I made a transaction for booking a room in DMS service apartments, BLR via oyo rooms(booking.com) for 28th july 2022 with payment amount of 896/-. I cancelled the booking on the same date (28th july 2022) as the facility said they do not accept oyo bookings and had to make direct payment to the hotel. I called oyo support for the refund of 896/- and they created a ticket and it has 30 days since oyo initiated the refund. They keep telling me i will receive the amount within 14 working days. I still have not. Booking id - G0C80998

    I recently booked a property in dehradun for a trip with my friend and had to inconveniently ask for a refund since the hotel owner said theyre going under renovation.

    The booking id is : I8VR2170

    I have already asked for a refund and the app and website both show it has been processed and successfully transferred. The refund never reflected to my account.
    Im in need of the refund to make another booking for the dates ASAP and this isnt helping me.

    Attaching proof that the booking was cancelled and what the oyo refund status shows.

    I need a bank reference number for the same so i can talk to my bank and see if it has been processed. Please do the needful as soon as possible.
    If things take too long and it doesnt help me out and crash my plans and flight tickets because i cant book an oyo, I'll take this to the consumer court for further action.

      I booked a Oyo property in Pondicherry and the property was pathetic
      Locks were broken and fans were not in the room. Someone has poured liquor in our room entrance.

      Manager was very rude and unprofessional .
      The first room given to me was without fan and I struggled a lot .

        1. The payment made was for the meals included as confirmed by the oyo customer executive via the mail. I have the emails.

        2. When I go for dinner, the hotel manager simply denies.

        3. Now, when I call OYO, they are also simply denying the addition of meal and confirmation by mail.

        4. I asked them many times for the confirmation.

          Address: OYO Rooms, 325, Spaze Tech Park Tower B, Sohna Road, Gurgaon, Haryana, India, Pin Code – 122001.

          The hotel that we booked through OYO app shifted our booking after the confirmation to another hotel far away from the city. Upon reaching the hotel that we booked, we got denied by the staff saying that our booking got cancelled and then they said this booking number is invalid. Upon calling the customer care of OYO, they said it has nothing to do with us. But in reality, they gave the room that we booked to another person on higher rates and shifted our room to another hotel which was far away from the first hotel that we came to stay in. Our complaint is against OYO for changing our hotel after the confirmation to another hotel which is far away from the location in which we booked our hotel.

          Hotel staff blamed OYO for cancelling the booking and shifting it to another hotel. Due to this alot of our time got wasted and we couldn't get to the other hotel that we got unethically shifted to. We booked the hotel from OYO in 672₹ which got totally wasted and we had to book another local hotel due to this unethical and illegal activity by OYO.

          Below I am attaching the image of the hotel that we booked for 672₹ and thereafter OYO shifted our room to another hotel which we couldn't go to due to the distance and inconvenience caused by OYO and the hotel.

            I booked my first hotel using oyo platform but my experience was not good. after reaching the hotel the hotel took 200rs extra from me. after that, I tried reaching Oyo and they told me they would return my money. it's been one month but they are not returning my money even after taking my bank details. When I visit the app it shows the ticket is resolved and closed. I'll never book any hotel using Oyo. it's the fakest app I've ever seen. If you call their customer care they will put your call on hold and cut after 10-12min—what rubbish. Please book your hotel directly. Don't waste your time and mind on these stupid apps. I visited the city for a critical exam and this happened. I'll never book a hotel on Oyo.

              Hello mera naam Pankaj Singh hai, Maine Aug 28 ko subah Oyo ke through OYO Flagship 92819 Hotel Surbhi G near Gandhi Chaowk Varanasi me room book karaya tha jiski booking I'd - K7966261 hai aur amount Rs. 2113 and maine executive se late check-in mention karne ke lie bhi kaha tha, then after some hours maine dubara se call kia yeh confirm karne ke lie ki ma'am ne late check-in mention Kia hai ya nhi to doosri executive kehti hai nhi mention nhi hai, maine mention karne ko kaha to unhone dubara se booking karne ko kaha jiske lie unhone fir se Rs. 2440 amount mujhse charge kia, aur unhone kaha wo purani booking cancel kar degi aur uska refund aa jaayega but nhi ki, jiske baad 15-20 executive ko call karne ke baad meri Oyo Manager Shalini ji se baat hui unhone ek ticket raise ki for refund of double booking, aur manager ne mujhse kaha ki jis din mai check out karunga uss din mai wo ticket I'd ussi emergency no par call karke bata du within 24hr to refund process ho jaayega par main subah se try kar raha hu baat karne ki par call connect nhi kar raha hai koi, abhi tak approx 20 executive se baat Hui, problem batane ke baad se call hold par ho jaati hai par connect nhi hoti hai, aur jo ticket refund ke lie raise hui thi wo without my permission resolved show ho rahi hai OYO App par without getting any refund, maine ticket ka screenshot attach kia hai iss complaint ke saath, please have a look on it and resolve my issue and refund my money as soon as possible.

                I once cancelled a booking on 25th August 2022 with the reference Id HRGB5354 and not received my refund of rs 680 paid by debit card yet. Also call customer care almost 100 time but they put call on hold and call automaticlly cut with its own after 10-12 minutes give me my refund fast as possible

                  It's going to be a month since I have not received my refund. No support from customer care. There were two refunds as promised, one I received. One is still pending.                     I booked a room at OYO 78107 Diamond Plaza
                    Sector E, 225, Chakrabarty Para Road, Ruby Park East, Kasbah North, Kolkata, West Bengal, Kolkata for September 8 to September 9, 2022. But I canceled it within 5 hours of booking. I did not receive any refund, and now it's showing refund failed.

                    I tried calling the customer care helpline. It is giving me no updates, it asks to press 1 for refund status. Upon pressing 1, it says Press 1 to go back to previous menu, press 2 to go back to main menu.

                    It's been 5 days and no update regarding refund is given. This is really not expected.

                    I got a call on 31st August saying that my money will be credited shortly. Its been 1 week and the money is still not credited. I have cancelled the booking within Cancellation period. This is the worst experience I am having with Oyo.

                      I have booked OYO 69698 Shalimar Residency for, 28 Aug 2022 and checkout on 29 Aug 2022 by full advanced payment of RS. 799 Booking id- TMHV4495. when I reach the hotel on 28 Aug for check-in the hotel. they denied check-in reason given was you have paid amount to oyo & payment is not showing to us. & they denied checkin. When i requested them then they forced me to cancel my booking from oyo. & asked me to pay 799 cash then they will provide me room. As my schedule was planned so i had to pay 799 cash to them. they told me to get a refund from the Oyo because u have paid online to Oyo.

                      it is requested to kindly refund the full amount as the booking was canceled due to denied check-in by the hotel that's not my fault and as I didn't get service from your side then why should I pay you the amount.

                        Denying Check-in via masked aadhar

                        Address: Opposite pillar no 744 near Nawada metro station, New delhi

                        The property we visited denyed check in to hotel because we didn't provided them with hard copy.. we were providing them the masked aadhar complying to the government guidelines to not share the hard copy of aadhar and we have paid them an ammount of 400 too... Still they are denying saying masked aadhar is not viable only hard copy is acceptable... And the hotel management was very rude with us using derogatory sentences while addressing...

                          I had made payment on oyo of Rs. 1149 for Booking Date Aug 14, 2022 - Aug 15, 2022 with Booking ID RS9M2413 Hotel OYO 14710 Hotel Pallvi palace.
                          Hotel owner won't allow me to stay, He is saying that They won't accept Oyo.

                          Only way to get partially refund from Oyo Robot Chat and I got only 358.0 as Oyo Money.

                          I contacted 20 times to Oyo Customer Care but they don't have any refund escalation team on call and they're not answering on email also. I sent emails 3-4 times since a week but no reply.

                          I would suggest Agoda has very good refund service. They refunded full amount for same kind of incident and additionally they added 10% wallet balance.

                          I need full refund of Rs. 1149 to my original source of payment.

                              I have booked an oyo from the oyo app on 17th of August and I have made the complete payment of rupees 349 through upi but when I reached the place they asked me to pay the extra money of 2000 rupees and that's the reason I cancel the booking and on the app it was showing the refund is on its way but it has been more than a week and I haven't received the refund yet the customer care system is also very poor the art replying to my query or neither resolving it kindly please see to it

                                I had booked OYO87156 Pradeep guest house Goa from 7th to 10th Dec 2022. I had booked on phone through oyo customer care. I want to cancel this booking. When i call customer care/service. it ask for mobile number used for booking+last 4 digits of booking id. It says no booking is done by this number and did not proceed for service dept. In OYO app in my booking also no booking is shown. when i enter help from app it shows booking with booking ID number but not able to cancel and says contact customer care.

                                    I booked a room at the hotel (oyo 3633 nanda inn) for the price shown in the oyo mobile app which was Rs 436. However, at the time of check-in, I was asked to pay Rs 914 more; only then would they provide the room. He even dared me to call the oyo customer care and tell them about the issue. As I was in a hurry, I paid him the extra charge and got the room. Later, that day, when I asked him for the receipt of the additional amount that I paid, he told that oyo would send me the total bill of Rs 1350 by mail after checkout. Till now, I haven't received any bill and whenever I contact the customer care, they ask me to get the bill from the hotel which the hotel owner would never provide.
                                    I demand a refund of the extra charge incurred of Rs. 914 to resolve this issue

                                    The very next day(30th August) after submitting the complaint, I received a mail from Oyo through the mail-id "[email protected]" stating that the refund would be processed within 7-14 days. Then on 1st September, I received a call from Oyo refund department (+91 1724979551) stating the same things said in the email. The following day, I received the complete refund of Rs.914 that I demanded. I am so satisfied that Consumer Complaints was able to solve my issue.

                                      I booked an OYO room when i reached at the property for checkin they asked me for money and denied check-in as i was in a urgent need for a room i had to pay the extra charges kindly do something about this, their customer service never picks any calls and all the hostels have same reviews in their apps comment section they all asl for extra money when anyone reach at the property.
