I had purchased a Sony TV (49 Inch 3D LED) from Reliance in February, 2016. Had purchased extended warranty of 2 years by paying Rs. 19, 000.
On 20th February, 2017, there was some issue in the TV and it was not getting started properly. Called Reliance customer care and lodged the complaint ([protected]);
Since then this is the update;
3 Technicians have visited (2 from Sony + 1 from Reliance) within 1st week of March
As suggested by the Customer care, I sent the repair charges to [protected]@resq.in. As it is a TV from SONY, Reliance Digital will co-ordinate with Sony and arrange for the cost
By 6th March, I was told that it will be done within 1 week.
On 10th March, I was told that it will take 10-15 days and a stand by unit will be provided
Till 8th of April neither the TV is repaired nor is replacement unit provided
On 8th April, when I called the customer care, it was told that The order has not been placed with Sony for repair and it is pending for approval at their (Reliance Digital) end.
Whenever you write a mail to [protected]@resq.in for update and time line, they have a common reply- We are working on the same.
I would suggest nobody should by TVs from Reliance Digital.
I am attaching all the mail correspondents for reference.
Its more than 1.5 months now, nothing has been done.
