On 13th Aug when I was in need of hotel I called [protected] mentioned in updated booking email
Some one from hotel Shivam took the call and said “ Why we are getting so many calls?
He could not help me to give the number of Hotel Akash Stay home


With no help available from I contacted OYO customer care at [protected] several times
They confirmed the booking from my mobile number and the booking reference
However they could not connect me to hotel manager

They gave me two numbers to contact ; one of them was [protected] which I already had tried but no help and second one was [protected] a wrong number.

Finally I dropped my evening program and rushed to Hotel Akash Home Stay
Surprisingly the hotel did not exist and local person there told me that it has been non operational for more than two months

I was helpless along with family and had very bitter experience

Now I have email from OYO mentioning that you did not turn up and booking gets cancelled
THIS IS NOT FAIR
I got cheated

    We had booked 3 rooms for 8 people in an hotel named Oyo Sai Inn, 26, New Friends Colony, Delhi for stay from 17/08/2022 to 25/08/2022. Advance of ₹10, 136 was asked which we paid and the rest amount was to be paid at hotel. Firstly, the address is not proper given, second no one was picking up the call from the hotel. We called more than 10 times for Oyo customer care of which only one call gave us the hotels nearby address and the other calls were literally of no help. After 2hrs of searching we reached the hotel around 8:20 p.m. to which the owner said the Sai Inn hotel does not exists and it has been blocked by oyo, we own Sai Palace hotel. And we don't have your money it's with Oyo. After calling customer care they said we would book you a hotel which is nearby but after searching on Google map and asking people we got to know it is 20 km far from our location which was around 8:40 p.m..
    We have not yet received the refund. And if the hotel is not in presence why is it still there on Oyo app. The Oyo app shows that we have checked in which is false, as after knowing it's not there we immediately leaved from there as it didn't looked like a safe area.
    As per your company policy we should have received the money in 24 hours but you haven't yet refunded it.

    Kindly requesting you to see the above complaints, reply to it and take action asap.

    Why haven't we got our refund back? It's almost a month. Oyo company is writing false statements that it takes only 7-14 days for refund.
    It's been many days now we haven't received any refund. The initiation process was started from 23rd August and it is not moving forward to approval of refund. As per your company policy it just takes 7-14 days, atleast be true to your words.

          Dear sir/madam,

          This is to inform you that i booked hotel (booking id: ZMVZ8646) through OYO app on 16.08.2022 with partial payment amount INR 1871 (refer screen shot).

          On 18.08.2022, before check in, i received a call from hotel Management (mobile no: [protected]).He informed me that you have to pay remaining amount to confirm booking. Please be note that person have all information like partial payment detail which i made, remaining amount, location of hotel, Name of hotel, name of customer etc. Based on information i paid amount of 3377 INR through UPI (refer attached screenshot).

          During check in at hotel 2 hours after the incident of payment on 18.08.2022,
          I came to know at hotel reception that payment has not been received. Person who called me is not available at hotel as well as on call. After many trial of calls and hot discussion with hotel staff I again paid remaining amount to hotel via UPI payment INR 3377 to get room(Refer screen shot) . Later i came to know that first payment of INR 3377 is a fraud payment.

          Now question arise that,

          Case -1
          If person calling from hotel to get remaining payment then why hotel management asking to do repayment

          Case-2
          If person is not calling from hotel or any other third party then how they had information about my booking with payment details.

          In view of above from both the cases its clearly shows that its mistake of OYO/hotel management to leak booking information or not accepting payments.

          Customer booking hotel for hassle-free journey. Here i feeled that i made mistake by booking through OYO with advance payment and feeled guilty.

          I request to you that please investigate above concern and initiate refund of INR 3377 (refer screen shot).

            My Name is Pranav Swaroop and I made a online Booking from "agoda" of Classic Double or Twin Room type in ÖYO 3066 D2 Holiday Inn." at Puri on 22-June-2022 to 24-June-2022.
            I was denied to check-in by Property Manager in the hotel stating online payments are not acceptable contact OYO Customer care.
            I called them in the number given by PM (+91-[protected]).
            They said sorry and they regret for the inconvenience caused and suggested me to book a another property as the mistake is done by their side i will apply coupons and get you the hotel on the same day with the best price and will refund the previous Booking amount.
            he spoke with me on call for 45minuts and he gave me two bookings for two days in two different hotels.
            I asked what is this he said as there was a mistake made by them previously he did it internally and directly i can contact the property manager and they will internally manage themself.
            i checked into the New hotel on 22nd Mid Night and moved to site seeing in early hours of 23rd reached hotel back on the same day evening.
            The manager said your booking is completed at 11 AM. you need to pay for 1 extra day. I called OYO Customer care and asked them the again said sorry for the inconvenience caused and they said to book another room and i will get refund of the previous booking. i Denied to book from them and took the second refund and paid directly to the property manager.
            its nearly 2 months and still i have not received any call or refund payment on the cancellation made by OYO.
            They are fraudulently booking through phone and misleading the costumer.
            Their costumer care service number doesn't speak with us regarding any complaints or previous booking the directly deny and disconnect the call as they only booking support team.
            Please help me on this.

              I booked a room using oyo app my booking id S2BU5234 I paid 399 as advance for booking room when I reach booked hotel they denied to take my booking by saying they are no tied up with oyo that's why I cancal my booking and try to connect with oyo helpline number but they didn't listen my problem and not refunding my money back please help

                My name is Vijendra Jangid. I booked a classic bedroom in Oyo 79906 with booking id C17B1527 on 14th August, 2022.
                Oyo consultant agreed to book the room at price of Rs.1295. I was asked to pay Rs.162 to confirm the booking at the same price. Remaining amount to be paid was supposed to be paid at the hotel when we reached there. But when we reached the hotel, me and my family were not treated with care and we were not provided safe and proper parking. Even the area was suspicious and not trusty and it was the middle of the night. He demanded us around Rs.1425. That was not what I agreed for, so when I called up Oyo again, I only received some lame reasoning and I chose not to spend the night at the hotel. I literally had to drive through highways the entire night just because of inconvenience it caused by your company's inefficient service and hotel's incompetence.
                Despite multiple calls at Oyo centre, there was no result in the end. Even the service centres were not responsive enough and I repeatedly asked to talk to a competent executive to reach a meaningful conclusion but the call never came. I am immensely dissatisfied by Oyo Rooms and wish to be refunded the booking amount I paid.

                  I book rooms in oyo as by online and that online booking time I get a Gpay link to pay the payment amount.I done the payment and booked scuessfully.
                  On the check in time the hotel receptionist ask me the booking id and verified.
                  On the check out time they ask me to pay amount, they recieve message as cash at hotel.
                  Double payment, how this happens.

                    Its been more than 1 month and still haven't recieved my refund against booking ID QWUG6857 .
                    No email or call are answering regarding this.

                    I booked hotel and was denied checkin as i paid through oyo, upon waiting for more than 2 hours on road i was promised refund which i still havent recieved.

                      Oyo Rooms — refund not received for the booking I'd A1LS7611. I made a booking from Oyo rooms and mistakenly entered the wrong day. So I cancelled it and Oyo team sent a message that the refund will be recieved in 7-14 days. But these people are untrustworthy and their customer care sends fake details that refund has been initiated and fool you that it's the bank's fault. I want my money back, Plain and simple. Don't pay on the Oyo app guys these people will make you fool for your own money. Give me my money back or I'm filing a civil lawsuit. I'm fed up of your malpractice.

                        I visited the property on 14/08/22 when I was denied checkin due to power issue they were facing then after I left the place and waited for my refund but I got on 60 rupees as my refund amount which should be around 626 since this is not due to my fault I need i complete refund regarding my booking.

                              I visited Mahabalsehwar, Maharashtra on 15th Augest 2022 for this i booked the OYO rooms (The White House Hotel) on 14th Augest 2022 with booking Id E22E6579 and i Paid them Rs. 1293 through Paytm UPI online with transaction id [protected] on 14th Augest 2022, 08.22 am but when i reach to the hotel the hotel was closed and i enquired with neighbor hotel they told me that the hotel white house is closed since 3 months ago. after this i contacted the hotel owner through OYO application and i called him. he told me that its wrong number and hang up the phone then i called to the OYO rooms and i connected to there IVR recording and there is only option of cancellation so i cancel my booking of white house hotel and they only refund me Rs. 238 when i actually paid them of Rs. 1293. When i tried to call OYO room for my all refund through there booking number every time they told me this is booking department not service department and connect my call to there IVR system and there is only one option of cancellation. I have to face lots of problem through OYO. The Screenshot of my booking and transaction id is attaching with this please go through that and i want my all money in my bank account only.

                              Thank you so much to consumer complaints for early action. The company is contacted me through SMS and initiated the refund procedure. I got my refund and confirmation message from OYO in next 2-3 hours after complaining. I think OYO rooms service also needs to be focused on service of only on OPEN hotels. They need to regular check the hotels they are tie up is OPEN or NOT. Anyone who tries to book through OYO rooms need to be confirm first and then booked the hotel and don't pay money in advance strongly recommended.

                                We booked a hotel room for 13th aug to 15aug 2022 via oyo in Pondicherry and we were told it was a service guarantee property. We also paid full amount in advance (Rs. 4022/-). When we arrived at the hotel we were told the room is allotted to someone else, and we were left with no rooms at late night. We were forced to search for other rooms but we didn’t got any . We had to return from Pondicherry and were mentally harassed as we had to spend the night in station. We require your assistance to get our problems notified and get our problems resolved with compensation for the mental harassment from both oyo rooms and the Hotel Gnana SRM Residency Pondicherry. Please find attached screenshot for booking confirmation from oyo and screenshot of payment sent.

                                  Worst customer support the company has. I made a booking for a hotel in ranchi on 8th August but then as the hotel was not good I cancelled my booking and till now my money is not refunded. Booking id is RGWL8061 . I have been continuously calling the customer service but I am not able to connect. The customer service is pathetic that the call never land to a real peraon to talk and gets disconnected automatically.

                                  Thanks for the response, please check the details and get me the refund and also please its a request to improve customer service as initially oyo books the hotel and tells customer to pay the requested amount with prepaid offer and then when we reach the hotel they deny by telling we cannot provide hotel at this amount. So please do something about this.

                                    Hi it ahs been more than 15 days since my refund was processed, when I booked the hotel there was clear availablity of room shown in app on reaching the hotel at approximately 10 pm the hotel owner said that rooms are all booked and they cannot accommodate us . After talking tto customer care we agreed on settling for another hotel but the hotel was in a very bad condition and slum area where we refused to stay and asked for a refund and to be clear it was already 11 pm tby then yet i have not received my refund till date and there is no update on it.

                                      A pathetic experience with customer service team of @oyorooms as well. Still waiting for someone from customer service team to not put my call on hold and atleast give me a reason as to why there is a delay in refund processing. Worst experience @oyorooms

                                      I made a booking with @oyorooms on 24th July with Booking if WLAF8429.Just 2 hours before check in I was told either to cancel booking or to shift as the hotel was full. So i asked to cancel and requested for refund and it has been 20 days since waiting for the refund of ₹1066

                                        I booked two rooms with OYO from the 6th of August to the 8th of August for which I paid 1306 as advance. Booking was done by me Debasish Ranjan Saikia, booking ID Q44P4834. When I reached the property on the 6th they denied to give us rooms saying they are already fully booked. When we already had bookings how can a hotel get fully booked. What's the use of booking then ? After that we had to book offline hotel which was way out of our budget. OYO customer care couldn't even arrange a hotel for us. Such harrasment for us as customers. After all that drama I asked the customer care executive to refund the money as soon as possible as we are students and we need money. She promised a full refund. Now it's been 10 days. When we look at the refund status online it shows refund successfully transferred. But we didn't get any refund. At first they harrass us with their unprofessional attitude and now couldn't even transfer my money. They should take full responsibility of delivering the money. But they don't care a bit. They didn't even call me to ask whether the got the refund of not. Never booking on OYO again.

                                        Your Customer care executive called and provided me a bank reference number which is of no use, now I don't know what to do. He asked me to call phonepe. But phonepe clearly stated that they cannot hold any payment. He even asked me to mail him if my problem was not resolved. When I mail him I get no response. Is this some kind of a joke? Is this your professional attitude towards your customer? I want my money. Provide me the transaction number of your refund. Or else strict action will be taken from my side. It's been more than a month now. I am losing patience.
