I had booked 1 room using OYO app in "OYO 14532 Hotel Avisha Residency" on 15th June 2019
First thing happened was that the transaction of Rs 1500 was done twice, one was refunded. After few hours we cancelled the booking and claimed for refund.
They said that the money will be refunded in 10-12 days but, now after so many days the money was not refunded.
We called to customer care many times but after picking up the call they say to hold on which takes a lot of time (30 mins). After the discussion with the manager which picks the call, he says that your money will not be refunded.
We called them so much time, but they says that money will not be refunded.
What should I do now, my Rs 1500 hit wasted.

    Hi,

    I was living in oyo living 23739 nagawara, bangalore until the month of march. I had vacated the property by the end of march. By mistake i had paid the rent for the month of april amounting to 7500.

    I have raised numerous tickets and talked to various customer care, all they say is give us sometime to process it but it's been more than 3 months and i haven't received my refund yet. Please look into the issue its very urgent.

    My booking id is 1650
    The tickets raised are 6414 and 10916

    The last update was oyo asking my bank details but there has been no response since then. Please look into the matter.

    I have received my security deposit but not the rent amount

      I booked a hotel on 2nd july for 1 person in delhi with booking id - qxbl4867
      My charges for the same was rs 756, when i reached the hotel the receptionist completely denied my check inn and asked me to talk to oyo only for this costing, he was asking me to take a direct booking for rs 1500. I had a word in oyo customer care, they promised me to provide me another room in same area for which i waited 30 mins. After that i called them again & again & again but no one gave me any solution. The only reply i got was "our escalation team will call you soon" so after a long wait not getting any resolution for my previous booking, i booked another hotel through oyo call center and not through the oyo application this time, again i went to the oyo hotel booking id - liyh1458, shockingly it was an underconstruction banquet hall, by my best efforts i found a guy there who was the receptionist and again i was denied for check inn as there rooms are under construction with no electricity and other amenities. From my first booking at 9pm till my last effort at 1am and continuous follow up with oyo call center i got so irritated exhausted & depressed from this so called brand oyo that i slept for the night in my car.
      I have a question for oyo, if you cannot provide bookings in that cost, if you dont have command with you hotel tie upps, your company do not pay enough salary to employees to check with your customers weather they got a room or not, they even do not care to follow upp, why so big hoardings ever where, is this just a money making business or is oyo actually a little sensible about what hospitality is.
      I am filing a case against oyo for harassment and mental agony

        I booked oyo hotel ivy resort, shimla for 2 nights, i. E 30/6/19 and 1/7/19. I paid half rent online and rest was paid by me at hotel. We paid for 2 nights but we stayed there for one night only because the room was too dirty and they didn't even provide us breakfast even though it was mentioned when we booked hotel. I asked hotel manager for refund of money but they said that to discuss with oyo customer care but i didn't get any response from there too. Had very bad experience with oyo and we want refund of money asap.

          Multiple problems: rooms are dirty, not hygienic, insects, mosquito, lack of cooperation from local support staff, room & swimming pool size are much smaller than claimed in review, as well no where matching the look & feel as shown at website. Also oyo did not mention that this facility is there at 3rd floor without lift.
          Initially we booked these 3 rooms for 4 nights (1 to 5 th july). Immediately when we reached location at 5pm asked for cancellation, talked to multiple people at oyo like debashish, vivek, siva etc but all our genuine effort and justification gone waste, we lost our quality sight seen time.

          We booked this facility for rs 17698/- for 4 nights, i am big surprised when you charged us for rs 11833/- in spite of the fact that we just tried to stay 1 night (1st july) in tough conditions. On 2nd july we moved another place - acron seaway resort next to your home. You local staff don't allow us to do checkout on 2nd inspite of the fact that we paid from 2nd onwards to acron seaway resort. Requesting you to immediately refund our full amount

            Till this time i have not received any call in regard to resolution of my compliant. Request to kindly look into
            I am describing my issue for suitable consideration by oyo
            I have done booking at oyo rooms from 06.07.19 to 10.07.19 (5 days) under 5 id's on 27.05.2019
            Mkhc6107 in balaji international, vellore (Oyo 39434) for rs 1300 (Payment already paid) (Period of stay 06-07 july)
            Bwcm7820 in banu residency, vellore (Oyo 8053) for rs 1767 (Period of stay 07-08 july)
            Rph02734 in balaji international, vellore (Oyo 39434 for rs 1201 (Period of stay 08-09 july)
            Kncy1304 in banu residency, vellore (Oyo 8053) for rs 1482 (Period of stay 09-10 july)
            Bcgd1359 in banu residency, vellore (Oyo 8053) for rs 1668 (Period of stay 10-11 july)

            On 02.07.19 morning, my booking for 6th july was shifted to banu residency citing reasons of issue with balaji international property.
            On 02.07.19, afternoon, my booking for 6th july was again shifted to cs residency (Not acceptable to me)
            On 02.07.19, afternoon, my booking for 7th july was shifted to balaji international & hotel charges are showing rs 3000

            Please note that, my booking for my stay period to be maintained only at banu residency or balaji international. Oyo is requested to kindly provide me the resolution at the earliest else it will be treated as breach & failure of services by oyo, which shall not be in the true spirit of professionalism.
            Early resolution in this regard is sought from oyo.

            The Royal Star Cafe OYO 36433 booking id-DTWK1956 I stayed in had dirty room, dirty toilet...the managers and staff had their own rude attitude when I complained about it...
            Kindly make surprise checks of your affiliated hotels to ensure that they are following the OYO standards...

              I have booked two rooms consequent days and checked in hotel at 6am of second day instead of first day... Hotel guy refused to checkin me with my first booking id and asked me to pay early check in fee and then take a room for second booking... He asked us to cancel first day room instead... But its not possible to cancel in app.. Wen contacted customer care many times they r cutting call after listening whole story.. Now i was charged for a room without checkin and extra early checking fee for second room... Plz help me as oyo hotel person is telling i dont know,, im in different shift and the person who told us is not picking call... Even out customer care is not responding... Even paid for commentary breakfast but he refused to give... Also staff is so rude..ac and tv is not working,,, no water and power backup atleast..

                  I have booked room in hotel id 11682 for 4 guest 2 room from 2nd to 4th july. Make payment through credit card 3544 indian rupee.Hotel didn't allow check in .I have called to Oyo customer care at about11:00 am Oyo booked hotel with id3688.
                  Above all takes 2 to 4 hours this caused highly inconvenience to my guest who came from Maharashtra.
                  At about 9 pm I have received call from Oyo saying money didn't received by Oyo however at first complain call during morning your representative said money refund process has been registered.
                  This all caused much disappointed to us kindly refund money at the earliest and black list your above mentioned property .
                  Otherwise I will put file in consumer court.
                  I hope you will honor my request and resolve my issue within one day of receiving my mail.

                    Today I booked any OYO from the mobile number [protected] with Booking Id BFZN9173 on 2nd July, 2019 till 3rd July, 2019. When i arrived at the hotel, I made the payment via Phonepe. My money was deducted but the hotel didnt recieve. After talking to the customer care, my booking was automatically cancelled without ny notice.
                    I recalled them about this cancellation and they said they tried to contact me and after my payment they cancelled it without my information. On thenother hand, I didnt recieve any call from Oyo. And they said they cant do anything about it.

                    I called customer care and he promised me to book an Oyo within the same price range. And He booked it at rs 818 from the number [protected]. The booking Id is KFPC0243
                    1) When I came here, they gave us a single room in the name of a Classic 2X room for double sharing.
                    2) They even gave me regular water and said that would be chargeable because that was mineral water. The service is horrible.
                    3) There is a lot of dust in the room. The room is not well maintained.
                    4) Even the bathroom did not have lights. Even after informing twice, they didnt take it seriously. After the 3rd time, they provide the lights in the bathroom.

                      I have booked hotel brijvasi place booking id srmk9713. Oyo 37897 hotel brijvasi place owner mr sanjay agarwal misbehaved with us and also the rooms which were shown are not upto mark. They are not properly cleaned and also still it is under-construction. When we asked about this. Mr sanjay said that to discuss with oyo team. And we contacted oyo team mr. Debankar manager also not properly supported us and we have a very bad experience with oyo and we want refund of money.
                      Details of booking are dated - 28 june 2019 booked by mr. Amit.

                        I booked two rooms in a hotel through Oyo . I was traveling with my family including ladies and small kids. I was also given assurance about hotel by an Oyo assistant.
                        When I reached hotel, I found that hotel was in very bad condition.
                        There was no hoarding or indication of the hotel which made it difficult to find it . Moreover the hotel was smelling foul, the staff boys seemed to be very unprofessional and ill minded .
                        It didn't seem to be a hotel, it was cheap place !
                        I was not convinced to stay at that hotel with my family . I wonder how Oyo can tie up with such hotels .

                        Then I talked to the Oyo assistant for changing the hotel, but it proved to be of no use .
                        He was unable to suggest me a hotel in the nearby locality and also he was continuously telling me names of new hotels, followed by - "sorry, some error occurred and I'm telling you New hotel " and he was again and again asking my information . That Oyo assistant was literally irritating .
                        Then I was forced to take up a hotel after searching a lot on my own on the roads of delhi .
                        The hotel which I booked was - hotel diamond delux near punjabi bagh.
                        I also did advance payment and I demand refund of money . ₹6600/-

                          Oyo rooms is a scam, their customer representatives claim that they have raised a ticket and our refund will be initiated, but it doesn't. We called a lot of times, but they all claim the same thing again and again. I haven't recieved my refund even after being promised by their customer representatives.

                          Money is very hard earned. I want it back. I want my time back which i spent calling for hours, i want all that energy i spent back.

                          We always strive to deliver the best service to our customers and a sincere apology if you have not been satisfied with your experience. Kindly share the requisite booking details with us.
                          It is a full scam. I was with my family with a scheduled booking when I was about to reach to hotels. I called the hotel and they denied that they didn't accept OYO bookings. I called to Oyo and they convince me to have another hotel and I booked it again, I went to the hotel with my family and the hotel has again denied for OYO booking. I called around 15 times to OYO but there is a connection issue started.

                          What a day! I never forget I was with my family without booking, felt terrible and OYO suggests to cancel the booking and approach for a refund and certainly did! They said that provide a refund in 7-14 days. Sucks, why my money reserved for them without having a booking.

                          Still, I waited, it's been 16+ days and today OYO told me to wait for another 7-14 days as your refund has been initiated! I mean what the ### is! What would I keep asking for my own money 100 times with OYO?

                          I contacted on Twitter and they said please SHARE YOUR booking iD, I did! and what they reply, kindly wait for 7-14 days and you will get your refund.

                          I am really tired of contacting them and submitting this issue here to aware many other people who are yet not get cheated but soon they will. Be aware guys, OYO is something else we can't understand!

                            My booking ID is DKVP1435, I have booked at the Shambahavi Hotel UDUPI 23534. When I went to check in, the receptionist denied this booking because they have tariff issues with OYO . I had bad experience right there. Then I tried to reach OYO customer care executive to arrange alternative o refund the amount. Very poor response and they cut the call without providing any solution. And also they transfer my call to Senior executive, I had to hold the phone for more than 30 minutes It didn't connect to them or they said they will arrange phone call for refund process. I did like 5 times but still didn't get any response. So kindly help to resolve the problem. I need refund my money or need to think something else. I am not allowing fool people like this.

                              I ordered oyo rooms (Jass hospitality) on june 29, i went there 3rd time in past 2 months. Whenever i visit there, they say that they don't have light and this is the only reason which i get to hear. I am not sure but they are seriously doing black business there. Then i contacted oyo like earlier,, they said cancel this one and bookd another, i booked another oyo that was around 10-12 kms away roaming in that # summer whole day and when i reached there (Yash residency) people around there said it doesn't even exist there from long time. Then why it is showing on your app? Them they booked one oyo for me which was around 4-5 kilometers away i reached there, they don't have parking, they dont have water in there taps and they charged me 664 rs. It was so frustrating day for me and they said they will provide credit additonal to refund when i will check out but earlier i got 25% refund at the the time they shifted my oyo. And now they said they will provide once illl check out. Then in the evening i checked and called your number, they said it's after 9 pm, they won't be able to provide credits now as there team who approve refund request is available till 9 pm andhe said that you can call tomorrow anytime and will surely provide u the credit. Then i called today. I asked the agent to transfer the call to supervisor for refund then he added 3 customers in a queue where we were waiting from past 15 min and nobody showed up. The another customer was waiting from past 30 min. It was so # bad day for me and you are not refunding my whole amount? Only amount that i paid through card? My amount got deducted from wallet as well and i dont have any status for second oyo. I started searching oyo on 29th at 12 pm and got last one at 4 pm. You are not even providing me any credits? What type of customer service is this? I too work for customer service company and you have to compensate when cx face inconvenience due to the company.

                                Hello team,

                                My booking id (Wfsp0742), hotel - oyo townhouse 092 ashray, every room has complimentary goodies basket and exclusive snacks provided at the time of check in.
                                Well i was not provided with it, when i informed to the manager, he told it is chargeable and you have to pay for it. And he was too rude, and used bad words regarding it.

                                There was problem in door lock access through card, it take 5 to 10 minutes to unlock the door. This same was informed to the manager, but he didn't find any solution.

                                This both problem ruin my stay. Kindly provide me the refund on the basis of this problem.

                                My oyo experience is very poor and never suggest any person to book Oyo rooms
                                How does it feel after refusing the room booked at 1:00 am night in front of the hotel.
                                The hotelman told me that you talk to the Oyo, we have rent our room
                                I booked OYO room having booking ID IGKW8306 and did online payment too but hotel owner denied the check in due to that I resorted to cancel the booking. Now OYO is not returning my money back.

                                The hotels provide by you are very bad Forcing they said us to give ratings . ... Hotel Pulkashi in Bangalore and Hotel Shiv Shakti Inn in ooty ... U had charge from us 3 adults but they provide us one bed . We stay their for 2 days. THEY DID NOT EVEN CLEAN THE ROOM ON 2ND DAY... We will never prefer OYO next time .
                                Me and my friend have visited Oyo room (Balaji lodge)warangal. We have asked for a room . They acted very rude towords us and we started questioning them, then they used unprofessional language towords us and the person who is sitting in the counter slapped one of my friend, then after we left that place, and we need immidiate action towrds them

                                  Reception denied check in as they get less amount against this booking. Booking amount was ₹561.00/- that i already paid during booking to oyo. But as i reached at hotel, the person at reception denied this booking and after discussion he offer me room in ₹ 1800.00/-. As i've not any option for another hotel nearby this and i took up this deal in ₹ 1800.00/- for 2 days (₹900.00/- per day).
                                  I want my money ₹561.00/- back from oyo.

                                  I hv received a confirmation call from Oyo but I hv never booked any room

                                  Room was horrible, bathroom was not clean, room was stinking, no toiletries was there, when asked they said they will charge.horrible experience.
                                  I booked a room by oyo but there i get a water bottle which you can see in attachment, plz check it and take a necessary action.

                                    Dear sir/ ma'am

                                    Hotel authorities of oyo9046 hotel metro star refused to do the check-in when advance prepaid booking for the same is done via oyo app.

                                    Booking id is: lbvj2735

                                    The hotel authorites refuse to acknowledge that they accept online payment. They keep on saying that they deal in cash only.

                                    The contact number of oyo captain mr. Naved nadeem was not available by oyo customer care.

                                    Where to go in such a case in middle of the night and in an unknown place?

                                    There is no help from oyo customer care we tried to reach out to them for help for 2 hours they keep on saying that they are sorry for inconvenience and they are going to transfer the call to senior management but in 2 to 3 minutes the call got disconnected.

                                    Worst experience ever.

                                    What to do now?

                                    Does oyo even care?

                                    We will file a mental harassment case against both hotel authrities and oyo management in the consumer court.

                                    I hope oyo can make suitable amendments to make sure that oyo captain is there in the morning to look into the matter.

                                    If oyo want to resolve this issue they need to come up with some sort of system where if hotel authorities deny room to any customer then oyo captain can be contacted and must reach there in person within an hour. STRICTLY.
                                    We don't want legal action, we want solution for the stranded guests of oyo rooms.

                                      Cape - jasmine regency oyo 15130 has denied the check in and on the top oyo has no control on their property,
                                      Hotel people has denied and they are unable to do anything,
                                      This is a serious failure in customer service experience,
                                      If they can't provide the hotel room at the price mentioned on the app then why they publish such prices on their website or app.

                                      Now the room is booked at higher price with no breakfast, who will compensate for the experience suffered.

                                        My booking id was dwof9163.. It was the worst experience i have ever experienced.. Starting from the first, hotel receptionist denied us check-in stating that tarrif is low so they can not provide us room... I booked room for 876 and paid in advance... They told me that their room tarrif is 1200 and will not give room in a less amount... So i called oyo custumer support.. Your excecutive talked with the receptionist.. Then executive told me to wait as he was saying to transfer my call to senior and then hold my call for 5 minutes and then he cut the call... After that i tried calling many times but call ended everytime.. So i had no other option but to pay 320 rupee extra to receptionist even after booking room and paying in advance.. They gave us room with no telephone or telecom... Each time i had to go to reception for even asking for water... Tv was not working in room...ac started leaking water inside room.. Even in the almirahs of room, they had put so many boxes and trash... When i told them to clean almirah... They told me that i can cancel my booking... Hotel staff was very rude... Room was so dirty... And was not worth 500 rs.. I was stayed in 109 room number... That looked much like store room.. I have booked room oyo many times... But wont book again... I had to pay 1200 for a room of 850 rupees that with no mentioned faclities given to the custumer.. Worst experinnce... I had to check out from that hotel and checked in to another hotel through mskemytrip.com... Totally ruined my day and money and my trust on oyo...
