My I'd migration done on 18/02/2019.
Before migration my monthly tarrif Rs 240.
After migration my account balance on 18/02/2019, but tata sky dropped my most of the channels. I contacted customer care for viewing channels to add up to my account balance. Tata sky not done this and says we unable to do the same & customer has to go online and do himself

    I was having two user id / account id's running on single dish with 02 set top boxes. To save money both account id's were merged into single account in august 2018 and a main and secondary set top box system was generated by tata sky. Now they are not ready to provide me separate user/account id for secondary box as different packages are needed on both boxes. Unnecessarily they are asking 800 + 150 = 950 inr for completing the same. Finally i asked to discontinue the secondary box as there should be no charging for generating new user id for existing customer.

    Hi, that's not how it should have been. Remove the card and wipe it with a soft dry cloth, insert it back(The Tata Sky logo should be upward and the arrow pointing towards the Set-top box) and let us know the status.

    Hi, that's not how it should have been. You can always modify your packs/channels in your subscription, as per your choice by logging into www.mytatasky.com under manage packs.
    It is very bad service provider, charges too high rates.
    I want cheap and best pack in price 150 rd.

    Hi with the implementation of the new pricing regulations on all Cable, DTH and IPTV operators, broadcaster channels and packages will now cost the same for all operators in the market and Tata Sky will not be expensive as compared to anyone else. Also, in order to prevent the hassle of understanding and choosing from so many broadcaster packs, Tata Sky has curated recommended packs using the same the broadcaster packs and channels to best suit your viewing requirements.

      After Trai new rules Tata Sky is now charging Rs500 per month for each additional multi tv connection. This works out to Rs6000 per year.

      Before Trai new rules the charge was Rs2750 per year.

      The increase is exhorbitant and is highway robbery. Tata Sky customer care claimed Trai has fixed the multi tv connection charges. If this is so, then if not wrong, this is the maximum charge and there is nothing stopping Tata Sky from charging a lesser and more reasonable sum.

      Please look into matter.

      Hi! As per TRAI guidelines you get to choose 100 SD channels (or 50 HD channels) within the first NCF fee slab of Rs.153 pm. This excludes the FTA Promo pack as these channels are not counted for calculation of NCF.

        The list of program selected for viewing, has been submitted on 14.02.19 on the company official website.

        2. While the selection has been implemented by tata sky, the subscription amount has not been modified. We are being asked to pay the earlier higher amount ie rs. 385 instead of the new amount of rs. 322.

        3. This is blatant violation of rules by a reputed company, whose sole motive appears to be to rake in profits at the cost of common customers.

        4. Kindly look into the matter. This is the plight of several other customers also. The resolution could be in public interest.

        By mistake i made wrong payment for Tata sky box. Tata sky is not working at this time. I had purchased different Tata sky connection.i had made payment through Paytm of 400 rs 10 days before. It would be very grateful to you if you would return my money

          I tried to change my current pack. As it was not possible through website and mobile app because my old number was registered. I called the local dealer. He was so arrogant no manners to talk to a customer and raising voice on me. The other person also came on phone he too was talking rude and abusive. His no [protected]. If your are hiring someone make sure they know how to talk with customers. Extremely rude and pathetic service.

          # Non providing list of free to channel and other details on DTH connection N0 [protected] and also tariff for varous packages. They arre very punctual in sending message for recharge but they have not sent single message regarding new packages as per trai guideline

          Paid Channel not broadcast but money Deducted only FTA channel are broadcasting. Not able to do any changes either online or through customer service.

            Sir,
            I have a dth connection of tata sky (Subscription id [protected]). I had opted for a semi annual pack of tatasky on 04.08.2018 and was valid till 18.02.2018.
            On 01.02.2019 i chose the channels of my choice as per guidelines issued by trai.
            1. Tata sky has not continued to provide the semi annual package till the validity.
            2. Tata sky terminated my semi annual pack and started charging on daily basis even before the end of validity of my semi annual pack.
            Tata sky is clearly violating the guidelines laid by trai.
            I request you to look into and do the needful.

            Hi, the following changes have been made on the Tata Sky platform:
            1. All existing Tata Sky Base, Add-on, Regional and MultiTV packages will be discontinued and replaced with a new set of packages.
            2. Individual channels prices will be revised.
            3. HD Access Fee packs will be discontinued.
            4. Long Duration packs will be discontinued.

            These changes are being made in order to comply with the "Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) services Tariff Order 2017" issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The said order is applicable on all broadcasters (such as Star, Sony, Zee, etc) and distributors of content such as DTH operators, Cable operators and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV).
            My subscription no is [protected] & Registered mobile no is almost 8-9 years old from past 5 years am not using this no and don't remember also, hence requesting to change registered mobile no to new no

              Tata sky is giving 192 fta channels out which only 28 are doordarshan channels which are mandatory.
              However tata sky customer care has advised me by email that the rest 164 channels are fixed and the customer cannot delete or change these fta channels as per his choice. Please advise me whether this is correct as per the trai order. Ia m being forced to view many channels which i do not watch and this is unnecessarily increasing my multi tv charges.
              Please advise if i have the right to choose which fta channels to watch and can delete and add as per my choice.

                  New tarif[censored]nder new trai guidelines is costing double than what i use to pay before. For 2 tv, the charges has been increased from 250 to 500 rs. Then for each channel, you will have to pay twice for hd and for non-hd subscription. New trai guidelines was formed to help customer budget their subscription but companies like tata sky have used it to their advantage and raised revenue margins.

                  Hi! Due to the implementation of the new Tariff order, the input costs for MultiTV connections have increased, which has resulted in a marginal increase in MultiTV prices. However, continuing with a MultiTV connection is still more value for money than going for a new DTH/cable connection.

                    As a Tata Sky customer (Subscriber ID- [protected]) and used 3 TV broadcast in under one ID. I selected different channels after new guideline of TRAI keeping to restrict to my requirement, but shocked to see that my tariff increased even on selection of less channels in compared to early pack. TATA SKY customer care is unable to explain any satisfactory answer to me.
                    So you are requested to look into matter and advise accordingly

                      Same problem happened with me last night. I have purchased 660 uc worth about 799 rupees get debited from my account but I did not received any uc in my game. I have the transaction details which is showing that respective money went to INB Times of money. As it is huge amount of cash I need refund or please send me the uc in my game account. Under this text I am giving you the screenshots of my deduction hopefully will rid off my problem as soon as possible.

                          Raised multiple complaints to [protected]@tatasky.com, but when that was not working, sent 4 complaints to the nodal officer.
                          Regret to note that, the result is same even when i brought the matter to the nodal officer, the
                          Highest customer care authority of tata sky multiple times.
                          Since i have opted the subscription of channels as per the latest
                          Trai regulation, i am not able to watch any of those channels subscribed
                          By me.
                          This is my 4th complaint to the nodal officer of tata sky, everytime
                          I make a complaint, i used to get a call from your mumbai office, informing
                          Me that the local c-care team will contact me.
                          Local c-care will make a call for the name sake, but immediately will
                          Disconnect the call and you cannot expect a second call from them, you
                          Cannot call them back either because it is a call through the system.
                          Then i have to make again a fresh complaint, but the above story
                          Will get repeated.
                          After the latest notification by trai, getting desired service from tata sky is next to impossible.
                          Cant throw the dth into the dustbin, because going to any other service provider also will not going to give you any relief.
                          Heard that jio is offering the dth service, but as of yet no idea about it.

                            I’m getting wrong pairing error for my tatasky hd. Nds no is[protected] and digicard id is[protected]. Error code is 14. My rmn is [protected] and subscriber id is [protected]. I want to get this resolved asap since this is very frustrating to notice that there was no signal for arranging to resolve. Why this problem has occurred i don’t know and this is irritating.

                              After changing dth transponder lots of set top box are not recieving signals from satellite. And service provider (Tata sky) is charging (350rs. Set top box +100rs. Visit charges) from customers. Which is wrong because any changes made in transponder by tata sky, not by the customers. Why customer is liable to pay money for this.

                                Dear sir/ madam
                                My connection is [protected]exist in tatasky dth service. I had already changed my plan with help of tatasky customer care on before 1st february 19 to continue my services accordingly to trigger rules. All was set. I agreed for all. But unfortunately tatasky changed my plan without information itself. Almost my channels are hide from my screen. Also increased my monthly rental. Its very disgusting act. Trai saying we are going to impose rules for betterment, where is better for us. We almost suffering from trouble.
                                Can you please solve my problem. Please solve if you can.

                                  Refer to my previous complaint dt 10.02.19 we have not rec'd any solution from tata sky.in this connection i would like to extend some more points.
                                  1 as i selected new package without hd channels and also recharged for 50/ more due to compelled by company, my due date is reduced from 05.04.19 to 02.04.19
                                  2. As trai has extended date upto 31.03.19 therefore activate my previous pacage of dhamal mix with hd upto 05.04.19 as per previous contact and also credit rs 50/ to my a/c which is additionally deposited by me.
                                  3. Also channels no 436, 809, 830 which are free have been deactivated which should be activated.

                                  I had take connection from tata sky vide sub. Id no [protected] and deposited one year subscription upto 05.04.2019 for dhamal mix with hd channels under one year package where some discount is given due to one year advance deposit.
                                  Due to trai new rules i was compelled to change the package as per my choice.
                                  Accordingly i changed the package without hd channels, which resulted the amount per month reduced aprox 80_90.
                                  And i was also compelled to recharge of rs 50/ even after complaint here previously.
                                  But inspite of above mentioned points due date is reduced to 02.04.19 whereas i had additionally recharged for 50/ and taken low package without hd channels (Before 2 months) my due date is reduced by 3 days which should be extended minimum for 1 to 2 months.
                                  It means that tata sky has not given me advantage of, 1 year package and charged month wise charges which is not our fault.
                                  Hence it should be extended as per package on prorata basis.

                                  Call rec'd today, but no solution, above 3 channels are not activated hence unable to view, no response over charges debited and due date reduced, very worst & poor services, TRAI should take action against Tata Sky for worst services and higher charges.

                                  I had deposited RS 4800/ on April 2018/ for Dhamal mix with HD channels due date was 05.04.2019 which is reduced to, 02.04.19 as I had already mentioned.
                                  When oncall rec'd by me from Tata Sky I had demanded statement of how to show how they have calculated but inspite of my demand they are not providing the details but reducing due date whereas HD channels have been removed by me for two months, then how can we understand their calculation of charges without providing details. Which shows doubt in mind.

                                  Still waiting for statement for calculation of correct due date but no effect on Tata Sky, they don't care the customers problems because money is with them in advance and customer has to suffer .

                                  What a fun that I have not rec'd any statement /call/message and Tata Sky is telling that problem is resolved.
                                  I cannot understand the attitude of representative of Tata Sky when I am demanding statement from inception of my deposit of RS 4800/ for long time, first of all they are lengaring on without reply and lastly told problem is resolved.
                                  I think that TRAI should do something in the matter .
                                  Once again you are required to provide detailed calculation of RS 4800/ till date.

                                    Inviting your attention to the above subject, references, and attachment.

                                    As a customer until now, i have submitted many complaints and notices to tatasky for the activation of my preferred channel list as per trai fta list; including february 3. But yet service provider intentionally avoids my requests. And i have filed my request for a daily compensation against the deficiency also.in this matter now i have a case against tata sky at cdrf south delhi as cc. No: 29/2019.

                                    But surprisingly i got an sms message yesterday on my mobile states as follows; please find the screenshot of the same as attached.
                                    "sub id:[protected],
                                    As per the new trai tariff order, you have been migrated to the best fit plan which has your current key channels.
                                    Your a/c balance is rs 19.32
                                    New monthly recharge is rs 358
                                    Next recharge date is 13-feb-19"

                                    Hence further i wish to inform tatasky & others that
                                    1. The above-mentioned migration is against my wish and will. And;
                                    2. Tata sky has no permission for any migration in my account other than updation of my preferred submitted channel list (Find the same preferred channel list again as an attachment). And;
                                    2. Tata sky has no permission to debit any single penny from my account on this unethical migration. And;
                                    3. Tata sky must cancel the above-mentioned migration before today evening at 6 pm under notice to me. And;
                                    4. Give me compensation of rupees 1000/- for the unfair trade practice of migration without my concent and credit the compensation to my tatasky account. And
                                    5. Otherwise please pay rupees 1000 as the compensation for the same until the date of action; and
                                    6. Hon. Trai; please note the continues unfair trade practice of tata sky and treat this email as the complaint about the same; and.
                                    7. Start disciplinary action against tatasky and suspend their trade license & direct them for my preferred channel list updation.

                                    Hi, please visit mytatasky.com and click on "Manage Packs" to modify your pack. You can select your choice of channels as per your preference.
                                    It seems they are fooling everyone here. Even candidates appearing for the interview post on social media for unfair hiring practices and candidates with criminal background getting hired in Tata Sky. What least can be expected then in terms of service!

                                      I have selected channels and apprised the service provide on a number of occasion. The channels are not available on my tv. The selection was to be done as per trai instructions but i am the sufferer.in spite of several requests they are not providing. Account balance informed by them is enough and next renewal date, as informed is in july'2019.

                                        I have 3 tata sky setup box in the house as per trai faq document it clearly mentions setup box is like a mobile connection in the house every mobile can take seperate plan same way every setup box i can take seperate packages but tata sky doesn't allow this they say it's all under one id i asked for solutions. They said split your id then you can do it but for the same they asking for 500+300 rs charge per setup box they said it for installation and activation but no new installation or activation is required
                                        As a consumer ian mean forced to take all packs on all setup boxes what is the use of this new rule by trai

                                        Due to the implementation of the new Tariff order the input costs for MultiTV connections have increased, which has resulted in a marginal increase in MultiTV prices. However, continuing with a MultiTV connection is still more value for money than going for a new DTH/cable connection.
