Hi,
I had Tikona Broadband Connection in 2019.
I had taken 6 month plan for which I made payment in advance.As internet service was pathetic, i decided to close account. For same raised request on Tikona app. There was no response from Tikona either for bad service or for closure of account. I changed my broadband provider. And now Tikona people are harassing for due payments.
Once my plan got over and I took new broadband connection why would need such a pathetic service of Tikona.
In December plan got expired, since then I am using other broadband service, why Tikona needs payment?
I have already paid for all used services so please stop harassment.
1) I have written 5-6 mails regarding disconnection nothing happened.
2)No one picks call at Customer care
3)I already raised service request on their app and I disconnected immediately as already there was no service.
4)Need help against these harassment calls
Please help.
It creates annoying environment at home.

    Hi Team, I am feedup of your service.
    Facing speed issue since a month but my problem is not at all addressed. Your app gives a fake status of the complaints that we register, your call center doesn't receive our calls.

    Kindly do something else, I have to lodge a complaint with the consumer grievance portal.

        I have opted for 40Mbps plan for 6 month. Accordingly i have paid the ammount for 6 months. For initial 10 days service was fine but later they are unable to provide speed as per plan. Also, thereis frequent network issues and flutuations happening from last 3 months.

        I need complete refund for the amount i have paid, as company did not fulfilled the service as promised.

          Despite of many follow ups no body is looking into my issue, I got internet connection on 11th oct 2020, for 2 days only the internet worked properly but after that I am facing a lot of issues like no connection or very less speed. Tikona team kindly improve your service. Being an IT professional and working from home I am unable to do my job. Please do your job so that I can do mine.

          I raised multiple complaint but only message I received to keep on your router or wifi.

          What's this???

          If you people don't have proper bandwidth why you are giving new connection?

            I am trying upgrade my plan since last 2-3 months. But still I am helpless to upgrade any.

            I have renew my plan in April or may at that time i want to upgrade my plan but customer staff told me that new plan require new device so due to lockdown it is not possible to install new device. So at that time I have just renew my existing pan and he told me when you need to upgrade just call on customer care they upgrade my plan then mentioned in system also. And also I have also negotiate plan amount to 10% discount. So I have tried many time on phone.

            I have try to contact on phone but no success and it always say that "due to this pandemic we are unable." I think covid19 is affecting only tikona people not any other service providers.

            I have also try to upgrade plan from app (as per your suggestion in one of you mail) but still i am not able to upgrade plan there also. And also if I am upgrade from app then I have to pay full amount. It is loss for me.

            I have also try contacting vie email but still not found and solutions from your side .

            Is this way to treat your customer. All other service provider is operating their service normally last 2-3 months back and you guys are still switching off your customer care and not doing any solutions to your customers.

            Please do not send fake mesage like "we are try to contact you but you are not reachable" I leave in very well connected network area.

            And also do not send me mail like "due to this situations we are not able call you"

              I had done online payment from tikona link on 'payment.tikona.in' on 8th Feb of Rs 2404 for my new service id [protected]. Later I was told to do another payment of 1490 for another new user id [protected]. I did it on 11th Feb and the old account was going to be transferred to this new one. Due to some challenges, installation was stopped by the guy who was to do the installation. I have been expecting refund ever since then.

                I have requested for new connection via Tikona on 11th Aug 2020. I have made payment directly to Tikona (receipt attached). I have then cancelled the connection without installation. I have email to customer care on 24th Aug 2020 for refund. Since them i have sent them several email for refund but haven't receive any reply from them till today. Raised complaints on their app as well but no response

                  I have discontinued/disconnected tikona services since May and have paid the whatsoever amount in June.

                    I live in Ahmedabad and used tikona for an year and half. Sent an email to them to discontinue the connection so just in reply to that recieved an email to wait. After a month i started having multiple calls and emails about my pending bill from computer generated destinations where you can't talk back or reply . On 4th September got a demand notice email about amount to be paid. Today got a threatening call from an advocate that a civil complaint has been filed against me. If i don't pay i have to go to delhi court. So i talked and tried reasoning with her and asked her to send me the soft copy of the complaint but she fooled me with her talk and convinced me to pay the amount. I asked her the amount, in answer she told me an amount which was different from the demand notice. Still i logged in the tikona application and went to quick pay option where the amount was 680.52. There is no editing option so i paid amount. And sent her the receipt. She said you are suppose to pay more. I said its not showing more. She said go the app again and see. I logged in again and then saw the amount was now 1947. So i asked why this much so she said that its the company policy and i have to pay. I asked to send me an email regarding this amount and bifurcation of the amount. She again started threatening me and cut my call. After 15 minutes she called again and gave a case detail and told me this is your case detail now will see you in court. I have the dates of the email i did to them. I have bill payment msg also. And an email from company also demanding the amount 681. I asked the lady to give a contact number of a local person or a person who can guide me through this. But she denied and threatened me to see me in court. Even after paying the amount she has filed a said case against me.

                    Hi,

                    I have faced the very same issue.. They made me pay 1160 Rs, threatening me that if i didnt pay, they will send my number to court and block my government documents for 25 years. Out of sheer fear I had to pay. Even when the router is disconnected this is happening. And even after cancellation i have received a bill of 1255 rs!!! I am highly frustrated with these people now.

                      The Tikona Broadband was installed with a promise of continuous connectivity, even during power outages o[censored]pto 8 hours. After the first few weeks, the Broadband started getting disconnected whenever MSEDCL power supply failed. This happens multiple times during the day.                         Dear Sir/Madam,

                        I took prepaid connection of Tikona in 2019 and they failed to provide good service and even after relocation they failed to reallocate account to another place and accepted the same over calls and they says you will not recieve any calls but they still calls and threatens in calls and now they send notice emails.

                        1. I took a prepaid connection how they will continue and bill after completion of period.
                        2. I disconnected before the next cycle due to less bandwidth
                        3. They fail to reallocate.
                        4. They accepted they fault and apologized in the call but still they continue calling to pay the remaining bill. If I explain again and again they keep calling me and sending the emails.

                          Lawyer from Tikona called me saying he was from delhi high court, threatening me to pay due bill of rs.3000. I have not used my connection Since March then why will I pay for next six months you can check there are 0 data usage of network i have also filled a request for this that due to pandemic I am not in town when I will back I will give full equipments, then what is this due amount for?

                          Constantly they are calling from past few weeks, misbehaving and threatening to file a case, even without sending a legal notice.
                          what should i do now?

                              I think TIKONA is the biggest "digital scam" in this country. I have opted for a pre-paid connection, I paid full amount and got TIKONA subsription on october 2019. Now, just after a week, the connection became worst. I called customer Care executive several times, i asked and called the agent several times, no, for no use. I paid extra amount as the agent promised that he is going to give direct ethernet cable and a battery to the main router so that I can use internet even when there is no electricity, but no, that never happened.

                              Now, after asking multiple times for disconnection, I paid again 3000 rs on May 15, which renewed my services for 3 months( till august 15). I left my place on 30th june and the rest of the days there was no usage of internet( waste of my money)
                              Now, this scam company is asking me to pay again rs 3000, and as they are saying, it is a "prepaid-postpaid connection". Calling multiple times to tikona care and writing several emails did not help.

                              Today, they sent me a legal notice kind of thing( way to cheat), that I need to pay immediately. I emailed and tried to call again. I swear, if I get one more call or an email as such, I am going to lodge an FIR and raise a court complaint under IPC Section 421. Its enough of harassment, even they sent 3-4 people at my place to threaten me and to pay the amount even though i had requested disconnection and multiple grivences, is this the way you run your business in a democratic country? You send me a legal notice( fake)??? Be ready for a hefty compensation. Thank you

                              I had faced the exact same issue. They called me saying a legal case will be filed if i didnt pay an "outstanding amount" of 1160 Rs. I had vacated the apartment in June and wasnt even using the internet. In fact the router was disconnected. So how did they even generate a bill???

                              I have been asking for compensation and a means to complain as well because now they have generated a new bill of 1255Rs. I dont even live in that city anymore!!

                                  Dear Tikona, I think you haven’t checked your email box and call centre complaints. You better check and then ask to write to tikona forum. It’s of no use no help on call centre no reply towards emails
                                  I have emailed all details what else is required. Every day I call 20 times at your customer care number, people at ur call centre just know how to disconnect the call. They do know how to resolve issue.

                                    I already wrote mail several times to deactivate my account and tikona guys are failing to do it. I have already paid the amount which i shared with their lawyer as well when i received a call from lawyer earlier. I had requested for deactivation of the account much earlier when the out standing amount was only rs586 which i paid and sent an email to deactivate my tikona account. I don't know from where you generated again one more bill of 1685. Today i received a call from lawyer again saying that they are lodging a complaint against me in delhi court for non payment. When i already sent twice to deactivate the account, why they still kept it active and generating bill for the same. I have attached the screenshot of the mail sent to deactivate the account.

                                      The customer care does not care for customer.

                                      If you face a problem on day 1, if they fix it, for them it is fixed to the extent that you will not get second time problem on the very next day.

                                      If you call them on such occasions, their ivr disconnects the caller stating that the problem is already fixed!

                                      If you send email they say use tikona app, if you use tikona app it says problem is fixed!! Further, they state email for billing related issues and not for technical support!!!

                                      Is the above setup called as customer caring setup?

                                      I think there should be some norms for service providers especially isps. I am writing separately to ministry of electronics and information technology separately to put a stop for such poor isps

                                        Hi sir, i have raised a request to close my internet connection on 16th sept 2020 (User id - [protected]). However, to date, nothing has been done. This company is very famous for charging extra amount by not taking request and delaying it so that they can raise extra bills. Their customer care number doesn't work[protected], no one receives the call. Their customer care email also doesn't work ([protected]@tikona.in), no one replies apart for an auto-reply that they are processing the request. I have got multiple calls from them asking the reason for disconnecting the service. Despite mentioning that in my request. But after that nothing has been done yet. Also, their executive who called me saying they are working for tikona, now when i call them back that lady refused to have spoken to me saying the wrong number that she doesn't work for tikona (Prajakta patil - [protected]). I have kept trai marked in all the mails since this company is a cheat. Please help!

                                        Their Customer service people call me and ask me the reason for disconnecting. After that they try for retention. But they dont tell anything about discinnection. Neither they communicate about the process. I am fed up iwth the kind of customer service they provide.

                                        @Tikona your FORUM dosnt work just like your CUSTOMER care service. I have been contacted by your no. of service executives but however your incompetent service staff just like you are unable to disconnect my account dispite putting request 11 days ago. Your service executives refuses a day after they called that they work for Tikona (Prajakta Patil). Such a fraud company you guys are. I have created my account on your FORUM.tikona.in.. but you guys do not send the activation mail because you know the moment people activate thier account you guys will get more compalints about your ### service. My user ID: [protected] and account disconnection service request ID: 1-[protected] (revised ID: 1-[protected]). Take action immediately and close this account at the earliest.

Literally every time they call they just ask same question and try to retain the customer in any cost and later on if you call them they deny that they work for Tikona. Their employees too are scared of them. This company is a fraud company and dupe the csutomers.
