I used Hotel Palkhee in Chembur, Mumbai through Oyo Rooms. On the day of stay, I made payments through oyo app and it failed 3 times. So I made payment through debit card at the hotel. Finally, in a few hours, all the failed transactions worked and debited money from my account. So totally, there were 4 payments made from my account for one night stay. After filing a complaint with oyo, I got 2 refunds. One ore refund is pending and it has not been addressed despite repeated calls and complaints to the customer care. They assured refund in 14 business days every time but nothing has happened since January 2019. This is a pathetic level of service taking the customer for granted. Please consider this complaint for a quick resolution.

My booking ID is OVNX3470. My contact number is [protected]. I have tried connecting with your customer assist and they disconnect the call after putting me on hold. I have also tried to escalate the matter on the app and through e-mail with a response every time that money will be refunded in 7-14 days, however that's not happened.

    Oyo had taken my booking for two days at Hyderabad. I had paid the amount in full. However, the hotel was unable to provide me my room on spot saying that “they are overbooked”. Now, please specify what kind of business are u’ll doing? You are accepting bookings from customers, taking the full money and then not being able to give us rooms? Can you understand the trouble and harassment an old couple has to go through at 8-9 pm due to this ### inefficiency or fault of yours? even after paying the full amount? I am saying this with my own experience. And then you guys do not even have the ability to handle issues properly. I had to call atleast 12-13 times to get a refund and its still in progress.

      Oyo rooms are not providing me the gst tax invoice for the following booking from above oyo accounts in the name of my firm m/s Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP GST no 06AALFD7157J1Z3

      24th June2019 to 25th June 2019

      Bill copy is attached

      As per gst act and rules, no gst registered entity can deny for providing gstin tax invoice specifying customer gstin no. Oyo is only providing me the payment receipt, which is of no use to me, since the same cannot be used for taking gst credit. The hotels associated with oyo says, the oyo will provide the invoice.

      Since, they are not providing any tax invoice (Specifying my gstin no. And gst breakup), there is a possibility that they are charging gst from customer and they are not interested in depositing the same with the govt.

      It is a complete case of violation of gst law.

        I’m Gaurav. I canceled my booking for a hotel on 4th june and as per the call from oyo and email they said they have intiated the full refund of the amount but I’m still about to get my money back. I tried calling the customer care several time and they tell me they will connect me through senior department but after waiting 10 minutes they cut my call. I’m fed up of this. Pathetic service.

        I have received the refund today(3rd july) after exactly a month of waiting. After all the hoops and difficulties I’m glad I received my money back but I won’t be paying in advance for any of my booking on oyo. I’m very thankful for this forum.

        I did a booking on 31st december to 1st jan, afrer reaching to my destination the hotel staff told us that they don't have any tie up with Oyo now. We had to suffer . Now it's been almost 10 months besides after many calls nd messages they are not refunding my money.

            I booked a hotel on June 6 from OYO. The booking ID was Ksbl6723 and the
            booking was at OYO 30548 Padma Cottages. I did full payment. But just
            before my check in date. Your team cancelled my booking and shift it to
            other hotel which was not same as i previously booked. I contacted OYO
            customer executive several time some of your executives hanged phone on my
            face I even talked to senior executives no real solution was provided. I
            was told that similar type of hotel will be provided and the extra cost
            will be beared by OYO. Next day your senior executive says we cannot modify
            booking we will cancel your booking and book a different hotel. My original
            booking was canceled and coupon that i redeem from flipkart was wasted.
            Because of your poor customer services i had to cancel my trip. Your
            Customer service is of no use. Doesn't respond to a any queries better.
            Customer handling is worst. All i wanted was time to select a alternative.
            OYO forcefully gave me hotel which was not same as my previous booking.
            OYO said they will give me refund they haven't given me my refund

            15 days since my refund was initiated by oyo. Haven't received it yet and the customer care has not been responding to it. Just disconnecting my call. No real solution was provided. Both customers support and social media support is worst.

              OYO customer service is the worst I have ever seen. My booking ID VABG8496 at SRK Grand from 21st May to 25th May I cancelled it on the same day that I booked and according to the cancellation policy and the app shows refund denied due to cancellation policy which is ### .I should get a refund of 100% for which I have a confirmation message too but I did not get the refund till now and its been almost 40 days. I called OYO for around 50 times. Each time I called I got the worst response. They keep us on hold for hours together and sometimes joins us with other customer who has a different complaint. This is ridiculous on part of such a reputed and growing company like OYO.

              And I spoke to these two guest experience managers from OYO, Swathi Muki and Neelam Rajput I was informed that I would get the refund in 14 days but I never got the refund. I am never going to suggest OYO to anyone. This is pure recklessness because each time I called OYO they never responded correctly. This is not the was some reputed company does business.

              Worst exp ever in life get from Oyo .
              I booked the Oyo on 15 July,
              I paid online full amount of booking.
              But fer minutes later I cancelled the booking due to changed in plan to go at different Oyo.
              But they denied my refund amount and denied to adjust at other booking.
              One person booked without paying or cancelled the Oyo didn't get penalty,
              On same hand if anperson booked Oyo with paid online, if he change their plan to booked at different Oyo, then their all paid amount DIDNT REFUND AND DENIED BY OYO.
              ITS NOT A POLICY, ITS A LACK OF MANAGEMENT IN MAKIN POLICY.
              IF POLICY WAS MAKED THEN WHY ITS ONLY APPLICABLE FOR ONLY MEMBERS WHO PAID ONOINE WITH A TRUST THAT OUR MONEY DIDNT WASTE OR LOST .
              BUT OYO BREAK MY TRUST AND BELIEVE.
              I DIDNT RECOMMEND OYO TO ANYINE IN LIFE
              BEECAUSE I WAS NOT GET SINGLE CUATOMER SUPPORT ALL TIME THEY HOPD MY CALL BY SAYING THAT WE WILL GRAMFER YOUR CALL TO OUR SENIOR EXECUTIVE.

                I had checked out from oyo life pg, shree9 pg, phase 1, hinjewadi pune, on 31st may. I had put on a proper checkout notice on 1st may using oyolife app. The deposit amount of 5000/- was supposed to be refunded within 15 days of check out. I was informed that i will receive a google form to fill in the details regarding the refund. But neither have i received any such form nor i am contacted by any oyo representative regarding the refund process.

                Its going to be a month since my checkout and i request u to look into the matter. I am expecting a co-operation from your end in getting my refund.

                  Worst tour company i experienced from oyo holidays.
                  I had booked honeymoon package from oyo total holidays between 21 june to 25 june 2019. The total package cost was for rs 49, 000. I had made a down payment of rs. 14200. The remaining amount they offered me zestmoney where i can apply emi option to pay on monthly installment over a period of 6 months. I received email from oyo that you have received my remaining amount.
                  On 20th june i call tikmu devi my sales executive almost 50 times to check my package details but she didn't answer my call and then blocked me. On 20th june at 9.30pm someone answered my call and told me that tikmu left for the day and he is working on my voucher and will share my voucher in next 10 minutes but he didn't send me anything. Finally i've to call customer service number for help.
                  I didn't slept whole night as i didn't had any confirmation from you about my package.
                  On 20th i was told that i can go chandigarh and you'll send me voucher before i reached chandigarh airport.
                  I reached chandigarh airport at 8am but didn't received any voucher or any information about my package. I emailed and called tikmu devi so many times but no reply.
                  At 9.30am she told me she will send me driver details in next 30 minutes.
                  At 10.30 am i received my voucher and then driver came at 11.30am.
                  Me and my wife had to wait at chandigarh airport till 11.30am. There was no proper follow up done from sales team with me.
                  The hotel was booked at manali. The check in time was 12pm. It took us almost 12 hours to reach the hotel by cab. I was informed
                  By the tikmu devi that it will take 6 hours. Hence wrong information was given at the time of explaining package.
                  Tikmu devi and gurav from oyo was not at all helpful and was not professional on call.
                  On 21st june i didn't see any sight seeing as per schedule as the driver
                  Came late and we reached late night so we had the skip the 1st day program.
                  After reaching manali at 12 midnight the employee from the hotel told me that they have transferred my hotel.
                  I again had to move to different hotel which i
                  Didn't booked so there was no communication done with the hotel from your side.
                  On 22nd june when i called you to inform about my hotel then i was told to move the hotel which was not possible as i was on my 2nd day of my holiday and i was at local sight seeing. All our stuffs already messed up in the hotel so i decided to stay at same hotel.
                  On 3rd day as per my schedule for rotang i was told by tikmu devi that it is as per direct payment basis but she never told me clearly that i have to book another cab and pay again from my pocket to go rotang so again incomplete information given to me.
                  On 4th day when i was ready to go kullu i got call from gaurav sharma that you didn't receive my remaining payment and he is going to cancel my flight tickets and other booking.
                  I explained him that i have done emi from zestmoney but he told me that my loan got rejected.
                  I explained him that if you didn't received my complete payment why you started my tour on the first day itself.
                  He was very rude on call.
                  It is completely not at all acceptable if the payment is not received and you can start the tour and suddenly you're calling on 4th day of the tour and asking for money.
                  On 22nd june i got call from sonali and i requested her to arrange hotel at mandi for 24th june. She told me that she will have to check with concern team about cancellation charges and will get back to me but she never reverted back.
                  As my wife was very sick and was unable to travel again 12 hours towards chandigarh so on 24th i've to search hotel at sunder nagar by my own.
                  The whole tour was really pathetic as i have to followup with you every time without enjoying my honeymoon holiday.
                  Tikmu devi and gaurav was not at all professional and rude in their communication.
                  I'll never recommend your company to anyone and will always share my bad experience with all form of social media.
                  I want my refund as it was total waste of my time without enjoying my holiday.

                    First i have booked the svs luxury room at 24th june-12 pm to 25th june -11 am. With 1200 rs/- and then i have modified the booking, i have extended the booking at another day i. E. (25th june, 12 pm to 26th june, 11 am) with 1300/-. I have got the message confirmation also from oyo and also oyo app updated successfully booked the room at 25th june 12 pm on wards to 26th june 11 am. But after 2 hours, i opened the oyo app and it is showing again 25th june is the check-out time and booking is not confirmed, but my money is debited form my account. The total money is 1300/- for one day (I. E 25th june - 12 pm to 26th june 11 am). I have called so many times to your oyo customer care, but didn't get any proper response from your oyo team members. I have raised so many case id's but didn't get any proper response from your team. Please refund all my amount otherwise will take severe action on this issue. I have all messages and also almost i called 16 to 17 times to your customer care members, i recorded all calls, what your team said. Please be atake this issue hhigh prioity, within one hour, you will provide proper solution, otherwise i will take severe action for this issue.

                    Really, i am very disappointing the oyo rooms and also oyo service. Even customer care also not responding properly. I called 16 to 17 times, even single person also not resolve the issue. This is very really really bad service oyo rooms and oyo service and also oyo customer care also.

                    HI OYO, This is third time, i remainder my issue. Still issue not resolved and also call to customer care almost 16 to 17 times today.No one give a proper solution and also every keeping phone as on-hold and after sometime automatically phone will be cut-off.Rellay, OYO service and OYO Customer care also very bad.No one get a proper response.I want to refund total money 1300Rs. Since yesterday on wards, i raised three escalations, but still no give any proper response.                       My booking i. D is qupl2690 i booked a room and i made a online payment of 1753 and check-in in the hotel after while checking out same day in the eveving the receciption asked for rs 798 i asked for what they are charging this amt they said it's a balance amt u have to pay and talk with oyo whatever prblm is there u will get refund after i received a mail that 798 charges was for dinner which i didn't order also now after calling at customer care they only says that we are already taken ur complaint we are transferring ur call to senior but they riding transfer the call i was on hold for half an hour and i received a mail that my complaint is taken they need a explanation why i am asking for 798 rs refund i explained 4 times same thing but there is no solution and new new person is sending me a mail i want my refund of rs 798 i am attaching the mail screenshot i want refund of rs 798 in my bank account i don't want on form of oyo money

                        I was denied checkin from the hotel side because o[censored]navailability of room, it was a prepaid booking still i dint get a room now its been a month since i have applied for a refund, have called oyo support like 30 times and still struggling for my refund.

                        Very poor customer support, lame commitments, false promises, want my money with a penalty.

                          [protected] my booking id against which one oyo hotel room booked for stay at digha since 15th to 18th june. Oyo deal offer was from agoda. Deal selected and payment done. On arrival with family hotel authority denied accomodation. Several times called oyo but no support received. Even hotel authority confirmed oyo representative over phone that they don't have any time up with oyo. Then why oyo promotion and offer shown. Hats misleading and disturbing after a long travel with family if accomodation denied on a unknown place.

                            I had booked a room of two male occupancy on 26th june 2019 at gorumara nest situated at lataguri, dooars, west bengal. I have been denied checkin due to closed resort for maintenance. I was again shifted to forest inn at a distance of 25 kms from the previous resort which falls within the dense forest of lataguri at about 20:30 hrs where i was again denied checkin due to no power maintenance. Then again i was shifted to another hotel named sawdagar where they denied checkin as the hotel asked for extra payment for checkin. Throughout this i was guided by helpline member named mr. Ashif, miss. Saloni and miss. Nidhi who were not at all helpful and miss nidhi also cancled our booking without our prior permission. This was total negligence from oyo and i am very dissaponted about the customer support as we were abandoned in the forest for more than 4 hrs. Kindly look into the matter as i am totally dissatified with the service you provide.

                              I had booked a room in oyo 19666 hotel solitaire on 8/06/2019 for 25/06/2019. I had even called up at the hotel 2 days prior to my visit to ensure if room is confirm available. I was misguided and was told that room will surely be provided to me when i reach on 25/06/2019. I reached the hotel on 25/06/2019 but was asked to wait till 11am as it was their checkin time. When i returned to the hotel at 11am i was told that the hotel is overbooked and that they cannot give me a room. Inspite of pre booking and payment i was denied a room for staying. As a result i had to go through the headache of finding another hotel and spent extra money to get a room. Hotel solitaire did not even refund me the money then and there. I was misled by informing me that rooms will be available and hence i even made payment by card and later hotel solitaire, nagpur did not even have the courtesy to refund my money. Very bad and humiliating experience for me and my family. Will never book room from oyo again and will also recommend people not to as they cheat the customers and make fool of them. I expect oyo to refund my money at the earliest and also pay me compensation as i had clearly been cheated and made to find another hotel at higher price. I want the price of my stay at other hotel to be compensated to me which is 1999/-

                                I had booked an OYO for 3 night on 23.06.2019 ID UBVS8405 . But then suddenly my booking was modified for one day and again one booking was done for another day which either oyo or property manager have done. Then I contacted your customer care and they sent me a link to pay RS 2538 which I paid online for 3 nights. Now on 25th hotel staff didn't accept it and said that they have not received any amount and I had to pay. Then due to pressure of the staff Ihad to pay again in cash. I am attaching receipt copy and booking ID details which I received at the starting.Kindly refund my online amount since I had paid them in cash as they said that they have not received any payment. I have faced so many problems in this booking and now due to this problem I had to change my hotel as I was going to extend my booking for more days. Kindly refund my amount as you can see that I have paid twice for booking.

                                  I had booked a property from OYO Living a part of Oyo rooms for a period of two months, the property was vacated on 31st May 2019 with proper notice and everything.
                                  As per the terms of the agreement and the policy the security deposit was supposed to refunded by 15th June 2019.

                                  Despite of calling up OYO multiple times, dropping mails and reaching out to them through various platforms, the organisation has not responded clearly with regards to what's the matter nor have they refunded the money.

                                    We have booked our vacations from oyo rooms for richie valley under user id [protected]. They booked us even when they have ended their contract with richie valley. I was with my parents and our booking was also not shifted. We suffered a lot due to their faults with property owners. And how can they make our booking when they have ended the contract. Now even after 14 working days when we ask for refund they are saying we have done that through paytm while we have done our advance payments through gift voucher. And yet we have not received any payments. Now they r saying u have your problems with paytm solve with them. Like how will they know our details without providing. Oyo is really a fraud plz stop their services as they are looting people.

                                      This place literally sucks!.. I booked this hotel relying on the affiliation with oyo!.. But the hotel was a complete let-down!..
                                      The place is a #!!..
                                      Literally!..
                                      The guy who runs this place is no less than a pimp who tries to set up girls with every person who checks in to this place.
                                      The humiliating thing is this that he does all this very openly and i[censored] just come out of your room in the evening you might have to watch # running all around the hotel hallway.

                                      Now, i had included breakfast in my booking but not to my surprise, i didn't get breakfast in a single day of all the 4 days i stayed there.
                                      But i'm kinda happy that i was not served breakfast.. Because the kitchen of this hotel stinked like rotten fish all the time and it was one of the nastiest kitchen i've ever seen in an oyo hotel.

                                      I think hotel people has done me a favor by not serving breakfast from that kitchen.
                                      Maybe they are kind!!!..

                                      N when it comes to housekeeping, it's the worst!!.
                                      Of all the 4 days i stayed there, my room was not attended by a housekeeper at the very least once!.

                                      I should've checked out of that hotel on the very first day itself, but there were no other hotels nearby which was that close to my noida office and i had this enormous luggage with me which i had a hard time carrying around!.
                                      It's just only because of that i decided to finish the entirety of my reserved period of stay.

                                      I don't know what oyo hotel auditors are doing and i'm surprised that this trash place still keeps the affiliation with oyo maintaining a standard like this.

                                      Please send any one of your auditor to this place disguised as a normal client and ask them to stay there for a couple of days.
                                      So that you can see it for yourself!..

                                      I have booked Hotel in Bilaspur for stay from 23.06.2019 to 24.06.2019 and also paid for Breakfast but the hotel didn't provide me breakfast.
                                      I have also called to your representative, they also raise escalation but no call was received from them till now and also issue shows resolved.

                                        I had booked oyo for my family trip with 10 members with me which included children and women. Since the day of booking i was constantly asking the oyo people to provide a phone number of owner to confirm my booking. They did provide it though but it was switched off all the time but oyo people told me repeatedly they were happy to host me.

                                        21st june
                                        I went to chandigarh with my entire family to the hotel in morni chandigarh. The hotel owner denied entry on the basis the contract with oyo has ended on 17th june. None of the oyo spokesperson helped me instead one of them told me what's the big deal. I was left stranded in a desolated place with my entire family. I had to book the same hotel with double amount which i paid to oyo. I talked to legal cell of oyo and they told me they receive 100 of complaints like this and they were not concerned of law because they have very cunningly inserted a clause in where they are entitled to offer only the booking amount not damages.

                                        They shall pay the damages also and mental harrasment i had to face. My entire trip was ruined by oyo and their customer care exec's. Although legally i might be bound but i will start a social media campaign against oyo and will tell more and more people not to book oyo ever in thier lives
