All of a sudden channels are being dropped, and that too without intimation,

All i am getting is scripted response that in navbharat & indian express they have published, do they expect customers to keep reading these newspapers about tata sky in digital world,
Also when there is subscription renewal they keep calling us over a month and when it comes to such information all we receive is harassment.

The Tata-sky team, reverted stating that the negotiations with the sony ppl failed and they would had to raise prices in order to continue with the same channels, and would have passed the brunt to the consumers. However though this reactive revert is not enough for the sudden shock that they gave to their customers including me..and news in some print media is just not enough to inform customers since thats the legal way to save them and dents the CX, when for recharging the account they call 1000 times but when it comes to proactive communication, just a sorry post the trauma and the shock doesn't suffice. However as a consumer which is me in this case have become now a hostage having been recharged for the full year. guess i have no option but to forget and forgive. thx Arun

    Recharged channel 360, viewed the channel for 3 days. After that it says channel is unavailable.

      I have been trying to get in touch with tata sky customer service since morning and they are just giving fake promises of calling back n just not bothered to call back i have ultra pack along with hd but some channels are not available wherein i'm suppose to get all channels even after paying you'll money semi annual package you guys are not showing the channels i feel i'm cheated useless when it came to pay money for semi annual pack all ur helplines were available to talk n today when i have complain to make no1 is responding

        Guys let's send a legal notice to tatasky for refund of money. As there are people who paid for yearly, monthly and quarterly as well. So request everyone to send a legal notice to tatasky registered address with refund of money. As we already paid for hese services and if they stopped in between then they need to refund the money to customers.             Dear sir,

            I am trying to contact tata sky customer care since last 02 days. But every time recorded voice instruct me that call volume is higher and they will call me shortly. Till today i did not receive call from tata sky.

                This is about Tata sky services.There is an issue of their rivalry with other channels and they have continued to remove channels which they think are not viewed by subscribers or perhaps they don't want us to see.

                I am really miffed and exasperated by the axing of important channels by Tata sky.First they removed Epic HD then zee classic and now axing sony channels due to payment issue is enough to loose subscribers.If they continue to do such things for some more time then they are gone forever.

                Yesterday most of the people wanted to see KBC on Sony as it was an important episode and there was also a new programme on Star bharat .They deliberately sabotaged Sony programmes yesterday and their viewership as they are connected to Star and would anyway promote their channels try to make down other channels.

                When I called yesterday on 1st oct-2018, their phone number were out of order and today when I could get through they pretented to be innocent abt the whole thing.This is the limit to their monopoly and dictatorship.

                    Abruptly stopped subscribed channels like sony, sony mix and other news channels without information when sufficient balance is being maintained in my account.
                    Tata sky chat and customer care representatives are unresponsive and i am facing harassment unnecessarily.

                    The no displayed for restarting service without additional costs is a hoax no and not connecting.
                    Kindly lodge my complaint and help resolving my problem.

                          Hi team,

                          I want to share my experience of shifting my tata sky service to a new address with you :

                          1. To begin with i called the customer care about the charges and since i said the charges seem high i was told as i am using tata sky since 5 years i will given waiver and i will get a call by the next day : after two follow ups and one week - i was retold my phone support that there is no such offer on relocation ever offered.- time consumed 1 week with 3 calls.

                          2. I asked the support to get me a re installation at new address with full charges : the executive sent did not get necessary tools the first day, did not get cable the next day and on the third day my set top box supposedly stopped working overnight - time consumed - another 3 days

                          3. I asked the executive to replace my set top box : here are the charges quoted : sd 750 / hd 899. When i called the customer care they said set top box replacement cost is only 350 rs.-misinformation round one

                          4. I raised a complain and i was told i will get a call back by 10am next day. Never got one.
                          I called the executive and said customer care has clarified charges as only 350 rs. He came back with a semi broken box and told me if i want a cheap box he can provide only this with only 1 month warranty.-misinformation round two

                          5. When i called customer care again they said warranty should be 1year with 350rs charges. I raised a complain again, was promised call back by 10am next day-no call came, i also requested change in executive-no resolution done.

                          6. I deactivated my account - everytime i called customer care they couldnt decide if i can get a resolution with account deactivated voluntarily or not.

                          7. After over ten days of above time and efforts being wasted and inefficieny in tata sky system, i finally threw my set top box aside and took an alternative connection from a service provider. I called customer care to disconnect my connection and return my balance i was told i would get a call within one day to confirm i wanted cash or cheque.

                          8. Two days after surrender request i was posted material and relocation charges in my account : for a connection never completed successfully and with multiple complaints.

                          9. I called the customer care yet again, i was told they take this very seriously and this will be escallated to seniors. After two days i got a call back today morning; stating that they cannot do anything about my charges but will make sure no other customer faces such issues.

                          Request numbers : 17yk1n6t, 17t928hg, 17tfnquy, 17maat5u etc

                          My simple question is : when i deactivated my account i had a balance of 148 rupees. Do i consider myself cheated even of that? Please give me a written confirmation this time as i am tired of multiple calls and misinformation. This really reflects on the integrity that a brand has and how it treats its consumers. It was the most inconvenient experience i have ever faced as a consumer and this makes me loose all trust in the brand tata sky.

                            Hi, the broadcaster has demanded to be paid for every box user of these channels. Hence for Tata Sky, to be able to pay on behalf of the subscribers for the exact number of people viewing these channels, we have introduced this simple step that requires you to inform us. Both the missed call and the activation of these channels as a part of your base pack is done at no additional cost. We are also in conversation with the broadcaster to renew the agreement.

                              1st oct 2018, sony channels not coming on tatasky. Showing on channel no 128 of tatasky to dial [protected]. Dialed 15 times, connected twice and got 2 sms also but still channel not shown. Called their toll free no and got connected after trying for 15 mins. Was on hold for 10 mins and finally some executive spoke to me.
                              His reason was that tatasky and sony channels are having some financial negotiations because of which channels are not coming. I have paid subscription charges for entire year to tatasky, so why the hell is my channel shut down because of financial problem of sony and tata sky.
                              My call log no is [protected]. Spoke to few executives,
                              Vijay gupta - sr executive,
                              Sanjay kr majumdar - cce,
                              Saugoto vishwas - team mgr. All giving same reasons that finanicial negotiations of sony and tatasky going on.
                              My very well known vinita jain's episode was there in kaun banega crorepati today and i have missed that. So very upset, trying to give missed calls, trying to speak on helpline but all in vain.

                              Mr. Saugoto vishwas finally calculated and told me that rs. 18 can be refunded to me. Wow, what a great calculation by a team leader.

                              I was so mentally stressed that even after paying in advance for entire 1 year, i have to struggle to watch channels for which i have paid.

                              I appeal to get back entire 1 year subscription fees with interest and an apology letter.

                              Also after doing all calculations, tatasky has taken money in advance, so either its a loss or profit, why should a cuatomer suffer at the end of the day.

                                  My channels are not showing as per subscribed packs. Tatasky it seems is hellbent on harassing its customers. A msg comes on sony channel that if you want to view Sony 130 channel give missed call from registered no. to a no. which does not connect in the first place.

                                    [protected] is subscriber ID in the name of Nilesh Veera. I m unable to watch[protected] these channels inspite of regular prepayment. I tried helpline numbers at least 3 to 4 hours but no reply at all. It is totally harassment and worstest ever customer experience.
                                    I want refund of all my recharge amount and set top box coast.hope for quick response

                                    If you are already subscribed to Sony SAB, just add the channel at no extra cost by giving a missed call on [protected] from your RMN.

                                      I have been a tatasky customer for last ten years and have been subscribing for prepaid services. My mobile no is [protected] and my customer id is [protected] . On 29 sept I approached your customer care as i could not view KBC. The problem was set riht by your customer care executive .However, today we could not view the programme as we could not get confirmation from [protected] .It seems that the package i have subscribed for is not being made available for veiwing . pl resolve this problem or terminate my connection immediately.

                                        The Tata sky and locked the usage of Sony channels on the Tata sky along with few other channels like Aaj tak. They have asked to call on certain nos to watch that channel free of cost but when I am calling on that no it is continuously busy, it has been almost 2 hours trying to call on that number but failed to connect.

                                        Then I tried calling the Tata sky helpline nos, I have tried all possible nos but unable to connect. I was surprised to be in call waiting on one of the helpline number. It has been almost 2 hours trying to do that, but couldn't connect.
