Hi Sir, I have raised a request to close my internet connection on 16th Sept 2020 (User id - [protected]). However, to date, nothing has been done. This company is very famous for charging extra amount by not taking request and delaying it so that they can raise extra bills. Their customer care number doesn't work[protected], no one receives the call. Their customer care email also doesn't work ([protected]@tikona.in), no one replies apart for an auto-reply that they are processing the request. I have got multiple calls from them asking the reason for disconnecting the service. Despite mentioning that in my request. But after that nothing has been done yet. Also, their executive who called me saying they are working for Tikona, now when I call them back that lady refused to have spoken to me saying the wrong number that she doesn't work for Tikona (Prajakta Patil - [protected]). I have kept TRAI marked in all the mails since this company is a cheat.

My request of closure is not yet taken and they do not respond to my email and their customer care number dosnt take calls. They call me ask the reason and nothing happens.. ITS NOT YET RESOLVED The account is still not disconnected. Can you take this up with Tikona. Their customer service is worst. Literally every time they call they just ask same question and try to retain the customer in any cost and later on if you call them they deny that they work for Tikona. Their employees too are scared of them. This company is a fraud company and dupe the csutomers.

    I have recently installed tikona internet with 25 mbps plan, and it worked well for the first 2 days and slowly i started getting internet issues, started with slow internet and now i am getting frequent disconnect with slow internet.

    With 25 mbps plan i am getting speed of less than 1 mbps on most part of the day mostly during business working hours, at night the connection gets stable.

    I am working profession who heavily depends on the internet to do daily work and i am unable to work due to this issue. I have purchased 6 months plans as i was promised the speed, and i am no where close to getting it. Also i have raised complains multiple times and its not been resolved, every morning i get a message that this is a know issue and technicians are working on resolving it

      Tikona user id : [protected]

      Raised a disconnection request for my tikona broadband connection on 21st sep 2020 (Via email) and received a online req number :1-[protected]
      After that their has been no reply from tikona about the disconnection date

      Tried calling the toll free number but no executive is ever available
      Tried registering to tikona forum but activation link never arrives

      Request the company to terminate my broadband connection immediately and send someone to collect the equipment

      Today I got a call from customer care (NO:[protected]) informing me that my connection can only be closed on 25th Feb as I have already paid for the next 6 months
      How can you take 6 months to terminate a connection ?
      I do not agree to this and will again request immediate termination as per the TRAI guidelines you have to disconnect the connection within 7 days of raising a request

      I again reiterate my disconnection request dated 21st Sep 2020 is still pending
      Also I have asked her to reply thi with email and based on that I will seek other legal measures.

      As I expected today they sent an email stating that

      "With reference to your request number 1-[protected] dated : 24/September/2020 for your Tikona user id: [protected] .

      We would like to inform you that we will stop charging you rentals for the service from 25/February/2021 .

      As being our valuable customer we are attaching 10GB on your account with effective from 25/February/2021 with no validity and no charge for this 10GB. You may continue to use even post 10GB and at 2paise/MB with 4Mbps speed. "

      First they have rejected my disconnection request (In gross violation to TRAI rules) and will keep charging me for the connection
      Also post Feb also they will not disconnect and will raising their fake bills

      Now I am convinced that Trikona is nothing more than a scam and I am so angry with myself as to why did I get into this

      Anyways my in-law is a lawyer and based on his recommendation I am going ahead with filing a case in Jaipur District consumer forum as according to him Tikona did a blunder by sending such an email. Will also seek compensation for mental harassment they have caused

      Again got a email from tikona that you tried to reach me and and was not able to I will again reiterate I did not receive any calls so please stop making these studip excuses and playing these dirty tricks on me so many emails I have sent for the disconnection and shamelessly you either ignore them or you make make such stupid excuses

      Would like to reiterate that my immediate disconnection request is still pending and nothing other than immediate termination of connection/NOC for account closure is acceptable to me

      Also a legal notice has been sent to Tikona by my lawyer and has been received by Tikona last week.
      As mentioned in legal notice will wait for days for your response and response from Appellate authority after that I will file a case in consumer court and TIkona will be responsible for all the legal expenses

      Also will be filing a FIR in the nearest police station that an internet connection is being kept active against my will and as I may not be at the location after some time Tikona shall be solely responsible for any misuse/illegal attributed to this connection (shall share the FIR number shortly)

      Rest assured that if not resolved I will move to the court and will seek all available legal remedies

      I have all call recordings from your customer care where you have been suggesting that they cannot close the connection

      Received a reply from Appeal Authority

      Sir/ Madam,
      The Appellate Authority has conducted an inquiry based on your appeal docket number 1-[protected], with the service provider, in line with the Telecom Consumers Complaint Redressal Regulations, 2012 issued by TRAI dated 5th January, 2012.
      In this connection the Appellate Authority would like to state that the service provider has addressed the Disconnection related complaint and same has been mail communicated to you on your registered Email ID on dated 10/2/2020 11:40:46 AM.
      The service provider has acted in accordance with the TRAI regulations by responding to issues encountered by the complainant and has closed the complaint.
      With the aforesaid decision this appeal stands closed.

      Here is the request I sent on 21st Sep

      This is a request to terminate my Tikona broadband connection immediately (With effect from 21/09/2020)
      Due to personal reasons, I do not require a Tikona broadband connection anymore and hence request immediate disconnection.
      I have already switched off the equipment and am no longer using the service.
      Also please send a Tikona representative to collect the equipment (wifi modem + terrace equipment) and issue a collection slip
      I have paid 6011 Rs advance for 6 months on 14th Sep 2020 for plan TURBO_ULHC8 so please process my refund also(if any).
      Also, I ask the company and its executives not to call/email me for retention or any other proceedings.
      Tikona and its representatives acknowledge that if no confirmation email reply is received to this email within 2 days (with disconnection date), the disconnection request will be considered accepted.
      Also keeping [protected]@trai.gov.in in cc in case government record is required

      Now tell me what has been processed ? Where is the disconnection date ? where is the final settlement ?
      Just saying we will stop raising the rental after 6 months is this termination ? and saying that connection will continue after that is this termination ?

      Would you let me know how you reached this conclusion ? or you want to say that Tikona has its own set of rules
      "Bottom line is I requested for a connection termination on 21st Sep and after 1 month also connection is active"
      And my request for connection termination dated 21st Sep is still pending

      A legal notice has already been sent and will move to consumer court shortly

      Appeal authority is supposed to be impartial and take decision based on TRAI regulations but then what else you will except from Tikona

      Please resolve my query here only as like others I am not able to login to TIkona Forum (activation link never arrives)

      Also I raised the disconnection request on 21 sep and its been almost 9 days (more than 7 days mandated by TRAI for disconnection request) so as Tikona customer care is not able to process my request I have escalated it to the Tikona Appeal ([email protected]) as mandated by TRAI but from them also I am awaiting a resolution docket no 1-8852669987

      I will reiterate my that my disconnection request dated 21st Sep is still pending and request you to process it immediately and close my account.

      Moreover bill dated 25th Sep from Tikona clearly shows that all my dues are already cleared till Feb 20201 and even their is a refund from Tikona so I don't know why you are not processing this simple disconnection request

        On the morning of 21 september, i sent an email to tikona to cancel my account and discontnue my service. But they didn't responded after 1 day. I also posted on their forum and again, no response. Customer care number is not reachable and i have already tried to call them 10 times.

        My billing cycle is renewing after few days which might be playing a role here. Becasue they have responded quickly enough to my previous complaints about slow speed (They never fixed them by the way).

            Hello, this is akhilesh pandey i am writing this mail for refund of money i paid using quick pay from www.tikona.in. i first subscribed for tikona and then i paid ₹4713/- using debit card through quick pay feature of www.tikona.in. but when the engineer came for installation process on 13th august he found out that there is no signal in my location so he didn't installed anything. So please kindly refund my money ₹4713 as soon as possible. Because according to terms and policies the money will be refunded within 15 days. Today a 50 days passed but there is no sign of getting the refund.
            Sales agent of this company told us a lie that there is good network connection in your and forced to me to pay rs 4713/- using quick pay. But there was no network the installation engineer told. The sales agent's name is mahendra tiwari his phone number is [protected] he is not even picking my call.
            So please tikona refund my money. According to policies within 10 days you refund money but now almost 50 days are passed but we didn't get that money.

                Hi. Due to covid, I was out of town and didnt use Tikona for last two months. I got six months plan till july and didn't use sinxce June as am out of town. Now am trying to reach customer care and sent mail as well, no proper response and no response at all. Wasted my money as it is paid call. I have requested for plan change to three months and ready to pay immediately to get my connection. But no response. Even now ready to pay for six months and no update from them. Highly frustrated and disappointed with their service. Even local office couldn't help. I been waiting for almost more than a week now. Stil waiting for the response. No Courtney for the call.. I have requested for one month extension of previous subscription as I did not use for two months. There is no response for that as wel.. This is how they treat the customer. Even am ready to pay, getting it rectified takes so much of time. With this attitude am sure they will not survive and highly recommend anyone to not to go with Tikona.

                  Since last 10 days i am facing severe internet issues. Everyday internet is not coming fot atleast 16-20 hours a day and when it's coming there are frequent disconnection. I work and my sister work from home and because of this issue our work is getting hampered. I have logged multiple complains with tikona but it's never taken care of. Please fix the issue asap or terminate the connection and refund my money back for the remaining period. Service providers like airtel or jio fibernets are far better!

                    I had taken broadband services from tikona for a period from april 2019 to march 2020 on rented premises. I had to move because my landlord wanted to move into the apartment. So, i moved to a new place in feb 2020.

                    I have shifted 6 times so far and every time the internet services are paid for in advance on annual basis. I thought that since the service is till march 2020, after that i will not renew the broadband service, and so the company will suspend the account automatically when they see that i have not renewed the subscription. And this has been my experience also over the years.

                    I started getting calls from tikona customer representatives to renew the subscription in april, 2020 by paying up the charges. I explained to them that i have moved and i no longer live in the apartment that they were providing the service, and hence i don't need the service. Every time, they did not give me any offer any solution to what i should be doing to stop them making calls. I wrote to their customer care email address asking them to close the account. I got a response that they cannot close the account since there is some money that i need to pay up.

                    Fed up with the whole thing, i paid the pending amount and sent them another email asking them to close the account. I have not received any response from them, but i am getting the phone calls from tikona company representatives asking for money, for the services that i have not availed.

                    I don't know how to break the cycle. Their customer care phone number does not work. They take my number, promise to call back and never call back. I don't know what more do i need to do to resolve this issue.

                      I have been facing lot of speed issues from the beginning of august and i have written to tikona three to four times via mail asking for an update regarding the speed issue resolution and/or termination of connection if this problem does not get solved. I have been a longtime customer of tikona and since i have been working from home from last 10 years, i am dependent on tikona as my primary isp and for which i am currently using their top plan of 60 mbps and i am not getting speed from last one month and they do not bother to contact and update via mail or call regarding the progress on my complaint. I have even paid the bill for the month of august in full though i did not get speed for the whole month. Please look into the matter and solve the issue.

                        I did payment for tikona connection (Connection id no.[protected]) on 6/09/2020 for 40 mbps speed unlimited data for 1 year as there is no option for 1 month pack. I asked the executive, how much speed actually come to which he replied 40 mbps and that 8-10 devices can be connected at one time at good speed. The network started working on 8/09/2020. The speed at the time of installation was about 10 mbps to which the executive's response was it will increase gradually once it starts working. But it didnt reach 40 mbps ever. Occasionally it reached above 30 but mostly remains around 10 mbps. Within 4 hours of installation, connection went off. I complained and wanted to understand the issue but was not connected to any customer care executive. Then, they called during my working hours. Being a doctor, it is very difficult to take such calls in the hospital. When i called back on the only available "highly chargeable number", it just kept me waiting for long time.
                        Anyway it came back next morning so i was a little relieved. After 2 days that is on 10/09/2020, i realized that my laptop is not getting signal from tikona wifi for which i called the executive who installed my connection on 11/09/2020. He made a fool out of me by asking me to call his senior. I called his senior who also could not resolve the issue and told me that he would call back in 2 minutes but he didn't call. I kept on trying as i had an important webinar on 12/09/2020.
                        I felt so mentally harassed. My time was getting wasted in finding a solution to this internet issue.
                        I again tried calling the executive since afternoon of 12/08/2020 but he didn't respond even to my whatsapp messages. Then the internet connection went off at around 5:45 pm. I called him and he received this time. I told him to solve the issue to which he said it's your laptop problem and not an issue with wifi. I told him that i can see all other wifi networks as available including my old connection. So how can it be an issue of my laptop?!
                        I told him to solve the issue today or disconnect my connection with full refund today itself to which he "rudely" said that tower was off and can come only when it starts again and just disconnected the phone.

                        Now i can't waste my energy and time calling the personnel of this stupid internet service as i have more important things to do as a doctor.

                        Kindly help me in getting full refund and a compensation for mental harrassment and also for the time and energy lost in repeated unsolved issues.

                          I had a prepaid plan from tikona provider and he charged 1, 945rs and activate a Post paid plan without inform me and according to me it's Prepaid plan . He say after 3 month there are many plans which are cheap. And after 3 month I does not recharge it but Tikona send me a Demand Notice. I already talk his customer support for deactivat me connection but they do nothing. I emailed them to suspend my services . But they didn't cancel the services and kept charging me. After repeated attempts of telling you to cancel my tikona services, you didn't do it and now I recieved a Demand Notice from you .I already paid my due amount still you keep sending me these emails. Currently you are charging me for Rs. 1355 and threatning me to pay or you will take legal action . I tried so many times to cancel my tikona services but you never cancelled it and kept billing me.

                          Nothing resolve there are same problem every day connection frequently going and coming just now also no connection for five minitues

                          your service is very poor no serviceman attend calls

                          we have very much problems to face due to no connection our bank work remains pending due to in the middle net goes

                          please look into this matter very urgently and clear all our problems

                            User id [protected] tikona is not disconnecting the service and issuing the bill.
                            I have registered disconnection on 2 september but they registered request on 4 september after that i got call and i have told to disconnect
                            but they have not taken any action and on 7 september they issue bill. This not fair

                                    I buy tikon subscriptions on[protected] with one year plan on the day installation as per plan WiFi speed not available. I taken 40 mbps speed. I agreed that 100% speed never come. as per given plan but 80% to 70% speed what I expected. But on the day one sale person Mr Mahendra visited time of installation but same I inform him speed is not available he agreed and he said that there is some problem after two days he and engineers mr Rahul visited and fix the problem temporary after 3 days same problem related I continuously follow up with Sales team and engineer team but not get response. After I visited office address and meet Mr Suryakant Shukla that he send engineer and resolve problem after 10 days same problem start related but no one responded and I raised the complaint via app and mail but they directly closed the all ticket. Today I completely one month after buying subscriptions and I raised the 6 time ticket but still issue not resolved.

                                    I need my cash refund due to bad services.

                                      I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Broadband Internet

                                      The issue that I have experienced was: I have sent an email in June to closed my connection and then after 3 months I am getting call to pay the amount Rs1100 as you have not emailed us for close although my connection has been assigned to my roommates on her name.

                                      I have tried to register there biut I am not getting email confirmation to activate my account.

                                      Please look into this in urgent basis and provide me NOC letter because the fault is not from my side as I have sent email in advance to close deactivate my account.

                                        I have installed tikona connection at my home at my home on 28th august 2020. They supposed to provide router at the time of installation but the person said that currently we will install and you can work on single machine using lan cable and you will get router within 2 days. Till date i have not received router. Also from the second day of installation i am facing net speed issue. It is not even giving 1mbps speed. I have tested it through their portal it is giving less than 1mbps speed. I tried to call representative who registered tikona connection at my home, but he is disconnecting call every time, not even taking efforts to call back. Worst service provider ever. Need my refund asap.
