I have recharged for 1 year and suddenly today Tata sky stopped showing some channels. They showing message to make a miss call on [protected] to continue viewing stopped channels.

If I have subscribed for 1 your why some channels stopped showing?
Why should I make a miss call?

And even I try to contact Tata sky on customer care, even after efforts for 2 hours I couldn't contact them

What should I do?

My money wasted...

    I have tried all the customer support and helpline numbers, not a single call received, other numbers are out of service, some numbers are out of coverage area, never seen such a worst customer care service. Never gonna take tata sky again.
    Pls guys dont but the Tata sky connections...it is worst than anything...sonetime channels gets disconnected..and they tell us to give miss call on the numbers they provide...and that numbers are also not usable...worst worst worst service.

      Today some channel like aaj tak, sony etc has been closed by tata sky in my subscriber no [protected], whereas the sufficient balance has been maintained by me. Kindly lodge my complaint and redress immediately. I am very dipressed by the unprofessional behavior of the tata sky. Also i intimate you that there executive are without any means they keep on bothering by telephone talk

        Dear sir tata sky is cutting down one of the channel from the package i have. and sending sms in tv set to miscall the ph no they giving.who told to do so .and when i am calling them its busy contineously. sony tv is not coming. if this is not sorted out i will go further, this tata sky is doing fraud .plz take stringent action and do the needful

          We have subscribed to Tata Sky Platinum Package wherein normal definition and HD channels are available. However, on 01.10.2018 we were not able to watch some of the channels that are already been paid in the subscribed package. On top of that, when calling on 4 different customer care numbers, one of them connected after multiple trials but sadly even after being on hold for 17 minutes, no service executive came on the call and we could only hear the annoying IVR for straight 17 minutes(wherein, the waiting kept on increassing). Ultimately, this toll free customer care number caused us to lose Rs 17.00 on the transaction for which we have already paid the annual amount of Rs 8500.00 and still our problem was not heard, forget resolving them. It was so frustrating, irksome and plain ignorance of the terms of service!!

          So here I am requesting the concerned regulatory to take note of the same as the companies like Tata Sky while requesting for new connection are all sweet and highly accomodating but once, the connection is made, they don't even bother to take the call as well.

            Kindly tell me the good reason to continue with Tata sky when we're not receiving certain channels . Is this not a fraud ? We pay for the services and don't have any thing to do with thecontradictions which you are having with certain channels.
            These things were not told to me when I was taking the connection .
            Kindly look into the matter at the earliest.

              I have paid 12 months subscription money of tata sky in last month with commitment that price of pack will be freezed and all channel will continue as same for next 12 months

              But Today surprisingly many channels have been deactivated. I m trying to contact customer care since morning but no one is coming to hear me. It is not connected since morning to customers care

              I THINK THIS IS FRAUD COMPANY AND HAD NO COMMITMENT VALUE...DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE...DUMB COMPANY

                Today is the first day in my seven years of tata sky subscription, that my trust have been broken onto the tata sky service.

                Many channels have vanished and others ask for giving a missed call on a number([protected]) to be started but the problem has broken its limits
                as when miss called an announcement of "ALL LINES ARE BUSY"
                is made

                It is a humble request that the SONY services be started again.

                  The above service provider has agreed to provide dth service which included news channel "india today". I have an annual subscription which was renewed from january 2108.
                  This channel (Channel no 609) was available on 30th september in the night. This morning (01 oct 18) when i tried to see this channel on pressing the remote for 609 it just gave a message on the screen that "channel 609 not available". No reason given and no specific indication that india today will not be available.
                  Today after-noon i contacted through[protected] to know the status. Only repeated answer i got during the talk with them for 34 minutes is that "we are sorry" sorry sir etc etc. I had to insist that i need to talk to some one senior in the hierarchy and only then i was told that because of the problem between tata sky and star group, india today will be discontinued. To get this information i had to spend 35 inr over phone. Tata sky could have displayed these details on the screen instead of making the consumer suffer like this
                  As a consumer i shall be provided all channels for which i have made an annual payment in january 2018. The service provider shall reimburse my 3 months subscription charges plus interest @ 12% plus the phone charges (Rs 35) plus compensation for deficiency of service rs 10000/

                      channels are missing

                      Wre are using tata sky since many years. But in the past few days many channels which are subscribed are missing. Total money is paid for them but we are unable to view many channels and the number of that channel is invalid is shown. I called the toll free number but i was told that any one would contact me in 10 minutes but its been so long and when i am calling they are giving the same response. I want my complaint to be taken and solve...

                      I have subscribed for the tata sky subscription for a period of 6 months where the entire amount is paid in advance. Today all of a sudden a specific channel is unable to view and the error message given was 'to view the channel, we need to give a missed call to a specific no. Which is shown on the tv screen.

                      When taking this up with tata sky on their online chat, it has been given to understand that they have an internal tiff with the said channel (Sony set max), where their agreements have not been renewed and hence to mitigate and manage the same the customers are unable to view the same. For this there was not prior intimation given to any of the tata sky subscribers of this anamoly. Over and above that they expect the customers to call from their rmn to tata sky to activite the said channel.

                      My question is why should the customer be at the receiving end, when its a problem internal to tata sky?
                      Why should the customers go through the pain of calling tata sky every month to view the channel which they have already subscribed?
                      After speaking to the customer service (Mounika and a sree latha), they didn't have any thing to say apart from sorry and that we have to call them up to get the channel activated.

                      This is no customer service at all when they rant about customer friendly organization, neither any such thing written in their t&c's to cater to such anamoly. Why can't they have a internal trigger in place to manage the situation and why are customers being made to go through the pain? How will old people who have been viewing a channel on a daily basis know that one needs to call them when the rmn is of their siblings who doesn't stay nearby/or in the country or might be travelling? Has tata sky taking into account such things. The transcripts below :

                      Hi, we understand what this has been like for you. Commercial negotiations with broadcasters broke down because what they were seeking would have forced us to hike our prices. Hence we have had to drop a few channels while keeping the popular ones on. Please bear with us for some time because we are doing this in our subscriber's interest. Click the link https://goo.gl/E3Yiv3 to know more details. The broadcaster has demanded to be paid for every box user of these channels. Hence for Tata Sky, to be able to pay on behalf of the subscribers for the exact number of people viewing these channels, we have introduced this simple step that requires you to inform us. Both the missed call and the activation of these channels as a part of your base pack is done at no additional cost. We are also in conversation with the broadcaster to renew the agreement.

                        I have a tatasky sd semi annual pack, toda ten 2 and sony espn are missing. Today ie on 01/10/2019 i found that two sports channels ie sony ten 2, and sony espn not there. On asking i was told that these two channels have been dropped. This is false as sony ten 2 is there on hd. As i have paid for a particular set of channels, and have paid for 6 months i am still not being given a refund and what more tatasky are not letting me save the chat for future reference and action. This is cheating which they are doing to their subscribers

                        I am a sd pack subscriber of tatasky. Today ie on 01/10/2019 i found two sports channels namely sony ten 2, and sony espn missing. On asking i was told that they have been dropped because of price problems with sony. Since my pack included these channels and i have paid for my package till march 2019, i am certainly entitled to either these channels being shown or a refund, neither of which they are giving. They also have stopped saving the transcript of the chats with their help centre people which can be used for further action.

                          Respected sir, i have a complaint that i have recharged wrong unfortunately the amount is too much and i requested to tatasky helpline center, they asked me that they reverse my money they also detected money from my account but now the money is nor in my bank account and nor in my tatasky account i requested to reverse my amount.                               I had an issue with my tata sky. I was not able to view all the channels on 29/09/18.
                              At about 4:45pm on 29/9/18 i had called up the customer care regarding the same.
                              An engineer was assigned against my complain no: 17yhjfjq & he was scheduled to visit at around 6:00pm on the same day-29/9/18.

                              Before the engineer’s visit all my channels started to work around 5:15pm.
                              Now when the engineer visited my place he disconnected all the wires & again connected them.

                              After that again many of my channels went off as no signal was coming at all.

                              The engineer told me that my dish was having normal lmb & should be changed to super lmb to view all the channels with proper signal strength & quality. Also the super lmb replacement will be charged at rs.800/-.

                              I called to tata sky customer care again and enquired about the same.

                              I was never provided with an super lmb when i had upgraded my primary set top box to hd recording set top box about 3-4 years back. Hence i should be provided with super lmb without any charges. The customer care confirmed the same and an work order no: 17youlqf was raised & scheduled to be completed on 29/9/18 at 8:00 to 8:30 pm.
                              But no one visited for the same. I got another sms that the same work order no: 17youlqf is now re-scheduled for 30/9/18 at 1:00pm.

                              I waited till 1:15pm on 30/9/18, but no engineer had called me up & neither i had received any call from tata sky for the same.

                              Again at 1:15 pm on 30/9/18 i called up the customer care & enquired about the same. I had spoked to the floor head - sr, executive regarding the issue. I was assured that my issue has been escalated & i will be receiving a call back from the backend team within 2 hours.

                              Since 1:30pm till 7:30 pm on 30/9/18 i have spoken more than 5 (Five) times to tata sky customer care sr. Executives & all the time i am being assured that i will be getting a call back within 2 hours & my issue regarding super lmb replacement will be resolved latest by 5:00pm on 30/9/18.

                              Now the entire day - 30/9/18 has gone by & till now there is no response from tata sky or any engineer???

                              Is this the service tata sky is known for?
                              I am using tata sky from 2007 & have never faced such a disgusting service?
                              I am a premium customer & have been using platinum pack & making my payments at a go for the full year. Than why i am being made to suffer?

                              I think this is a serious issue & needs to be checked with the engineers or the frenchie people at the ground level. As they are duping customers.
                              Why my normal lmb was not changed to super lmb earlier when i had upgraded my set top box to hd recording set top box 3-4 years back?

                              Again how i was able to view all the channels without super lmb till 29/9/18 evening before the engineer’s visit for the complain no: 17yhjfjq???

                              Now if normal lmb is to be replaced with super lmb, why has the same been not done till today? Also no response from tata sky?

                              My subscription is about to expire on 8th nov 2018. I am definitely mulling to quit tata sky as i am being harassed a lot.

                              There are more than 40 tata sky connections in my apartment & i being one of the association member of my apartment will ask all the consumers to switch to different dth service provider who can provide connections in bulk at a go with better service.

                              My apartment’s terrace is full of dth wires all completely messed up. Every time a tata sky engineer visits in out building for any issue, he disconnects one consumer’s connection & connects the wire of other consumer into someone’s else dth.

                              Kindly look into the issue urgently

                                My tatasky dth id [protected] - sukumaran c. On 27/09/18 i have paid through my internet banking from indian bank, a sum of rs.675/-. The amount was debited from my bank a/c. But due to connection failure, the recharge was not done nor any message received from tatasky about recharge. If not paid to tatasky, arrange to refund the amount to my a/c.

                                  Called the call center and informed about 'no signal' for 314 (Sony max) and 327 (Zee classic). They asked me to do signal test. There was no signal for some channels. They said they would send some technician. They sent one who made some adjustment at the dish end and the signal started coming. But the same night, there was no signal again. The signal came intermittently, but only in the day time. They deducted rs 100 for sending the technician. What do i do now? How long do i keep paying rs 100 if this is going to be a continuous affair? My rmn is [protected].
