I give request for re-installation of Tata Sky dt 1 May 2012. They give assurance we give better service. Executive call, he come at my residence dt 3 May 2012 at 2 pm for re-installation. But Executive not come. I give near about 28 call for Executive not visit to my residence. But thereafter they not given service of re-installation. After all feedback from Tollfree No. I think that, this is Worlds too bad Service of Guttar ka Service. Sub ID-[protected]

    From the last five days, my set-top box is not receiving signals. I've tried all the basic procedures given in the manual but they are all useless. When i talk with the customer care representative, they just say that they will get it done in a certain amount of time. Between all this, the one who is suffering is me, i have not seen TV from the last five days. Please Help me

    Tata Sky — Extremely poor customer service

    I am a TATA SKY customer at delhi and my customer ID is [protected]. I have relocated my house and have been trying to get an engineeer form their company come and reinstall my conection at my new house within the city. The company charges Rs 600 for reinstallation which they have already deducted from my account balance. secondly when I ring up to schedule an appointment for reinstallation I am constantly confronted with extremly rude representatives who doesn't seem to understand the value of time in any sense. A lady snaps back and tells call back after an hour. one gentleman fixed up a time over the phone but did not give me any reference number as a result I kept waiting for the engeneer all day (stayed away from my office) all in vain. Next day I ring up the service again and ask for an expalnation. They give none. dosen't even feel guilty about being wrong. fixes up another appointment and assures me that 9.0 am means 9.0 but in the late evening rings up and says you will have to wait between 11.0 am to 1.00PM for the engineer. I am extremely unhappy feel harassed and cheted by this kind of customer service.

    I have switched to the tata Sky from our local Cable TV operator

    for obtaining world cladss service as claimed in the

    advertisements. the world classs service is to be in terms of

    quality as well as prompt account renewals / breakdown

    maintenance.
    However now the confidence in tatasky has been lost.

    i had registered a complaint that my settop box was unable to

    recive signal on 14 Sep 08. it was promised that within 24 hours

    that is by 15th sep my defect will be rectified. Today as on 17

    Sep 08 also no one has turned up to rectify the defect.

    I have two senior citizens in the house for whom the only source

    of enterianinment is the Television especially since they are

    unable to move out of the house. In such a situation non

    availability of the television even for short duration affects

    their morale. In fact the tataksy connection was taken just for

    them so that they have continuos availability of their

    favourite channels. Since last four days, non availability of

    the Television has affected them adversely. Their mnorale has

    gone down. They feel that tatasky with their prompt service

    could not be at fault and we are not registeriong the complaint

    on time. In other words "Poor service" of Tatasky is causing

    Domestic misunderstanding.

    I hold tatasky solely and wholly responsible for the above

    agony. It is hight time that educated customers as we shift to

    better operators (especially with two other giants in the

    market, Dish and Reliance).

    I know this mail is going to fall on "Deaf ears" . But then I

    have no other option but to be at the mercy of your Service

    engineers.

    I wish had better service.
    I have purchased tata sky set top box on 12th October 2008 in Rs. 1500/- and installation is free, but no one is coming for installation and even no body is trying to contact me also.
    So I think to lodge a compaint against tata sky in consumer forum also.

    I was quiet surprised to read the post above. We got tata sky DTH a few months back and unfortunately had to move house for some reason. We were initially not sure as to how we were going to move the whole setup. We called Tata Sky customer services and they made sure that the whole process was very smooth. About your comment on the rude lady on the phone, I am sure she must have had a bad day or something. Also, knowing the terrible traffic in delhi, I dont think anyone can pinpoint the exact time on which the engineer will arrive. Its important to undertsand that these engineers go on the rounds and some places may require more time. It happens for everything, phone services etc.. included. Thus, moral of the story is that a product cannot be damned just because someone had a bad day or some chap took some time on other project. I think your complaint is quiet unjustified.
    why wldnt they come and install the box, it does not make sense as to why they will not contact you. i got my tata sky installed without any hassles and since then have benn a satisfied customer...i think they given a very efficient and resouceful service...

I'm a new customer of tata sky (WO NO. is 1-[protected]) I'm totaly disagree with tata sky is the best DTH because your services are very poor and your service engineer is the biggest layer. your service engineer named mr. ARVIND he is not installing set up box properly & now he is not receive my phone calls. I called him at least 40-50 times but no responce if you can help me so please reply me other wise i will take any legal action against you

    I have a Tata Sky Multi - Room connection for the past 3 years. For the past 30 days, the MDU connection has been acting up and saying it is unable to receive signal. Despite several calls to the Delhi Customer Service, there has been no respite.

    Funny thing is each time I call back the date of engineer visit has changed and when the said date elapses with no visit, I call back the helpline to find that the complaint has been closed "as engineer has visited premises"!! Not once has an engineer come in all this time.

    If you ask for a Supervisor, you are put on a long hold and then the call is disconnected!

    The SMS they send giving a date of visit and a contact nmb has a number that neither gets answered, nor is the call centre aware of this number.

    One executive actually expected me to go and check with other Tata Sky users if they too are experiencing such issues!

    In this day & age they actually expect to survive in such a competitive market with such apalling customer service!

    How does one resolve this ...I feel like taking them to court and suing them for mental harassment! Can anyone advise?

    You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They may resolve your issue on call itself or send a technician if required, if you are out of warranty tech visit will be charged. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet.       Hello Sir,
      My Tata SKY set top is not working for the past one month. Repeated requests , foll-up calls and e-mails to call center and nodal office at Chennai did not yield any result. It will be of great help, if you could publish this complaint in your web pages. Let the public be aware of the hardships that I face as a TataSky customer.

      Sir, I have one Tatasky Connection and i want another one connection in my same house so i call the tatasky call center and book my order on 04/11/2010 to ms.Nagina through my Reg. Mobail Numnber she told me he will be provided the tatasky connection with in 24 hars but due to dewali festival it will provided 48 hours ans i am aslo get one month sabscription of tata sky free and she told this order not cannseld ones book than i am told ok. but i am making so may call their up to 20.11.2010 till thay all are told sir it will take one day time. sir it will take one day time. sir i am sapaiend more than 200 Rs. for calling in costumar care center but no saytisfied answer is not comming all person their assouring sir i will do it within 24 hours but actualy they all are spoinling the emaige of commpany, i am sending to complaint througe email but no respons will come my complaint no. is SR[protected] and SR[protected]. and also loadge complaint through custumer care center[protected] but till date no response sir if you could publish this complaint in your web pages.         Please help me, I am not able to connect to TATA Sky for registering my complaint. My register mobile no is [protected], I do not have the TATA SKY registration no. When I press Home button of TATA SKY remote I do not get the information.

        Please help me to register the complaint, Tried the call center no. there is only IVR, it does not work properly, no customer care executive, no one to talk. there is no option on website to register on line complaint. there is no option to register complaint through email.

          I am having Tata sky since 6 years , Now i transfer from nagpur to navi mumbai ,for re-installation at new place at navi mumbai ,I request to tata sky helpline on 02/05/2012 at 1400 hrs and my request no is 1-[protected] and till date on 04/05/2012 at 1500 there is no calls from dealer.
          I have contacted seven to eight times to helpline number till date for my re-installation .

            This is Pathetic.
            I booked TATA sky DTH with M/s. MANOJ ELECTRONICS, THANE, maharashtra on 01-05-12. As per thye commitment of shop owner the installation should have been done on 2nd of May before afternoon. but no one turned. When called to call center number, they informed that the i'installer' will call me before 3:00pm and it will be installed at the end of the day.

            Again nothing happened. Again when I called the call center at 6:30pm there some vipul told me that I will get a call from installed before 8:00pm (which was a wrong commitment, as later I came to know that the field services operations timings ar only up to 7:00pm??????????). He gave me a complain log number - 1-[protected].

            As expected nothing happened. again I called the call center at morning 8:20am (03.05.2012) and spoke with Ajay ( executive), Sherry(Senior Executive) and Gurmit (supervisor), this call went on for some 15 mins but nobody was able to tell me what is the action taken on my last complain tha was registered yesterday...this is the most pathetic service and customer relation service example I faced where the service provider is not able to tell you the status of your complain and just giving false commitments again and agaTATA sky call center number is [protected].

            Hope somebody checks and takes action on this.

              I am a Mega pack subscriber of TATASKY service. I registered request in TATASKY customer care for installation of DTH setup at my new home when i shifted from Gurgaon to Noida. more than 48 hours hav passed and nobody from TATASKY has come to my home for installation of DTH setup.TATASKY is seems to be a untrusted brand they donot do what they claim in their advertisement.

              Tata Sky — Re-installation

              I have shifted my house recently. I had called up your helpdesk they booked request No.[protected] on 7 June. I got an SMS saying that the service will be attended on 8 June by 10 AM. The service engineer number is [protected]. The service engineer don’t bother to pick up the call . After following up so many times with customer service on 9 June the guy says it will be addressed by afternoon. Finally I get to access the service guy on 9 June evening. He simply says he went for an exam and can’t attend the call. Then someone else calls me from Tata Sky and speaks in a very harsh tone, and says the service will be done within one hour. I also get another SMS from Tata Sky stating that the disk will be re-installed at 6:30 pm. Nothing is done till now. No one bothered to call and update.

              Is this the service quality of Tata Sky? Do I assume that the Tata brand provides such poor service?

              I want the installation to be done immediately. I feel terrible being a customer of Tata Sky, and being harassed so much. Why should I still pay the fee for re-instalment after such harassment (they are charging Rs. 350)? I am really upset.

              From last 10 days i lodged my complaint almost 20 times at your mail, call centre just to change the location of dish antenna in nearby building as I shifted to new house.

              Every day I receive a call but no action. I have never seen in my life such a USELESS, PATHETIC, UNPROFESSIONAL Service provider that too from a Group like TATA.

              People without ears & eyes are sitting & just killing time without any heed on customer request.

              Kuch to Sharam karo besharmo, ab to jaag jao.

              I want my total recharge money back from the date of my 1st complaint and bugger "apne deebe utha ke le jao" I will shift to some other DTH service provider.

              TATA SKY is the Most Third Class company of TATA Group. I have lost total faith in this group.

                I am a customer of Tata Sky for more than one year. And from the very first day of viewing, I detected that the sound of non-HD and HD channels breaks/distorts at regular intervals for a fraction of second. It is just like skipping of sound while playing a badly scratched audio CD. When I complained this matter to the customer service center, the technicians visited my home on multiple occasions and found my complain true. This led to the change of my Digicomp. Despite this, the problem still exists.The service persons also told that this problem can be a result of cloudy weather but this type of non-professional and lame excuses can't fool users like us.This problem occurs even on a clear sunny day. I had lodged this complain approx 25 times to the persons availble in the customer care service and all the time they make the bad weather excuse. Sometimes they advise to change the interconnect cable but this is not the fault of cables as this problem persists on both HDMI output as well as Stereo RCA output and i am using a very good quality of both the interconnects of very reputed brands. So, this couldn't be the possible reasons. After my repeated complaints till 3 month, an engineer of Tata Sky called me and told that really there is a problem in their telecast. For which, the company who provided the up-linking/down-linking software is responsible as the software has some glitch in it. He assured me that this problem will be sorted out within one month. But now, 8 months has been passed and the outcome is zero. Today when I again called the services, they sent a technician who reported the problem to his seniors but the seniors told that there is no problem with Tata Sky and this a common problem with every DTH operator and he disconnected the phone. Now, I have decided to move to the Consumer Court against TATA SKY. So it's my advise to all the users the do not buy Tata Sky as it has the above stated problems in it. You can go for any other brands as I have surveyed myself that there is no such problem in any of the service providers except Tata Sky!!

                  Since Feb 2012 have made umpteen requests for shifting my dish - same building - different location for signal purpose with "specific instructions" to come on "SUNDAY - 9 AM to 11 AM" - due load shedding problems. Post registering the complaint i am chased with calls that the engineer wants to come immediately - HIS CONVENIENCE, but heeding to consumer's specific aforesaid request... ON SUNDAY NOBODY TURNS UP OR EVEN MAKES A PHONE CALL. Besides this, they insist that i should "RECHARGE" whereas the digicamp has been totally disconnected for want of signal. Not only this, one of the engineer has gone to the extent of telling "nay baje kaun aayega, 9.30 se pehle to koi uthta bhi nahi hai .. HOW ANYBODY WILL COME SO SOON.. NOBODY GETS UP BEFORE 9.30 AM.. IS THIS TATA SKY SERVICE. Over and above, in March 2012 when i kept reminding for my complaints, booking fresh i was told that the re-location charges have been increased, "WHY THE CUSTOMER SHOULD BEAR BRUNT" for the careless and irresponsible behaviour of Tata Sky staff, call centres.... whoever connected.

                  I fail to understand how Aamir Khan still continues to be Tatasky ambassador.

                  The Tata group seems to have lost their values, ethics, principles and the big wigs taking fat salaries are JUST NOT BOTHERED to see how the AAM AADMI is complaining and it falls on DEAF EARS.

                  DIGICam of Tata Sky — DG cam is not working

                  DG cam box (DTH) of Tatasky is not working properly with the result channels are not getting and TV screen becoms blank.

                    We have logged a request of removing and relocation of TATA sky HD box on last Friday 20 April 2012.
                    Till date the same has not been resolved.

                    But still not received the connection.

                    Had also spoken to Mr. Anthony Supervisor from Tata sky but nothing happened.

                    We are not receiving any call from TATA sky regarding Status. Secondly whenever we call we always get service as new complaint has been logged.
                    Every time a new person visit and he is unable to resolve the query. The person leave the premises without informing the status to us.

                    Some of the name who came are Mr. Vaibhav - [protected],
                    Mr. Nitesh - [protected]
                    Atleast 10 different people visited us after we called TATA sky. But none of them is unable to solve the query.

                    We require our extension of TATa sky period by 10 days, as we have paid the money but are unable to watch TV.

                    Tata Sky HD — NO REPLACEMENT RECEIVED TILL DATE

                    i give the complent twices of time haveing no 1-[protected] dt 17.10.2011 & 1-[protected] -19.10.2011 you service engg came & told that problem in your box & it's recplaced in 24 hrs but from last 7 days your dealer says that no new HD BOX AVAILABE in his stock

                    pl look in this matter & solve on urgent basis

                      WE have purchased HD DTH TV from Tata Sky withe a specification of 500GB recording & storage facility. On purchase we found that there is no 500GB recording neither it is mentioned anywhere in the HD DVR and also to thee most surprising that we cannot see our recorded movies if you do not pay your monthly rentals. The DVR being our property and we have full right to watch thee recorded program at our leisure. Tata Sky has no right to stop us watching our recorded program.

                      We have been continuously calling Tata Sky for last two months and they just keep on doing things in their own way. We have lost more than Rs. 2000/- on telephone bill and are mentally harassed. Kindly guide us how we can claim for our loss and mental harassment's

Since you are able to record I guess you have a Tata Sky+ HD and recorded content are stored only for certain period after expiry of that period you will not be able to watch those content.                           I am really upset with the services offered by such a reputed company - "Tata Sky". I took this connection in the month of March 20, paying Rs.4390, but abruptly, they disconnected our services on April 22. I tried contacting the so called Customer Care numbers given in their website.

                          I got no response & the conclusion is "My Service are not Available"

                            ON 20.4.12 I LAUNCHED A COMPLAIN WITH REFRENCE NUMBER:[protected] AS A RESULT AN ENGINEER VISITED.I ASKED HIM ABOUT THE CHARGES OF VISIT THEN HE ENQUIRED IT FROM SOME OF HIS EXECUTIVE & SAID THAT NO CHARGES WOULD BE THERE.
                            I REMINDED HIM THAT THE AMC OF CONNECTION HAD EXPIRED STILL HE SAID LET HIM DO THE REPAIR WORK & NO CHARGES WOULD BE THERE.
                            AFTER DOING SOME REPAIR WORK ,HE CHECKED THE CONNECTION & THE ERROR WAS RETIVED.BUT IN EVE. I RECEIVED A CALL SAYING SOME PART HAS BEING REPLACED & AS A RESULT Rs.200/ HAS BEING DEDUCTED.
                            ALSO I RECEIVED A CALL YESTERDAY SAYING THAT 1ST THE CHARGES TO BE LEVEID & THETN U CAN LAUNCH A COMPALIN FOR REPAYMENT.
                            WHEN I AM TRYING TO CONTACT TATA SKY TODAY THEY ARE SAYING THE CHARGES R CORRECT & NOTHING CAN BE DONE& WILL TRY SAME IS NOT REPEATED IN FUTURE.
                            THIS IS TOTALLY AGAINST RIGHT TO INFORMATION AS AT THE TIME OF REPAIR ENGINEER SHOLUD HAVE ASKED ME THAT PART IS FAULTY & ITS CHARGES R SO AND SO & SHOLUD HE REPLACE.
                            BUT HE DIDNT DO EITHER JUST REPLACED.
                            SO I REQUEST YOU TOTAKE SOME ACTION & DO SOMETHIGH IN THIS REGARD AS IT WAS TOTALLY AGAINST WRONG INFORMATION PROVIDED & THERE WAS NO FAULT OF MINE STILL I AM THE SUFFERER.
                            We are using Tata Sky since 3 years.We have frequent problem of antenna displacement from its angle. In last 3 months we have complaint it for 3 times, and they repair it. According to Tata Sky guidelines( got from customer care representative ) if this kind of complaint is registered then since the date of repairing up to 3 months if problem occurs then it is not to be chargeable again. We have complain for the same for 3 times and they have charge us for each complain and now they are refusing to rollback 3 charges to 1 charge though we are ready to pay for 1 complain charges. At present Tata Sky have stopped our service. Please Help us for this problem.

                                    Tata Sky — Not providing service

                                    Dear Sir,Madam,

                                    I am "Rashmi Ranjan Acharya" a TataSky user having a/c ID "[protected]".
                                    I am using this service for last 3yrs.
                                    But the service they providing is very bad, and harashing me.

                                    In my TV, i am getting No-Signal, since last Monday night(8th November, 2010).
                                    I waited for one day, and raised a complain on the wednsday morning (10th Nov, 2010), at 9.10 AM.
                                    And that time, i been told that withing 24hrs, your service will be restored and the issue will be resolved, also i got back one SMS saying the technician will be in my house by 11th Nov, 2010, 12.45 PM.

                                    So i took a off from my office work on Thursday(11th Nov), whole day waiting for some technician to turn up. But no body did.
                                    When i inquired with the call center once again, on 11th Nov, arnd 6 PM, i been told that technician should be in my house by Friday(12th Nov,) 12.30 PM.
                                    So i took one more day from office today (Friday, 12th Nov, 2010).

                                    But nobody also turned on till 6PM, 12th Nov, 2010.
                                    As also, the 48 hrs promised time line already passed today morning(12th Nov, 2010) by 9.10 AM, and till evening nobody turned on till now, i have no option but to discontinue from my service and to write to a mail to the consumercompalint, to help me regarding this, and try to understand my/other subscribers issues, how the service providers harashing the customers.

                                    I think you can help me on this.

                                      I am a reputed customer of Tata Sky vide subscriber ID [protected] and from last Monday i.e. 9/04/12, my set top box is not getting any signal. Next day i.e. 10/04/12 , I had made a complain in the customer care no.[protected] , ref. Work order ref. no. 1-[protected]. But almost 3 days gone,but no one from Tata Sky end has attained this call. In between , I have called several time in the customer care to resolve this issue and every one committed me to resolve this issue on urgent basis.They are giving false commitment every time.

                                        I paid on line renewal subscription (recharge) of Rs 1000/- through net banking of Bank of Baroda (Retail) on 08.04.2012 thorough web site Tatasky.com. Transaction was successful, the amount has been deducted from my bank account but TATA SKY has not accounted for the money rather discontnued my services treating defaulter and advised me by SMS to recharge again. Pl look into the matter immediately, either give credit of Rs. 1000/- to my Subscription ID - [protected] or refund the amount to my Bank a/c.
