediately.

          Hi,
          I had made a booking for staying at Collection O Tierra Woods, HBR Layout, Bangalore-560043 between April 19-20 and made payment through Google Pay for Rs 845 (Booking ID: TYVN6415).
          But once I reached the hotel, I got asked to pay extra amount of Rs 800 (because my booking amount of Rs 845 didn't match the usual one day hotel tariff which they were charging usually). Only after paying extra amount was I allowed check-in despite already paying full amount while booking through OYO customer call service.
          Attached is the Google Pay screenshot of the extra amount which I paid at the hotel.
          Please assist me in getting back the extra amount of Rs 800 which I had paid.

            To summarize the issue, this has reference to Booking Id: T9TA9571. I made a hotel booking through Oyo Rooms upon making full payment. However, on the day of the stay ( 16th Mar, 2023), the booked hotel denied service citing it's overoccupancy. Thereafter, immediately I raised the ticket at Oyo customer support to refund the booking amount. Following my first refund request, I have already made umpteen reminders to the Oyo team through mail and as well reaching out to the customer care number. But, the response is really dismal to say the least. The mail chain entailing the communication in this regard is hereby attached.

            Even more annoying is the fact that upon calling Oyo's customer care number, once the Oyo customer service representative figures out why I'm calling in the first 5–10 minutes, he or she hangs up on me or puts me on hold indefinitely on the pretext that it takes few cross-departmental approvals to process the refund. This call cycle has happened umpteen number of times consuming at least 2-3 cumulative hours of my precious time.

            Furthermore, even upon recent logging through the Oyo App, it furnishes that there isn’t any existing refund ticket pertaining to the booking id (refer the attached snapshot of messaging with Oyo help Assistant on 29th April, 2023).
            All the aforementioned pieces of evidence showcase a clear lack of intent on the part of Oyo to refund the amount for a clear cut case of refund. The fact that Oyo customer care team acknowledged the refund process
            (refer mail chain) bolsters this fact.

            Since Oyo Rooms is aggressively trying to position itself to cater to a wider Indian hospitality market, this is a clear breach of trust from Team Oyo, and an imminent sign that this will happen to many more gullible customers in the future. The shady and unclear way with which Oyo functions should be nipped at the bud.

            I sincerely request Consumer Forum to gravely look into the subject matter and take it up with team Oyo to amicably resolve the issue.

                i have book room for 2 days with amount of 1053 from 27 april to 29 april with booking id ID: U8U03896 at hotel sky view in surat. at time of check hotel manager denied me for check in and not allow me i have given complain to hotel with Ticket ID: [protected] for refund after 2 days today on 29th april they not give me refund and also don"t given me any other property and told me that they investigate issues and hotel allow me for check in but it"s not true, if hotel allow me then i need some ledger of entry and other proof of my staying there at propert/. plese look into this matter seriously and banned oyoroom for this fraud as morethen 100000 people are suffering from this issues of oyo.

                  A late model gold colored pickup truck with a decal on the back believed to be owned by a young male employee is coming going and going with a unreasonable amount of extreme bass pumping out of the vehicle making resting difficult, please ask them to refrain from having it on or turn it down to a more reasonable level when coming and going thank you.

                    I booked a hotel through OYOROOMS for 3 days dated 12th, 13th and 14th April 2023 and for that I made payment through ICICI credit card of Rs 2588 with reference number [protected] on 9.04.2023 with Booking ID -L4PH3605.

                    Because the rooms were dirty, I asked hotel to cancel the booking. The hotel cancelled the booking on 12.04.2023 and drop mail to me by [protected]@oyorooms.com and said that money will be reversed in within 7-14 days. The maximum time of 14 days have passed but they have not refunded the money.

                      I booked my hotel from OYO Rooms for April 28 2023 but i cancelled that on 24th April 2023. The app shows that they have initiated a refund but it is not reflecting on my account. I tried to call OYO a lot of time but they didn't tried to resolve my issue. Everytime they are transferring my call to an automated call or they are just putting me on hold.
                      My Booking ID is SJD64137.

                        Another Fraud experienced with Oyo Rooms. We made advance payment as requested by support executive over call to confirm our booking. On arrival hotel denied to provide us rooms stating no rooms available. Received email from OYO stating we didn't show up. Please refer to the attached pdf.
                        As per email received on 4thSep, after deducting the cancellation charges of ₹1078, refund amount calculated is ₹120. We haven't received any refund yet. Please help me to get a full refund on this booking as the OYO Rooms is making a false statement that we didn't show up.
                        Please look into this issue as OYO ROOMS has cheated on us with this booking. Without any investigation they gave false resolution.
                        Can we expect any update and some strict action against @oyorooms for not looking into this issue.
                        We posted it on Twitter as well tagging @oyorooms and they responded that the query is already resolved at their end, without even providing any resolution or contacting us.

                        This is clearly a big scam where OYO is pressurizing us to make the advance payments on call when we try to book a hotel room through OYO app. When the payment is received at OYO end (hotel room is not actually booked as the hotel receptionist say that we are no longer associated with OYO) and when we try to check-in in the hotel, hotelier says that you don't have any booking here and we can't give you a room and next day we receive an email(attached here) from OYO stating that it was a no show at the hotel from our side.

                        The data is getting leaked from this portal. After filing my complaint against OYO here on 25th April, I received a fraud call from someone on 26th who pretended to be calling from OYO to provide the refund and he misled me such a way that he withdrew 20000 Rs from my account.

                        Who is responsible for this data leak???
                        Such a shame on the administration of this portal.

                          I had cancelled a booking that I made via the Oyo app. The booking was cancelled well before the free cancellation period. I was supposed to recieve the refund 7-14 days after cancellation. Its been more than two weeks and I haven't recieved my refund. I have called and requested for the refund at the OYO customer care several times and they always either keep me on hold and then cut the call or tell me that it is still being processed. I would request Oyo to look into this and process the refund ASAP

                            I booked a hotel in Pune thru oyo on 18th April and paid advance of rs 202.

                            When i went to the hotel, the hotel people send they are not supporting Oyo.

                            I called oyo many a times for refund, they say they are processing and end the call.

                            My booking ID was 02MV1303.

                            Please do the needful.

                              On 13/4/23 at 6:18 pm I booked 2 rooms for my family paying Rs 1041 wide booking ID IZLT8803 for one night. When we reached property around 11:30 pm the property manager refused our booking and demanded Rs 2000 for stay. I called OTO complaint number and argue for 1 hour and 30 minutes but were unable to resolve the issue, you can check with your recorded calls at your end. Finally I conclude that OYO has stated such type of cheating with OYO customer by giving cheaper booking online and then not allowing rooms. Once customers reaches property then collect money as they want. I request refund my rs 1041 paid online and also Rs 2000 paid further to property manager. If you don’t resolve the issue I will go to consumer court and also file a FIR towards cheating with me. Call me if further any clarification required

                                I had booked a hotel room under oyo rooms Dated on 20.04.2021.Booking id are as follows( WW947351).I made an online payment of rupees 799 towards the room after seeing the picture posted in the oyo app.When i reached the hotel, the hotel manager stated that i had booked a dormitry and has charged an extra amount of rupees 700 in cash at the hotel.Despite of paying an additional amount of rs 700 which makes it to total of 1500(Ie 799 in oyo app and rs 700 in cash at the hotel), the room that was provided to me was way below the images that has been displayed in the oyo app.When i contacted the customer care regarding the same and they have made and enquiry to the hotel, the hotel manager has refused the fact that he has charged an extra amount.
                                The two issues i would like to raise on this account are-
                                1.Charging of extra amount in cash at the hotel by misleading the customer
                                2.Mismatch of the photos of the actual room and the photos depicted in the picture in oyo app
                                All the evidences regarding the booking in the room, the photo displayed under oyo app, the online reviews of the hotel in question, the actual pictures of the room alloted are attached for your further reference

                                  I booked hotel Collection O Pearl Inns Executive Near Phoenix Marketcity - Viman Nagar via oyo phone app for my parents and the booking was confirmed after payment was made by me online.
                                  When my parents arrived at the hotel, they were denied checkin saying that we don’t take oyo bookings and hotel asked them to pay double the amount for the room which is ₹1500. As it was late in the night, they had to book the room at double the price.
                                  I have called oyo customer service multiple times. Each time they ensured that a refund will be processed and then disconnected the call. I also wrote emails but no response from oyo.
                                  This is a pathetic experience for user. Please process my refund of 1500₹ asap and take appropriate measures to delist any such hotels from oyo.

                                    Hello,

                                    Yes, finally after writing many emails and many disconnected calls, I got a refund of ₹727 as opposed to what I had to pay to book room at night time. Kindly provide a refund of remaining amount. My parents were asked to pay 1500₹ from hotel.
                                    It was already a pathetic experience that they were denied service after paying online. It is not acceptable that you just refund online amount after we went through such a terrible experience.

                                      I booked a room in hotel orient comfort on 15th April through oyo app. My booking ID is PP960847. I paid booking amount through app but when I reached hotel, they told me that booking is invalid and if I want to checkin I will have to pay extra tariff charges which is not mentioned anywhere in the oyo. As I had no other option, I had to pay extra charges i.e. 772₹ apart from 428₹ which I paid while booking, so total bill was summed up to 1200. They also refused to give me bill. Even though I am sharing screenshot of payment done by me. This is totally not expected from oyo. I just want refund for extra money that I paid which is 772₹ as soon as possible. Oyo is refusing for refund as hotel manager is not ready to accept that he took extra money. Also he asked to pay either cash or do transaction on some QR code which was linked to an unanimous person account.

                                        Booking ID - PBF16912
                                        I booked a room for[protected] in collection o 810674 gani home stay . I paid Rs1018 and when I went to the hotel they denied my checkin by stating it’s of low fare and asked for extra Rs 900 . When I said I can’t pay that much they said we cannot checkin and we have told OYO customer care to not give any bookings for next ten days as their hotel is prebooked by some people for function . I called OYO customer care and they said they will validate and initiate for refund . Today I received a mail stating

                                        “ Hello
                                        This email is regarding your escalation for Booking ID: PBF16912 on the property ID: CHN2070 for Check-In Issue
                                        We regret to inform you that upon investigation with our hotel partner, we could not validate your claim.
                                        Hence, we will not be able to process your refund. You can reach out to us for further assistance.
                                        Regards OYO Customer Care“

                                        I wanted to know what investigation has been done from OYO side. I wanted to get the refund . I am attaching the image for the proof that I stood outside the hotel after they declined my checkin . Serious action should be taken on the hotel .
