I have purchased Tata Sky one month back, i am facing many problems with my Tata Sky Box.
Infact the person whi came and installed the box gave me false commitment. I would request never purchase tata sky connection ever.

You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will check the issue with your set top box and try resolving it on call itself or they will send a technician to get it fixed. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and get your issue resolved.

    My first complaint for a "URGENT PAYMENT REMINDER" message appearing in the centre of the screen was conveyed to the call centre on 26.05.2012.
    The Call centre asked me to keep my TV set on assuring that the matter would be resolved within one hour, I have been calling the call centre for 5 days now and the matter has not been resolved till date. It is very irritating when like trained parrots the call centre employees keept on repeating their same memorised lines and my queries and complaint fell on deaf ears.
    My loss - Money spent on phone calls and holding the line for half an hour per call, waiting for the cal centre employee to get back to me with information. My energy and loss of peace when the Call centre employees - Arjun,Deepak & Rajeev (probably senior) kept on repeating that the matter will be resolved within one hour- Knowing fully well that the matter has maintained its status quo for the past 5*24 hours. The electricity i spent in keeping my TV set on. I am feeling bad that even a business concern like Tata's can give false commitments for 5 days at a stretch with least sensitivity to what was being said.

      Respected Sir,

      i got my Tata Sky account recharged with a balance of Rs 2400 to get the aforementioned services for another 6 months on 27.5.2012. I received a message on my registered mobile no. that an amount of Rs. 2400 has successfully been credited into my Tata Sky account but still the services were not restored. I called the toll-free helpline and was assured that the services will resume within few hours. when the same was not done , i again made 5-6 calls to the Tata Sky people and each time i was assured that the services will resume shortly. I was even made to talk to their technical department which extended the same assurance.
      When the services were not restored in the next 48 hours, i called them again and to my surprise what they told me was that your complaint has not yet been registered. this was totally unexpected from a company like the same as the name TATA, what i thought, reinforces assurity of good services and after sails assistance. Still after paying 2400 bucks, i am still unable to avail Tata sky services as on 30.5.2012 even when i am continuously being charged for the same.

      Thus I would like you to do the needful to make sure that companies like these do no not cheat people and misappropriate their hard earned money.

        My TATA sky set top box is not working , since last 8 days ,I have called several times to customer care , but still no action has been taken on this issue. They are just telling that you will receive call tomorrow but its now more than 8 days but still I haven't got any call or service from them. They are just making me fool.

        So please note my complaint and take appropriate action.

        I AM AN YEAR OLD CUSTOMER OF TATASKY & THESE DAYS FACING A HELL LOT OF PROBLEM WITH THEIR SERVICE.MY ID IS [protected].& FILED COMPLAINT ON 5/5/09. FROM LAST 15 DAYS MY TATASKY SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING & SINCE LAST 8 DAYS I HAVE LODGED A COMPLAINT AT CUSTOMER CARE BUT THERE IS NO ONE TO LISTEN. THE SERVICE PROVIDED TO CUSTOMERS IS PATHETIC. I HAVE CALLED THEM AT LEAST 50 TIMES IN THESE DAYS BUT THERE'S NO ONE TO LISTEN TO CUSTOMER VOICE.IF THIS KIND OF BUSINESS THEY ARE DOING I DON'T THINK WE CAN CONTINUE WITH THEM.

BUT THEY DIDN'T DISCONNECTED ON 24/9/2009 AND THEY USED SPORTS PACK MONEY IN THE MAIN PACK AND NOW DISCONNECTED IT FOR REASON WE DINT KNOW. I HAVE CALLED TO CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY ARE NOT RESPONDING IN NICE MANNER. PLEASE HELP US IMMEDIATELY.

          I have charged my Tat sky DTH service on 19.05.2012 but till to date the urgent payment reminder display in my whole TV screen like eclipse. Despite of making complaints numbers of time , they can not resolve my problem intentionally. Persons besides ([protected]) this land line numbers give his/her own time for problem resolution like it will rectified by 10.15 , It will resolved by 15.50 , it will be resolved by 9.45 etc. I have spent more than 50 rupees behind making call to them . Even though my problem can not resolved by them till date.At last i have teletalk with miss Pinky ( Supervisor) , she gave new time for problem rectification and it was 1200 hours. But nobody care for my problem.

          Me and my family can not enjoy TV programs from 19.05.2012.

          Last recharge on 19.05.2012 , 260 rupees.

            Tata Sky dish purchased and installed 3 months back. My TATA SKY ID : [protected]. The local dealer Bhaskar, Mobile no: [protected] Avanigadda is delaying on the plea he has no balance. He was called from three days continuously but he does not answer nor come to receive the year's payment. Our TV connection is cut. I do not have facilities for online payment. Is there some way you can tell this man not to cause this harassment and accept and restore my TV connection?

            Hope you will respond. The SMS to your LM_MYTSKY cannot be sent as it is continuously showing error. There should be some way in this day and age. You are drowning us with messages but will not allow ours through. Very unfair.

                I ordered for a new TATA SKY connection on 21st May 2012 with a scheduled installation for 10 am on 22nd May 2012. I got NO CALL from their installation executive. I have been calling customer service ever since and four rescheduled timings have been arranged to no avail. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. The representatives have no knowledge of the issues or the solution. They blatantly lie to the customer providing them interim installation time for which they never turn up. This kind of behaviour is totally unexpected of a reputed organisation such as TATA and is a blotch on their service and reputation. I would like to recommend all fellow customers to opt for alternative DTH service as this one is definitely not worth your time.

                TataSky — Neither installed and nor refund the money

                Sub: Refund of Rs 5000/-, subscription no: [protected]

                Dear Customer Service Manager,

                I would like to inform that, I am one of your customer who had paid Rs 5000/- in August 2008 through Credit Card ...with the assurance given by your executive that, without any hurdles or follow-up, you guys shall install the dish as per the convenient locations of my choice. I am very particular for the DISH installation as I am staying in a Ground floor of a DDA Flat and all other floors belongs to others, there by the installation of DISH is possible only to the extend of the height of my floor which is a maximum of 18 FT from the ground.

                Since I was knowing the fact & communicated properly before placing the order that, If the DISH is willing to install at the locations where I wanted to install, which is above 15 feet from the Ground and all the other above floors are occupied by others and I have no right to ask or install DISH at their roof.. Thereby I insisted to install the same at a particular place where that could be ideally fitted without disturbing other's area...

                But unfortunate after swapping and realized/debited the money from my account, your guys have changed your stand and unwilling to install the same at the location where I asked to install...

                I have spend almost two hours daily for the last two month continusely to have/find a solution for the said issue, which you can check in your system and also been recorded in my telephone, but failed miserably and finally I realized that I have been cheated by a well reputed company with a high vision and specialization in cheating the public/people...

                I have finally given up & conveyed to your customer service executive to refund my money, which you were illegally collected through my credit card. As usual you shown the “DISH installation method “the same aggression you have conveyed and communicated to me that my money will not be refunded as the same is not in your company policy.

                I would again request you to refund the money, which you were illegally collected by without fulfilling the commitment /promise and enjoying for the last three months …As you aware that my patience have tested innumerous times by your company and your company people thereby nothing left out in my array other than to approach the appropriate body for getting back my amount which you illegally and wrongfully collected from my account..

                With this letter I would like to inform you that, unless I received my money back with in fifteen days, I shall approach the appropriate legal forum to get back my money at the cost of your expense.

                This is regarding my new TATA SKY connection. When i talked to customer support executive i was told that the instalation will be done in next 4 hrs if i pay through my credit card.

                I took the connection paying through credit card but its going to be 24 hrs & i have neither received the setup box nor the instalation has been done.

                The customer support is worst.

                I have booked a new connection for Tata Sky. When I booked the people called me and informed that if you Purchase from internet then it will take 7 days for installation but I booked by their call centre then it will take 48 hours max. So, i was fooled and I went through call centre and booked the connection. They even charged my Card but its now more than 72 hrs and I have not recieved the connection. I believe that Tata Sky cannot keep their word. Now again they have said that their engineer will call within 24hrs but I dont believe. They even supplied me with one year subscription but I am not sure if I will continue after that or even upto that.
                i purchased a new LG LCD, they gave me a tatasky connection free. for that i need to make an SMS, i smsed them on 3rd of Nov. n got their reply that they will call me in next 4 hours. they didnt call me, then i called them after 5 hours. they told me that my request has been forwarded now n i ll get a call soon. From 3rd to 5th Nov. they make me fool. on 6th i again called them. them commit me to install the hardware in 24 hours... again they failled... its 9th Nov. today n they have not installed the hardware yet. and they have no satisfactory answer. i have their names with me whom i have been talking to...

                Tata Sky — INSTALLATION DELAY

                Dear Sir,



                I have registered TATA SKY connection ([protected])on 15/11/2010 with assurance of installation on 17th November 2010 up to 11 PM.

                The same was confirmed by me on 16th November 2010. But on 17th November, non of your engineer / technician visited / phoned to me, I had call your office more than 7 times, every time it takes around 20-30 minutes call. At last on 17th November 2010 installation was not completed.

                During conversation Mr. Karur (Group leader) assured me that the installation will be finished on 21 November without any further delay. I wrote 2-3 e-mails to [protected]@tatasky.com regarding the same issue.

                I had made approximate 15-20 calls to helpline ([protected]) but still no any reply observed from TATA Sky.

                You are requested to take this issue with Tata sky.

                I am using TATA SKY from last 2 Years. I done complaint from 5th Nov i.e WO No. 1-[protected]. till now their is no progress in work. even customer care and dealer no giving response. It's a very bad experience with TATA SKY. Nobody giving response and taking my complaint seriously and they are also deducting the charges on daily basis even i am not using my connection...

                i am fully agree with this complaint as i am also facing problem in Installation. My subscriber id is [protected]. When i have booked dish they promised it will be installed in 5-7 working days. I am calling tata sky people on daily basis and they are not able to send their technician at my home from last 1 month and 10 days.when i asked them about refund they directly refused it. I have paid 4270/- rupees through credit card. I am feeling like cheated.
                My Tata Sky Subscriber ID is [protected]. I paid Rs. 3999 for Tata Sky +HD connection on 26th February 2011. I was promised that within 3 days Tata Sky will install the new set up box and get the HD connection activated. Today is 6th March (9 days already) and still no sign of the set up box or installation. Repeated calls to the Tata Sky Help Line have yielded a standard response "We will revert to you in 24 hours". The Help Desk has been tutored to say just that - that irritates you more. Apparently there seems to be a shortage of set up boxes; If that is the case, why did Tata Sky accept my subscription? Can someone responsible from Tata Sky revert?
                Hi, I do have same problem. I have made request on March 9th and crossed 5 days, No single call/no intallation happened. Repeated calls to the Tata Sky Help Line have yielded me a standard response "We will revert to you in 24 hours". One of the worst service from TATA Sky
                My Tata Sky subscriber ID is [protected]. I relocated to Mumbai recently from Hyderabad. I placed a request for the installation of the dish with customer care. I received a message with ref no: 1-[protected]. The message also said that my dish would be installed on April 24 at around 12.40 pm. I waited till the end of the day for the Tata Sky engineer to turn up, putting on hold all my other work for which I had to go outside. However, the engineer did not turn up and my dish was not installed. Before placing the request, I recharged my card with Rs 1,000. I noticed that Tata Sky had been deducting money from my account without the dish being installed. Basically, I was being charged for “not watching TV”. I made many calls that day to customer care, but no concrete action was taken. During my first call, the customer care executive assured me that my dish would be installed that day as promised. I want Tata Sky to refund my Rs 1000 now as it is unfair on their part to charge me for services I haven’t been getting. I had to even postpone my plans to go out of station because of the delay caused by the company.
                Pursuant to my complaint above, Tata Sky assured me that the Rs 1000 I had put in my Tata Sky account had been refunded to my bank account on April 25. They assured me that I would get my money back within 4-6 working days. It has been 10 working days now, and I don't see the money in my account. The company's customer care, is as usual, clueless. They put me on hold for eternity and I didn't get a positive response. I would like to know when the company plans to pull up its act and refund my money. I have wasted enough hours on the phone trying to talk to customer care. In between I also noticed that they changed my package without my consent and deducted the amount from my account. But, at least on that front, the customer care executive took care of restoring my package immediately.

                we puchased a new tata sky connection thru credit card on internet, and it was promissed by tata sky that the person would come within 24 hours. after payment they never turned up even after the promissed period and continuouse follow up thru their helpline number. we called them more than thrice when everytime it was promissed that they will arrange a call back. but they neither called back nor the instalation done. this is cheating with customers.

                  I am a regular Tata Sky subscriber for the past 5 years.I for got to recharge before due date and then recharged for an amount of Rs 500.Tata sky did resume services following the recharge but the screen is continuously showing an error message on every channel (picture uploaded).I called up the customer care people 5 times.Each time they said they are in the process of rectifying the problem.I have even talked to the " SUPERVISOR" level twice, but all I have got are same lame answers like:
                  " We are sorry for the inconvenience caused"
                  " Will get back to you in 24 HRS"
                  " I will personally call you"
                  " I ensure we will have the same resumed"

                  Nothing has worked, I safely assume by asking for my refund I am justified I have been harassed to an extent I am forced to take this to the consumer courts. The careless attitude and the lack of basic civility towards customers.

                  Supervisors I talked to were Avinash and Yasmin . It seems that all have been trained to the last line in the same selection of words and sentences.
                  Truly a humiliating, waste of time,money, energy and a frustrating experience.

                  In this digital age they cant even rectify this simple problem.Its been almost 24 hours following the problem and they have till now made deductions for daily usage for 2 days and yet not have corrected the problem.I am fed up of Tata Sky.I totally recomend pls do not opt for TATA SKY.

                    my tata sky is creating problems. whenever i switch on the TV set, it shows the technical problem written on it.

                    the tata sky id : [protected] , name : amit kumar jain , complaint refernece no: 1-[protected], date:[protected].

                    when i called them, they send a local boy to fix the wiring, & said that this is the engineer.
                    according to the tata sky the engineer is a person who has worked for tata sky for at least a month. since , the person is a month experienced, so he is a engineer. no need for any degree or diploma. no need for the studies. but he has become engineer.
                    now every time, the so called tata sky engineers , detect a new problem. some time, the wiring problem , sometime the positioning of the dish of the tata sky , sometimes the set top box problem. bu& tell them that this is the problem, not the one they were thinking. so they need to send another engineer.

                    recently, i recieved a call from tatas ky that i am misguiding them. they said that every time i change the matter of my complaint.
                    now how can i tell them what is the exact problem? i think this is the job of so highly qualified tata sky the engineers.
                    after a mon th of complaints.i have reached only 3 conclusions:

                    1. if there is any problem with tata sky, then i should be a perfectionist, i shopuld tell them the exact reason of not working of the tata sky.
                    2. parents need not tech my kids for such a higher eduction. parents need not sepend any much on education. only simply send the kid to tata sky for one month experience, they will give him a degree of engineering. wow what a money saving plan.
                    3. the bad responsibility from tata sky says, that i must file a complaint in the consumer court.

                      I made a complaint on 9th april 2012 for No HD Audio, they swapped my settop box which is at
                      the end of warranty and not charged as it is under warranty,

                      After 2 weeks swapped settop box got same problem and they didnt respond for my complaint,
                      I didnt bother as i am able to switch to AVI cable and continue seeing all channels without issue.

                      But within a month on 7th may 2012 settop box was totally down not getting Power ON.
                      when made complaint they took more then a week to solve the issue (solved on 13th may)

                      They in charged me 350 rs on the next day and deactivate my account which has been never comunicated. Now they
                      ask me to pay for resuming all channels.

                      When asked for explanation on 14th and 17th may, the customer care engineer arranged for a callback, which never received.

                      It has been a week today on 20th may they say call is resolved and closed. Please help me to resolve this issue.

                        MOST PATHETIC SERVICE OF TATA SKY


                        I am writing this in utter disappontment as TATA SKY has proved it self to be the most UNPROFESSIONAL, CHEATER and LIAR service provider.

                        My case goes as follows:
                        DAY 1 : complaint is made
                        DAY 2 : I am given a time of 11- 12 noon. No one comes by 3pm and again when I call I am given a time of 4-5 pm. 5.30pm I receive a call from your technician and he says he is reaching my home in 20 mins. He doesn't come.
                        DAY 3 : I make 5-6 calls and am given different timings and urgent basis request, but still no one comes. I have spoken to 3 of your supervisors, Mr. Upadhyay, Mr. kaustabh and Mr. Mahendra.

                        All of them gave me false promises that it will be resolved in one hour but 3 DAYS are over and no one has bothered to solve my complaint.

                        In the past 3 days , I have made at least 30 calls and I cannot go out anywhere because your executives are giving me false timing throughout the day.

                        Please remove your advertisement from television which claim of your amazing service.

                          I am using Tata Sky for last 3.5 years, with subscription ID [protected]. I have moved to 7C-503, Kalpataru Estate, Pimple Gurav, Pune-27 recently, and requested Tata Sky for reinstallation at the new location.

                          The request was raised on 6th of May 2012, with work order number 1-[protected]. But, the work has not been done. I have specifically mentioned that my preferred timing is either after 8:30 in the evening during weekdays, or anytime during week days. An engineer has visited on 8th but, left without doing the work, saying the dish is not properly installed.

                          Even till date, the request has not been completed, while I am being charged for all the downtime caused by Tata Sky. I have got another work order number 1-[protected] on 13th May 2012. Today, another engineer from Tata Sky called up and said installation after 7PM is not possible. It should be noted that the first time the engineer visited was on 8th May, at 9PM. Since both myself and my wife are working people, it is not possible to reach home before 8:30. Also, the Tata Sky engineers are not so friendly when they visit.

                          I am fed up with Tata Sky Customer care. Everytime I call them up, they say I will get call back in 24hrs, but never get one.

                            My name is ajay kumar singh i have been your tata sky customer for more than 6 years i have always made payment to my a/c by credit card this time however when i made the payment a screen was blocking my TV saying your payment is due and need to make urgent payment otherwise service will be deactivated even after making payment this screen continues to block my tv i called your customer services agent Durga she was giving excuses that payment is in the process of being claimed money is till not transfered i work with a bank and she is cooking stories for me if you pay by credit card payment is transfered instantly as i confirmation from my hdfdc bank also your IVR confirmed payment has been recieved but your agent says it will take 4 Hrs. for payment to come in and then only i can watch TV i understand there is some technical fault at your end as she conf. other customers are also facing same issue but is still speaking lie it works this way only you are barring my services for 4 hrs. can you tell me how will you compensate me as after payment i am entitled for uninterrupted service from you if its a fault from your end you should compensate me as it never happened to me in last six years now you barred ny service and your agent is giving me lies also she did not connect me to supervisor when repeatedly asked for him and i missed for hrs of service so can you tell me why should i continue with your service and not go to consumer court and not tell everybody of your apalling service

                              I HAVE ORDERED FOR A NEW CONNECTION ON 1ST MAY 2012. HAVE NO RESPONSE FROM THE TEAM SINCE 10 DAYS. WHEN I CALLED UP THE CALL CENTER THEY ALWAYS TRANSFERRED THE CALL TO THE ESCALATION TEAM BUT SEEMS THEY ARE ALSO NOT ABLE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. FINALLY A SENIOR OFFICER HAD SHARED THE VENDOR'S NO. SO THAT I DIRECTLY GET IN TOUCH WITH HIM FOR INSTALLATIONS. HE IS AGAIN A USELESS FELLOW WHO IS ALWAYS GIVING A NEW DATE.

                              I M SURPRISED WHY TATA SKY IS NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE THE NEW CONNECTION.
                              IF THEY ARE INCAPABLE, WHY DON'T THEY ACCEPT THEIR INABILITY AND PUT THE REQUEST FOR CANCELLATION.

                              IF WE DELAY THE PAYMENT, THEY DISCONNECT THE SERVICES AND IN SOME OTHER BUSINESSES THEY CHARGE THE LATE PAYMENT. NOW WHEN THEY DELAY THE INSTALLATION, WHAT KIND OF COMPENSATION ARE THEY GOING TO PROVIDE.

                              Tata Sky — IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR

                              I am customer of Tata sky. My Subscriber Id is [protected]. Whenever there is power cut or the Digicom stops working sometimes even in the range 20 to 25 days. The customer care of Tata Sky is hope less and never helped in any matter. They only know to tell "First recharge then call help line". Once we have recharged for Rs.500.00 but waisted full money as the customer care engineer visited and solved the problems only after 15 days by installing old digicome and charged Rs.600 from us. We are again facing same problems and fear that the same thing will repeat. I want the Digicom should be repaired/replaced before recharging for which Tata Sky is not ready.

                              TATA SKY PEOPLE ONLY WANTS NEW CLIENT AND FEOR RXISTING CLIENTS THEIR SERVICE IS BIG ZERO RATHER NEGATIVE. SO IF YOU ARE THINKING OF NEW DTH CONNECTION READ THE FOLLOWING AND DECIDE OTHERWISE YOUR LIFE WILL BE ZINGALALA I.E. FROM PILLAR TO POST.

                              Unfortunately I am tatasky customer with I.D.[protected].My DTH was not working since last 6 days and all my efforts to get it replaced went in vain.The details are as under:-
                              On 9th July 2011 I called up customer care centre and spoke to one Mr.. Suresh and explained the problem. He guided me through various solutions and ultimately concluded that my DTH box needs replaced. He assured me that within 24 hour engineer will come and do the needful.But till today no body has appeared.

                              As no body came till 48 hours of my complaint I called again on 11/07/2011 at customer care center and spoke to Mr.Kiran. He wanted another 12 hours for the replacement. I then spoke to his senior Mr.Mahendra at the same time and he promised me that replacement will be done on 12/07/2011 before 10.00 AM.The same result as that of my complaint of 9/07/201r..

                              On 12/07/2011 again in the evening when I contacted tatasky, I spoke to ms. Mamta and later on to her superior mr.harsh. Mr. harsh promised me to cal back within 1 hour.After 1 hour somebody called me again and was asking for more time.

                              This is the way those people are attending complaints, for which we are charged, reminds me of the Govt. offices of old days. I am without TV. since last 6 days ad therefore reminding the people to think 100 times before going to tatasky,

                                  I asked the Tata Sky people to install the DTH. They delayed it incessantly after every half an hour. I was harassed mainly because I was kept waiting for them till 10 PM and at the end of the day, they just rescheduled the installation. Moreover, the service staff was utterly unresponsive and impolite and said," You can do whatever you want, we will come when we wish." I had to cancel an appointment for a job which was never completed. My mistake was I paid installation charges initially as advance. One shouldn't pay them in such a scenario. I want to get my money back now and get some other DTH service provider.
                                  You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will check the status of installation. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and get you set top box installed immediately.

                                    First of all, someone please listen the OBD which is after dialling call center number. She says press A/8, no body understands, if you press 8, it will say sorry no option pressed. if you press A then it will go to showcase option. If you want to save money on call center, please change your brand to Tata SHY than Tata Sky....

                                    We had shifted our house from Saket to Surajkund,Faridabad. This required a relocation of our Tata Sky connection that we were using. For this

                                    1) I called the customer care service, on 3 Nov, to forward a request. I was told i had to first recharge my account for the request to be forwarded.

                                    2) I got a recharge done on 6 Nov, and called up customer care to request for relocation. I was told that relocation would be executed within 48 hours of the filing of request.

                                    3) Then i received a message on 7th of Nov at 11:20 am that relocation would be done before 9th Nov 11:20 am. I called up customer care again on 7th, and told them that my request was urgent as it concerned a patient coming back from the hospital, after a paralytic attack and having nothing to do except watch T.V. The executive told me that he had forwarded the request as Urgent, and that somebody would surely be sent on 8th morning to do the relocation.

                                    4) After waiting till the evening on 8th, i called up customer care to inquire. I was told that my relocation was scheduled latest by 9th morning and it will be serviced surely by then.

                                    5) Again, with no service on 9th, I called up customer care to complaint. I was told that an engineer would call me soon and confirm the address, and that relocation would be done before 6pm on 9th itself.

                                    6) I did not receive any call nor any service, so I called up customer care centre again on 9th at 6pm. I was really frustrated so I told the executive to connect me to a senior. After a long wait, i was finally connected to Rachit from the Mohali Branch. He assured me that the service would be provided by 8:30pm. Hence, I waited.

                                    7) Then finally on 11th, the engineer came to do the relocation.

                                    For more than a week, me and my brother kept on calling customer care; waited for hours for our calls to be transferred to an executive; repeatedly requested for an urgent relocation; answered innumerable calls from odd service centres like chandigarh, malviya nagar, mohali, etc; being assured that service would be provided soon; with our father in serious condition, back from the hospital from a paralysis attack, and having nothing to do but wait for the T.V. This has caused a lot a agony and stress in the family.

                                    To add to all this, immediately after the service, our Tata digicomp stopped working. We are now being told that to receive repair service, we would first have to forward a request at the customer care centre and it will be done surely within 48 hours. I guess this starts the whole gruesome process again.

                                    So, I am left with no patience to undergo the trauma once again and therefore reach the Consumer Forum for financial as well as mental redressal.
                                    I am an existing customer of Tata Sky & I am enjoying Semi Annual Mega Pack, which is going to expire today. Since yesterday I have been trying to recharge online of Rs.3300/- for renewal of the said pack. But each time it is showing ‘Transaction Unsuccessful’. I have called up customer care for atleast 10/12 times. Each time the so-called customer care executives are coming up with different excuses, like ‘transaction under process, will be effective soon, recharge cannot be done by Axis Bank Debit card, server is down’ & so on. Moreover they have called me to ask whether I am interested to continue the package. Number of times they are transferring the phonecalls to a different department & ultimately the lines get disconnected. This type of service from such a reputed company of quite unexpected. I am getting tired of such type of pathetic service.
                                    Worst customer service that any DTH service can provide...Pathetic team on the call centre who is so arrogant...till things work fine it is good....the day the problem hits...that is when you realize that there is no support for customer....

                                    Suggest you do not go for this service

                                    My set top box was working fine however i kept getting messages from tata sky that i need to upgrade to MPEG4 box to view all channels... I had called tata sky on saturday and the same day someone came and replaced the box.. He mentioned that it will be activated in 4 hours... I have tried reaching tata sky helpline numbers for the last 3 days and i must say this is the worst customer service i have ever encountered in my life, that too with tata i never expected.. May be the call center is outsourced to some 3rd world city, people dont understand english, they disconnect calls on your face, they put you on hold while you are talking, they transfer the call while you are talking, basically the worst run call center... Today morning i spoke to someone by name Priyanka for 3 times and she disconnected my call all 3 times..

                                    I have tried reaching the call center atleast 15 times in the last 4 days...They somehow just dont understand...

                                    My core issue is that my connection is not active, it says the smart card is not compatible with the box...

                                    1. I need this issue fixed immediately...

                                    2. i need credit for all 4 days where there was no service..the money you have deducted from my account

                                    3. Serious action taken on the call center you have outsourced...I am sure you should run a survey with other english customers who unfortunately cannot talk in hindi...

                                        I give request for re-installation of Tata Sky dt 1 May 2012. They give assurance we give better service. Executive call, he come at my residence dt 3 May 2012 at 2 pm for re-installation. But Executive not come. I give near about 28 call for Executive not visit to my residence. But thereafter they not given service of re-installation. After all feedback from Tollfree No. I think that, this is Worlds too bad Service of Guttar ka Service. Sub ID-[protected]
