Samsung products have degraded drastically and none of the products works fine after a year span.
Most of the products start giving problem once warranty period over and for some products just within few months of purchase.
I have faced similar problem when one of my Samsung LED TV (UA32D4003) purchased on 08.05.2012 started giving problem just
after 2 month after purchase. A call was logged with support engineer and service engineer replaced the motherboard after
sometime. Once that was fixed the same problem reiterated after 3 months. When engineer visited our home they mentioned
that the LED panel is damaged and to add up to our distress the replacement panel was not available.
We were left with no other solution rather than to purchase a new television.
Being a person who admires Samsung products, once again we purchased 2 sets of Samsung LED 3D televisions on 08.11.2012.
The model number and serial number of the TVs are ( Model No – UA32EH6030RL*L, Serial No: MQKW3PBCA0307D, MQKW3PBCA03030T )
This time the TV was working for an year and half when trouble started once again. We noticed white horizontal lines
on television screen. Initially the number of lines was few and gradually increasing to huge number.
When we logged a complain with Samsung customer care, an engineer visited our door and informed us that the panel is
corrupted and needs to be replaced which would cost almost 17, 000 excluding service charges. After waiting for almost
15 days we were informed that the LED panel is not available in market and we will be paid money for the television set
after deducting 33% on purchase amount. I purchased the television for Rs 37, 000/- and I was paid Rs 24, 790.
This incurred me a total loss of around Rs 12, 500/- in just 2 years.
To add up to our distress the other 3D LED TV which was purchased on the same date also started giving the same problem.
Same horizontal white lines are appearing on screen. After lodging complain ([protected]) with customer care executive, engineer have visited our
door and after investigation engineer updated the same problem. Currently the panel is not available in market.
I have asked Samsung to refund me an amount of Rs 30, 000/- becuase that's the minimum amount I have to spend to purchase a new television.
But after speaking with Saptasree Katiyar ( Samsung Customer Experience Manager ) they are willing to pay an amount of Rs 22, 000/-
I have to pay more than Rs60, 000/- if I have to purchase a new LED 3D TV.
I am not at all happy with Samsung products and hence I would like to put a case against Samsung so that consumer's grievances are addressed.
In this entire process I have lost enough time following up with Samsung executives and also feel harassed when it takes so long to make a decission.
